Dear Revdex.com of Arizona:
I am writing to file a complaint against Go Daddy, an Arizona based corporation, for mis- managing my email hosted account The customer service personnel and management have been uncooperative in mitigating a situation they perpetuated through neglect and lack of information to both myself and my technical advisor
In my attempt to remedy the situation, I reached out to the customer service repeatedly but they have been uncooperative and their management has been equally unwilling to escalate this to the executive offices to get a resolution For this reason, I have had to retain an attorney to write a demand letter to Go Daddy to get them to reactivate my email account and repopulate the emails they claim were purged from the service They are lying by stating they do not have the ability to retrieve the emails
If this is not rectified through the demand letter I will subpoena the emails and file a lawsuit against Go DaddyI r
A long time ago I purchased this product Website Builder Personal - Page Web Site (Free Product) which I bought total I thinkI knew that if I were to every be late on my domain payment or if I canceled them I would not get them back so I was very careful not to lose themI had purchased some domain names and the time had come that I didn't want them anymoreI repeatedly asked the service rep from godaddy if I would lose the free product if I were to get ride of these domains which at the time were purchased not too long ago so they shouldn't have been tied into this old free page productI was told I would not lose themSo I said go ahead and cancel the domains I don't need them anymoreI then come to find out they got ride of of the website builder page free product and also got ride of two InstantPage - Page Web Site (Free with Domain) - Monthly which was another free productI don't know how the other website builder page free product disappeared but I think
This couses practices designed to encourage loss of service to customers so that they can extort "recovery fees."
They then demand month payments for restoration of website when they know that their own policies allow for mohosting plus the $ransom payment for each site to restore sites to live active online status
They deliberately fail to provide proper notice to site / domain name owner when the customer's site is down due to billing issue such as credit card neededNo phone call, no clear email messageThey camouflage email notices with promotional offer messages and many other notices so the customer is not alerted to the urgent matter of their site being scheduled for "removal" and ZERO NOTICE AFTER SITE IS ACTUALLY "REMOVED."
They take actions that they themselves "puts you out of business." until they collect your ransomWhen you call to complain or dispute their lies and hostile actions, they do not allow you to speak with supervisors and refuse to answer
GoDaddy consistently hide behind "refund policies" in order to increase their profitsMinimal effort (email) to contact individuals about renewals allows GoDaddy to take money from hardworking people on a regular basisIf domain are not used or there no usageAT ALL, this company should do a better job of notifying peopleSure, $is not a lot for a million dollar business but I hope my efforts to expose the "little" things will have an impact an encourage customers to use a more honest company
Use any other serviceGodaddy is useless and was created to scam people out of their moneyThey pay for those expensive commercials by scamming you out of money you never agreed to years later
I purchased two domain name from Godday.comThe first domain was www.***.net and the other one was www.***service.com but Godaddy.com's representative order this domain name instead www.***.com on December 21, Now the www.***service.com is not available at the regular priceNow the domain is at a premium price of $at a mark up price of $moreI want Godaddy.com to purchase the domain at the markup price because the price I would have paid was $
The content for my domain, premiersabrage.com, were irreversibly deleted without warningMy domain had expired on 7/30/2017, at which point I received "Product Failed Billing Notification" emails stating that my card on file could not be billed These emails also said "Don't risk losing your products", however, in no way did they explicitly state that my products would be deleted, or when for that matter
When addressing with customer support via the Live Chat this afternoon, I first spoke with Carmel who notified me of the issueCarmel than escalated me to her supervisor, Owen, who provided extremely unsatisfactory service, showing signs of incompetence in his handling of my concernsI stated several times that my concern was with the lack of clear and proper communication about the irreversible deletion of my content, and spent nearly an hour conversing in circles with himHe then provided a snippet from their Terms of Service which stated "Prior to termination of the Service
A year ago I purchased a domain through GoDaddy.comThe domain is *** I signed up for a one time purchase No where on the page did it state they would use my banking info to renew the next year I am 100% sure I selected the one time purchase option as I was not sure or not whether I would move forward on the business in mind
Long and behold, this year on January 9, 2018, an unauthorized charge was made to my account in the amount of $which by the way was more expensive than my original order to begin with I don't appreciate being charged without my consent I would like a full refund of immediately(further, I have used their services multiple times and never have experienced this)
Go Daddy lied by phone, stating my website/domain would be renewed and my old website restoredAfter paying 250$ I tried to log in to my own website and it was deletedAfter calling go Daddy, they said "nothing they could do to restore my site and my money was wastedAccording to their contract, they could not refund my money"
We noticed Monday A.M(9/19/16) that we weren’t receiving emailsI called in & spoke with someone who said an error was made in the migration process & she would switch the DNS to be 'pointed to Hosted Exchange' instead of *** ***She said the change would take effect in 24-hours & there was nothing she could do to expedite, even though we are a web-based business & were losing business by the minute
Tuesday A.M(9/20/16) I didn’t see any resolution & decided to call inThankfully I did because the rep told me that although the DNS had been changed to *** Exchange, the settings were wrong
Tuesday through Wednesday A.M(9/21/16) we noticed that a lot of our emails were being bouncedTo give Go Daddy the benefit of the doubt we called the recipients to see if corrections needed to be made to their addressesSince they were correct I called Go Daddy & was told there was an SPF issue that should have been fixed when I called in the first ti

The Complaint ID for that case is #***
The Revdex.com closed the complaint and considered it "resolved" because the company claimed it had done nothing wrong and had stated that they would "refund" me for a service that they conned me into purchasing
On top of that they allowed me to be extorted on their platform
On January 19th, I recieved an email from godaddy with the subject line of "refund requested"

I signed up for a GoDaddy account days ago, paying $and some change for various services I found out the plan I was on wouldn't allow me to build the website I needed Luckily, the correct plan was the same exact pricing I contacted GoDaddy and asked to switch the plan They refused!! AND, THEY DENIED ME A REFUND JUST AFTER DAYS, THEY WOULDN'T EVEN SWITCH MY SERVICES FOR THE SAME EXACT AMOUNT THAT WAS JUST PAID!!!
In short, I believe GoDaddy's marketing of their "Domain Buy Service" is intentionally deceptiveI am considering starting a business, and after looking for a domain name on GoDaddy, I was intrigued by their offer to reach out to a domain name owner and "facilitate" a saleAfter reviewing the FAQ's and product information thoroughly (which was NOT offered as part of the checkout process and required me to proactively search their site), the proposition seemed clear: Pay a GoDaddy Agent to ask a domain owner if they want to sell their domain within a range of pricesMy distinct impression was "a $option to purchase the domain I want seems worth it," so I proceeded with the transaction
Eventually, GoDaddy reached out to me and told me the owner would sell the domain for $I began considering whether I wanted to proceed with the purchase, but to my surprise, GoDaddy reached out to me and informed me that unless I paid $1,I would be in breach of contractNowhere in the
