On 12/19/I ordered a domain name from Go Daddy from Web Site I copied and pasted the name I wanted from the face book page I already have "His Church are his People" I reviewed the email I received from Go Daddy and it had an 'S' at the end people since I copied and pasted I am not sure how that would happen but it was late so I made a note to call the next day I called and spoke to Grant and he corrected the mistake and then proceeded to sell me on a web hosting The service I had been looking at had free web site builder and unlimited email and gigs of space and unlimited bandwidth Grant assured me Go Daddy would match that and for a dollar a month cheaper He said if I did not like it I could cancel within business daysHe told me the builder was powerful and was just drag and drop well I bought it and paid for a year I went to my site to work on it and I found the website builder was not user friendly at all, and the first month was free then so much a mo
Having followed the instructions to remove SSL certification from my website...GoDaddy has failed to respond to me within hoursI have contacted customer service timesvia live chat...and via email...I followed the protocols designated within the privacy-removal instructions which included uploading a copy of my state issued drivers license
My goal has been to remove auto-renew...as I have parked my website....it appears that I will be billed anyway...there are countless complaints online of this practice from GoDaddy...I now believe the complaints!
Go Daddy business strategies are unethical, whatever written on their website is not offeredThe terms and conditions are not explainedCustomer support people are unresponsive, vizramond l

I am years old clients of Godaddy my cr is ***Unfortunately, over weeks ago while renewing some of products & upgrading the VPS a mistake took place when customer support asked to import the other websites existing sites from the cPanel that was about to expire on the 14th of MayThe mistake was that an empty folder was there and it did overwrite the laveranda folder on the VPS and there the disasterNot only my business website was gone but my e-mails and my staff e-mails were no longer functional
The customer support suggested a restore of a backup dated back to October As being the only option available since the company who developed the website was out of business for few months before I saw no reason why not going for itUnfortunately, I was not given all the details of the process and what it could involve nor had the full disclosure to think ofAs the restore commenced, the VPS is no longer accessible which is understood but for the e-ma
I was charged $renewal fee for an account I know I cancelled a long time agoI called them to settle the issue but they refused to refund the moneyThey sent me some link to get in and RE-CANCEL the account So what now? Are they going to take my money again next time and claim AGAIN that I didn't cancel the account? How many other people do they do this to ?
Godaddy is very misleadingGodaddy uses young ambitious entrepreneurs as preyI thought I was making all the right steps to building my professional website, that couldn't be further from the truthThey encouraged me to buy things that I didn't needTheir representatives misinformed me and led me down a path of wasting my money and still not having access to build my websiteThey are a legal scamNever will I do any business with Godaddy, I will encourage all of my associates to leave Godaddy if they haven't already been tricked into a year long deal with these crooks
GoDaddy placed a 60-day transfer hold on my domain name after a street address change
I contacted GoDaddy requesting removal of this lock, so that I can immediately transfer the domain to BlueHost
GoDaddy was contractually required to release this domain within calendar days according to the following ICANN regulations: ***
It has been calendar days, and I have not received a response, and the transfer lock remains
I have included the email in question below for reference

GoDaddy – Worst Registrar Who Will Nickel & Dime You Relentlessly!
After being a GoDaddy member for approximately years, I finally realized how chintzy and arrogant their attitude is towards long-term customers and probably short-term ones as well!
Back in the February/March time frame, I made various purchases (5-year web hosting, 3-year SSL certificate, Site Lock, etc.) in anticipation of leveraging GoDaddy as a web hosting provider for my website Needless to say, the performance experienced on the web hosting was nearly non-responsive with extremely inferior technical support Responses included “we are aware of the problem and looking into it.” As a result, I found a much more reliable hosting provider, which is also one of GoDaddy's competitors However, during the amount of time which was necessary to successfully transition all the capabilities to the new provider, I apparently canceled my services slightly beyond the 45-day window After explaining how it was no fault of my own for the extremely poor quality of service and necessity to ensure proper migration to new provider, I requested a full refund for services not utilized After speaking with various unsympathetic persons including individuals from the Billing Department, I was tritely told it would be necessary to attain an in-store credit rather than refund for the approximately $amount remaining from the prorated refund earlier this calendar year I continue to find this extremely unacceptable as GoDaddy showed no attempt to fix my technical nor billing problems, which took more than days Apparently, their only concern was “bleeding me for another $600” rather than providing a refund of my money Shortly thereafter, I moved web hosting for my domain to a much more reliable provider Moreover, was advised to send correspondence to GoDaddy CEO via blakesblog.com website Not surprisingly, no response whatsoever was received!
More recently, paid GoDaddy $for a year of auction membership on their website For some unknown reason, I was continually redirected to 'My Products' page rather than auctions After two phone calls to technical support, was informed my account was suspended for not purchasing a prior domain name Explained I had no knowledge of such a transaction and asked why I was not informed of such action Thereafter, a billing supervisor stated we can restore your access for $ Subsequently, told him I was tired of being “nickeled-and-dimed” by GoDaddy, particularly as a long-time customer who obviously spent much money over the years with their company
Bottom line, GoDaddy could care less about its customer as attaining the almighty dollar is all they care about! Would definitely tell others to avoid at all costs!
GoDaddy reversed an annual payment in the amount of $251, six weeks after the payment cleared our PayPal account and shut down our website at ***To make matters worse, they have been advertising Go Daddy services on this domain without paying the required $flat fee
They require everyone who creates an account to input their phone numberI received text messages from different phone numbers as well as multiple phone calls in a hour time frame while I was in an important business meetingThey all wanted my business in some form of website related wayI asked all of them who had given them my number and one person actually disclosed my presumption which was that it was godaddyThey texted me quote "your phone number came from godaddy and they said you wanted to be contacted." Quite the oppositeI never wanted them to nor gave them permission to give out my personal cell phone numberPlease do not let this go on without repercussion
I have attempted on at least different occasions to cancel my subscription with Go DaddyI created the domain of standfit.co, and never did anything with the site Go Daddy has continued charging me for this domain on an auto renewal basis, even though I didn't authorize these charges to include submitting a formal request in writing for them to cancel my accountI was in Brazil when I created the domain and am now in the U.Swhere I no longer have access to my Brazil cell phone number to complete the two-step verification processI submitted a request to Go Daddy to cancel my two-step verification by completing the forms they requested and providing my ID and they still have not canceled my account or the two-step verification process to grant me access to my accountGo Daddy has continued charging me more than the agreed upon amount and my bank account is overdrawn $250+ as a resultThere is currently another owner for my domain which indicates my domain expiredSo if i'm n
IN APRIL OF I SPOKE TO A CUSTOMER SERVICE MEMBER AND ASKED THEM TO REMOVE ME FROM BILLING AND ALL EMAILS AND TO CANCEL MY ACCOUNT COMPLETELY....I WAS ASSURED THAT THIS WOULD HAPPEN...SINCE THEN THEY CONTINUE TO BILL ME ...THEY BILLED ME IN SEPTAND NOW ON APRIL 2ND....I DO NOT GET EMAILS....BUT WHEN I CHECK MY BANK ACCOUNT THEY JUST TAKE OUT MONEY THEY REFUSE TO STOP BILLING AND CLAIM THAT THEY DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT CANCELING ACCOUNT THEY WILL NOT TAKE EMAILS....ONLY PHONE CALLS AND REFUSE REFUNDS I SPEND OVER HOURS ON CUSTOMER SUPPORT WITH KRISTY E WHO REFUSED TO LET ME TALK WITH HER MANAGER JOE AND ACTUALLY SAID THAT I WAS WRONG AND THEY HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO CHARGE ME....BUT IF I WANT A COPY OF THE PHONE RECORDING THAT VALIDATES I CANCELED I CAN PAY THEM $75/HOUR TO FIND IT I DO NOT WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY EXCEPT MY $ BACK AND THEM TO QUIT CHANGING ME AND TO CANCEL EVERYTHING...WHICH IS WHAT I REQUESTED EXACTLY YEARS AGO
over hours of phone calls to agents and no proper assistancewe purchased an upgrade to a newer system and were assured that all data and assistance would be given to get the new system up and running we were instructed to remove old software and install new softwareupon completion we tried to reincorporate the datathe first agent was disconnected and made no attempt to recontact uslater we found out his shift ended and he just went homethe next agent stated they do not help with this at all and refused to get anyone else on the line and hung up on usthe next agent did try and assist us but was unable to resolve the issue and when we asked for a supervisor, we were xfered to the main quethe next agent declined to get us a supervisor until we re discussed the issueanother minutes later, he finally gave up and got us a managerthe manager finally gave us info that another department would have to be involved but that there is a $fee to move the data per acco
First all reps who helped me was rude and tried to hang up on meHere is my problem, I made an order at midnight (Thursday, Dec 15)I wanted to cancel it but it was falling in weekend that was why I tried to cancel on following Monday but I was refused to get full refund even store creditAlso according to your refund policy, if the purchased hosting service is NOT performed then I'm eligible for a refund within days of the date of the transactionIn that section, they didn't mention days timeframe exclusive for monthly or yearly productsThus, I'm demanding the full refund
Two of my website domain names were set to auto-renew I received this email reminder notice before the auto-renewal date:

We make a good team
You made the smart, simple choice when you selected auto-renewThe following domains will renew automatically on the dates listed belowAll that's left to do is enjoy your purchase
If you'd like to review billing details, select View All RenewalsOr, to extend your term, select Renew Now
Of course, if you ever have a question, our support team is here 24/

Nowhere in the email did it indicate that the renewal term would be for years On the auto-renewal date, I received an email telling me that the domains had each renewed for a 2-year term I only wanted to renew for year When I called GoDaddy customer service, they told me that they could not "take time off the renewal" and adjust it to a one year renewal They also refused to issue any sort of credit They said that their policy is make the auto-renewal
The unexplained mystery charges that appeared on my account was beyond a simple up sale technique Too much work to keep pace with the charges and add onsThe actual cost of doing business was beyond the introductory offers Customer service merely states that an email was sent, despite spam or countless up selling emails that any reasonable person ignoresSo I decided this service was not for meI tried to resolve the issue 2x and was not satisfiedI will pass on Go Daddy in the future - too aggressive technique for meI like old fashion services and fair play
Customer Service was not helpfulI cancelled all my accounts Go Away Daddy
I cancelled my annual contact for internet services on 1/7/after receiving a reminder email forv1/8/renewal
I deleted the site and content as well as completing the company's exit survey- twice
days later 1/9/My account was billed the annual fee I attempted to speak yup Customer service rep Phil who refused assistance because I had no PIN for the accountHe stayed I could look out up on the accountI offered multiple other forms of identification as when I now went to the account I received a error messageHe refused Amy assistance, I requested another representative or a supervisor He refused staying none were availableI quoted him their ad 24/service and started I was being refused very basic assistance Including access to a supervisor
He said I should hang up and call back of I wanted another rep bit that no one there would assist in my need
I notified him of my intent to report this company to the FTC & Revdex.com
I asked for his identity oth
Godaddy stole my domain
I got an email stating my domain 33fit.com was renewed for years and charged
So I called Go-daddy and informed them I did not make this transaction
They said the only way to refund was to cancel the domain, which I did not want to do, I only had the domain for months
I don't know how to resolve this dispute
I wish to keep ownership of my domain
Any help you could provide with this matter would be appreciated
Godaddy stole my domain
Godaddy has an auctions department that sells domains through an auction process similar to Ebay I placed a max bid of on a specific domain *** The godaddy system malfunctioned and put my bid as 22, I contacted Godaddy IMMEDIATELY prior to the auction finishing from both email and PHONE Godaddy General support told me that they didn't know what to do about the malfunction and this Auction ran on a Sunday and GODADDY auctions is conveniently NOT OPEN on Sunday The auction continued with the bidding continuing and stopped at $7300(ie my bid was overbidding everyone else because the system has my bid as 22,221) I contacted them through email (the only way the auction department seems to correspond) and they said there was nothing they could do I am long time member of godaddy have hundreds of domains, websites, been a premium member of the auctions sites, so I AM NOT a NOVICE and placed hundreds of bids over many many years This was system malfunction obvious
