I have been keeping a close eye on a domain name: ***", which's status is "pending delete" beforeThe whois query results showed that the domain name would be deleted and put on public market recentlyI have been tracking the domain name for several days, at the same time, I purchased "Godaddy domain backordering" of ***" to rise the success rate of registration
Until March 19, (the time zone is UTC+8, the same below), one of my friends found that ***" could be registered in GodaddyImmediately I have been noticed, I registered it in GodaddyYet strange, I haven't received any reminder from "Godaddy domain backordering" service even I had registered elm pay.com successfully, nor service had been triggered
But surprisingly, later in the day, I received an email message from Godaddy, it showed that my domain name ***" had been removed, without any reasons, nor did I receive any other notices from Godaddy, such as a phone call, etc

I am so stressed out with this company no renewal notices, nothing just straight takes money from the credit card which was never set up for pre-authorized paymentTook C$249.83, never was asked, and when I called to cancel I was told it will be cancelled, no notes left from the previous agent even though I had spoke with them days after the fact of money taken off the credit cardWhen I called a month later to ask why I have not received a refund ,I was told I am out of the thirty day period and cannot get a refundI was fraand would like a refund, never to deal with this company ever again

I have been with GoDaddy for a number of years now, for both my personal and business domainsI received an email from an Ashley M P*** this week, who claimed to be my "personal account manager" and stated that my website is out of dateShe also stated in the email 'THIS IS YOUR FINAL NOTICE"
I called and spoke to her, as typically when one of these "account managers" gets hold of me it is yet another overly aggressive attempt to up-sell meShe stated one of my two domains is on "outdated" software, and needs to be migrated to the newest versionAnd of course GoDaddy is "happy to help" - for $350.00, the same as THREE YEARS worth of maintenance on the domainI asked, what if I don't want to pay you to migrate it for me? The response:
"Then you'll have to rebuild from scratchAnd if you don't get it done in time your site will come downGood luck with that."
When I mentioned I think it unfair to tell me about this only days AFTER I had paid maintenance for the next y

I have been trying to get my website created by GoDaddy for the last monthsThe service has been HORRIBLE I have continued to provide information to Professional Web Services I have several emails that demonstrate the lack of responsiveness from the team Because I believed they would do what was promised, I decided not to request a refund a few weeks ago I was told I would receive a draft of my site by the 8th This was perfect since we have a board meeting scheduled on the 12th to review itToday is the 11th and I have not received a draft, nor a call/email explaining the delayNow, I need to reschedule my board to meet, causing me further inconvenienceThis is VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICEWe are a small non-profit and a current domain customer with GoDaddy and decided to spend more than our budget allowed for a professional site I am now concerned if we continue, what will be the response when we request updates!

Although I received correspondence from the Revdex.com regarding my recently purchased, ***, and complaint #***, the provided response from GoDaddy to the Revdex.com stated, "If our customer is still interested in owning the domain they would need to reach out to the current Registrant found on the public WHOIS: who.godaddy.com or they may be interested in GoDaddy’s Domain Buy Service: https://www.godaddy.com/domains/domain-broker.aspx."
This new complaint alleges that GoDaddy's suggested resolution to my initial complaint is to either contact the current registrant, which is GoDaddy, or to pay GoDaddy additional fees to act as a broker for my originally purchased URL
This offered resolution is insulting and unethical business practices

I was looking for a lower-cost option for registering my domain name., ***
I found GoDaddy online where they advertise registration for $and state that this "includes a one-year extension" :
***
So I went ahead and transfered to GoDaddy for my annual registration and then found that they said my renewal is due in monthsI disputed this with them and was told basically "tough" - that the price "is $14.99/yr so it's like paying year with year free" which is patently not true, since they will want $in 12-months time to renew
I stated that they advertised $including a one year extension and was told "I can imagine how you feelyou must be on a tight budget." , adding insult to injury
I accused them of 'bait and switch', but they basically told me there is nothing they will do

when I signed up for a Go Daddy account years agoI was told that if I wanted to cancel it would be prorated and returned to meAfter trying to cancel my account months ago without success, because I lacked the customer #, I found the number and attempted to cancel January 20, I was informed by John, customer service agent that I was too late for their new day return windowI asked to speak to a supervisor and was told times by John that there weren't any there todayI would not accept that and finally he passed me to Chris the Scottsdale Billing SupervisorHe also refused to prorate a refund stating the new year old rule of a day returnI did not sign up under that provision and don't accept that I am not to be refundedI was Charged on November 7,8,and 9th They did not have an email address for me so I only saw the charge a moth later on my credit card statement

I have been trying to manage my SOA record on domains using GoDaddy's Premium DNS serviceThe form gives me an edit button that does not work When I called and spoke to sales and support (one dept), they informed me that thiey did not understand dns much less why I would want to change my recordsI then spoke to a supervisor, who again told me she did not understand dns or why I would want to edit my recordsShe did tell me that they do not allow me to edit my SOA record, and they can not edit it eitherDespite the fact that they are using an unmonitored email address as the responsible party in violation of ICAAN directives

I was automatically charged for another year When I saw my credit card statement I saw the bill$ I was contacted several weeks ago by a Godaddy rep and I told them I did not want their service as I haven logged on for over months The service did not work for me and I did not want to continueI called the customer service number and spoke with sacia on 2/3/@11:48am est She said they were not going to refund my$ because it was over days The charge on the statement was on 12/27/
How would I know I was charged within the day period This is deceptive business practice and I am looking for a full refund Thank you

I purchased a domain name called "ufe.me" by errorI sent and email and called GoDaddy right after, and I was told that I was going to get a full refund within the next business daysCouple of days later I get an email from GoDaddy telling me that they will not get me a refund at all based on their policyThe rep Amanda which I talk to over the phone, verified and confirmed that I was going to get a full refundEver since I got the email from them I have had a battle back and forth with themI cannot believe that this company tells lies to customers about refunds
I have emails from them, let me know if you need me to forward them to you

In 2012, I reserved a domain name with GoDaddy related to a business I was openingAt the time, I selected auto renewalThe business closed in early On 8/4/2017, I received email notice from GoDaddy of the auto renewalI immediately tried to reply to decline authorization, but the email was a DoNotReplyI tried to log into my account to cancel, but I did not have either my username or passwordI called *** to dispute the charge, explaining the unsuccessful actions I had taken to try to reach to GoDaddy*** couldn't initiate a dispute for a pending charge, but I initiated a dispute the same day the charge postedOn 8/11/2017, I received notice from *** that GoDaddy verified the chargeI called GoDaddy to inquire about cancellation of the charge since I did not need or want the domain name. The GoDaddy rep verified my identity by seeking last digits of credit card number to which the charge was made However, GoDaddy refused to remove charge, telling me that I had mis

Have tried unsuccessfully two times to close an account with Go Daddy, Always get the run around Very unfriendly customer service
I even cancelled a Amex credit card to avoid them charging me and they somehow linked my new card number and charged me $
I have demanded service to be shut off , cancelled, etc
But all they say is until I can tell them the original credit card number that I opened account with back in , there is nothing they can do But they have no problem charging my current AMEX business account card
This company is terrible and have demanded, sent letter and still nothing
I feel this entire balance was collected fraudulentlyIn there fine print it says you must notify them in seven days from charging your cardUnderstand but when the credit card statement doesn't get dropped from AMEX for a week or possibly three weeks there is no way you could know it had been charged
It is such poor business practice and it should be obvious as all the neg

I made a mistake ordering a product
I only meant to paid for month of the produce and I was charged for a year of the product

June 28, 10:AM
QTY ITEM PRICE
-GoCentral Personal - Renewal - Year -$
Subtotal: -$

I have not received a refund to my bank card as of

I do not want a store credit, I want my money back

I no longer have the domain ***This domain was renewed automatically with no notificationI was unable to access the site to cancelI contacted go daddy on occasions asking to cancelThe cancellation has been refused although the website no longer existsGodaddy still charged my credit card $
I do not want the non-existent websiteI would like whatever remainder of the year I was charged reversed back to my credit card

Godaddy.com was my website builder for nine or almost years In March 2016, godaddy.com deleted my website in spite of my payments of $each monthAccording to go daddy.com people, the people receiving my payments do not know where to post my payments so it is sitting in a bucket somewhere (as accountant, we call that suspense account) and not being posted to my account I only have one account so how difficult is it to figure out where to post a $monthly payment when there is only one account for a specific customerI have contacted them several times about this issue, but they could no longer bring my website on line after the deletion One of the managers tried to persuade me to stay with godaddy.com to keep my business without giving me a reasonable discount for the damages that they caused me so I decided to transfer my domains somewhere else To make this story short, I called godaddy.com before the New Year's to request a refund for my payments (total of mo

GoDaddy autorenewed a URL I ownedWithin hours of getting the auto-renewal I opened a customer service ticket telling them that I was not interested in owning the URL and to refund me in the full amountHowever, since the URL ended in '.CO' according to GoDaddy policy they cannot offer ANY refunds for auto-renewals
I argued with the customer service rep for ~hour on this topic to no avail
So then I deleted the URL entirely from my account hoping that would move them alongStill nothing
GoDaddy is a scam - as soon as you buy a URL they turn on auto-renew and will charge you 10x the original price of the URL and then refuse to refund you

I have had nothing but problems with GoDaddy since AprilMy website goes down and they don't fix itThey then blame meIt has gone down several times and this time they can't get it backI am going to have to pay MORE money to my web designer to get it back! I have already paid her for this and Go Daddy lost all the informationI pay Go Daddy for back up on my sites and they still lost it! I have lost numerous sales and spent HOURS of my time on the phone with them with no resolve! I need my site up and workingThey have also lied to me on several accounts about the services they provide! Please help me to get the problem solved and to save other consumers from this night mare!!!

I think they suckI had Domains that I was putting up for saleThen I bought another domain for a price of $and placed it for sale tooLater my account was removed and I was over charged with an amount of $12.00+ which overdrew my bank accountLets face it, it is fraud

I have been billed twice for the same amount $in September and October through a a personal American Express card that I had on file I had de-activated my account over months prior but the domain site automatically renews every 2-years and sends a billing notification to an email accountThey apparently did invoice me but the invoice was sent to an old and closed down account *** which has an auto reply on it saying that this account is now closed
I have put a hold on both the payments with AMEX but GoDaddy has told me that their policy is only to refund accounts if you contact them within days of noticing the chargeI contacted them in September and in October within 10-days of seeing the charges but they said it's outside of "their window"
I had been responsible and deleted a number of domains over 2-years ago but apparently one slipped through on the earthlink emailI am frustrated because the window of time to complain and re-a

Our business registered a Godaddy account and purchased a domainOne of our former colleague left the company on bad terms, and he secretly changed our password and the associated credit cardAs a result, we couldn't access our accountWe called customer service two times and discuss about this situation for over mins, they said they couldn't do anything unless we have the 4-digit pin (which anyone can change if they have the account username and password) or the last digits of the associated credit card (which was changed easily) even though our business owns the account and the domain nameWe were willing to provide all kinds of evidence to prove our ownership such as business license, purchase receipt of the domain and proper photo ID etcThis matter could've been solved easily given the premises Godaddy digs into our account record, but they simply refused to do that and blamed everything on usThat was a really unprofessional thing to doWe own the account, and we own
