On October 25, 2016, I made a Domain Backorder Auction purchase of $to have first bid on an expired domain name GoDaddy would automatically make a $bid on my behalf, but there was no specific date of when the auction would take place GoDaddy did send me email updates, leading up to the auction On Oct30th, I received an update that the domain name servers had been changed from NSand NSSedoParking.com to Nand NDomainControl.com On Oct31st, the update said the domain name servers changed from Nand NDomainControl.com to NSand NSSedoParking.com! On Nov6th, there was a Old Client Delete, Renew, Transfer and Update Prohibited and New Client Delete, Transfer, Update Prohibited On Nov19th, I was notified that the domain name I backordered, was now listed for Auction at GoDaddy.com The email stated that my bid was made and I would be notified, if I were outbid On November 29th at 12:pm EST, I was notified by email, that I had been outbid and ha
Dear Revdex.com, I know you won't understand what I'm trying to show you or say to you but this complaint is very importantYou have given Godaddy an A+ when Godaddy has only 4% positive reviews and over 90% negativeI just don't understand thatHowever, I wanted to file a complaint on Godaddy because Godaddy has highly unethical, very questionable business practices that are very misleading, deceptive and predatoryToday I awoke to find my personal address and cell phone number listed prominently on Google and Yahoo with all of my Godaddy domainsThese domains did not have privacy registration true enough but I know that Godaddy sold my information or partnered with this site to display my most personal informationGodaddy makes a handsome profit off of the selling of privacy registrationGodaddy stands to financially benefit by the selling of this serviceI have domains with several competitors of Godaddy that also do not have privacy registration but these domains weren't featured
I have purchased a hosting plan from Godaddy and use the Cpanel emails
Every now and then I get a problem with the emails and they stop workingWhen I call support for this they check the problem and come back with a standard reply, that this problems happens, you should buy our paid email service
This has happened to me four times and every time its exactly the same thing thats repeated
They try to upsell you instead of solving your problem
The worst thing is that after saying there is a delay in the emails, and the server has a problem they are able to literary get my email flowing immediately, like they have a switch that they flip and the email flowHowever they want you to contact them so that they can pitch you the paid email service
When I confronted them about this, the support rep told me there was a delay of over 24k email on my server and the emailAnd that the emails are not going through since last days
However as soon as I contacted them somehow the delay on the server immediately melts away and my email came through
I asked them about the up selling and they rep very confidently told me that offering a paid service was the only option he could provide me, apart from that he will put in a request for the system admin to look into it
I asked if I could put in a complaint and they said they dont have a complaint system , so I cannot put in a request to review the behavior of the rep
I asked to speak with the supervisor, and he confirmed they did not have a complaint system
I have made up my mind to move away from godaddy for goodWill not be renewing any of the products with them
Very disappointed
GoDaddy has been awful to work with and their customer service is very poor We paid Go Daddy $3,on 03/12/ to create a website and we need it as soon as possibleThey promised that they will take about days to create and an additional couple of days for correctionsSo total daysAll files were uploaded from our side on 3/13/On 4/12/ After almost days we spoke with the manager about the bad service so the manager promised that the next morning a designer will contact us to finish the projectNobody called us the next dayWe are tired of calling them almost every day to speed up their workWe will find another company who cares about customer satisfaction
GoDaddy continues to charge domain renewal on my credit despite I have requested to turn off all automatic renewalsIt happened in when their customer service assured it wouldn't happen again and now happened againThis time they wouldn't issue a refund this time because I caught it after days
Due to their system and platform failure, as well being unable to get any assistance online or by phone (PLaced on hold for over two hours), a domain name renewal had to be done twice; since the first transaction did not show up as completed, there was no e-mail confirmation, and the domain name still showed with the same expiration date, as not renewedIn order for me to avoid any additional charges for renewing after the expiration date, or running the risk of loosing the domain name - *** , I had to do the same transaction, again; which ended up in renewing the domain name twice, for two years, and not just for one year; same as I renew every single domain name, year by yearI explained them the situation, why it ended up in being renewid twice, and for which I requested the refund for one year; and thhey declined to do the refundAs I said, this was in result of their system and platform failure, for me being unable to reach an agent or get any assistance and way
GoDaddy failed to notify me properly about cessation of hosting activities, they "wiped" my business website without my knowledge and consent and did not retain a back up copy or ability to restore it As a result, I had to completely recreate my website, which took hours of my time, full payment to the webdesigner to re-create it and months of time without a website and no ability for potential customers to access same They sent one e-mail (that I can locate) to an old e-mail address notifying of website-builder renewal (no mention of hosting associated with this service) and never called to find out why my auto-renew was not working My credit card was stolen and I had to re-issue with new number My fees were prepaid with GoDaddy so I did not realize that this was one of the vendors I had not called with the ccard new number If they are hosting my website, they can simply look at the website and get all the new contact info if they are trying at all to locate me I beli

I canceled my service with GoDaddy in July and on August GoDaddy tried to bill my credit cardFortunately, that credit had already been canceled
What I will to alert the Revdex.com is that there have been numerous complaints against GoDaddy for its habit of attempting to charge the credit cards of consumers AFTER they have canceled their service
When I called GoDaddy to complain, they informed me that they tried to charge my credit card because "I must have not canceled my account correctly."
What is there about "CANCEL MY ACCOUNT" is so unclear ?
In April of I purchased a website redesign package from GoDaddy.com for $plus tax After months of back and forth with the "design team" I was unhappy with the process and results that I got I had called GoDaddy.com to ask for a refund and to take my business elsewhere at some point in June
On that call they requested one more shot to try and make it right I gave them that shot to get the site designed right They tried again, and I was still very unhappy with the result I went ahead and had them publish the site as is however since I already had lined up another designer to go in and change the design, and needed to get a site up that at least had relevant and accurate content While I was unhappy with the design, the content I did have control over vsmy prior site, this is why I went ahead and had the site published even though I was not happy

IN May hours after being charged a fee, I called go daddy and canceled my orderThey told me not to worry and I would not be charged againOn May 15th of I was charged again , I called them around may 20th and they told me not to worry that they would refund me the moneyNo refund ever cameso on 06/01/I filed a dispute with my Credit card company and they initailly gave me a refund, then Godaddy won the dispute and I got re-billed the $I spoke with a Brandon at Go daddy and he told me they would give me a refund after days, On August , they said that they would not give a refund ever
I just want my money backI never used there service nor did I ever want it
I have a few domains and hosting service with Godaddy for many yearsSince a couple of years, their service has been sucking so badly and their Phillipines customer service is treating us horribly
Yesterday, I asked to cancel my service and the Rep promptly didI then asked casually, when can I expect my prorated refundFor that, she replied"What refund? we dont give refund after days"I was taken aback but asked to reinstate my hosting service as there is no point in cancelling if I don't get my money backTo my horror, she replied "I cannot do thatYou will have to repurchase it"
This is the way they are treating US customers She could have atleast warned me that If I cancel, they cannot reinstate and also, no refundIt's the least thing you would expect, right?
All I ask is, if you don't want to give a refund, atleast give me my product backIsn't this unfair?
