I was billed on my credit card for a "Get Found" product offered by GoDaddy I only tried out the "Free version" of this product on their site, and then was auto-billed for this without being notified prior to the billing, or being informed while using the free version that I would be billed
I called the GoDaddy customer support and was on the phone for approximately minutes I spoke to the customer service rep whose name is "Joheb" He kept indicating he was trying to get me a "refund" for this but I explained I never indicated I wanted to purchase it He spoke to his supervisor "Talia" who denied my request to have the amount given back to my credit card
In my opinion, this is a really bad business practice They promoted using their free "Get found" package, and then didn't know inform me (on the screen), or via email about the auto-billing The customer service rep "Joheb" confirmed that GoDaddy did not email me or notify me about the auto-billing

I paid for an upgraded service under my website builder plan, for a website under my name, and under my husbands account as well...for our websitesI was with the builder personal, and upgraded to the business Plus
Articles online on the GoDaddy site state the website builder individual plans in specific detail, in columns, for comparison

Absolutely the worst hosting company in the worldThe claim to have a 99% uptime guarantee and my website has downtime and issues on a weekly basisGodaddy does not take responsibility for this, and their customer service team constantly gives you the runaround to try to get you so frustrated you eventually just give upThe tell you they will call you back and then they never do, they promise they will give you a pro-rated refund only to go back on their word and try to force you to upgrade your hosting with a "credit"They put you on hold and then hang up as soon as you think you're getting somewheretheir managed wordpress hosting doesn't allow for reputable caching plugins to be installed and instead forces you to use their own caching plugin which doesn't work at all and makes your site crashIf you disable their caching plugin your website is slows down to a crawl and starts throwing server timeout errorsThey off absolutely no solutions to these problems and have absolutely zero business ethicsNo matter how much money you think you might be saving with Godaddy, I can guarantee you will be paying for it in the long run with downtime, customer service calls, and absolute frustrationSTAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!

I had Linux hosting through godaddy for my business website I renewed in January By March it no longer would load when the address was typed in I called godaddy and was told there were corrupt files in the data and they were deleting them The problem should be resolved it was not I then spent hours through online support and was told it was my issues and I needed a new templateI purchased a new template and it still did not workContacted godaddy again for hoursThey were adamant it was an issue with the templateCalled the template company and they told me exactly what to say to godaddy When I called for the fourth time they finally admitted their server was old and dyingIt wasn't anything to do with the old or new templateI was told they could not just switch me to a working serverI had to go in and back up files Then request that SSL be enabledI started the process days later the files were not able to be deleted and I had to call yet again

I recently received a statement from my TD Bank *** *** for a charge of $from GoDaddy.com I did not authorize this charge which was for a defunct web domain name, and the *** *** expired in and I have not used the newer one that was sent to me Neither GoDaddy.com nor TD Bank has been able to resolve this to my satisfaction
