This couses practices designed to encourage loss of service to customers so that they can extort "recovery fees."
They then demand month payments for restoration of website when they know that their own policies allow for mohosting plus the $ransom payment for each site to restore sites to live active online status
They deliberately fail to provide proper notice to site / domain name owner when the customer's site is down due to billing issue such as credit card neededNo phone call, no clear email messageThey camouflage email notices with promotional offer messages and many other notices so the customer is not alerted to the urgent matter of their site being scheduled for "removal" and ZERO NOTICE AFTER SITE IS ACTUALLY "REMOVED."
They take actions that they themselves "puts you out of business." until they collect your ransomWhen you call to complain or dispute their lies and hostile actions, they do not allow you to speak with supervisors and refuse to answer

I replied to an email about cancelling the renewing of the annual service and was still charged the fee I have talked to people now to get my money back but it has exceeded their day policy by days They continue to tell me they will not refund the money because they can't over days I have explained that they can but choose not to In the course of different calls, they did cancel my service but still refused to refund the money Now they have my annual fee and I have NO Service at all What kind of business practice allows a company to keep your money and refuse to turn on the service or give me my money back They can't have both Go Daddy is a racket if I ever saw one and the worst customer service I've ever seen The worst part is, when I called for my refund, the gave me the one fee immediately with no problem Very cooperative in cancelling service also but not proactive to say something about they still won't refund the annual so you will have paid us

I do not need to sign on to my Go Daddy (my web hosting company) account frequentlyHowever, whenever I do (perhaps once every six months or so) my customer ID # and password do not workNaturally, I've thought I was responsible then, I realized what they were doingThey want their customers to call them, their sales persons (tech support and sales are one and the same) in order, not only to reset the password (which actually really was correct) but, this gives them a one-one-one sales opportunityIn order to identify the caller during the initial automated phone call process they ask the customer for the last digits of their credit cardThis is so the customer has the credit card in hand at the time of the phone callI have tried to sign onto various analytics and web browsing tools and search functions and they can never identify me as the owner of my site because Go Daddy does not recognize my customer ID# or passwordWhat they are aggressively after is for the customer to call them then and get them to purchase their very expensive SEO services, or other products

Go Daddy has a menu website called *** They have a menu with prices that are years old We have customers that call us agitated by the price disparities We tell our customers that we do not own the website
We have called *** twice to request removal
They have told us that we must purchase a membership on their "Get Found" program for removal They are aware of their menu and are demanding money for removal

I canceled my account with Go Daddy on 7/13/and they still billed me on 7/19/This is after the sales representative from the company stated that I would not be billed

Dear Revdex.com of Arizona:
I am writing to file a complaint against Go Daddy, an Arizona based corporation, for mis- managing my email hosted account The customer service personnel and management have been uncooperative in mitigating a situation they perpetuated through neglect and lack of information to both myself and my technical advisor
In my attempt to remedy the situation, I reached out to the customer service repeatedly but they have been uncooperative and their management has been equally unwilling to escalate this to the executive offices to get a resolution For this reason, I have had to retain an attorney to write a demand letter to Go Daddy to get them to reactivate my email account and repopulate the emails they claim were purged from the service They are lying by stating they do not have the ability to retrieve the emails
If this is not rectified through the demand letter I will subpoena the emails and file a lawsuit against Go DaddyI r

I thought I was buying a domain name for $I was mislead into purchasing a domain name for $3,

I purchase a domain online through their advertisement online after I purchased the domain, and I received the confirmation that I successfully registered this domain .After few days,I received the emails says the domain had been cancelled due to fraud. This is website is for website designing. They put the domain on sale for usd right now.I can not registered from anywhere else

I purchased a domain from GoDaddyAfter doing that, I started receiving dozens of email and phone callsAfter about calls I started asking the callers how they got my information and each told me the same thing "we bought your phone number from GoDaddy directly"I never agreed to allow GoDaddy to sell my personal information

I requested a change to my billing plan so I should have had the Ultimate WP Hosting to cover sites, plus a basic to cover That is a total of sites and plans, yet it appears that I am actively being charged for plans and I am not sure why
Furthermore, on 6/24/2016, GoDaddy charged $that was completely unauthorized and I immediately made contact to rectifyYour company refused to void the transaction, instead offering to just go ahead and keep it to extort a long term renewal out of meFinally, they offered a refund - not a void, but a refund which took quite a few days to process
To catch up, now my business is out $for a fraudulent transaction and it causes of my checking accounts to go haywireMy bank made over $over your unauthorized chargeI then got hit with returned payment fees and late fees from all of my credit card companies totaling another $So although I was finally refunded for a transaction that never should have happened, it stil

I have had nothing but problems with GodaddyI was signed up for automatic renewal with out my authorizationI tried numerous attempts to cancel my domain names with multiple calls to their service and billing reps (a week before the renewal) with no luckI even talked with a supervisor who informed me that it was my fault for signing up for the protectionI was not able to cancel over the phone and was told I had to enable domain protection so that I could disable domain protection hours laterI had an overall bad experience and will not do business with them again

The WORST! I have used Godaddy since for multiple domains and will be transferring my domain elsewhereAt first, they seem user friendly and reliable since they offer services for less than the competitorsMost people fall for lower fees but in reality, Godaddy makes most of their income thru other services that you do not need or even requestThey will charge you for fees that are unnecessary and they are very shady about incorporating themThey never refund me; instead, they give me a "credit" to use with themAs of this time of writing this, they have Negative and Positive Reviews

Customer No***
On April 7th of 2016, I called Godaddy to ensure our reserved domain would not expire and to purchase hosting I informed the GoDaddy representative that I knew little about websites, but that I had been warned by friends about fees GoDaddy charges to renew expiring domains and I wanted to secure our domain name and have it hosted He suggested I purchase a 5-year plan for $CAD which I did, and he assured me that there would be no additional charges or fees for anything over those years
I am being contacted now, not even months later, to pay a fee for renewing our domain name Please go back and review my conversations with your representative He assured me by paying this large amount upfront, there would be no charges from Godaddy for years I expect that what was discussed verbally on the phone will be provided I assume many of your customers, like myself, are not web developers and are counting on your representatives to lead us in

I wanted to speak with a supervisor because your representative couldn't help me and he said no because he didn't know if I had an account with go daddy or notI asked him times to transfer me and he was a complete ***, rude, and disrespectfulHis name is Joao and he was unprofessional and really didn't know know what he was talking aboutI am livid and pissed the *** off because anytime a customer wants to speak with a supervisor they should be able to no matter what

I was suppose to receive a refund in the amount of $on 1/06/for services I didn't use in early
I called GoDaddy tonight and was told the refund went thru on my original credit card I asked for the last digits and realized I no longer or never had that credit card The numbers are not familiar at allIn fact I was told the credit card was a MasterCard that expired 5/
My question is why you would attempt to refund to an expired card? I was told not to worry the refund would just attach to the newer MC..I called all my current MC and there is no refund I called GoDaddy again and was told if there was a problem I would receive a check I asked how long before GoDaddy would know there was a problem refunding to the expired credit card? Usually up to days..The refund was issued 1/06/and today is 2/6/ But again I was told if there is a problem I would receive a checkMy question is "where is my refund?" Go Daddy by now should know whether or no

GoDaddy consistently hide behind "refund policies" in order to increase their profitsMinimal effort (email) to contact individuals about renewals allows GoDaddy to take money from hardworking people on a regular basisIf domain are not used or there no usageAT ALL, this company should do a better job of notifying peopleSure, $is not a lot for a million dollar business but I hope my efforts to expose the "little" things will have an impact an encourage customers to use a more honest company

GoDaddy (GD) is re-selling MS Office Premium subscriptions on behalf of Microsoft, but the version of the service GD is selling is a crippled, limited functionality implementation I have two critical issues which GD refuses to address on which I have been working with and waiting for ~months in good faith for GD to correct The first issue is with functionality of the Microsoft Office Outlook mobile apps on Android The Microsoft Outlook Exchange servers hosted on GD are unable to remember credentials for more than a few hours which requires me to manually login to both of my GD hosted Microsoft Office email accounts at least twice per day on both of my email accounts on each Android device I own/use This is NOT a email experience on any platform and GD will not address the issue and Microsoft will not support me either because I purchased the license through GD Additionally, in the last weeks, GD's Office OneDrive service on MS Windows desktop (

I'm not getting notified with time to adjust payment info on my accountTherefore I've lost sites that I put my heart in toI'm passionate about my digital work and was irate to see that another site had fallen with zero noticeWhy didn't I receive a call or a voicemail informing meThis is BSThat is hardly trying to reach me and it's obvious what you've done to flip my houseI received emails telling me the day it expiredI panicked and missed any fine printAgain, why no phone callHow do you suggest to aid my situation? Drumblonde.com is my domainLegally I was never informed and I NEVER agreed for you to sell thisThis is BAD business and shady, as you wait for sites to fall so you can steal the profit by auctionCuteI have no reason to continue work with y'allThis is beyond disappointmentPlease resolve thisI know it's y'all that own the site to auction so I suggest you do the honorable thing and let me correct whatever card info you needed before you deci

A year ago I purchased a domain through GoDaddy.comThe domain is *** I signed up for a one time purchase No where on the page did it state they would use my banking info to renew the next year I am 100% sure I selected the one time purchase option as I was not sure or not whether I would move forward on the business in mind
Long and behold, this year on January 9, 2018, an unauthorized charge was made to my account in the amount of $which by the way was more expensive than my original order to begin with I don't appreciate being charged without my consent I would like a full refund of immediately(further, I have used their services multiple times and never have experienced this)

I recently contacted this company in order to cancel the domain name that I had originally applied for because we no longer need to have a domain nameWhen I originally applied there was no request for personal picture identification or a colour copy of a current business licenseIf there had been I would not have appliedHowever, now when I request the cancellation of the domain name I am required to send picture id.( have no idea how they will verify that as they have nothing to compare to) and a current colour copy of a business licenseAs well if I wish to access the account to cancel the domain I am required to provide a cell phone numberI have explained that the domain name, the***Farm.com and as such the *** Farm is not and never has been a company, never been incorporated, nor is it an organization and has never generated a business license so it is not possible to remit oneI am very uncomfortable with the added layers of personal information they are requesting simply
