They give me a reference number and I call backNo help whatsoeverThey tell me that the time since the transaction took place has been too long and a refund is no longer possible
Very disappointed and will never again use godaddy to host a website again
Hello, I have been with GoDaddy for good several years until April 28, Late January 2016, GoDaddy did an automatic renew for my website With a product that I did not use because it was not user friendly and was never told that was going to be new thing to use on GoDaddy's website Recently I found out the website builder I was using was being replaced with not user friendly website builder
After month trying figure out the new website builder and finding out one of features it did not have that I used in old website builder Plus they put cap on storage even though I paid for better storage for my website Everytime I ask for help from GoDaddy, I did not get no help at all I tried making my website look good but just ran into issues and program errors I gave up and took some people recommendation on another website company and moved my website to them
When I found out the transfer was completed, I called GoDaddy to let them know to cancel my account and for
The website that I purchased through GoDaddy constantly has problems Design elements do not work, and they change without me doing anything This results in my website not being professional looking across platforms (e.g., Internet Explorer, Chrome, and cell phones) GoDaddy tells me that when this happens, they have no interim solution, i.e., I just have to wait for them to try to fix things while my website continues to be held out to the public in an unreadable and unprofessional way I have also had to spend hours on the phone dealing with these issues I get inconsistent feedback from different representatives, and even escalating to a manager doesn't get me anywhere In the end, they simply force my business to suffer by being held out to the public in an unprofessional way Their website builder product is junk, and the sale of junk products is consumer fraud in Arizona where I live
I got another charge for something I don't have with them anymore, last year I use Revdex.com.org to make a complaint about this issue, we solve the issue and I ask to stop charging me this because I don't have a account with them no moreThey approve all this last year and today this is happening again, I look at my bank account and see a charge for godaddy.com (DNH*GODADDY.COM *** ***)
When calling customer support it states "We will be with you shortly" It is never short, I call every week and the same story, no one available, what a crockDone business with this company for over years, WASTE OF F TIME nowSlowly closing my accounts, complete BSNo one ever available
Four days ago, my website domain name '***' was transferred out of the account '***' to anther account
I received an email which at the bottom stated 'If you would like to reverse these changes, please email [email protected]'
Within hours, I sent an email to [email protected] informing them that I would like to reverse these changes, and I want the domain sent back to the old account '***'
The following day, I received a canned response from the GoDaddy undo department, advising me that 'It appears you entered into a third party agreement regarding the domain name(s), and nothing could be done furtherTHIS IS FALSE I never mentioned anything about a third party agreement so they just made this up per their canned response - probably pasting this message to every single email

I went to renew my domain name and I was informed by Carter that it had expired last monthHe then quoted a price of $to renew the domain nameI explained to him that I did not receive a renewal notice and he said that email had gone outI explained that I renewed my web hosting because I received an email to renew but no renewal for the domain nameI then asked to speak to a supervisor and Carter said it would be useless and that the fee was $Carter then came back from speaking to his supervisor and they offered a percent discount on the renewalI replied that was ridiculous and I want to pay my renewal of $I asked to speak to the supervisor and I was transferred to JeffJeff explained that there was nothing he could do and that if I didn't receive the renewal email, that is not his problemI asked him if he was willing to lose a customer and he said yes, there is nothing he can do

I've been with GoDaddy for over a year nowThey were okay at first when I have basically zero traffic to my sitesI made the mistake of paying for my hosting in advance - big mistake - my sites are continuously down and unable to reachI called trying to get a refund so I could go to a competent hosting company and they refused, despite their services rarely working and being extrememly sub-par when they do workI'd stay away from GoDaddy and only use them for domain purchases if you use them at allThere are many other great hosting companies available for even cheaper than what these cretins are chargingI'll never say another nice thing about GoDaddy and cant wait until May when I can finally get out of this hosting deal

This year was much worseFirstly they only send emails to tell you to renewNo phone calls, and no letter in the mail
Secondly they allowed the services to continue as if nothing was wrong after the domain expiredI had no clue that the domain expired because they allowed me to use it for almost days after it expired! If they would have shut it down at the expiration date I would have known something was wrongAfter days of expiration it goes into redemptionThen was sold days later to a domain squatter who is now trying to extort money from me

GoDaddy – Worst Registrar Who Will Nickel & Dime You Relentlessly!
After being a GoDaddy member for approximately years, I finally realized how chintzy and arrogant their attitude is towards long-term customers and probably short-term ones as well!
Back in the February/March time frame, I made various purchases (5-year web hosting, 3-year SSL certificate, Site Lock, etc.) in anticipation of leveraging GoDaddy as a web hosting provider for my website Needless to say, the performance experienced on the web hosting was nearly non-responsive with extremely inferior technical support Responses included “we are aware of the problem and looking into it.” As a result, I found a much more reliable hosting provider, which is also one of GoDaddy's competitors However, during the amount of time which was necessary to successfully transition all the capabilities to the new provider, I apparently canceled my services slightly beyond the 45-day window After explaining how it was no fault of my own for the extremely poor quality of service and necessity to ensure proper migration to new provider, I requested a full refund for services not utilized After speaking with various unsympathetic persons including individuals from the Billing Department, I was tritely told it would be necessary to attain an in-store credit rather than refund for the approximately $amount remaining from the prorated refund earlier this calendar year I continue to find this extremely unacceptable as GoDaddy showed no attempt to fix my technical nor billing problems, which took more than days Apparently, their only concern was “bleeding me for another $600” rather than providing a refund of my money Shortly thereafter, I moved web hosting for my domain to a much more reliable provider Moreover, was advised to send correspondence to GoDaddy CEO via blakesblog.com website Not surprisingly, no response whatsoever was received!
More recently, paid GoDaddy $for a year of auction membership on their website For some unknown reason, I was continually redirected to 'My Products' page rather than auctions After two phone calls to technical support, was informed my account was suspended for not purchasing a prior domain name Explained I had no knowledge of such a transaction and asked why I was not informed of such action Thereafter, a billing supervisor stated we can restore your access for $ Subsequently, told him I was tired of being “nickeled-and-dimed” by GoDaddy, particularly as a long-time customer who obviously spent much money over the years with their company
Bottom line, GoDaddy could care less about its customer as attaining the almighty dollar is all they care about! Would definitely tell others to avoid at all costs!
I contacted GoDaddy on 4/26/The entire experience took over hours and dealt with some of the rudest employees possibleIt turns out I have been paying GoDaddy for services, every year, that apparently I haven't usedI paid for both a domain and hostingThis year, unfortunately I did not react in time to the renewal which turns out to be a blessingI was instructed, several years ago, by a GoDaddy employee to use Wix or Weebly to create a website due to their user friendlinessThe long story short is that apparently while I have NOT been paying Wix or Weebly, they have been "hosting" our website for freeI have been paying GoDaddyNow, that I could have accepted however in trying to get someone to help me, I was constantly encountering your call center employees who were incredibly rudeI spoke with Eric who was GREAT but it looks like he didn't know what he was doingI then called back and got Garrett who was AWFUL, didn't understand what I was trying to tell himI aske
I have been a GoDaddy customer years and just a few days ago was told that my website that I host with them was infected with malware--SURPRISE they offer a new service that supposedly removes the malware and protects against future attacks Three or four days and many tech support phone calls later--my word press files are GONE and I can no longer get into my hosting site to perform administrative duties, but they have ANOTHER premium service they can offer me to totally take care of the problem
They previously worked with me to get into my dashboard to at least deactivate some of my plug-ins but today and for the fourth time I am having the same technical issue
I believe THEY infected my sight to sell me the new service
I believe THEY are causing the issues that I continue to have as a result of purchasing these new products
They say that the malware caused the issue, but now---I don't believe that!
They never offer solutions for their so-called tech-sup

Upon using Godaddy's app for my website domain name renewal, the app caused a pop up that had a confirm payment button right where I was clicking to adjust the length of renewal termI tried to cancel this renewal, and received a confirmation that the renewal was canceledI then purchased the correct length of time of year on each domain and resubmitted my renewalThe prior renewal was never canceled and I was billed twiceUpon discussing this with their customer service, I was told they would only cancel everything and give me a full refund, but that I would lose my domain namesAll I wanted was to cancel the accidental payment caused by their app's pop up payment button, but they were unwilling to cancel the extra renewal onlyI would like the $additional charge refunded and my year domain name renewal to remain for the $purchase
This is horrible! I ordered a domain name on line It came with a free Ownership protection plan When I realized it cost close to $to renew, they told me that I was outside the day period and that they would not refund my money even though they have a step authentication process and you have to call back after hours It was the holidays and I did not call within the hour period and they would not refund my money for the, "Ownership Protection" This is how they scam their customers It is horrible! Terrible customer service, I was on hold for an hour!
