I received an auto-renew bill via emailOnce I saw the bill, within a week, I called GoDaddy to cancel serviceI never authorized the charging of my credit card and did not receive notifications prior to that pointI was told they could only refund about 10% of the services because that's how they operate their contractsAgain, never authorizing a renewal of services and with no notifications, I was billed and they said they were not able to refund charges
I would like to receive a refundI will not be utilizing their services going forward and will no longer be referring them to friends and family

On 01/17/Godaddy.com charged my *** account $ and $for services I never ordered or authorizedThese were two separate charges ultimately resulting in two separate overdraft fees
*** charged my personal checking account and ran it into overdraft status twiceAfter contacting both *** and GoDaddy, they told me they were wrong charges and would be refunded with no further explanation but not overdraft fee's I have refunds pending from Godaddy that can take up to days to refund *** told me it can take up to days to see the refund in my account totaling a possible days for a refundIn the mean time my account is twice overdrawn to the tune of almost $I contacted GoDaddy and they said they started the refund process but were unable to tell me how the charges came about in the first placeThey hung up on me twiceFirst by a man named Elliot and the second time by his billing supervisor named ChrisNether were willing to tell me wh

Godaddy has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with, they kept me on the phone for literally hours yesterday and today another hour and halfI signed up with godaddy yesterday and the program they put me was junk, Then this agent said you need another program and she moved me She never mentioned a price differenceWell, I work on the site for hours and I notice the mobile site looks all wonkySo, I call to see how I fix itGuess what you can'tSo, the agent says he needs to move me to a different program and I have to start all overWell he changes and me he changed me back to exact same program I was initially onSo, I call back again and guess what he moves me back to the program I was building onHe said just turn off the mobile function and the site will show up perfectlyWhen I spoke with him I confirmed I was on plan which is a yearWell, today when I went to link my facebook to the page it linked my personal account rather than my busines

I purchased an economy hosting plan through them a couple of months agoLast month I decided to upgrade to the Ultimate hosting planOne of the selling points to the Ultimate plan, and the MAIN reason I upgraded to it was the fact that they offer year FREE SSLToday I was trying to set up my SSL and was having problemsI contacted them for assistance and now they are trying to charge me for the SSLThey are telling me that it is not available to me because I upgraded to the Ultimate plan rather than purchasing it upfrontThere is nothing on the advertisement on the homepage saying that it's not included through an upgradeand when I was doing the upgrade nobody told me that I would not be receiving the SSLThey are saying that I won't get it now because I upgraded rather than made an upfront purchasebut their site lead me to believe that it was included in the ULTIMATE PLAN

I have had a number of issues with website "security" with Go DaddyThey blocked forms on my website from being completed by my customers and my notifications, claiming my site had security issuesThey said they would not allow me to use the forms to protect their servers unless I bought a security packageAfter I refused, my site, for the first time in the nearly two years I had the site running, was shut down by an "outside attack." Since I need my site to work, I ultimately purchased the security packageThe uptime and security reports never showed any problems, yet several requests to the security team removed literally thousands of malware and other attacks on the integrity of the siteI had been using other services in the previous 18-months to scan for attacks and protect my site without any problems at allI have spent hours upon hours on the phone on more than one occasion to get my site up and running again, after it went downOne time the rep insisted my site was running, when I was looking at the page and giving her the exact error message that showed on the screen when attempting to navigate to my siteThis had culminated in a chat today during which the representative kept rambling on and when I demanded the unnecessary chat stop and said I don't have time to waste, she disconnected the chatDO NOT USE GODADDY for your hosting or any other services - they do not deliver, they inundate you with sales calls, and do not deliver the product and services they claimThe only thing keeping me from immediately leaving is the time it will take me to secure hosting and transfer my website to another company

When performing a search on GoDaddy.com to check the availability of a specific domain name, I found that GoDaddy.com had purchased the domain name I had searched forNow they are requiring that I pay $plus commission to GoDaddy.com to negotiate the sale, for what was a $domain, from GoDaddy.comI believe this is a poor business practice and that GoDaddy.com is basically extorting it's customers

Fake information given over the chat that my domain name will be renewed with coupon *** for only 0.99$USD once I transfer it from the old Godaddy a/c to the current godaddy accountNow the Twitter handle is also harassing meIt looks like that they are waiting for April and deliberately wasting my time so that once the domain is expired they have one more reason to harass meIts been 3-days tweeter handle could not do anything just saying we are reading the chat where fake information was given that my domain will be renewed with the coupon
I had a coupon that was to be used on one a/c only one timeI have a domain to be renewed so I contacted Godaddy customer care where they approved that If I transfer this domain from my Old Godaddy to the New Godaddy a/c I can renew that domain with the coupon and the new renewal will cost me only 0.99$USDHere is the Chat proof where your chat team officially provided me this information ? ***

GoDaddy is the biggest offender of ethics I've ever seen! GoDaddy is the most unethical company and has to be stopped! I'm trying to buy a domain name that has NO significance to anyone but my website / business name! GoDaddy is holding the domain name hostage for $9,500.00! They claim it's a Premium name - it is NOT! They only claim this because it's characters but the characters don't spell a name or reference anything - it's just my business abbreviation with a RANDOM NUMBER included! Now I don't have a way to conduct my business! This domain would fit on my license plates, on my business cards, on flyers, and just make it easier for me and my customers! But GoDaddy is impeding my RIGHT to conduct commerce!

I called in attempt to get a refundI was denied the refund and told to call backThen I attempted to call again today to get a refundI was denied again and told that it was 'outside of the refund window'
This is for $USDNot a small amountI was denied the refund twice and given 'reasons' why it couldn't happen
I want the refund and I want a negative impact to the company for poor business practicesI was charged for a renewal on a domain for five yearsThis is a website that I hosted for about a year and honestly had forgotten completely about
I'm in the process of working with PayPal as well to dispute the payments and force the company to refund the moneyIt's just nonsense

This company is front-running a domain I searched for a domain directly within their search and before I could complete the purchase the domain was squatted by Godaddy.com I purchased their recommended service to "reach out" to the owner of the domain I was trying to purchase not realizing it was actually Godaddy.com that is in control of the domain Godaddy attempts to extort individuals by telling them that they can buy the domain within certain parameters to only then at an inflated price offer the domain for sale From $at my initial attempt to purchase the domain, to on an offer to sell me the domain for a price of $5,from a supposed owner of the domain They state most cases can be executed between $to $2,

I had originally purchased some domains with godaddy.com that originally renew automaticallyI was not satisfied with my service and hidden charges so I decided to cancel all four of my domainsMy account number with godaddy.com was #*** .Canceling was an extreme hassle seeing as godaddy.com kept on charging me after the cancellationAfter many calls to the company I was able to cancel my domains on January 6, 2016, with this cancellation I also have email confirmation that my domains were cancelled
My canceled domains are as fallows: ***m , ***, *** ***
The problem arrived when on December 9,I received an email from godaddy.com stating that my payment method is missing and expires soon with the fine text that they have the right to charge my account with auto renewal

Initially spoke with a sales rep in May and based upon what was to all be part of a package for the "Premium" package I was promised many things only to find out after paying thousands and months later the things the sales rep *** said would include in my purchase price was notI have made many calls, finally was able to reach a supervisor who stated she could not provide me with even a email address for herself so I would have a point of contactIn the end she emailed me with different stories that each contradicted her statements in writing but siding with Go Daddy and found no wrongWhen asked for additional info she said I needed a subpoenaIn addition in one of her replies she stated she spoke with the sales rep about my conversation with him in May and states he said he remembered exactly what he told meI find this hard to believe as he most likely has spoken with several hundred people since yet he can remember my conversation with him? Common sense no! I ha

Our business registered a Godaddy account and purchased a domainOne of our former colleague left the company on bad terms, and he secretly changed our password and the associated credit cardAs a result, we couldn't access our accountWe called customer service two times and discuss about this situation for over mins, they said they couldn't do anything unless we have the 4-digit pin (which anyone can change if they have the account username and password) or the last digits of the associated credit card (which was changed easily) even though our business owns the account and the domain nameWe were willing to provide all kinds of evidence to prove our ownership such as business license, purchase receipt of the domain and proper photo ID etcThis matter could've been solved easily given the premises Godaddy digs into our account record, but they simply refused to do that and blamed everything on usThat was a really unprofessional thing to doWe own the account, and we own

I tried to change my renewal for my domain and was having difficulty getting the year with no additional services instead of years so I contacted customer support for assistance I received the confirmation for the year and thought everything was fine until I got back after evacuating for Hurricane Irma and noticed that there was an extra charge on my credit card from GoDaddy One for the year that I requested through customer service, and one for the original renewal of years, for a total of years instead of year Both dated the same day I contacted GoDaddy customer support and they stated they cannot issue a refund without cancelling the domain, and I couldn't re-register the domain for days

over hours of phone calls to agents and no proper assistancewe purchased an upgrade to a newer system and were assured that all data and assistance would be given to get the new system up and running we were instructed to remove old software and install new softwareupon completion we tried to reincorporate the datathe first agent was disconnected and made no attempt to recontact uslater we found out his shift ended and he just went homethe next agent stated they do not help with this at all and refused to get anyone else on the line and hung up on usthe next agent did try and assist us but was unable to resolve the issue and when we asked for a supervisor, we were xfered to the main quethe next agent declined to get us a supervisor until we re discussed the issueanother minutes later, he finally gave up and got us a managerthe manager finally gave us info that another department would have to be involved but that there is a $fee to move the data per acco

Advertised domain name registration for cents when I go to checkout states full priceI called customer service and they refuse to help me just as a response I'm not eligibleWhat makes me eligible? Why provided advertisement? And why is customer service and the supervisor so rude to me

Their customer service sucks! Please read the fine print on the their return policyMy SSL didn't work with my websiteSo, I called their customer serviceI was a denied a refundThey said I paid in advance, so they don't allow refundsWow, Don't buy any products from themWaste of my time and money

I had a account previouslyGoDaddy harassed me nonstopI let my websites lapseDecided to set one up again, paid for it using my credit card (less than $charge As soon as I registered I have received non-stop calls from GoDaddy and other companies and agencies trying to sell me goods or services I complained on-line with using the chat function Today I receive an Email asking me to send in a photo ID (I used my drivers license with license number redacted) I served years in Air Force, years a a Nuclear Security Manager, I am dumbfounded at the aggressive manner in which customers are hounded the second they pay and agree to use their service and if you fail to answer the barrage of phone calls they shut down your website with no reasonable explanation or legal basis I feel I am being discriminated against as a direct result of my lack of cooperation in answering the nuisance calls, many that they are Bottom line, I paid for the service, I am in legal complianc

Steep price to restore hosting for existing customer Obviously do not appreciate my continued business Long hold times only to get dismissed Company once had great customer service Not the case anymoreShop around if your considering Go Daddy

Horrible Horrible Horrible serviceThey are rude, they want some person who has NO technical knowledge to be the "go between" just repeating conversations with no idea what they are talking about, then if you ask to talk to that person they will just literally transfer you back to the main numberAfter they have done this enough times to make you want to tear your hair out, they are absolutely MONSTROUS if you express ANY frustrationPlease do yourself and your physical and mental health a favor - find someone else to purchase your services through
