I was lead to believe by customer service rep and website that I was getting a web page for years for the aggreed price I paidLater I was told to keep my page running I must pay an additional fees monthly or yearly No where on their website, by the rep I spoke with before I purchased,or at checkout was it explained that these extra services would need to be purchased to keep my site running

Horrible customer service from GoDaddyWas duped into thinking I had to buy their microsoft email service for $and just tried to cancelThey told me they would take care of the matterThey cancelled my email service and after they did this, they told me they would not give me a REFUNDThey just ripped me off!

There was a site that was created about myself from someone that is slanderous and also misrepresents myself, I have contacted the company about this matter and in their privacy policy it states that any information about a person without their written permission is not acceptableYour right to processAny owner of content has the right to process a takedown notice against a website owner and/or an Online Service Provider (e.gISP, hosting company etc.) if the content owner's property is found online without their permission. You will not collect or harvest (or permit anyone else to collect or harvest) any User Content (as defined below) or any non-public or personally identifiable information about another User or any other person or entity without their express prior written consent.Violates the privacy or publicity rights of another User or any other person or entity, or breaches any duty of confidentiality that you owe to another User or any other person or entity; are all stated

For months now, my colleagues, Broker and clients have been calling me to inform me that their emails to me are bouncing backThis company Supervisor informed me that someone would contact me in hours, then hung upNo call from anyone at GoDaddyOnly an email to say that they cannot help meRidiculousNow, I am on the line with an employee and they are telling me that my only resolution is to tell the people who call me and inform me that their email is bouncing back to stop what they are doing and go online and complete this form so that they will again be able to email meSo, I have customers, clients, my Boss, colleagues and area professionals who are all supposed to take the time to complete this form just so that they can email meHow absurd is thatI am going to ask a potential client - you have to complete a form before you can email me!!!!! STUPID!!!!!!!!! They are in breach of contract right now for not providing me with an email service that is interruption free

Horrible experience after years of giving them my business they don't appreciate their customersThey talked me into upgrading to their new plan that was supposedly be better and I explicitly asked them if I would keep the email that that I had before with my hosting and they said YESAfter a month from that I learned that my business emails were bouncing back, so called to see if there were any technical issues, but instead I found out they stopped the service for emails and wanted to sell me a new email package instead even though the new plan they already sold me was supposed to include emails I called and wanted to cancel all my services with them and asked for a refund for the unused portion of services I purchased which is about years from now to expire, but they said they can't refund anything I don't know what to call them to be appropriateto me they are con artists who took advantage of my trust in them

Already filed a complaint Complaint ID # [redacted] but Revdex.com and GoDaddy didn't listen Issue is they send receipt for billing then a week later send a product failed billing notice on $auto renew This payment is appearing on my credit every month It is an issue with GoDaddy billing or Chase bank, but NOT WITH ME And Likely with GoDaddy billing GoDaddy then takes down your website after [redacted] days [redacted] GoDaddy did not provide a link to the terms and conditions or proof that I have read and accepted them GoDaddy provided no text alert message, or email with READ RECEIPT enabled stating website would be taken down This happened months in a row, RECEIPT for services received THEN PRODUCT FAILED BILLING RECEIVED a few days or week later EACH MONTH the charge APPEARED ON MY CARD so this became a STANDARD I notified GoDaddy and they didn't believe me or didn't care Instead they charged me $to get my website back and "DISCOUNTED" the website hostage t

My issue is with my hosting account with godaddy that I have for atleast 8 year now. I let my hosting account expires and yes it was my fault but I tried paying for my hosting but it was not in my account. Finally after not waiting 45 plus mins to speak to someone on how to pay my monthly hosting they claim since it expired Godaddy moved my files from my website and now wants me to pay them $149 to get them back. Last emailed I got was on March 28th. The agent claims I was emailed 2 more times after that. That is false I never got 2 more emails. Then claims I had till April 24th to pay after that godaddy move the files to there server and holds it hostage until I pay $149. I never got any more emails nor did they ever say anything about paying the a " admin fee" to give me my files back. I have tried a few times to pay my monthly hosting fee but goodady removed my files so I was unable. All I want is to pay my monthly website hosting fee which I have been doing for years.

In August of 2015, I bought the domain [redacted] from GoDaddy for $3,I had set the domain up to autorenew each year for their price of $In January of 2017, my credit card was stolen and replacedOn February 1, we logged in to GoDaddy and entered the new credit card informationIt confirmed that we had added the new CC to use as the primary oneThere were NO instructions anywhere on the site that said to update anything elseIt appeared that our new card was added and would be used to process all new payments However, GoDaddy did not use that new card on file to renew my domain, and instead reverted to the old oneIt was declined, and I lost the domainNow a GoDaddy broker has “bought” the domain and is selling it for $ We called GoDaddy on June 13, June 14, June 20, and the first two employees we spoke to there admitted that yes, it is quite confusing because there ARE not any instructions to do anything else to update the credit card on the w

On September 20, I paid Go Daddy approximately $to build my website from my existing content on my current websiteI was told by Garrett D [redacted] that my new website could be up and running in a weekIt is now Novemeber 1, and I my website is not finishedI understand there can be delays with this type of thingHowever; on October 20, I was in contact with them because the latest edition of my website was completely wrongThey left out pages and changed images to incorrecct onesThis was an error on the part of the godaddy teamI have sent emails to rectify the situation and still have had no response from themI am now out approximately $and have no new active website weeks laterI have called and emailed and no one from godaddy will respond

In May I was contacted about renewing my domain with GoDaddy, I have been a customer for well over years There was a hiccup with the website and my [redacted] account was charged twice When I contacted GoDaddy customer service, I was told that they just applied my payment as a second year When I explained that's not what I want, I was told there was nothing I could do So I contacted Paypal, and fought the second charge GoDaddy never responded, and [redacted] credited my account Yesterday evening I received an email stating that a payment had been declined and that GoDaddy was deleting my account (mind you the original charge is still there, and paid, this is just for the duplicate charge.) I contacted customer service where the rep told me because the charge was reversed by the banking institution (paypal) there would be a dollar charge and an additional dollar (the original duplicate charge) to unlock my account and reinstate service I would take my business somewhere e

I purchased services from GoDaddy (GD) several years ago. I ended my business, canceled my GoDaddy products & turned off the auto-renew option. 3 years later, GD charged me for the services I canceled. I contacted GD and was told that even though I canceled my services & turned off auto-renew, there was an added protection on my account to "prevent any cancellation mistakes". For 3 years I believed that my account had been closed, and all services had ended, but it turns out there was a hidden "security protection" on my account that prevented me from actually closing my account. This Protected Registration allows GD to treat your account as if it had not been canceled, but without customer awareness. A quick Google search on the issue shows this to be the number one complaint against GoDaddy, and countless other customers have been tricked into auto-renewals of products they too had believed they canceled. Last Friday, I was told by a GD rep that I would receive a full

I received an email from GoDaddy [email protected], on Saturday, March 18, at 5:a.mwith an Order Confirmation for Order Number [redacted] , cr [redacted] , for a ".COM Bulk Domain Registration" for "Domains" for "Year" in the amount of "1, I did NOT make this purchase!! I called GoDaddy at the number on the email and spoke to "Jessica" who repeatedly asked for the last digits of my credit card number or the PIN number associated with this account I have no PIN number, since I did not make this purchase, and therefore did not set up a PIN number for a GoDaddy account In addition, I am NOT giving anyone my credit card information, even if it is only the last digits of the card number!!! I did not make this purchase! I asked for a manager, and I was transferred to "Janelle", who fed me the same story They both said that "for the security of their customers" they only see a verification box that they are required to enter the credit card

I got another charge for something I don't have with them anymore, last year I use Revdex.com.org to make a complaint about this issue, we solve the issue and I ask to stop charging me this because I don't have a account with them no moreThey approve all this last year and today this is happening again, I look at my bank account and see a charge for godaddy.com (DNH*GODADDY.COM [redacted] ***)

GoDaddy extorting money from us (IMHO) My wife and I own a small consulting business (SJSConsulting.com) We have had that website for years GoDaddy was hosting the site We have paid every year, for their fees for hosting the site, domain name, and email service We received emails and other marketing materials from GoDaddy We received two emails for invoices and paid those for email service and web hosting service Somehow, amongst all the other emails from GoDaddy, we missed the ones for the Website domain The amount was small, maybe $ Today, we find out that GoDaddy released the domain name, even though we have paid for the other two services When GoDaddy releases the domain name, companies, who GoDaddy will not disclose, buy the domain name Those companies work with GoDaddy to extort monies from of the original domain holder so that we may “buy” the name back for $ Now we have to pay GoDaddy $to get the name back from the domain name “opportunist

GoDaddy automatically renewed email services for a year term (~$400), but their policy changed and no longer allows refunds on partial usage(I was never informed of the policy change, and the automatic purchase never informed me that this was an non-refundable charge) The email service that renewed became unreliable and I was unable to access my email after months of usageBecause email services are critical to my work, I was forced to sign up for an alternative service and migrate my emailWhen I spoke with them on the phone they refused to issue any kind of refund, despite the service not working So I paid for an unreliable service that I cannot use and they refuse to issue a refundI never signed any contract or gave permission for GoDaddy to make a non-refundable purchase on my behalfAll services that I purchased from GoDaddy explicitly stated that they were completely refundable for any unused portionAt no point was I notified of the change in the policy

Horrible company, or just customer service experience so farI purchased a domain and the privacy protection services for a specific total price, that I triple checked on the multiple forms before checking outWhen I clicked the confirm/check-out button (right next to the total price), it brought me to the summary page where it had actually charged me DOUBLE what all the previous forms had said the price would be I called customer service and explained what had happened and the guy I spoke to did not offer solutionAll he said was there is nothing anyone in the company can do after the payment has been processedApparently, no refunding, or crediting of any kind exists with GoDaddyI am still not sure how that happened, but it felt like being robbed

I was automatically enrolled for an aproduct that I never realized came with a package I signed up forThis product was auto-renewedWhen I called to cancel and be refunded for this product, I was told that I was outside of the day policy to have this refundedI had this issue escalated and was told the exact same thingCalled repeatedly to have this refundedWas treated rudely, told there were no supervisors available, was hung up on Canceling my other products because there are way too many sneaky add-ons and bills for products I never signed up for

I spoke with Chad Saturday May 7, around noon eastern time because my email expired without my knowledgeThis email is imperative to my businessI was told by Chad that "you want me to go over and beyond for you and I wouldn't do that for any other customer so I'm not going to do that for you"Chad also informed me that I am not taking any responsibility and spoke down on me telling me what he would have done if he didn't understand somethingI explained to him I understood differently from what the actual terms are because I am not tech or tech language savvy I am also dyslexic which makes it challenging for me to read and understand things that are unfamiliar to me That low level of customer service after years of my business is my concern
