I canceled my service with GoDaddy in July and on August GoDaddy tried to bill my credit cardFortunately, that credit had already been canceled
What I will to alert the Revdex.com is that there have been numerous complaints against GoDaddy for its habit of attempting to charge the credit cards of consumers AFTER they have canceled their service
When I called GoDaddy to complain, they informed me that they tried to charge my credit card because "I must have not canceled my account correctly."
What is there about "CANCEL MY ACCOUNT" is so unclear ?

I would give zero stars, if possible I was charged $for a 5-year renewal of my website platform I called to see what options I had because I was not currently using the website; but I wanted to keep it for future use Their customer service agent suggested a cheaper platform ($for years), but said I had to move all my information over The agent suggested I go month-to-month on the old platform until I got my data moved over; but he also advised not to use their auto renew function because it would auto renew for years, not month-to-month (This little glitch in their system will subsequently cost me dearly.) He set up an appointment for several days later to help me move my website over to their new platform He never called I had no way to contact him directly So, I paid someone else to help me and he could never find my website on the old platform to move it over
I now need the website and called in to get assistance moving my data over I was told the account was canceled after month and the website was deleted GONE I forgot that I was advised not to put it on auto-renewal and assumed it was on auto-renewal Okay, I accept responsibility for all that, even though the agent is also at fault for not calling me on the scheduled appointment I asked for a refund of the $because I no longer needed the platform They said no refunds after days and it was beyond days I asked for contact info for someone I could escalate my complaint to and they said no $is a rounding error on any given day for a company the size of GoDaddy and this is the way they treat a loyal customer who's paid them thousands of dollars over the years? I have purchased a hosting plan from Godaddy and use the Cpanel emails
Every now and then I get a problem with the emails and they stop workingWhen I call support for this they check the problem and come back with a standard reply, that this problems happens, you should buy our paid email service
This has happened to me four times and every time its exactly the same thing thats repeated
They try to upsell you instead of solving your problem
The worst thing is that after saying there is a delay in the emails, and the server has a problem they are able to literary get my email flowing immediately, like they have a switch that they flip and the email flowHowever they want you to contact them so that they can pitch you the paid email service
When I confronted them about this, the support rep told me there was a delay of over 24k email on my server and the emailAnd that the emails are not going through since last days
However as soon as I contacted them somehow the delay on the server immediately melts away and my email came through
I asked them about the up selling and they rep very confidently told me that offering a paid service was the only option he could provide me, apart from that he will put in a request for the system admin to look into it
I asked if I could put in a complaint and they said they dont have a complaint system , so I cannot put in a request to review the behavior of the rep
I asked to speak with the supervisor, and he confirmed they did not have a complaint system
I have made up my mind to move away from godaddy for goodWill not be renewing any of the products with them
Very disappointed
