I spoke with Chad Saturday May 7, around noon eastern time because my email expired without my knowledgeThis email is imperative to my businessI was told by Chad that "you want me to go over and beyond for you and I wouldn't do that for any other customer so I'm not going to do that for you"Chad also informed me that I am not taking any responsibility and spoke down on me telling me what he would have done if he didn't understand somethingI explained to him I understood differently from what the actual terms are because I am not tech or tech language savvy I am also dyslexic which makes it challenging for me to read and understand things that are unfamiliar to me
That low level of customer service after years of my business is my concern
Godaddy is persistently sending SPAM, unsolicited, unwanted, junk, sometimes offensive e-mails All originate at Godaddy.com URLs and have responses at "sable.godaddy.com" The sending URLs are in the form of "*** and vary slightly each time But all originate not on a hosted registered domain, but on GoDaddy's direct domains - i.ecoming from GoDaddy All are addressed to a domain that I am the administrator for, all are addressed to a mail address that was scraped from a web site this has been going on for over six months, often several SPAMs per week sometimes per day
Complaints about each offending e-mail are sent to "[email protected]" with full headers; GoDaddy's online complaint form rejects any complaints that have a godaddy.com URL Calls to their support line has not met with success in getting the offensive e-mails stopped
Proper protocol is NOT to click on a SPAMs link for removal, but to complain to the ISP...in this case GoDaddy is both
Let me start by noting that neither I nor my business has ever had to resort to Revdex.com for a complaintAs a small business owner, I know that products and services can sometimes fall short of the intended standardsHowever, I have tried for months to resolve this without a satisfactory result and most recently was insulted with an offer that appears to be an effort to simply make me go awayI want to protect other businesses from spending their time and money on this service

I cancelled auto renew 5/16/
Was STILL charged $on June 17'
They tell me I had to wait hours for everything to take effect
They give me a reference number and I call backNo help whatsoeverThey tell me that the time since the transaction took place has been too long and a refund is no longer possible
Very disappointed and will never again use godaddy to host a website again
This company kept my credit card information and automatically used it (charging me) for a service I transferred over to another partyThis went on for yearsEven after my credit card expired, they had the bank automatically renew the credit card without my knowledge
I never received renewal notices, I never received information because I had transferred to account to someone else
In speaking to the company, they say there is "NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT." They say they have a DAY CANCELLATION policyThey are not even willing to give me a credit with the company
A GoDaddy customer service rep called us to offer to renew our services for our commercial website The agent was extremely aggressive about asking for our sales numbers, how much our wholesale cost on products is, asking for our percent markup etc The agent also discussed other peoples businesses with us We found this to be an extremely unprofessional conversion as none of these questions were relevant to the conversation or the products offeredWe certainly may be incorrect in our assumption but it seemed very much like the agent was trying to extract private and sensitive information for his own, or a friends personal gain
We will no longer host through GoDaddy after speaking with this agent
It is nearly impossible to figure out what I am paying for the products that I am buying The prices for each product are not listed clearly and easy to understand I can not prove to myself what I am paying for a domain It does not show a list of my product and what I am paying for them

We had Go Daddy build us a website and it was non-responsive We asked them to convert our existing website to a platform that was more responsive and they agreed to convert our existing website as is for a set price They then called back over a series of months and up the price on separate occasions They took our money and now they want to build a page website instead of the pages they agreed to
GoDaddy autorenewed a URL I ownedWithin hours of getting the auto-renewal I opened a customer service ticket telling them that I was not interested in owning the URL and to refund me in the full amountHowever, since the URL ended in '.CO' according to GoDaddy policy they cannot offer ANY refunds for auto-renewals
I argued with the customer service rep for ~hour on this topic to no avail
So then I deleted the URL entirely from my account hoping that would move them alongStill nothing
GoDaddy is a scam - as soon as you buy a URL they turn on auto-renew and will charge you 10x the original price of the URL and then refuse to refund you
I received an auto-renew bill via emailOnce I saw the bill, within a week, I called GoDaddy to cancel serviceI never authorized the charging of my credit card and did not receive notifications prior to that pointI was told they could only refund about 10% of the services because that's how they operate their contractsAgain, never authorizing a renewal of services and with no notifications, I was billed and they said they were not able to refund charges
I would like to receive a refundI will not be utilizing their services going forward and will no longer be referring them to friends and family
