THIS IS MOST AMAZING?
Go Daddy lied by phone, stating my website/domain would be renewed and my old website restoredAfter paying 250$ I tried to log in to my own website and it was deletedAfter calling go Daddy, they said "nothing they could do to restore my site and my money was wastedAccording to their contract, they could not refund my money"
Godaddy deleted my website without letting me knowI should have been notified prior to their decision
I spent over $5,on my website trusting Godaddy as a safe place for my website and files
I also spent about hours in work editing and perfecting my website
I'm requesting a full refund of all money that I have ever paid to the company for all sites and services
I would like to get this resolved before taking the matter to court

My website was shut down from the website builder not renewingGo Daddy claims they tried to call and email me but email and phone records show no contactThey proceed to charge me an extra $to recover my website on 2/9/Go Daddy rep Chris M*** tells me it will be 24-hours before my website is up againI then ask to talk to a manager and after an extensive wait I talk to a manager that is extremely rude and didn't listen to my complaintHe also tells me my website will be up in 24-hoursOn 2/22/my website is still not upI call back to get a different rep that tells my my website has been sitting in "park" since 2/9/and they forgot to publish it which would begin the 24-hour clockNow after waiting days I have to wait another 24-hours when the initial rep and manager assured me it will be up in 24-hours putting it active on 2/11/at the latestThey offer no form of compensation for their mistakes and they make you pay to get your websit
December 11, my domain web site was shut down by Go Daddy because I cancelled payment on my American Express CC which was used without my consent thru Pay Pal, when paying for my charges I told the sales repto use Pay Pal and later I saw charges on Pay Pal and American Express, I then called back to Go Daddy and was told that they did not bill American Express but the billing was thru Pay Pal, then called Pay Pal and they said that they do not bill American Express so I filed a fraud case with American Express and they removed the charges which then lead to my cancellation of my web account
I have sinced learned that Pay Pal credit is not available thru Go Daddy and that they use your attached Credit Card even thou you are unaware of the charges
Then to reinstate my account which I did thru Go Daddy and usuing my American Express I was told I would have to pay a $in reinstatement fee in order to activate my account and to get back online
I am now waiting to see if the original Pay Pal charges now disappear or stay on as paid charges to Go Daddy
Very sad they have to charge and not own up to their mistake and then blame me as if I am the FA!
Very sad customer service with Go Daddy the custermer is never right!
I received a renewal notice for my domain metaversus.com from GoDaddy stating it was PROTECTED and for year after the expiration dateWhen I tried to renew after the expiration date, my domain was already goneI fought with them for weeks on it, but they said it was not protected even though I had an email stating soI believe they are now trying to sell my domain back to me for $There is no indication that the owner has changed based on the whois recordsIt still is registered under my details for registration dateThis is extortion
During a general engine search I found a domain name for 99cents Once I login to my account to pay the price jumps up to $ I have done business with this company before and this is the first time I have run into such gross advertising I was given a promo code by their employee and that didn't work They shouldn't go up 120% because I live in NYC
I received a bill on my credit card today, 4-15,17, for an automatic renewal of a GoDaddy domain name going back to an account of years agoThe renewal notice was sent to an email address that I have not used for yearsI called the customer service department and spoke with Curtis and later his supervisor Colton, both were courteous but unable to issue credit because of policies beyond their controlI am years old on a fixed income, this charge ($151.70) for a domain name for which I have no use in the next years is a significant financial burdenThe GoDaddy policies regarding automatic renewal appear predatory, especially to senior citizensThe first notice I received was the bill on my credit cardI would greatly appreciate if you would look into this matter and encourage GoDaddy to issue credit
I signed up for a godaddy domain name on 9/2/to use for a business I had planned to startAfter several months, I realized this business was not one I wished to pursue and have not used the domain since then, around January At the time of purchase, it was not clear that auto-renewals would be set up for this product as it was the only payment option and typically auto-renewal is a separate selectionI also attempted at that time to remove credit card information on the account as I do not like to store my card information, but it appears that did not occurDue to the lack of clarity, I was not aware that I was set up for auto-renewal and my credit card was charged $on 9/2/17, which I only discovered due to late charges on this credit card as it had not been on my radar to monitor for new purchasesI called godaddy today, 11/20/17, to attempt to figure out why my credit card information would have been saved and I was told that the only way to remove a credit card fro
I have been a customer of Godaddy for 15+ yearsMy first attempt to get some help from their legal department was met with diversions and rudeness I have decided to put my complaint in the hands of my lawyer

We found a $unauthorized charge for domain names and a premium domain name on our GoDaddy accountWe did not authorize these charges and are not aware of what the $premium domain even isWe called Support and they said I requested this over chat, in which I did notOf course, there are no refunds for premium domain namesI did chat with chat to renew Office emails, in which I did have to enter in my PIN
I am personally suspicious of this being an inside job for an employee to gain commission on such a high dollar domain
GoDaddy sold me a faux website and did provide faux list of credentials to allow me to forward simple HTML packets of even the simplest of data to be published
Sales portended the following needed credentials to use FileZilla

This did not work and their tech support cld not provide help by way of providing me credntilas that would work
Indeed, tech support tried to convince me that I was in errorI tried and tried listening to their remedies for having provided me with bad logincredentials
I am and a retired CNN/TBS engineerI dealt with high-end PCs and since there was such of thing as a PCGoDaddy couldn't provide me with simple FileZilla login credentials and then attempted to say it was my fault as I repeatedly followed their incorrect instructions
They are holding my access to my account hostageI do not ever remember requesting or authorizing their two-party authentication service however it is on my accountThe cell phone number which is listed on my account is no longer active and because the only way they will allow me access was through that cell phone number I have been told I have to email a copy of my government id to their anonymous email address (no information about who would have access to my private personal information including address, ID number and date of birth)I am not agreeable to emailing (or providing in any other manner) my personal identifying informationWhat is wholly amazing to me is that I haven’t ever provided personal goverment issued identification information previously so how and why would my sending it now allow them to give me access to my domains and my products which I have paid forAdditionally the service that needs to be renewed is my law firm email account where time-sensitive email
I accidentally made a purchase on this website (based on confusing/misleading product information)After multiple calls and emails, I have been unable to get the charge refunded and the company contines to forward me to a team that doesn't respond to me
I used this company to set up a website over years ago as a favor for a local organizationAfter it was completed I turned the management over to the organization which I have had nothing to do with for almost yearsA few months ago a huge charge of over $showed up on my credit card statementThese despicable crooks claimed that I authorized automatic year renewalThey also claim that they sent an email to me about only having a day refund period for cancellationsNever in a million years would I have authorized year automatic renewal if I understood it, and I didn't receive a renewal noticeThey stole over $from me and I can't do anything about it because their terms and conditions state that they can change their pricing and charges however they wantDo not agree to those terms! Stay away from these crooks! Please note that this company has positive reviews, negative reviews, and complaints yet Revdex.com gives them an A+ rating?!!!! What's up with that? Just remember those numbers if you choose to do business with these people and you get screwed

I have been using Godaddy.com for years and their service continually has gotten less and less professional and competentMost recently, they assisted me in reducing the size of my website and server They misguided me on the type of server to use despite my proactive research and discussions, they failed at performing a routine migration, failed to stay on top of it, failed to make my website function as it did before, and in the end erased my entire years worth of a customize, costly website as a result of me not responding to them fast enough after an employee had turned off the autopay function on my server that I had relied upon for over yearsI was told they could recover it for a fee They charged me $to do so, but failed to perform the recovery and have lost my entire website They only sent me cryptic email that it was unsuccessful and continued to bill me for the wiped serverGetting a refund for only that month was almost impossible and then they tried to give it to me as a credit to godaddy versus an actual refund They refuse to refund me for the on going wiped server costI highly recommend that people do not use Godaddy for their services They are a dying company that lacks talent and bandwidth literally Take your business elsewhere before it is too late! Back up and get out I recommend a company like Amazon that will actually remain in business in the years to come The harm they have caused me is irreparable
I signed up with GoDaddy LLCIn April of as a school project to get a domain name to build myself a portfolio site for my multimedia careerI started getting renewal reminders in mid March, I didn't think much of themFast forward to the date of my domain expiration, I wake up to find two, charges from GoDaddy; One for 128.88, and one for The lesser one is for an auto-renewal for my domain, I'm not too worried about thatBut seeing almost $vanish from my account is a little irksomeThey rope you in for little to nothing, then bait and switch a year laterTotally shady
We made numerous phone calls to explaining to GoDaddy that they were NOT authorized to renew our subscription without authorization and they continue to bill us and renew our subscriptionThey refuse to refund the charge to our Amex account
