On October 16th, 2016, our office manager, *** ***, was fired due to fraudOur GoDaddy account was managed by her, and since she was administrator on our account, we have been unable to access the account sinceI have made multiple phone calls, and have on multiple occasions submitted the owner’s photo ID, our business license, and utility bills to prove the business is oursI am repeatedly stonewalled, and keep receiving the same automated response telling me that the only way to get into the account is through her personal email (which we very clearly don’t have access to), and have no idea how it is paid I was told it’s through a PayPal account, but the owner has no knowledge of the existence of that accountThough I understand that GoDaddy has stringent rules in place to protect the security of domains, this cannot be the first time this situation has occurredThe irony is that GoDaddy, in its attempt to protect clients, has put our business at risk

I was in search of a new web site builder and after speaking with several different possible companies I went with Godaddy because they said they could meet ALL my needs
After charging my credit card $they proceeded to build a site that did not come close to the work they promised
My company has been based on the premise for years of "buy get free", AND 85% of my business is WHOLESALE ordering, getting discounted pricing with a minimum order
These were the most essential things I requested that had to be implemented on my new site After all was said and done and they said my site was good to go....NONE of the most important demands were met! Then, after go round and round with them they FINALLY told me they could not perform that serviceThis substantially hurt my business with sales plunging more than 75%, customers were very disappointed I no longer had the deal, it was used as a very important selling tool
When I asked for my money back they said NO

In June 2018, I contacted Go Daddy for setting up a domain name and web site for a new business They charged $for the name, and a month later charged an additional $for renewals I decided not to pursue the web site option and requested a cancellation and refund I mistakenly sent emails as a reply to their billing notice After email attempts, I tried calling to speak to a representative By then it was past the time to ask for a refund They finally agreed to a prorated refund, but only as a credit for further purchases of their products With the cancellation of the web site, I see no way to "use" the credit they were giving Their policy of no cash refunds is very unfriendly to the customer!

Myself and Mr *** *** purchased a domain name for Godaddy in Everything was fine until Jan I received and email from Godaddy that my account information had been changedI tried to logged into my account but login information and pin had been changedMy web site became inaccessible because my domain name was turned offAlso the same day dollars was taken from my PayPal account I called Godaddy and they informed me I need to write ***@godaddy.com to change everything backThey informed me there was a issue with the domain nameI said my account may have been hacked, but the said no it was not hacked but under reviewI said how can you place my domain name under review and still take money from my account? They said another company took my domain name and there was nothing they could do about itPaypal agreed that the money was taken fraudulently and refunded my money in fullGodaddy said it would be days for the review, that was on Jan and s

I have had domain names registered with GoDaddy over the past years or soAt first, I was impressed with their service and pricing plansThey were helpful in setting up and transferring domains to my site hostsIn recent years, they have gotten worse to the point that I am trying to move all of my domain names from them
I had a domain expire over a year ago which I received no notification from GoDaddy (in the past, they notified me), and it was immediately purchased or blocked upon expirationI did some research and found out that it was actually purchased by a GoDaddy affiliate, and they wanted to charge me thousands of dollars to purchase it backNo thanks
This week I purchased a new domainThe day after doing so, I received about spam calls, about half of them robotic and about half from Indian people who were extremely unprofessionalThis never happened in the past when I purchased domains from GoDaddy
I don't know what has happened to this business to turn their business strategy to junk, but I'm finished with GoDaddy

RE: Godaddy
NHayden Rd Ste
Scottsdale, AZ 85260-
I have had Godaddy for my email address and server for over a decade I was originally on an unlimited email plan, which included many other amenities with a Costco package Little by little they amenities went away I was then told I could no longer keep my professional website Also, once I changed my website, nothing would be saved I changed my site, only to be told later that was for sales purposes and I did not have to do that This happened twice
Then I was also informed that I no longer had a package with unlimited emails since “I” changed my website, I was no longer grandfathered in and I had to pay extra for MB of storage During the decade where I used my Godaddy email address for absolutely everything, including legal, and personal as well as business, I re-created my website again and purchased additional storage making it 2000MB
Within approximately one month of the upgrade to

Kept charging me for a service I thought I had cancelled, refused to issue a refundTerrible customer experience

I CONTACTED GODADDY.COM REGARDING MY ALTERNATE WEBSITE ***, BECAUSE OF AN EMAIL ISSUE, MY PRIMARY ACCOUNT WITH GODADDY.COM IS *** AND WE ARE USING BOTH TO FACILITATE TRAFFICI FORGOT MY LOGIN INFORMATION FOR THE ACCOUNT, MY CREDIT CARD ON FILE WAS CHANGED DUE TO UNAUTHORIZED USE, I DON’T REMEMBER THE PIN NUMBER FOR THE ACCOUNT, ALL OF MY ADDRESS INFORMATION HAS CHANGED SINCE OPENING THE ACCOUNT, AND I CAN NOT PROVIDE THEM WITH A GOVERNMENT ID WITH THE OLD ADDRESSTHEY REFUSE TO GIVE ME ACCESS TO MY ACCOUNT WHICH I HAVE PROVIDED ALL REQUESTED DOCUMENTS FOR WITH OUR CURRENT ADDRESSWHICH IS NOT WHAT THEY HAVE LISTEDI JUST WANT TO GET TO THE ACCOUNT SO THAT I CAN USE MY COMPANIES EMAIL AGAINTHEY ARE COSTING ME TIME AND MONEY!!!!

I spent several days creating a website for my company and Godaddy deleted all the infomation on the website without contacting me correctlyAfter being a loyal customer for almost years they could give a crap to take care of their long term customers with multiple sites and giving hem way more money than most others

Godaddy participate in "front-running" shady business practice by frontrunning expired domains
I was looking at apkey.com domain name that is expired to bidToday is Feb 12, which is not the end date of its expired auction
Then, today, I see that, expired domain auction abruptly ended and disappeared before his very own eyes
I have evidence that I uploaded via video recordings today to prove itEvidence video is here:

Godaddy never seem to fix it after so many years

Last month I paid someone to transfer my website from GoDaddy to another hosting companyI received emails from GoDaddy saying they were sorry to see me go so I know it happenedI can see the site on my new hosting company accountToday I see on my bank account that GoDaddy charged me for another months of hosting on a website that isn't even parked there anymoreI called and the agent said that it had been days since they billed me and they cannot give a refund!

I have been a Go Daddy customer for years and have paid the company thousands of dollars each year for domain names, websites and other services the company offersFor years and months it has been a great relationship as a VIP clientThat is until the last two months when GoDaddy began fat shaming me on an almost daily basis with its suggested domainsExamples (my first name)heavy (my last name).com; (my first name)heavy(myfirstname)(my last name).com (as well as .us)
I reported this to Go Daddy, including my VIP Contact Brian R*** and several others in the VIP departmentAt first they blamed it on an algorithm that purportedly suggest names based on other domains you ownNeither I nor my company own names that contain the word heavy, fat, obese, diet or anything like that,
The content of one website uses the word "heavy" as an adjective to discuss the merits of heavy appetizers vs a sit down dinner for a future eventSo in order to have got the word heavy Go Daddy would have had to use Artificial Intelligence to scan the content of websites (words and pictures, meta tags) , not just domain names owned by GoDaddy customersHad this been a one off occurrence, I probably wouldn't bother writing this, but this is now something that has been happening just about every day for the last two monthsIt's totally ridiculousIf I have multiple websites and hundreds and hundreds of domains, why such a concentration with my name and heavy?
Whether or not this is an ethical practice on behalf of GoDaddy or within its terms of service agreement, the development may affect others so I am making a good faith effort to get the word out here and on other complaint sitesGo Daddy's reps were informed that this was coming, because they lack the sensitivity, willingness or apparent authority to stop this oppressive shaming from occurring on an almost daily basisPreferred solution: They know who I amGet it to stop

Godaddy.com will not allow me to transfer my domain to another provider and refuses to cancel all recurring billing Godaddy.com has willfully violated the Texas Deceptive Business Trade Practices Act, by doing so, as their website clearly states they are sending me the authorization code, but the code is never received When calling customer service, they refuse to provide the code and are willing participants in godaddy.com unlawful activity

I was trying to consolidate two accounts into oneThe current setup didn't allow for the renewal of my websiteI was constantly given the run around about eliminating two step verification for the changesIt was well documented that I had access to these accounts and yet tech support was useless
The domain expired and I lost the websiteI paid for the accounts to become current, including an $"to push a button key"Then I find out that they deleted my web pagesI pursued a chat to correct this issueI was informed that "it's gone, can't get it back"After complaining about all the $ I've spent on this, like magic, they inform me that it can be retrieve for $"to push a button"They're costing me $ in lost business
Then I find out my email isn't receiving emailsEvery time I try solving this problem, I'm on hold 20-minthen speak with a CS repGo through the problemThey inform me there is nothing wrong, so I need to speak with tech supportSince I run a biz, time to sit on the phone is a problem and sitting on hold for another 20-minwon't work
It's Sunday and the wait is minto do the same thing all over againI'm not optimisticI would highly recommend that business owners stay away from GoDaddy

GoDaddy automatically renewed email services for a year term (~$400), but their policy changed and no longer allows refunds on partial usage(I was never informed of the policy change, and the automatic purchase never informed me that this was an non-refundable charge) The email service that renewed became unreliable and I was unable to access my email after months of usageBecause email services are critical to my work, I was forced to sign up for an alternative service and migrate my emailWhen I spoke with them on the phone they refused to issue any kind of refund, despite the service not working
So I paid for an unreliable service that I cannot use and they refuse to issue a refundI never signed any contract or gave permission for GoDaddy to make a non-refundable purchase on my behalfAll services that I purchased from GoDaddy explicitly stated that they were completely refundable for any unused portionAt no point was I notified of the change in the policy

I get several upsell calls a week and keep telling them to stopToday I just had to pay $for a expired Domain because the credit card on file expired and it did not auto renewThey never mentioned that in any upsell callsHow is it legal for them to call is constantly to sell things but allow us to lapse on renewing and collect an $That is a complete scamThey call it an ICANN fee and said it all goes to ICANNIt does not and that is a lieICANN does Not charge $The rep swore up and down they give 100% to ICANN then offered to cut the fee in half of I paid it right thenScam! I will be filing with the Revdex.comTheir terms of service does mention fees but they are lying saying it goes to ICANN and purposely misleading customers into faulting not telling them about payment issuesThey send you and email but they send you so much spam every day on purpose so it gets buried

Godaddy has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with, they kept me on the phone for literally hours yesterday and today another hour and halfI signed up with godaddy yesterday and the program they put me was junk, Then this agent said you need another program and she moved me She never mentioned a price differenceWell, I work on the site for hours and I notice the mobile site looks all wonkySo, I call to see how I fix itGuess what you can'tSo, the agent says he needs to move me to a different program and I have to start all overWell he changes and me he changed me back to exact same program I was initially onSo, I call back again and guess what he moves me back to the program I was building onHe said just turn off the mobile function and the site will show up perfectlyWhen I spoke with him I confirmed I was on plan which is a yearWell, today when I went to link my facebook to the page it linked my personal account rather than my busines

Disgusted to say the least - I am about to renew a domain that I have had with Godaddy since 2001, How the hell do you go from 8.99$ to $70??? Not to mention the rip off on email address rates and poor poor poor customer service, that cannot understand one simple questionLooking to take my business elsewhere IMMEDIATELYenough is enough

I had a website hosting with the hosting being provided by GoDaddy.comIt was set to expire on October 29, We were going on vacation the week leading up to that renewal dateSo, I had renewed my web hosting with them for the upcoming year, October 30, through October 29, prior to going on vacationBeing nice to them, because I knew they wouldn't have kept the site online if I hadn't paid them until after we returned
On November 23rd I contacted GoDaddy.com about how to close out my web hosting and siteWith the plans of closing it out that day, November 23rdThey instructed me to make sure that all businesses that I use the email address I have with this web hosted website are updated with any new email address I will be usingBut said nothing to me that I had to ensure I closed out my web hosting account before November 29, to ensure I receive a refund for my unused months of web hosting already paid for in October
After ensuring all my email contact

In July I had extensive phone conversations about my website needs with GoDaddyI was told when giving specific examples of websites that I would like to model mine on that a "Simple Site" would fit the bill
It became apparent after the building of the site happened that there was no way this site would ever be any thing I could put in front of my customers and all the things that were missing I was told that I could "add later with their website builder"I hired GoDaddy because I did not want to spend the time building a websiteThe site did not cover the majority of items that I requested and was simply a plug and play template that looked amateur at best
Every time I tried to ask about missing pieces, I was just advised I needed to buy more servicesIt was clearly an original promise of things they could not deliver, followed with a request for me to buy further productsI was advised today that there is no way to get any refund on the site or the prepaid hosting and t
