The company made an unauthorized request for payment to my credit cardWhen I tried to contact them to have these charges removed, they said they could not speak to me about it as I did not know the account PIN for these servicesI did not request or purchase services from them, and therefore have no account or PINThis may be a fraud scheme by the company or one of the employees

There are issues with the GoDaddy email service that cause emails that use our GoDaddy hosted domain name to be rejected before ever reaching our inboxUnfortunately I only know about a few of those emails that have been rejected only because some senders have informed me about itUpon further investigation and talking to GoDaddy, we have found their email filters are much too strong and bounce important emails from our accountsGoDaddy has told us they will not alter their filters to allow emails from reputable sources such as LinkedIn to get to us (even though we have specifically requested certain LinkedIn groups to include us on their emailsUnfortunately this is unacceptable for a business that relies on email to communicate with its customers and employees Although we asked GoDaddy to refund our unused amount of the subscription, they have refused this request

Last month (March 2018) I canceled my domain and my economy linux hosting with cPanel Not only did I call and cancel but I changed the autorenewal on my account so that it would not automatically renew To my surprise, I got a charge for $on my credit card from go daddy for the economy linux hosting with cpanelI called and spoke with Josh and told him that I wanted everything canceledand that I had moved all my hosting including domain over to Wix because I found them too complicated and wasn't impressed with their customer serviceHe told me he would cancel everything and gave me a confirmation number and an email receipt of the confirmationdays later GoDaddy charges me $for my domainAre you kidding meWhat do they not understand about canceling ALL of my services? I WANT EVERYTHING CANCELED AND THEY NEED TO STOP CHARGING MEWHEN I SAY CANCEL EVERYTHING BECAUSE I NO LONGER WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH GODADDY, I MEAN CANCEL EVERYTHING! I can't believe that I'v

I contacted GoDaddy on behalf of my client because they were not satisfied with GoDaddy's email serviceI was encouraged to purchase a product called Office Since the purchase, my client has requested to discontinue this serviceWhen I called GoDaddy, they informed me that I agreed to a contract and that the terms of the contract were CLEARLY explained to meNot only do I dispute the fact that I agreed to any such terms, I dispute the fact that they were ever CLEARLY explainedI have been in contact with the so-called "office of the ceo," and they have not been able to provide any proof that I agreed to anythingThey just insist that it "has been documented." Based on the experiences I have had with the greatly inadequate GoDaddy customer service staff, I would not hesitate to suspect malfeasance

Godaddy domain auctions I was currently bidding for an domain azureshell.com on the godaddy auction site Godaddy charged me to even to be able to bid in an auction on a domain, and then Godaddy bid in their own auction to raise the price of the current bid Godaddy was the only other bidder Godaddy markets their domain sells as auctions when they aren't really auctions Godaddy bids in fake auctions they host in order to drive up the price

I can't believe but they are actually spying on customers
I signed up for a simple domain name for my part time business I really didn't need a website but I thought having online presence would make me look more professional
Since I work full time, I don't even have much time to devote to my side hustle Still I paid for webhosting from GoDaddy I set up a free website from another company and forwarded the domain
I only had my domain for 1year During the year, I really didn't use the website and didn't need the domain I got free websites thru my professional associations and that was good enough for what I needed I even started using the other websites before my year was over
When the year was up I decided I would not renew
Go Daddy charged my credit card It sat for a few days in pending charges so I was able to cancel it Here's the thing
During the previous year, I lost my credit card and had to get a new one I never gave Go Daddy my new credit card number So how did they get it or how were they able to charge my new card?
I can only think that they have some spy program on my computer and got it thru my online purchases I don't know how they got it I never gave it to them This has never happen to me before but I am getting a new computer asap

On 01/17/Godaddy.com charged my *** account $ and $for services I never ordered or authorizedThese were two separate charges ultimately resulting in two separate overdraft fees
*** charged my personal checking account and ran it into overdraft status twiceAfter contacting both *** and GoDaddy, they told me they were wrong charges and would be refunded with no further explanation but not overdraft fee's I have refunds pending from Godaddy that can take up to days to refund *** told me it can take up to days to see the refund in my account totaling a possible days for a refundIn the mean time my account is twice overdrawn to the tune of almost $I contacted GoDaddy and they said they started the refund process but were unable to tell me how the charges came about in the first placeThey hung up on me twiceFirst by a man named Elliot and the second time by his billing supervisor named ChrisNether were willing to tell me wh

GOdaddy sold me a domain name called *** which I paid for and then took it away
I paid for it and won it at the auction, it belongs to me and I should be able to now use it

My domains auto-renewed and I was provided with an email outlining the renewal would be occurring on August 9th, The renewal email noticed showed that was $19.99/yr for each one ($x2) I was okay with this price for each
However, when the renewal was processed on August 15, they also charged me $for each domain for the Private Domain Registration ($x 2) Private Domain Registration was always offered to me for free in the past and was not listed on my email renewal notice
I called GoDaddy on Monday, August 20th, (the first business day after I realized these extra charges) to have the $x(for each domain) reversed and they said they would not That said they could cancel the service if I wanted to get the money back However, I don't want to remove the privacy feature as it's important to me
I would have moved to another provider who provides this service for free had I known they were going to charge this fee Now tha

Seems like they have a domain ramson business on the sideThey are keen to manually delete a domain immediately to force you to pay $to get it back or they put it for sale on auctionActually they advertise this expiring domain auctions quite a lot, who knowsI transfered a .ch domain with them and swith autorenewAfter receiving a notification that my credit card was not up to date, I updated the information before the domain expired, but they wouldn't let me renew it automatically and sure enough I got an email saying that they had deleted the domainAfter I call the tech support, all I got was that I had to pay up or they would put it out for auction, even if they acknowledge that my payment information was up to date at the time the domain expired and it was marked for automatic renewalGo Greedy!

I have been a customer for Godaddy since I have three web sites that were scheduled to renew automatically on the 1st week of every monthIn the 1st week of January for some reason the credit card in there system did not go through though I had sufficient balance in my card
They deleted all my web sites abruptly and cancelled my accountsI lost all my files and I spent over $for the site designs
They said they sent email notificationsThat is a lieThere emails system and the dash board they changed recently and that is why lots of old accounts got affected
They had my phone numberBefore canceling and deleting all the files why they did not send a text message at least

GoDaddy sold me a faux website and did provide faux list of credentials to allow me to forward simple HTML packets of even the simplest of data to be published
Sales portended the following needed credentials to use FileZilla
host:
username: a0qh5sxcwsie
password: tj&db3Eg)*g0{O
This did not work and their tech support cld not provide help by way of providing me credntilas that would work
Indeed, tech support tried to convince me that I was in errorI tried and tried listening to their remedies for having provided me with bad logincredentials
I am and a retired CNN/TBS engineerI dealt with high-end PCs and since there was such of thing as a PCGoDaddy couldn't provide me with simple FileZilla login credentials and then attempted to say it was my fault as I repeatedly followed their incorrect instructions

My partner had a website hosted by GoDaddy
He died last October They helped themselves to another payment for this year, will not repay it, and to add insult to injury send me chirpy emails about how well it is doing
I tried phoning them, the young child that answered the phone said they had never had a customer die on them before, did not know what to do
Do not deal with them, run screaming if they suggest doing business with you, they are not capable people

Join Go Daddy in Jan and some how I was added to their auto bill program so I was charged again the year for a service I no longer need I called customer service and was told no refunds after days well by the time the charge hit my credit card the 30days was past and they refuseed to refund the billing for $128,to my card I have not used the service after jan of and no longer need theservice so I am getting charged $for nothing so they are basicly ripping people off all I want is a refund of this money and they refuse to do it even talked to a superviser that also told me no

In April of I purchased a website redesign package from GoDaddy.com for $plus tax After months of back and forth with the "design team" I was unhappy with the process and results that I got I had called GoDaddy.com to ask for a refund and to take my business elsewhere at some point in June
On that call they requested one more shot to try and make it right I gave them that shot to get the site designed right They tried again, and I was still very unhappy with the result I went ahead and had them publish the site as is however since I already had lined up another designer to go in and change the design, and needed to get a site up that at least had relevant and accurate content While I was unhappy with the design, the content I did have control over vsmy prior site, this is why I went ahead and had the site published even though I was not happy
When GoDaddy published the site, our website was completely down for a few hours They did not let us know th

I called spoke to a customer service representative on Oct 2, regarding recent charges to my credit cardIt was explained hey were annual renewal fees on my productsAgreeing, I explained there were products that were never utilized in the years that I had been paying them and wanted to cancel those specificallyThe representative agreed and stated he would proceed cancelling those specific products and issue two credits back to my credit cardOne for $and the other for $I only received the crew under for the $I called godaddy back to inform and was told on their end it shows up as both being refunded and I need to contact my credit card companyI called my credit card company and gave them the amount of $and reference number and explained that It was supposed to have refunded back per godaddy on Sept24thThe refund for that amount never came throughI was advised to wait business days to see if the refund would push throughIt never

After not using Godaddy's service for over months they charged me a renewal fee, and when I attempted to
1) Disable autorenewal or remove my credit card the site would not allow me to do so
2) When I called to file a complaint with the company they had multiple challenge questions to actually get to a live person where I needed to know a random customer #, a call in pin,
3) The did remove autorenewal from my account
3) After talking to the support person and their manager they refused to refund any of their fees and further the manager at godaddy refused to provide me a name for himself or his manager They also refused to allow me to record the call

GoDaddy product sales promises 24/tech support and promises if GoDaddy isn’t able to fix the issue it will go directly to the source to get the answersGoDaddy LiesGoDaddy abandons it’s customers and misrepresents its support capibiliesShame on GoDaddy

Already filed a complaint Complaint ID #*** but Revdex.com and GoDaddy didn't listen
Issue is they send receipt for billing then a week later send a product failed billing notice on $auto renew
This payment is appearing on my credit every month
It is an issue with GoDaddy billing or Chase bank, but NOT WITH ME
And Likely with GoDaddy billing
GoDaddy then takes down your website after ***days***
GoDaddy did not provide a link to the terms and conditions or proof that I have read and accepted them
GoDaddy provided no text alert message, or email with READ RECEIPT enabled stating website would be taken down
This happened months in a row, RECEIPT for services received
THEN PRODUCT FAILED BILLING RECEIVED a few days or week later
EACH MONTH the charge APPEARED ON MY CARD
so this became a STANDARD
I notified GoDaddy and they didn't believe me or didn't care
Instead they charged me $to get my website back and "DISCOUNTED" the website hostage t

I had Linux hosting through godaddy for my business website I renewed in January By March it no longer would load when the address was typed in I called godaddy and was told there were corrupt files in the data and they were deleting them The problem should be resolved it was not I then spent hours through online support and was told it was my issues and I needed a new templateI purchased a new template and it still did not workContacted godaddy again for hoursThey were adamant it was an issue with the templateCalled the template company and they told me exactly what to say to godaddy When I called for the fourth time they finally admitted their server was old and dyingIt wasn't anything to do with the old or new templateI was told they could not just switch me to a working serverI had to go in and back up files Then request that SSL be enabledI started the process days later the files were not able to be deleted and I had to call yet again
