I cancelled auto renew 5/16/
Was STILL charged $on June 17'
They tell me I had to wait hours for everything to take effect
They give me a reference number and I call backNo help whatsoeverThey tell me that the time since the transaction took place has been too long and a refund is no longer possible
Very disappointed and will never again use godaddy to host a website again

Let me start by noting that neither I nor my business has ever had to resort to Revdex.com for a complaintAs a small business owner, I know that products and services can sometimes fall short of the intended standardsHowever, I have tried for months to resolve this without a satisfactory result and most recently was insulted with an offer that appears to be an effort to simply make me go awayI want to protect other businesses from spending their time and money on this service
My law firm purchased WordPress web design services from GoDaddy on 10/13/I was quoted a 6-week delivery processThe initial setup took a few weeks because their emails were being delivered to my spam boxI never realized they were waiting for anything from me until I called to check statusFinally, on 12/22/17, they started the buildoutThey promised delivery of the draft on 1/3/but it didn't get delivered until 1/4/Not a huge deal
However, the draft site looked horrible! It did not inco

GoDaddy autorenewed a URL I ownedWithin hours of getting the auto-renewal I opened a customer service ticket telling them that I was not interested in owning the URL and to refund me in the full amountHowever, since the URL ended in '.CO' according to GoDaddy policy they cannot offer ANY refunds for auto-renewals
I argued with the customer service rep for ~hour on this topic to no avail
So then I deleted the URL entirely from my account hoping that would move them alongStill nothing
GoDaddy is a scam - as soon as you buy a URL they turn on auto-renew and will charge you 10x the original price of the URL and then refuse to refund you

I paid Go Daddy $to increase my company's appearance on search engines (SEO)I received nothing in return except for a less than five minute call once a month and a short email claiming that the search terms they picked had climbed the online listsThis is not trueEvery time I tried to look up my company's website it was either not to be found or much lower on the list than Go Daddy had told meAfter two months, I complained about the lack of results and was assured that much better results were forth coming soon
I have not had a single sale of my product on the website (***) that Go Daddy did SEO for allegedlyMy same product sells briskly on the *** *** *** *** website
When I spoke to Mikela in SEO on 11/5/18, she told me there are no refundsShe told me, "SEO is something we recommend to a more established businessThe salesmen won't tell you that because they want the business." That is deceptionMikela next suggested I try another sal

I was given a product/service at a discount years ago that was set to renew at a later date I was not made aware at the time of purchase that the only way I could cancel this service was if I upload my picture of a government ID/ driver's license for Godaddy to view Godaddy is collecting information about people in a deceptive way in this manner I forbid Godaddy to keep a copy of my picture and ID I demand Godaddy refund my money for Domain Ownership Protection Renewal for all domains I demand Godaddy delete any and all copies of my picture and ID I called to have this service taken off I unchecked the box for this service at time of renewal It appeared to go through correctly when I clicked the buy button I was still billed for the service because the service requires submission of photo ID to cancel This means once someone signs up for this service they can never cancel their domain name and must always pay year after year until after they give Godaddy a copy of t

I had no idea that there was a problem with a billing issue on my account and I was not once contacted, instead the company sent the problem right to a collection agencyI plan to get rid of all my domain names and products with this company and move them elsewhereYou lost my business and I will do everything in my power to make sure anyone I know never does business with this company either

On 08/31/I purchased the domain name wholesomeliving.com for $5,and registered it with ***On 10/24/I moved the domain registration to GoDaddySince it was an expensive domain, I've been renewing it with them diligentlyDue to an oversight, I failed to renew in time, and it was set to cancel on 12/13/Luckily I found out about the cancellation on 01/07/Since I was aware that there is a 30/day redemption grace period, I quickly logged into my online account with GoDaddy and attempted to renew itHowever, I was unable to do so, because I did not see the domain in question, neither a history nor any record of it, so that I could select it for renewalImmediately I called GoDaddy on the same day (01/07/18) and explained my situationThe gentleman I spoke to turned me away because he could not find the domain in my accountHe said all he could see that it was being "auctioned" and suggested that I buy it from the auctionWhen I said I don't want to buy a d

Godaddy has asked me to pay $to renew my web domainThe agreement I made a year wgo when purchasing tis domain was a renewal price of $and they are not honoring this price nowThey lied to me and are completely being unfairI argued with them yesterday on the phone and they would not honor the original price that I agreed onAlso, I noticed that my account is unable to use coupon codes, but collegues of mine are able to use the same coupon codesWhich means, they have blocked my account from being able to use coupon codesThey claim that the did not block my account from using coupon codes but I have read complaints online of them doing the same thing to other customersI am unhappy and would like to renew my web domain capitalecreative.com at the $price that I agreed onThis is going to hurt my business because ym web domain and online prescence is now I jeopardy

Godaddy is persistently sending SPAM, unsolicited, unwanted, junk, sometimes offensive e-mails All originate at Godaddy.com URLs and have responses at "sable.godaddy.com" The sending URLs are in the form of "*** and vary slightly each time But all originate not on a hosted registered domain, but on GoDaddy's direct domains - i.ecoming from GoDaddy All are addressed to a domain that I am the administrator for, all are addressed to a mail address that was scraped from a web site this has been going on for over six months, often several SPAMs per week sometimes per day
Complaints about each offending e-mail are sent to "[email protected]" with full headers; GoDaddy's online complaint form rejects any complaints that have a godaddy.com URL Calls to their support line has not met with success in getting the offensive e-mails stopped
Proper protocol is NOT to click on a SPAMs link for removal, but to complain to the ISP...in this case GoDaddy is both

I ordered a website data restore and was told it would happen and was given wrong info as to how many days it backs up the data and was the restore was for a time that was too late from the date that they told me would happen

I have domains registered with GoDaddyI’ve added and removed several bank accounts over the yearsThis time when I closed a bank account they still tried to charge that accountThen after the payment failed because the account was closed I was immediately sent to collectionsI called GoDaddy and said, hey I have lots of accounts with you what’s going onThey said, it’s not us it’s our payment provider and you’ll have to follow up with them and pay he $feeThey said they are not responsible for their payment processorThat in itself if ridiculousI run companies that process payments and I’ve never nor would I ever tell a customer I’m not responsible for the payment processor I choseI never went to a third part website to setup my payment method, I did that on GoDaddyIt’s blows my mind they don’t support the payment processor they choseLike I said, I’ve open and closed several accounts and never run into this issue with any other companyIf they can’t charge my ac

We have had a domain name website and E-mail addresses with Go Daddy for over years and my E-mail ([email protected]) address has been compromised and after calling in numerous times and having to wait a long time to speak to someone about me having to change my E-mail password every day and was told that I had malware on my computer however: Geek Squad diagnosed my computer for over hours and did not find a virus and or malware I do not understand why after all these years my E-mail address is being compromised my thought was having to pay Go Daddy for the Domain Name, Hosting and E-mail addresses this Service Disable Veteran Owned Business MFG Reps would be protected from this kind of spoofing based on my computer does not have a Virus and or Malware the money is paid to Go Daddy for provided services that are now compromised

This company kept my credit card information and automatically used it (charging me) for a service I transferred over to another partyThis went on for yearsEven after my credit card expired, they had the bank automatically renew the credit card without my knowledge
I never received renewal notices, I never received information because I had transferred to account to someone else
In speaking to the company, they say there is "NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT." They say they have a DAY CANCELLATION policyThey are not even willing to give me a credit with the company

I was charged $for an annual service I disputed through my bank and because my bank sent the chargeback dispute through as fraud, my service was cancelled at godaddy and no refund provided godaddy now has all of my money for services that will not be provided

I registered a domain with GoDaddy on 12/1/and since then, the domain has been stuck pending updateI am unable to use the domain even though I paid for it
I have contacted GoDaddy every day since the registration to try and resolve this issue, but the support reps have been unable to help, simply giving me new ticket numbers each timeThey refuse to release the domain and let me take it elsewhereThey also refuse to push the change throughI am stuck with no where else to turn since the company is unwilling to help me or work with me in any way
These changes have been escalated every time I called in to the "advanced support team." The advanced support team is this mythical group that I cannot contact and has not responded to any of the ticketsI have the follow tickets opened with the advanced support team:
Despite having three tickets, no one has assisted me in any way

I spoke with Chad Saturday May 7, around noon eastern time because my email expired without my knowledgeThis email is imperative to my businessI was told by Chad that "you want me to go over and beyond for you and I wouldn't do that for any other customer so I'm not going to do that for you"Chad also informed me that I am not taking any responsibility and spoke down on me telling me what he would have done if he didn't understand somethingI explained to him I understood differently from what the actual terms are because I am not tech or tech language savvy I am also dyslexic which makes it challenging for me to read and understand things that are unfamiliar to me
That low level of customer service after years of my business is my concern

I purchased an economy hosting plan through them a couple of months agoLast month I decided to upgrade to the Ultimate hosting planOne of the selling points to the Ultimate plan, and the MAIN reason I upgraded to it was the fact that they offer year FREE SSLToday I was trying to set up my SSL and was having problemsI contacted them for assistance and now they are trying to charge me for the SSLThey are telling me that it is not available to me because I upgraded to the Ultimate plan rather than purchasing it upfrontThere is nothing on the advertisement on the homepage saying that it's not included through an upgradeand when I was doing the upgrade nobody told me that I would not be receiving the SSLThey are saying that I won't get it now because I upgraded rather than made an upfront purchasebut their site lead me to believe that it was included in the ULTIMATE PLAN

I was told by a go daddy rep I was able to get a credit to my account
days later they sent me a email saying to refund or credit was available

A GoDaddy customer service rep called us to offer to renew our services for our commercial website The agent was extremely aggressive about asking for our sales numbers, how much our wholesale cost on products is, asking for our percent markup etc The agent also discussed other peoples businesses with us We found this to be an extremely unprofessional conversion as none of these questions were relevant to the conversation or the products offeredWe certainly may be incorrect in our assumption but it seemed very much like the agent was trying to extract private and sensitive information for his own, or a friends personal gain
We will no longer host through GoDaddy after speaking with this agent

It is nearly impossible to figure out what I am paying for the products that I am buying The prices for each product are not listed clearly and easy to understand I can not prove to myself what I am paying for a domain It does not show a list of my product and what I am paying for them
They are deliberatly making it as difficult as they can for me to know just what I am paying for what It makes it easy for them to bill for products that I dont need THey did bill me for "online bookeeping" when I did not order it When looking at the exported statement they do not include the item title in that export so I dont know how to see whats what Then their other receipts do not show how long the term is it could be a month or could be a year it just says term Godaddy used to show what I was paying for everything on the products page Now I need to chase it down by number Godaddy also bills by the month but when it renews it is no longer by the month an
