GoDaddy.com, LLC, auto reviewed my webhosting for full price for two yearsWhen I called in, I was told, I was two days late to recoup any money from them because of their 30-day refund policy, not even if I terminate the service! A few things came out of this: 1) First of all, the auto renewal is set by DEFAULT, which is a cheap practice into making customer to pay full price 2) Secondly, not anywhere, even in the auto renewal email, indicates there is such a 30-day non-refundable policy, which by the way, is the worst I ever know of Even cable and phone companies allows early termination with a fee Shame on GoDaddy.com who knows only collecting money! 3) Last but not the least, the auto renewal is two years, again not anywhere indicates that, in fact, if manually renew from website, it gives the option of or years

I paid Go Daddy $to increase my company's appearance on search engines (SEO)I received nothing in return except for a less than five minute call once a month and a short email claiming that the search terms they picked had climbed the online listsThis is not trueEvery time I tried to look up my company's website it was either not to be found or much lower on the list than Go Daddy had told meAfter two months, I complained about the lack of results and was assured that much better results were forth coming soon
I have not had a single sale of my product on the website (***) that Go Daddy did SEO for allegedlyMy same product sells briskly on the *** *** *** *** website
When I spoke to Mikela in SEO on 11/5/18, she told me there are no refundsShe told me, "SEO is something we recommend to a more established businessThe salesmen won't tell you that because they want the business." That is deceptionMikela next suggested I try another sal

I called because I noticed when pulling my website up it had been turned offI called to inquire and told I missed the date for the website builder renewal and my options were to rebuild my website or pay $to get the tech team to release itBuilding that site was approximately a hour endeavor and if I rebuild it it WILL NOT be with your productI had been paying with an account credit recently because I had been refunded from where you overcharged me so you corrected the mistake you made and I'm happy to correct in paying the monthly fee and I would understand paying a late fee but $is an exorbitant fee for the tech team to simply release my site information, they aren't having to rebuild themI have gotten quotes from other hosting services that are more cost effective and one that even includes an app I would like to get past this and remain a customer but I will not do so with an unreasonable charge to restore my site pages.I want to continue with an amicable solution for both sides but even when speaking to supervisors their stance is there is nothing anyone can doI still had a credit from where they had overcharged me but you can't auto renew with account credits and I had been dealing with immensely stressful family issues including a son in and out of the hospital with seizures and a mother entering hospice care and they do not care the circumstances even though credit was there to cover itI have investigated other hosting companies and would never recommend them with how they treated me and took advantage to get an exorbitant extra fee

I have been using Godaddy.com for years and their service continually has gotten less and less professional and competentMost recently, they assisted me in reducing the size of my website and server They misguided me on the type of server to use despite my proactive research and discussions, they failed at performing a routine migration, failed to stay on top of it, failed to make my website function as it did before, and in the end erased my entire years worth of a customize, costly website as a result of me not responding to them fast enough after an employee had turned off the autopay function on my server that I had relied upon for over yearsI was told they could recover it for a fee They charged me $to do so, but failed to perform the recovery and have lost my entire website They only sent me cryptic email that it was unsuccessful and continued to bill me for the wiped serverGetting a refund for only that month was almost impossible and then they tried to give it to me as a credit to godaddy versus an actual refund They refuse to refund me for the on going wiped server costI highly recommend that people do not use Godaddy for their services They are a dying company that lacks talent and bandwidth literally Take your business elsewhere before it is too late! Back up and get out I recommend a company like Amazon that will actually remain in business in the years to come The harm they have caused me is irreparable

Horrible experience after years of giving them my business they don't appreciate their customersThey talked me into upgrading to their new plan that was supposedly be better and I explicitly asked them if I would keep the email that that I had before with my hosting and they said YESAfter a month from that I learned that my business emails were bouncing back, so called to see if there were any technical issues, but instead I found out they stopped the service for emails and wanted to sell me a new email package instead even though the new plan they already sold me was supposed to include emails
I called and wanted to cancel all my services with them and asked for a refund for the unused portion of services I purchased which is about years from now to expire, but they said they can't refund anything
I don't know what to call them to be appropriateto me they are con artists who took advantage of my trust in them

I had contacted the business on several occasionsMy domain expired and I was unable to renew it by myselfI ended up talking to an individual who stated he would use the card on file to pay for the domainI thought it was squared away and now a domain I've owned since is goneMy business domain is gone :( it was ***

Go Daddy is saying that they have a recurring payment which they do not and have charged me for a product that I was not able to use last year since we were unable to get the website to link with the domain and hostingI was suppised to see the charge on my credit card for a product that did not work last year

Company provides a 99.9% uptime guarantee, yet when services are not working as promised, does not offer resolution quickly nor compensation of lost time

Recently my credit card used for my godaddy Web hosting accounts was compromised Before I was able to get this resolved with my bank and a new card sent out and received, my billing period came due with godaddyWhen my card was declined due to the fraud, they deleted all of my websites that were on my hosting account When I got my new card in, and called them to get my service restored, I was told there wold be a 150$ fee to restore my websites, even though the reason they were cancelled was due to fraud I have hosting accounts, so I was charged I explained to them what happened and told them I should not be required to pay this fee The representative I spoke with would not allow me to speak with a supervisor but said they spoke with one on my behalf and they wouldn't do anything
If the fees were not bad enough, after paying it, and checking to see if everything was restored, I realized they didn't even restore me sites All they did was restor

My credit card was billed in an auto-renewal for services When I noticed it on my credit card statement, I contacted them regarding the issue I was informed that they have a day refund policy on auto-renewals, and that it had in fact been days Yes that is correct day extra and they would do NOTHING to help me, they were content to just take my money, I have no need nor want of their product anymoreand now i'm out my money too as I have contacted my credit card company and they have concluded I guess, that I owe them as they have once again charged me the total after removing it during "investigation." If it had been months or something like that I could see their point, but really one day over and no help I tried climbing the ladder, but I was told "The managers have no power and they just do what we say anyways" The final representative I spoke with (supposedly a supervisor) proceeded to tell me that he was much more responsible than I am as he would certainly ha

I was contacted by phone on May 22nd for soliciting purposes to purchase a website that I did not require at the timeI was told that I had a trial period for the websit domain and hosting that was activated a week later on May 31, I began to use the site to see if I could post my project on it and if the project would be viable on the siteThe trial period was unsuccessful and on June 25th I discontinued the service requesting a full refund ($USD) or even a partial one for the remaineder of the year that I could not useDue to the days over the trial period, I was told that I could not receive a refund for the whole amount or the remainder of the yearI find this business practice to be a huge money grab taking advantage of their existing customers that do not yet need their servicesTo not offer a refund policy that is in line with how their services work annually is a scam in my opinionI am requesting a full refund for this service as I have the documentation t

On Jul 17, 7:AM I purchased Ultimate Managed WordPress - Years for my website About a week into the service, I started to have some loading issues With numerous chats and phone calls, I keep getting the same responses "however since the issue with the server it is our Engineers that are working with itIf only the issue can be fixed by pressing a button or something on my end I will do it." and "upgrade" Really? First, I'm already on Ultimate, which is WAY MORE than I even need! I'm a month in and already regretting my year contract All I want is a site that works How is that MY fault? A month for me, I would think they may need to buy another server if they can't fix they one they have So disappointed

Terrible service! Do not go with these people I ordered a domain and email address only to find the email address was not available After going back and forth with Microsoft and Godaddy many times, each saying it's the other person's problem, I requested a refund I was able to get most of it, and again, after waiting on their chat system (one time for over an hour) for them to do their thing they never refunded my money for the domain They said I was days outside of the refund window which was over New Year's holiday weekend They never provided me with a transcript of my chat sessions when I requested everything The supervisor I spoke with said he couldn't make an exception for me because he'd have to make an exception for a million other people If they have a million dissatisfied customers maybe that says something about their business So upset about they way they treat customersI still believe I requested it within their time frame and the customer service rep didn't put the request through until after it had expired

Godaddy has terrible serviceI had to argue with them in order to get "store credit" because of a known issue concerning their web hosting service I ended up purchasing a Microsoft Business package in order to use up the store credit(Store credit is basically useless it's pretty much buying Microsoft stuff or reinvest in their substandard hosting) They set up some "account" for me to download Microsoft Business package but when I went to find out what my Microsoft login was with Microsoft the site said there was no recordFast forward with Microsoft tech support...they put an account executive on with me and she placed a conference call to Godaddy and they agreed to credit my original credit card and confirmed with the Microsoft person that it would not be store credit When I finally received notification from Godaddy concerning the refund it was store creditIf you research their practices you will see I am not the only person they do this to and they do NOT deserve the posit

I was sold a upgraded product (Officeemail) by being misled to believe that my old product would no longer be a product option for meWhen I was incorrectly charged for the renewal of the old product I had, I was informed by the Customer Service agent that my old product (Workspace email) was in fact still a product that I could have usedHad I have known this, I would not have upgraded my product to a new product, because my old product worked just fineThe sales person on the phone used bullying, fear and high-pressure sales tactics as well as withholding information from me in order to sell a product that I did not need
When I called to switch back to my old product, GoDaddy refused to refund my upgrade and allow me to keep my old planBy refunding me, GoDaddy would have only lost $133/year but would have retained a customerThe amount of time that it took me, my staff and GoDaddy's staff to resolve this issue is wildly disproportionate to the severity of this issue as

This is horrible! I ordered a domain name on line It came with a free Ownership protection plan When I realized it cost close to $to renew, they told me that I was outside the day period and that they would not refund my money even though they have a step authentication process and you have to call back after hours It was the holidays and I did not call within the hour period and they would not refund my money for the, "Ownership Protection" This is how they scam their customers It is horrible! Terrible customer service, I was on hold for an hour! Boomer is the person who told me to call back and supposedly the supervisor, "Hass" is the one who would not help me one bit even though my notes where in the system I was supposed to call back in December and did not until January I was actually going to transfer some other domain names to them, but not anymore

I pay GoDaddy to host my WordPress site (***)On May 25, 2017, they updated the software to a versionThat caused my site to crashI hoped it was temporary, but that was not the caseOn June 1, 2017, I contacted GoDaddyThey said that everything looks fine on their end, so I would have to pay them $to look into the matterEverything is not fineTry going to my site and you will get an error message(If my site is working when you receive this, then they have decided to fix itIf it is not working, my complaint remains.) My newest book comes out on June 20, 2017, and people cannot find it due to GoDaddy's refusal to address the problem

I used this company to set up a website over years ago as a favor for a local organizationAfter it was completed I turned the management over to the organization which I have had nothing to do with for almost yearsA few months ago a huge charge of over $showed up on my credit card statementThese despicable crooks claimed that I authorized automatic year renewalThey also claim that they sent an email to me about only having a day refund period for cancellationsNever in a million years would I have authorized year automatic renewal if I understood it, and I didn't receive a renewal noticeThey stole over $from me and I can't do anything about it because their terms and conditions state that they can change their pricing and charges however they wantDo not agree to those terms! Stay away from these crooks! Please note that this company has positive reviews, negative reviews, and complaints yet Revdex.com gives them an A+ rating?!!!! What's up with that? Just remember those numbers if you choose to do business with these people and you get screwed

Multiple days of service down without any time frame for resolutionNot willing to take long route to fix issue for individual problem while working on solution for all customers
