I set up monthly subscription account with GoDaddy for my Elementary School's PTA/PTO OrganizationWe were going to switch from a PTA to a PTO, and wanted to make sure we'd have a domainThis was last year, May It became apparent that for many reasons, we weren't able to make the change...and stuck with the PTACut to today...I was reviewing some PayPal Account charges and discovered that at the end of May, I was charged a whopping $400+ for a domain, a webstore (that I never signed up for), and email All of these charges were for items that were never used...not onceWhen I called today (June 28th, 2016) to try to discuss this situation...I was told it was over days and there was nothing I could doSickened by such pathetic customer service I hung up and waited until my husband came homeAfter speaking to him, I really felt like surely someone would be willing to work with me....Okay...so I am outside the day full refund policy (which I still think is pretty shifty), but surely the can charge me for the last weeks of service, and refund the remainderYou know they will be selling the domain name right awayI also never agreed to the webstore or email addresses...but silence apparently means you give your consent to get takenI called back a second time and spoke with another Customer Service RepHe was very calm and pleasant...but also no helpI asked if a manager could help meHe said noI asked if I could have write someone or bring to anyone else's attention -- was not trying to be unreasonable, was not yelling (though it would have vented some frustration), simply wanted to speak to someone that would apply common sense and work with a customerNo diceI was told over and over that days had come and gone and that's itNo opportunity for any refund, assistance, no possibility for a pro-rated solutionI just donated over $to GoDaddy's bottom line with no chance of discussion
How is this legal? I’m essentially being charged for a full year…though I would have chosen to do it in monthly installments…no webstore (we didn’t need nor agree to that)…and emails are needed All things I was charged for without consent Go Daddy knows that I never used it….so isn’t it reasonable that I pay at most for months service…and get refunded the rest of the year’s premium??
At minimum...shouldn't there be a process for customers to write in to someone other than a customer service operator to discuss possibilities for coming to a compromise? I just find it really pathetic that a major company can actually charge you for something you didn't agree to or use and you have no recourse
Surely, other non-profits and schools need to be warned about this as Go Daddy sets themself up to be business that provides a inexpensive, hassle free way to get domains...and then upcharge you for products without permission and then refuses to do what is rightStand by your product fellows, and work with customers, don't stick it to them every opportunity you can!

After canceling my hosting plan they still charged me $for something I haven't been usingthen the lady I talked to said yes she totally understand but it is too late to issue me a refundi asked or store credit at least and she said that she can'tafter asking to speak to the manager she came back and told me the manager is offering me $in store credit! I asked$instead of $you took from me? doesn't sound like a fair deal

I set a website up in March using the day free trialWe were supposed to be billed monthly at $after the free trialGodaddy took $out of my business checking account for the entire yearI called upset on April 14thThe gentlemen I spoke with said there was nothing he could do about the yearly, I said I wanted to cancel, he said that was fine that I had time (did not give a time frame of length of time) to cancel without an issueI told him I wanted to research more websites before I made an rash decisionsI finally found a website that I wanted to go with so I called today at 5/17/Another gentleman informed me that I am past the days to cancel (I wasn't aware I only had days) and that there was nothing they could doI'm currently stuck with a website that I cannot use, out $because they state I am days past my days to canceldaysOn the website, it states, No credit card requiredTry it free for one monthThen $14.99/mo ($179.88/yr) after

I was charged for a cancelled product I called the GoDaddy and cancelled all auto drafts prior to this problemI set all products on a pay a I goGo Daddy charged me to build a web-site on a domaine I do not even own and had not this past yearWhen I called I spoke with Michaelrayhe hung up on me when I asked for a managerI called back and spoke with Jenny who told me her manager Cassie did not have time for me and would call me back

I am highly dissatisfied with GoDaddy's unethical business practicesThey have taken down my website without proper notificationThey sent me emails indicating they were unable to charge my credit card but no where in the emails did it clearly state that had I not called to update, ,they would take down my site by x date or that there would be a ridiculous website restore feeIf a business is cancelling a service, should they not provide proper notice? When I called customer service, they told me nothing can be doneSure I can purchase hosting from them, but it is not there issue if I want the site restoredAbsolutely absurd!! So disappointed with their unethical business practicesI want this issue resolved and I want a proper apology

We had an automated renewal for SSL for several of our domains, including *** and ***Somehow, the SSL was turned off and no longer functioning as of last weekGoDaddy claimed it was a “glitch” in their system when we spoke with them on the phone (they refuse to have this in writing)
We were then subsequently told by *** *** and Sales & Support that for five websites, the transfer from VPS to cPanel Ultimate shared hosting would be $99.99, which we paid today, and confirmed with the last support person on the phoneAfter taking our money he then said he needed to check again because he was not sureWe then proceeded to double-check by calling *** *** at GoDaddyWe repeatedly told your staff that we have websites in our VPS and he kept saying that yes, it will be $to transfer them allAfter he got our money, all of a sudden we were told this is not the caseInstead, we were given another storyThat would have to pay $

We opened a Go Daddy account in The site was disabled less than months later without reason Go Daddy continued to collect funds from our credit card even though they were informed that the account was disabled and I was unable to use it After continued attempts at contact and correction, we approached our credit card company and asked that the charges be denied During the dispute; duration of years, Go Daddy agreed to pay a portion of our charges We were not paid $ Because this was so time-consuming, my husband and I essentially gave up This is not right We are not benevolent agents for Go Daddy We would like to be treated fairly; pay for a service that is useable This has been ongoing since the end of Our lives have been busy and our time is, like other's, valuable This is not right
Thank you for your time and consideration

on 2/I got a 2gb VPS it didn't work for us in terms of size
on 3/I got a 4gb VPS it didn't work for us in terms of size
on 4/I got a 8gb VPS and online it said online then 31.99/mo then renewalSo I decided to invest into the server and pre-pay for a prolonged period of time for the savingsAlso, I had a coupon code that wasn't working so I chatted inMY BIGGEST MISTAKEThe representative coerced me to call in although I wanted to do it online (now I know they are commission driven)On the call she said she would do it for me and I couldn't do it online if I wanted to apply the 30% off code
So instead of applying the 31.99/mo for the amount I advanced she gave me the renewal price for months, although I never renewed anythingI never renewed!!! I got a different product, a different, size, a different cPanel a different server altogether which carries its own product code and advertised price
Now I am being told that

I purchased a website package from GoDaddy Incon November 10, The package included website migration, basic wordpress websites, office starter email, and BIZ domain transfer The representative requested me to get username and password for domain and wordpress information from current website provider JusthostI contacted Justhost several times because Godaddy continued to request additional username and password information from November 10th to 30thI provided Godaddy with the information and was told it would take to days for transfer to be complete
I received email on December 6th stating that the transfer was completeWhen I attempted to login to my website on December 10th the site was downI contacted Godaddy and they confirmed it was down and that they did not migrate the wordpressThe transfer was only for the domain and that the wordpress was a separate process and that the website needed to be up and runningThat was the first time that had ever be

To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing due to my reason business transactions with the company Go DaddyI have had my domain for my website registered through Go Daddy for the years, since opening my businessRecently I received notification that it was time for renewal of my domain name as I usually do, I renewed my service onlineHowever, this time when I submitted for renewal the page didn’t process and I didn’t receive confirmation that the transaction had processedTo prevent an interruption in service for lack of payment, I refreshed the page and resubmitted, after which the page processed and I immediately received confirmation of the transaction
Days later, while traveling I received an email alert from my credit card company that a duplicate charge had been made by Go Daddy on my account for the same charge and I was asked if I intended to make two purchasesI responded that I did not
Later that week I was informed by one of my customers that my website was not

Worse email service for the last 5+ months!
We are unable to send any emails from our mobile phones and the SMTP options regularly require changes on PC and Mac devicesRight now I have spent over minutes talking to Go Daddy's Customer Support in India, person named M M*** and the technical team failed to resolve the issue
We waited for minutes for Go Daddy's email servers to respond and we received the "The connection has timed out" issue on all domains held with Go Daddy
How does Go Daddy expect its customers to use their service and continue to renew / repay for such poor experience?? Go Daddy is hurting our business as we fail to connect internally and externally with our stakeholders and clients

Due to the abysmal service I received from Godady, instead of utilizing any of the purchased package, most notably the Domain Name and the Email account, I immediately requested that everything be transferred back to 1andmy previous provider
We are approaching weeks since I contacted Godady requesting that the entire package be canceled, the domain name be sent back to 1andand a full refund be returnedI have been given numerous conflicting statements that I thought it imperative to record the calls
On Friday July, 20, 2018, I spent over hours of my day going back and forth with Godady I conversed with Bobby who initially advised me that it would take 2-mins to obtain the codes to transfer the domain name back to 1andHe then advised me that it would minsI requested a manager and was transferred to Ryan
Ryan advised me that Bobby was doing a great thing for me by downloading the codes to transfer the domain name back to 1and He confirmed that in ord

godaddy has the worst customer service representatives I have ever had an experience withI called one day because I was having issues with my websiteWhen I called them for assistance they claimed to have fixed the problem but they never didI called them back again and they blamed me for the problem with the website and told me I cancelled the service! To my knowledge I never cancelled any services! I wanted my website to not go "live" while I changed itThey said when I did that it cancelled the whole website then they tried to charge me money to get it back! That's a scam! It's very vague and confusing trying to use their softwareYou would think they would want you to be aware if you cancel a service! They would not restore the service that I signed up for! Total scam!!!

I renewed my membership on 01/22/for the amount of
refund is available within days
I contacted vendor on 29th and 30th dayNO one answered my call
I contacted on 31st day and talked to persons regarding refundI was told that I will not be refunded because its past one day of their days refund policyAlso, I was told that as I already paid, I can continue to use service for one year but there is no way I would be given refund

Good morning
We are a small business that pays monthly for GoDaddy's "Quick Shopping Cart" service for our Online store Since Aug6, our "Quick Shopping Cart" has been inoperableWe received an email on Aug 8, from a potential customer stating " there was a problem with our site because they were unable to purchase productsWe've contacted GoDaddy customer service several times for answers and no one at GoDaddy's "Customer Service, Hosting Dept., SSL Admin, and several other departments" could give us a definite answer on why our "Quick Shopping Cart" site is down
Small Businesses aren't that important to GoDaddy as they claimWe would like our site up and running to serve our customers just like GoDaddy is "EXPECTING THEIR MONTHLY PAYMENTS FOR THEIR SERVICES RENDERED"GoDaddy hasn't returned any emails or calls to us during this timeWe have tried to escalate this to a Corporate issue but Customer service is Corporate as we were advisedCan you help us we need help?

On 8/12/2016, I placed an offer for of $for *** to ***This offer was declined by ***On 8/13/2016, *** was listed for sale by auction on GoDaddy.com for a Buy It Now price of $I purchased the domain and domain transfer (Order #***) from GoDaddy for a total price of $I called GoDaddy twice between 8/13/and 8/18/to confirm that the sale had gone throughBoth times, I was informed that the sale was guaranteed and that the seller, ***, was in the process of providing transfer informationOn 8/19/2016, I received a cancellation email (Refund Receipt # ***R) notifying me the transaction had been cancelledI called and spoke first with Rep Brandon @12pm, who stated that they were contacting *** to see what had happened, and then with Supervisor Marcus (who started off the call with the caveat that he was sick and his answers would be short and to the point), who said that

When I call into godaddy, the automated service asks for my phone number and it states that it is connected to more than one account That is strange because I only have one account I believe that there might be fraud going on with someone else listing my phone number as their phone number for some unknown reason On 1/12/2018, the customer service rep then says that the only way he can access the account is if I verify it right after I told him I had only one account I asked to speak with a manager He responded that they would tell me the same thing and that they were all too busy He said he had no way to do anything which is unacceptable especially if there is some sort of fraud going on

I have upgraded my hosting early on July and the NIGHTMARE startedThe websites would not show, or would point to some different business, or shown as parked
Also every few days an old version of the site was uploaded (so I would have to have my developers CONTINUOUSLY UPDATE) as GoDaddy would upload Mar 18, version! IMAGINE THAT!
And when you would call them they would try to sell you maleware and SSL (even though I had both) and I was a subject to telemarketing twice a week
I can't trust GoDaddy as the issues continuedI have now transferred my services to a different hosting and all of the sudden (SHOCK!) EVERYTHING WORKS!
I also want to take my domain names as GoDaddy is tampering with them but I am getting :
"Transfer domain away from GoDaddy (disabled)
Transfer available on 18-09-05"
Holding me hostage for days from the purchase meaning causing CONTINUOUS SEVERE DAMAGE TO MY BUSINESS
I am tired of my sites being shown as 'parked' or show steaks

I have an email address that comes with my account with GodaddyI have a customer who informed me today that she has tried a couple of times to email me and it keeps coming back, so I tried it and same thing with the same result....email doesn't work and I'M l LOSING WORK!!!!!Called Godaddy and was told there was a minute wait time, waited much longer with this very busy and inappropriate jazz music that seemed almost designed to infuriate you as you're on hold for way too longCall finally got dropped so decided that this may get their attention instead

I asked godaddy.com to cancel my website in AugustThe account was paid in full into 2018, so I presumed the web site would be left running until thenInstead the web site was totally removedThey told me today it would require $to reinstate my web site ***
