On 2-6-we paid to have our hosting account restored back to its original state, INCLUDING our websites which were down
After receiving a reply from Godaddy concerning my order, I phoned them several times to get clarification of what they needed to COMPLETE my order
I was told to provide information that I have found was not necessary, and have cost us unnecessarily monetarily
I attempted to resolve this issue with Godaddy because THEY not only gave us the wrong information, but they never completed my orderI had to hire an outside company to do the completion after weeks of going back and forth with Godaddy about their requests
I have been unable to resolve this issue on my end and would like to file a complaint against this company

The company suspended my website hosting account claiming, without any warnings other than the email that said that my account was suspended, that I was "storing files in a manner for which it is not intended or compatible"When contacted by phone they told me that I was using my website hosting account as a "repository"I asked them what exactly was considered as a "repository" and they told me that is when I am using too much disk space and my files are not changedI explained to them that because my websites are basically photos of family and friends events, ordered chronologically and by event and once the photos are placed there, there is no reason to change themThey also told me that the photos that I was using were high resolution and should not be used in websitesI am a systems administrator as well and the whole issue here is really the amount of disk space that my websites are using, however, the plan that I chose is the "Unlimited Windows Hosting with Plesk", which is

A friend set up my website and suggested I use someone such as GoDaddy as a host I checked with GoDaddy The GoDaddy representative assured me they could support my WordPress program In fact, they were unable to support WP nor help with even small tasks such as photo importing I tried several (at least four times) with different 'technical advisors' to no avail I went to the WP 'help' site There my problem was instantly resolved They showed me how and this really upset me discovering how simple the task was Yet, GoDaddy failed at the simplest of tasks I asked for reimbursement of the unused portion of my pre-paid fees GoDaddy refused with the absurd reason that I had to request this within days No way to know in that short a time GoDaddy is, in my view, a sham!

Godaddy was absolutely useless when our domain name expired due to tragic health circumstances of our web manager, ultimately our domain name of years was stolen from us- will NEVER use Godaddy agsin

In Daughter took out a web name for business, In she no longer wanted the name and had used my credit card and email addressShe had none of her own In I contacted Godaddy to cancel the web name, I was assured it would be canceled and I would no longer have that service The Name was *** *** and tea I had an old email address with connection to AOL that is now defunct for the past years....I do not use it nor have access to itOn my current Credit card statement there is a charge for $for renewal of the web nameI contacted the company and explained that name has not been used nor have I authorized a renewalThey claim they have been emailing me and I should of responded, when in fact I told them I don't have access to that email name anymore since I was berated by the representative for not alerting them of a new email address, I explained to the young man steven, since I cancelled the account, I did not notify them of an email change

I set up monthly subscription account with GoDaddy for my Elementary School's PTA/PTO OrganizationWe were going to switch from a PTA to a PTO, and wanted to make sure we'd have a domainThis was last year, May It became apparent that for many reasons, we weren't able to make the change...and stuck with the PTACut to today...I was reviewing some PayPal Account charges and discovered that at the end of May, I was charged a whopping $400+ for a domain, a webstore (that I never signed up for), and email All of these charges were for items that were never used...not onceWhen I called today (June 28th, 2016) to try to discuss this situation...I was told it was over days and there was nothing I could doSickened by such pathetic customer service I hung up and waited until my husband came homeAfter speaking to him, I really felt like surely someone would be willing to work with me....Okay...so I am outside the day full refund policy (which I still think is pretty shifty), but surely the can charge me for the last weeks of service, and refund the remainderYou know they will be selling the domain name right awayI also never agreed to the webstore or email addresses...but silence apparently means you give your consent to get takenI called back a second time and spoke with another Customer Service RepHe was very calm and pleasant...but also no helpI asked if a manager could help meHe said noI asked if I could have write someone or bring to anyone else's attention -- was not trying to be unreasonable, was not yelling (though it would have vented some frustration), simply wanted to speak to someone that would apply common sense and work with a customerNo diceI was told over and over that days had come and gone and that's itNo opportunity for any refund, assistance, no possibility for a pro-rated solutionI just donated over $to GoDaddy's bottom line with no chance of discussion
How is this legal? I’m essentially being charged for a full year…though I would have chosen to do it in monthly installments…no webstore (we didn’t need nor agree to that)…and emails are needed All things I was charged for without consent Go Daddy knows that I never used it….so isn’t it reasonable that I pay at most for months service…and get refunded the rest of the year’s premium??
At minimum...shouldn't there be a process for customers to write in to someone other than a customer service operator to discuss possibilities for coming to a compromise? I just find it really pathetic that a major company can actually charge you for something you didn't agree to or use and you have no recourse
Surely, other non-profits and schools need to be warned about this as Go Daddy sets themself up to be business that provides a inexpensive, hassle free way to get domains...and then upcharge you for products without permission and then refuses to do what is rightStand by your product fellows, and work with customers, don't stick it to them every opportunity you can!

I signed up for 2-years of Microsoft Office / GoDaddy Hosting / Managed Wordpress package during the first week of December I called in on Monday, January 22, to cancel the Managed WP and Microsoft Office items, and I was told that I'm outside the days and there was nothing I could doI told the gentleman on the phone representing GoDaddy, "Really there is nothing you can do? If that is the case, I will be filing a complaint with the Revdex.com." This is frankly highway robbery as I spent upwards of $700! I was really disappointed as I've been a customer of there's for over years

they had preasured me into buyint years hosting contract, then provided terrible web hosting service and when I asked them to refund unused funds or reallocate them towards payment for DNS services instead as they were ok, they refused attempts were made to talk to them about this

The company made an unauthorized request for payment to my credit cardWhen I tried to contact them to have these charges removed, they said they could not speak to me about it as I did not know the account PIN for these servicesI did not request or purchase services from them, and therefore have no account or PINThis may be a fraud scheme by the company or one of the employees

I purchased a hosted WordPress product from GoDaddy on 11/17/for $I was pressured into purchasing the product because GoDaddy was discontinuing my old website builder product, and the older product hard started to develop technical glitchesThe new product also has technical issuesNamely, the new product experiences technical issues during image uploads, and required the website to be deleted and recreated to attempt to fix the issueTechnical support was able to observe the issue, but couldn't offer a permanent fix or any assurance that it wouldn't occur in the future
I'm not receiving the service as advertised on the website, and GoDaddy refuses to refund the product because it is days outside of their refund windowThis is unfortunate, as I've been a loyal domain hosting customer for a long time

I have been a customer of Godaddy.com for yearsI presently have domain names Over the past years I would get an email a few weeks before each domain name was due for renewalI then had the opportunity to decide whether or not I wanted to renew or drop that domain nameI had a conversation with someone about my bill for a website builder and about dropping one of my domain names which I was no longer usingThat was what we discussedNow I find that godaddy.com automatically renewed all of my domains for another year even though some of them weren't due until August 2018, July 2018, August 2017, July Of course they charged it to my credit card that they had on fileTHIS WAS NOT AUTHORIZEDThey told me that since the domain name was renewed they cannot refund me my money
This is totally unethical and unbusiness-like
THEY HAD NO RIGHT TO RENEW DOMAIN NAMES THAT WERE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE EXPIRATION DATE
I don't understand how you can give this company a

I have been doing business with GO daddy for years and here lately I have had to call them at least times within the past two months
My concern is that I am now having them host my website and as a result it appears every time I call, I am being told that I need an additional product or service
To me it appears I am being Mis led and being bullied to pay money for products and services I don't need
Case and Point, I called them on Monday March 7th to request the free business website builder which is a product that states on my account is freeI was told immediately when I called that it was not free and the gentleman informed me that I would have to pay a fee of $although I had just paid $the week before for an additional space product that I did not need
After that I requested to speak with a supervisor and spoke with HaasHass informed me that the free website builder product was not freeI advised him that it states that it is free on my account and I p

I bought a domain only to be told that it was an auction so to speak because someone else owned itthen they refused a refund, I have been with them for over years,

today I tried to access my email but I was not able to do that because my domain named mqba.com was canceled by goddady.com even though it was in autopay(credit card info is in the file), they said they send me email but I never saw any email warnng me of any bill due, now they want me to buy my own domain

Have been a long-time customer with GoDaddy account #*** They provided a great service at a great price Then, in 2015, all of my websites went down GoDaddy had changed our web manager and all of our websites were no longer active, however, they still took payment automatically
We tried to contact Godaddy and there was no phone number so we wrote a nice formal letter asking why all of our internet domains no longer worked We never received a response We went online at GoDaddy and cancelled our automatic payments We began to read how horrible it was to contact GoDaddy and so many companies had the same issues Oh my gosh!
My wife and I figured we would just all of our domains run out because they no longer worked We've never heard from Godaddy until two days ago Somehow, they managed to turn automatic payments back on and took money from us How can they do this?

I have been trying to close out my full account including any auto renewal payments and added domain names and packagesI have called and tried closing my acct out for over two years with no success due to a run aroundAbout a year ago I was finally told to fill out certain forms on their website and then it would be all taken care ofI did do this but when one form asked for me to take a picture of my id and paste to forms through the site I did do so although with each attempt the screen went blank after adding my id to the requested formsAt this point it continued to deleat all info I had entered so I had to restart the processAfter trying this several times I gave upIn contacting the customer service dept once again they recommended I try tomorrow because there could be a glitch in the systemSame ordeal The next dayAt this point I contacted my bank in hopes to get help to resolve the matter without filing a claimI recieved a new credit card number butwas shocked t

After canceling my hosting plan they still charged me $for something I haven't been usingthen the lady I talked to said yes she totally understand but it is too late to issue me a refundi asked or store credit at least and she said that she can'tafter asking to speak to the manager she came back and told me the manager is offering me $in store credit! I asked$instead of $you took from me? doesn't sound like a fair deal

I set up a domain/website and email account through GoDaddy in for my business venture My understanding was that I had paid a one time year subscription charge and had no knowledge of them setting up the account on automatic withdrawal The business no longer existed in and in GoDaddy charged over $to a credit car I was no longer using so I didn't notice the charge until March of I called GoDaddy and they told me to call *** and dispute the charge through them I did so and was under the understanding it was resolved but today ***ed that it had not been resolved and GoDaddy kept the money
I spoke with GoDaddy today and they said they will not refund the money because their policy is days for refunds They said they emailed me the renewal notice but I never received it They said they don't mail renewal notices which is a ridiculous business practice as emails can and do end up in junk folders and aren't seen
When I spoke with Godad

Hello, In I made my own web site on Go-daddy.com for nearly a year I was unable to find my site by typing in key words In other words, if I type in safer now security, which is the name of my company, I was unable to find the site I believed I had done something wrong in building the site, so in January of this year I decided to pay a Go-daddy to build the site for me During conversations I was assured by Go-daddy employees that If I paid $to have them build my site for me, then it would be able to be found using key words, I just want to be found using the company name and Indianapolis, or Indiana I was asked questions about where I most wanted the site to be linked to for marketing purposes, I bought two versions of search engine visibility, and I was assured that when the site was done after weeks it would work properlyit doesn't I spoke to Cesar P who said that It will not be found on internet unless $per hour to have them fix it In addition a

Received my credit card statement which indicated a $charge from GoDaddy.com on 07/20/which I did not authorize I called customer service to determine what the charge was for, and they indicated it was a "auto-renewal" of domains I had purchased in the past I neither authorized the renewal, or the charge & received no notification of the charge When I asked them to reverse the charge, they stated they would not & could not I asked to speak to a supervisor & was transferred to Chris in Billing who indicated the same - he would neither cancel or reverse the charge, nor could he tell me if I had any other "open" accounts or charges I asked to close any & all accounts I might have open, and he indicated he wouldn't be able to tell me if I had anything else open If I had authorized this charge, I should have certainly received a statement or confirmation, which I did not He also indicated he would not be able to provide me "proof" that I authorized
