Domain *** is setup under account belonging to *** ***Customer passed away years agoApparently Domain has paypal agreement with my paypal informationMy paypal account was billed $USD for year renewal for a website that doesn't exist and a customer that is deceasedI contacted Godaddy and they said since my email address is on file for the notifications, that I am out of luckI couldn't access that customers Godaddy information to disable the renewal - the emails ended up in Spam and I was out of town for a week for a funeralAlso why was it renewed for years? The rep wanted to make things right as I've been a godaddy client for over years with numerous domains and services, but the supervisor rejected his attempt to simply credit one of my other domains at Godaddy (PcComputerGuy.com or IndyVoIP.net) with the timeThis poor service is going to be the reason I transfer my numerous domains off Godaddy and inform my clients using godaddy services to d

I have been a Godaddy customer for close to yearsI have purchased several domains through them more by habit and actually comparing price or service
This was essentially my last straw with them and I am evaluating how to transfer the numerous domains I have with them
I purchased an old email plan with unlimited storage which was around $I was told I could have unto email boxesI only use actively but had set upFor the past two years I have been billed over $for themShame on me for not realizing earlierAnyway, I called them and they said up to boxes it was $and then some absurd amount for each mailboxI was apparently billed in MarchI deleted mailboxes and asked for the charges for the next months to be proratedThey refusedThey said they next time they will be kind enough to bill me $Its not about the money but the complete lack of regard for long time customers and the underhanded and non-transparent way of doing thingsThey count on people to be busy and not checkAs soon as I have a viable alternate I will transfer my business elsewhereSo disappointed

I have a domain that expired on 4/24/ I have it set for auto-renew with a credit card I received an email on 5/that there was a billing failure At the time, I was busy and my father had just passed away, but I figured I still had time On 5/I tried to renew, and it said I had to pay a redemption fee of $to get it back I had figured that the expiration date and the failed billing email would have come either before the domain expired or on the day it expired, so when I went to pay on 5/I was under the impression it had only been days, plus I was told by one of their representatives the last time I had to renew that there was a day grace period before having to pay a redemption fee Why did they wait at least days after it expired to send me a billing failure notice? Why was I told days before, and now today I was told it is only days? I feel they purposely create confusion for people in order to collect more late fees and penalties

After the hosting was affected by a Malware, our website expetrienced Denail of Service (DOS) attack, so we contacted the technical service department and opened a ticketMe and my CEO escalated the issue because we were losing business, so after talking to a Technical Supervisor (Austin S), who said will settle the account (Refund) if even after hours of trouble shooting they are not able to resolve the issuehe also said he will send me an emailbut I didnt not recieve any call back or email from themafter to business days they still werent able to resolve the issue and I called them back to talk to austin, but they said he was busyand finally after 8th day of fixing the issue he calls back and says, he wont be able to do the refund but will give us one extra year for free, by that time we laready had to moved to another hosting provider and all set the issue wasnt resolved and no compensdation were made for our lost businessthis need to be fixed

Representative at godaddy changed my contact email address without my consent or knowledge therefore I did NOT receive a reminder email that one of my domains was expiringNow godaddy wants to extort $from me to recover my domain because of their mistakeOh and before someone at godaddy replies that I changed my email...there is zero chance I would do that since I not only have had that email address for 15+ yearsI have that email at almost every address i.eyahoo, hotmail, live, gmail, sbcglobal, comcast, charter, at&t, even at a domain I have with godaddy with the same nameThere is, and I repeat NO WAY I would have changed my email with godaddyIt simply isn't possibleSo since this is something godaddy did without my knowledge or consent I BEAR NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT! They should not only renew my domain without the $recovery fee, they should renew it for free as compensation for the inconvenience their error has caused meOh but wait that is something only a responsible customer caring company would do not a money grubbing profit before customer company like godaddy would do

I have been a proud paying member for over a decadeWell no more, I invested $in a VPS dedicated server hosting, to create a secure website, where I would be using node.js to develop solutions for Amazon Alexa, I never got off the groundI'm saying godaddy should rebrand themselves NoGoDaddy or NoDaddy.com, to point out they lack quality supervision and are not interested in their paying customersThere is nothing they can do for me to bring me back

I have problems again with my domain names hosted at goDaddyEvery to months they literally *** UP something without telling youThey have ZERO CUSTOMER OBSESSIONThe domains *** shows a white page and if you allow popups they display the goDaddy upsale pageI also have several redirects *** ,, ***,, *** and they stopped workingI have been on the call with a woman for minutes and she was telling me the most itic things like clear the browser cache when I told her I was using several browsers and several subdomains and none were workingSHE WAS LAZY TRYING TO BLOW ME OFF INSTEAD OF FINDING THE ROOT CAUSEI had to call back, second time I called back was 940pm MST , and right now I i am talking with a guy who claims his name is Coulton and that he cannot give me his employee id or any other identificationFor minutes I kept asking him probably times, to talk to a supervisor, and

Horrible customer service from GoDaddyWas duped into thinking I had to buy their microsoft email service for $and just tried to cancelThey told me they would take care of the matterThey cancelled my email service and after they did this, they told me they would not give me a REFUNDThey just ripped me off!

Godaddy sent me an email for 25% off my next purchase and then refused to honor itMy purchase was made and I then contacted them to have the coupon applied...they stated that it could only be applied to MY NEXT PURCHASE after that one I had just made just minutes before
Furthermore, agent Josh M*** claimed that the code could only be used on NEW PRODUCTS and not renewals (i was renewing several domain names)Nowhere in the email I received did it state this...agent Josh M*** began to speak with an unwelcome tone and then his ostensible superior, CHRIS, made the situation worseThe irony is that GoDaddy prides itself on great customer service - that was NONEXISTENT in my interaction with them
At the end of the day, I wanted them to honor a COUPON CODE that THEY SENT ME for 25% off (and it was for a $order)...but they appear to be such a collectively GREEDY BUNCH that they held firm to the claim that it could only work on my NEXT ORDER

1) On 12/29/I received a phone call from GoDaddy telling me that, due to their server limitation problems, they needed to “migrate” one of my domains to a different server and I needed to pay $for that migration (to solve their problem??)
2) During the conversation, the GoDaddy representative indicated that the domain name registration expires 5/7/and we can take care of the whole thing, migration, hosting, and domain name, at this time This was going to cost well over $1000! We talked about several options and settled on a year plan that totally takes care of everything required for this domain for years The price was $
3) On 2/6/I received an email from GoDaddy indicating that the domain name registration for this domain would expire on 5/7/and therefore needed to be renewed I “chatted” with a GoDaddy representative and told him that I just paid for that on 12/29/ He insisted that I could look up the order and the domain name registrat

I purchased Microsoft Office (year K) on 9/12/through GoDaddy, the host of my domain I asked about email hosting and cloud services and was sold this product
Since that time, I have had several issues with the product and every time I call GoDaddy customer service, and they don't know how to address my issue, they tell me that they do not support the product and refer me to Microsoft
The first -times this happened, I called Microsoft and was told that Microsoft would not provide free support since I had purchased the product from GoDaddy Microsoft will only support the product at a cost that I was quoted as $400+ for a single phone service call
I have spent countless hours on the phone arguing with GoDaddy about this issue to no avail
The product has never done what I need it to do - i.e., provide cloud services for client files - and I want my money back
GoDaddy is refusing to refund my money because it is past the days
I want my full $

months ago I created a godaddy account to purchase domains I purchased or yesterday I logged in to purchase a few morewhen I made the purchase I didnt change the credit card info or any other info so I purchased the domains tried to login hours later only to be locked out and with a message telling me to send my id and credit card via fax or internet I call and ask why they tell me they cant say so I ask they cancel my entire account and refund me my money im not sending anything in I didnt do anything to warrant that and thats how more fraud occurs I said call *** *** and have them verfiy me or ask me questions on my backgroundso they tell me they cant and they wont cancel my account until I send it the documentsonce I do that they will unlock it and if I want to cancel I canfirst of all you cant hold my account hostage if you want to deny the new domains I by contract paid for the other ones for a year so by contract I should not be denied acces

Just a word of warning so others don't make the same mistake as meDon't use GoDaddy for anythingI used them years ago and had no problems, but when I set up my website again last year I immediately started getting hounded with phone calls about small business loansI asked the rep about it and he said it's for ICANN and they have to put the info on there, but for a small fee they could hide itHow nice of themThen they sent me email after email saying my service wouldn't auto renew because my card was expired so I thought I was done with themThen I got an email saying that they did auto renew somehowI just got done cancelling the services with them and they didn't give me all of my refund backThey said they couldn't refund the tax because of the laws in my stateFunny that has never happened to me before in this state

I recently purchased a domain from godaddy.com, at which time I was prompted to pay them to "protect" my personal information When I did not pay extra for them to "protect my personal information they presumably sold all of my personal information to every scammer in the world I see they have a 96% rate of dissatisfaction here with the Revdex.com yet the Revdex.com has them rated at A+ I think both the godaddy.com and the Revdex.com have some explaining to do

We submitted all our document to removal of two step verification and still its not been updated our domain getting cancelled now and customer serrvice are hopeless they dint even call back and the cut the call
IF the case is not resolved we need to go legally
Hope any body will return back
Thanks

GoDaddy sells bundles on their services which are add-ons and already included in your purchaseBe diligent and pay attention to these unnecessary charges and unwanted services on a monthly renewalYou must cancel within hours

Hello!
I was told in the clearest terms that I could cancel my multi-year contract at anytime for a full refund to my credit card
When I actually made the cancellation, I was informed that the refund would only be made to my GoDaddy account
I was told that this was in the 'fine print.'
I requested a full refund to my credit card and was refused
Thank you,
Robert Orchanian

I initially bought a domain name from godaddy.com about years ago, though I haven't used the domain in the last year and didn't want to renew my subscriptionApparently, my domain was on auto-renew, even though I didn't want to pay for the service and got billed without any email notice telling me that I would be billedI saw through paypal that money was taken out of my account through godaddy.com and tried to dispute the claim with paypalAfter about weeks, I finally got a reply from paypal saying that the dispute was closed and that they couldn't do anything and that I should contact godaddy.com I proceeded to contact godaddy and I was told by the agent that I couldn't be refunded because I didn't contact them within days of the withdrawl of moneyFirst of all, days seems VERY short to give someone to reply, especially when they are working every single day, not to mention their policy even states when you buy a domain, you have days to get refundedI told them that

I was told when I bought the Year subscription I had ten emailsNow I don'tThey said I had options back then but not today, they don't exist any moreBut I get one for my web builder and that wasn't there eitherThey did give me that one because it still existsThey don't know why it wasn't on there to begin with but they know it should be thereI needed the other email addresses to do business but now they want me to buy more email addresses

Worst company everEric the representative doesn't care and will shut you down the minute you get on the phoneCharela doesn't do her job at allThis lady took a backorder for me and never processed the order! Somebody shut this company downGo to domain.com and do business with them they are way better
