When we go to do updates on our site, numerous times its down for maintnence along with our site in generalVery inconvienientI never seen or experienced this much issues with any other host provider

On March 17th, I purchased and paid for a domain from GoDaddy The domain name was *** and it had a fixed price which I paid I agreed to the terms and conditions and paid Godaddy $
After purchasing the domain I spent a significant amount of money having a logo and banner designed for the *** website as well as articles all written specifically for the website and finally had a web designer build a custom made for my new website The cost for all the design work and article content was $
On March 26th the site designer had completed the design and was ready to begin adding in the articles, logo, banners etc so that the site could go live so they requested the GoDaddy information from me
When I logged into GoDaddy on Saturday March 26th I didn't see the domain listed in the domains that I owned and controlled so I called GoDaddy to inquire why it wasn't listed
The GoDaddy representative said that GoDaddy had refun

We had Go Daddy build us a website and it was non-responsive We asked them to convert our existing website to a platform that was more responsive and they agreed to convert our existing website as is for a set price They then called back over a series of months and up the price on separate occasions They took our money and now they want to build a page website instead of the pages they agreed to

GoDaddy.com lures people online to purchase a domain name and for the personal or business web sidesI registered last year for such a domain name with .org for my charity workWhen you look at heir website it looks at reasonable price but at the time of renewal it was enormously highWhen I received the statement I was surprisedSo I called first GoDDaddy and I asked for explanation for the high charges and the answer was not satisfactory I was told that that is what the price when I registered the domainWhich wasn'tEven if you will check out their website tidy it shows free or low priceTheir agent told me that they did not send me the renewal notice as it was auto renewal But after that a woman representative called me and I was told that I was just supposed to pay the domain charges and not anything extra if did not want the service to be continuedBut again they charged me $ without explaining to me what are the extra charges for? They are doing something wr

I sent an email to GoDaddy asking them to cancel my auto renew for an annual service They wrote back and told me I had to call in I called in but they now say they have no record of my calling in They billed me for years of service and had it deducted from my credit card I did not see the charge as I now live in a different state and my credit card statements were not forwarded to me I only found out about the charge when a collection agency called regarding this credit card which has not been used for over a year
GoDaddy tells me they cannot cancel my service and will not prorate the charge, as if to say that I will be paying for years of service even though the service began months ago and they mistakenly did not cancel my service

TERRIBLE customer service!! don't be lured in by cheap starting prices, they'll put you on auto renew, jack up the price, and if you don't contact them within days they refuse to process a refundI spent an hour on chat with customer service and then customer service supervisor, then they said, well maybe billing can help - i've been on here for an hour, why didn't you say that previously?!? I did not talk with billing, I have filed complaint with my credit card company - stay away, far far away!

I received an auto-renew bill via emailOnce I saw the bill, within a week, I called GoDaddy to cancel serviceI never authorized the charging of my credit card and did not receive notifications prior to that pointI was told they could only refund about 10% of the services because that's how they operate their contractsAgain, never authorizing a renewal of services and with no notifications, I was billed and they said they were not able to refund charges
I would like to receive a refundI will not be utilizing their services going forward and will no longer be referring them to friends and family

I was charged for a year subscription to *** *** *** without authorizationGo-daddy claims they had phone authorization from my administrator, however my administrator denied the service and only authorized renewal of domain names onlyA representative of Go-daddy, without authorization, signed us up for a service we did not want or need as we have that service already for free through our internet provider Because I did not catch the financial transaction within days, Go-daddy refuses to refund Go-daddy has no proof of a name or authorization of that service as it was done with out authorization by one of their reps

I purchased a domain from GoDaddy.com several years agoI no longer use the domain and do not plan to use the domain in the futureGoDaddy.com automatically put my account on Auto-RenewI noticed a charge 2-years later on January 12, on my credit card for $which was for another 2-years of serviceI called GoDaddy.com 10-days later after I noticed the charge on my credit card to get refund because I no longer use the service or domain and do not plan to use the service or domain in the futureThe customer service rep told me they would issue the refund within 5-days and gave me a reference #After more than a week, I noticed that I never received a credit back to my accountSo I called GoDaddy again with the reference # they gave me and the rep now told me they are no longer issuing a refundThis is very frustrating because more than a week ago they told me I would receive a refund and even gave me a reference # for the refund requestI no longer use the service fo

Hello,
I purchased Business Website Builder through GoDaddy, which made claims and promised both online and over the phone that this would be a seamless experience and easy to use and it was anything BUT that I have struggled with it continuously and have done my best to make the most of it So instead I purchased *** through GoDaddy again, giving them my business to create my website Already it is far superior that the the Business Website Builder they sold me over Since I bought a second website builder product through them and haven't been able to use the initial Business Website Builder I simply asked for a refund on it No luck, Kayla on the phone but was nothing but short and condescending to me I in good faith tried repeatedly to use their product with no luck, I then bought a second product from them which I am ok with The fact they wont refund their crappy Business Website Builder as it did not live up to the promises they made is ridiculous

I opened an account with Godaddy to start a website My business has evolved away from use of that website and I decided to close it now some years after opening it I attempted to log on to the account and could not Although my computer retains all login info and records any change I make, the authentication requirements had changed So I went through the change of password links The new password reset would be acknowledged but would be rejected immediately upon trying to login I carefully repeated this process several times than called the technical support number They requested a telephone pin number that I am not aware of ever having been issued Lacking that they requested the last numbers of the credit card used for payment After consulting bank records, I gave them the correct number, the one used yesterday to collect a payment from my bank account, and they rejected it as not matching the number they have on file for their internal authentication process The t

I have been attempting to remove or change the 'Two-step Authorization' for our account login...since AugustI am a client of Godaddy for well over yearsThe problem is still not solved
Attempt part
I followed the instructions on the website to remove or change the Two-step Authorization for loginOver times
- The ONLY process is to email godaddy from an email connected to the account
- It is written on the Godaddy website that after the email is sent properly a reply email will come from the 'Two-step Authorization' change department
- a) No reply has been recieved from Godaddy after over attempts
Attempt part
I spoke to Godaddy representatives who gave the same instructions to remove or change the Two-step Authorization for loginAt least times
- a) When speaking with a representative named 'Shane' he confirmed that my email had been received by CC to his inbox
- b) He and his supervisor REFUSED to forward my email to the department that could s

I received email messages that my domain and associated services were about to renew It went on to wrote I could manage by renewals When I want onto the company website to cancel some of the services it says it was too late I changed a service to a total of $+/- When I clicked to confirm I was charged $ I called in to have it fixed and they said they couldn't It was against some rule that domain terms cannot be changed

Go Daddy is saying that they have a recurring payment which they do not and have charged me for a product that I was not able to use last year since we were unable to get the website to link with the domain and hostingI was suppised to see the charge on my credit card for a product that did not work last year

Please investigate Go Daddy
The company is offering free Mini Storage and Calendar to its customers and then it automatically charges for it again the next year -- it provides no notice of the product or the yearly cost at the time you order (if you order another product over the phone) and then it provides no notice of renewal the following year and the company does not send any billing statement (as it does with other products I was charged $ The customer service representative I spoke with told me it is "a product that I do not need" The company also give you the impression that it is vigilantly notifying you about every product renewal or expiration (reassuring consumers about their account status), only to omit to notify us on certain products that we will not detect because we have never ordered them the first place -- all so that you get charged unknowingly It is extremely dishonestIt's fraudulent
Go Daddy has annual Revenue of over $1Billion and states

On, March 29, I paid for a month of "Online Store" service with GoDaddy.com for a websiteI cancelled the renewal of that service on April 19, My website was taken off the internet on April, 20, When I became aware of this, I asked GoDaddy.com for a refund of the remaining part of the monthI was told that would not be possible

We were setup on an auto-renew email hosting plan that renewed in December We were no longer utilizing Godaddy for Email hosting and were in the process of migrating to another service providerIn early January we changed our domain settings to no longer utilize Godaddy email and then contacted Godaddy in order to cancel this account, but were declinedWe requested a partial refund since we were no longer using their services but were again declined any refund amountGodaddy has charged us for a service we are not utilizing and this is inappropriate

Paid GO Daddy for a WEB site and got nothing, now a year has gone by and they are trying to charge me again and I contacted them tonight and they would not help me unless I had a pen number witch I never got from them, the are happy to take my money but never did a web site for memy account # is *** All I want is my $returned to me, they did nothing so I demand my money BACK !!!!!!!!

Office e-mail not setting up despite saying it is for domain poundofbutter.caIt always only ever stuck on "we are creating this e-mail" but never actually createsI was on GoDaddy chat with Bery today and he was not helpful and said I would have to "wait" for it to set up - but it never ACTUALLY sets up, which is why I contacted GoDaddy to begin withI told him I wanted compensation for the service not properly working but he said in order to get compensation I would have to CANCEL my hosting plan with them, which I DO NOT want to do
Cr: ***

Recently renewed multiple domains at Godaddy, then modified one, resulting in a credit of $ Instead of issuing us a credit on our credit card, they put the credit into a special holding account without notifying usWhen we found out about this, we asked if the credit would be applied to upcoming bills, and were told No We then asked what the credit would be used for, we were told it would not be used unless we contacted them and specifically asked for a refund In other words, they will keep your money indefinitely unless you specifically contact them and direct them to issue a refund
I believe that Godaddy is not an ethical business
