GoDaddy.com gave out my contact information including email address and phone number to people or organizations that scam/spamI created a new email address and got a new phone specifically for my business, I had each sitting unused for around a month prior to registering a domain through GoDaddyAs soon as I registered my domain I began getting automated calls purporting to be the IRS, getting calls about registering my domain for SEO, calls about building a websiteAlong with these my otherwise empty inbox began receiving numerous unsolicited spam emails

I was charged $for a service I never used or signed up forWhen I called Godaddy to have the charge removed they told me that they had a two day!! cancellation policy on features they offer for trial and because I called two weeks later I would not receive a refundThe customer service was very bad and the manager was rudeI want my refund because I did not sign up for the service and never used itI only called two weeks later because I saw it on my credit card statement

I purchased a service from GoDaddy that did not work correctlyNot only was I paying for a service that I could not use, I also lost out on consulting contracts because of this issueI have asked for my money to be returned to me yet no one can seem to tell me who I should speak to and no one is calling me back to correct the issue

I've been with GoDaddy for over a year nowThey were okay at first when I have basically zero traffic to my sitesI made the mistake of paying for my hosting in advance - big mistake - my sites are continuously down and unable to reachI called trying to get a refund so I could go to a competent hosting company and they refused, despite their services rarely working and being extrememly sub-par when they do workI'd stay away from GoDaddy and only use them for domain purchases if you use them at allThere are many other great hosting companies available for even cheaper than what these cretins are chargingI'll never say another nice thing about GoDaddy and cant wait until May when I can finally get out of this hosting deal

Godaddy sent me an email to renew my URLat $per year(***) (Renew Now button) I pushed the button and the price went to $(Bait and Switch) I called Godaddy and they said I must renew for years and pay a privacy fee of $ In September I found that Godaddy had leaked my private email, phone and address to the internet I checked their privacy statement and there is no mention of a fee I called them times and send an email and a letter and have not received a responseThe privacy fees are new and do not protect my privacy Godaddy did call last week for me to buy more products

In May of I purchased a different plan from GodaddyThe sales agent promised me that if I switched to this other plan, I would keep both my *** and *** email addressesBut when I switched to GoCentral website hosting, they deleted my *** without letting me know, without explaining that this email was attached to my shopping cartI asked them to restore it and they said if I paid over $
I asked them to honor the promises made by their sales agentSo I wrote this in Chat

They refuse to refund my money even now because they say it is past their cancellation periodThey want to charge me for a service I dont want and did not authorize and the service is for one yearSO how come they cannot refund my money if I have not used up year of their forced service? I want a total refund of everything they charged me asap

I am/was a customer of Go Daddy for years and recently decided to change companiesI was not getting all that I could be getting so I shopped around and made a decision to move away from Go Daddy and Go to WixI started this process in March of On April 13, 2016, I decided it was time to change over and so I stopped auto renew on my products at Go Daddy and purchased a premium account with WixI then wondered if I had to do anymore with Go Daddy directly and so in fear of doing the wrong thing, I talked to someone via CHAT and his name was WilliamHe told me that if I transferred and was going with the other company, I would not have to do anything else with Go Daddy nor pay them for anything and the new company would own the domain(I copied and pasted that chat session.) On April 27, 2016, I talked to Bryce (via chat and have that copied as well) and he informed me that my domain was in fact NOT transferred and that I needed to follow the procedures to get the privacy ca

Godaddy double charges, doesn't care they double charge, even flat denies double charging with a bank statementWon't give up the double charge and talks in circles over and over to keep from discussing giving me my money backWe are so done with this fraudulent company and will NEVER use them again

I tried to transfer a domains from godaddy to other registrar on on the same date as expiryAll domains had private registration optionsSucceeded on one of the domains, but another gave no option of removing the privacy, hence making me unable to transfer the domain to other registrarI reached out to the customer support both by phone and chatI was asked to fill out a form for manual processing of the privacy lock, at the same time I was given the option to renew the domain for another year (plus the privacy fee) or chance on losing the domain to other ownersI went on filling in the form and paying for the one year renewalOn I received a reply that the domain was NOT locked and that I should be able to remove the privacy optionUpon checking the website, no such option came upI contacted customer support by phone (for minutes international call) and finally got an escalation support ticket number that the problem needed up hours to be solvedI also req

I went to godaddy.com to purchase domain namesPrior to me making the purchase through the companyI called customer service an spoke to a gentlemen by the name of James, who great assisting me to make sure I understand what I am purchasing and what are some of the beneficial perks of add certain featuresOnce I got to the end to make my purchase there was an issueFor some reason, I was not able to complete my purchase order which at the time I was still on the phone with James from customer service who had access to account and was seeing the message I was givenJames then stated that there might be a problem which my banking account and give them a call to see if it is something on there endBefore ending the call I verified with James that once I call my bank to figure out what the issue is I can continue and pay $which was what I was quoted before continuing to complete my orderThe next day Feb9th I called my bank and my account was fine, so I proceed to finish mak

If I could rate GoDaddy as a I wouldThey are only helpful if they can charge you for advice, have rude customer service, and do not deliver on their products that you pay forI've been dealing with an SSL issue for two months now and have spent countless HOURS on the phone with them and given different "advice" each timeUltimately they will say it's out of their scope but can fix your problem for a feeDo yourself a favour & go with a different hosting company! These guys are nothing but an absolute headache & unethical in their business practices

I paid for site web developer pro where Godaddy said that the performance would be better and this has not been but has got extremely slow I am requesting a refund of th website pro WordPress package

GoDaddy – Worst Registrar Who Will Nickel & Dime You Relentlessly!
After being a GoDaddy member for approximately years, I finally realized how chintzy and arrogant their attitude is towards long-term customers and probably short-term ones as well!
Back in the February/March time frame, I made various purchases (5-year web hosting, 3-year SSL certificate, Site Lock, etc.) in anticipation of leveraging GoDaddy as a web hosting provider for my website Needless to say, the performance experienced on the web hosting was nearly non-responsive with extremely inferior technical support Responses included “we are aware of the problem and looking into it.” As a result, I found a much more reliable hosting provider, which is also one of GoDaddy's competitors However, during the amount of time which was necessary to successfully transition all the capabilities to the new provider, I apparently canceled my services slightly beyond the 45-day window After explaining how it was no fault of my own for the extremely poor quality of service and necessity to ensure proper migration to new provider, I requested a full refund for services not utilized After speaking with various unsympathetic persons including individuals from the Billing Department, I was tritely told it would be necessary to attain an in-store credit rather than refund for the approximately $amount remaining from the prorated refund earlier this calendar year I continue to find this extremely unacceptable as GoDaddy showed no attempt to fix my technical nor billing problems, which took more than days Apparently, their only concern was “bleeding me for another $600” rather than providing a refund of my money Shortly thereafter, I moved web hosting for my domain to a much more reliable provider Moreover, was advised to send correspondence to GoDaddy CEO via blakesblog.com website Not surprisingly, no response whatsoever was received!
More recently, paid GoDaddy $for a year of auction membership on their website For some unknown reason, I was continually redirected to 'My Products' page rather than auctions After two phone calls to technical support, was informed my account was suspended for not purchasing a prior domain name Explained I had no knowledge of such a transaction and asked why I was not informed of such action Thereafter, a billing supervisor stated we can restore your access for $ Subsequently, told him I was tired of being “nickeled-and-dimed” by GoDaddy, particularly as a long-time customer who obviously spent much money over the years with their company
Bottom line, GoDaddy could care less about its customer as attaining the almighty dollar is all they care about! Would definitely tell others to avoid at all costs!

Go daddy repon July sold me NEW web service for a year and with this change in my service they would switch me over as part of the dealweeks later I called to find out why it was not done, rep told me I have to do it
What!!! I have no idea how to do your jobI assumed if I did not use it I would get a refund, a refund for something I NEVER GOT TO USE! All this time I have been charged a month for the same serviceI just noticed on my account that I never received a refundwhen I called today to find out why I was told well too bad the service was in place for youso no refund or creditThey did not earn the

I've been with Go Daddy since They have gone downhill Big TimeThey have Very Poor Customer service the past few yearsThey have unethical business practices and sneaky pricing that they do not discloseI bought an SSL that would not appearAfter weeks I called and they said it was another $for them to install itWHY wasn't this disclosed upfront?? I would not recommend them and can hardly wait for my products to expire so I can go elsewhereAnd I'm seeing complaints regarding transferring domain namesI think a Class Action is in need here!

I have an issude with a domain registered with GodaddyI tried contacting their support several times through opening a support ticketI have not received any responseMy domain is my business and it has been unresponsive for several days

Go Daddy is hosting a website called '***" After looking up this business up on WhoIs ***, absolutely no infois provided in order to file a complaint with the appropriate Revdex.com regarding 'usa people search' This goes beyond any privacy service I have ever seen on WhoIs IC I have always seen at least a city, state, mailing address, masked e-mails for admin., tech and contact...something indicating where to go with the Revdex.com or State Attorney General complaint This is how both Go Daddy's infoappears on WhoIs *** appears (this format) and also the website about which I most specifically want to complain - 'usa ps.'(copy & paste from WhoIs follows...)

This is horrible! I ordered a domain name on line It came with a free Ownership protection plan When I realized it cost close to $to renew, they told me that I was outside the day period and that they would not refund my money even though they have a step authentication process and you have to call back after hours It was the holidays and I did not call within the hour period and they would not refund my money for the, "Ownership Protection" This is how they scam their customers It is horrible! Terrible customer service, I was on hold for an hour! Boomer is the person who told me to call back and supposedly the supervisor, "Hass" is the one who would not help me one bit even though my notes where in the system I was supposed to call back in December and did not until January I was actually going to transfer some other domain names to them, but not anymore

I have used godaddy for years and give them over $a year in businessRecently they called to bring to my attention that I have multiple SSL certificates on auto renew and have not been using them for yearsI explained that it was to my understanding in the Dashboard that 'expired' meant 'expired'I was corrected by the account rep who told me that this meant the SSL certificate was expired, not the billing and that emails were sent notifying billing would occur
I was extremely suprisedAn SSL certificate is not like hosting where you continue to have useable service without interaction so I requested a refund to those unused SSL certificateEventually having to make the request all the way to manage levelIt was dismissed as it was past day refund window I do not recall ever choosing Auto Renew on check outFor this I was told it is automatic and must be turned off after purchase
As a skilled web developer and IT professional I feel mislead in the purcha
