Negative
I have been a Go Daddy customer for more than years now and I am very very unsatisfied with their policies and their serviceThey are always looking to make money in every way possibleTheir policies are very unfriendly to small business and they should be ashamed of itOne recent example I give is about my email hosting plan
I was a subscriber or their old 'Website Builder' for almost years now, however limiting, expensive and frustrating it was, I was putting up with it as I am a one man small business and with my limited time and resources, I never felt that it was worth my time to spend more time criticizing itSo, when they offered their new "Go Central" plan, I signed up and it seemed way more flexible and had much better UIWhile switching, the rep never told me that the email plan I had was linked to my old website builder plan and that switching from that would make me lose my access to my business email and email address itself
Thankfully, I called up again and the new rep clarified this and made me sign up for another stand alone email plan for $for years - basic email etc - I wasnt too happy as I had free email before and now I was paying for this separately as wellI still went ahead as no business can survive without an email - so you Go Daddy got me here - v clever
If this wasnt enough, I called them again with an unrelated issue when I was told that the email plan I had just bought was an old email server that they were planning to retire and in order to migrate to their new server, I would have to pay another $t keep my emailsI mean - "Seriously" !!!!! Since when did consumers start paying for email server migrations ?? Isnt this supposed to be something the business is supposed to provide the consumer as an ongoing infrastructure support??
I asked the rep as to what would have happened if I had not called up and known about this - how would you have charged me and he answered that it would have showed up as a pending balance in my next statementSo I pay for their new website builder, I pay for basic email and I also pay for your server migrationsI asked if all existing customers on email plans have been consented to this migration payment and he said that they have to agree to this while accepting terms and conditionsie it is all hidden in the fine print that no one ever reads and here is the golden opportunities that GoDaddy looks forShame on You
You are a total rip off - taking advantage of busy small businesses who are trying to survive and stay afloat already
BTW - GoDaddy always offers discounts on new services ONLY and never on renewals - once you sign up for one, you are screwed because when that comes up for renewal, the next time around - you will never see a discount again
Stop your advertising Go Daddy- you are not small business friendlyUtterly and deeply regret my decision to having bought the domain and the web hosting plan with you

They don't give us chance to fix copyright problem
And we don't know who uploaded these videos, cause we just a video website like youtubeThe users can upload what they might like
When we saw the email, then we found the whole server is already shut down
I sent emails and call them again and again , but no response
This behaviors looks like robbery
If they got any information with problem content or behaviors
We are happy to remove these contents even the whole site permanently and add pending system
Let it never happen againBut it not a right way to shutdown whole server without any notification
They shut down our small business, and don't give us any notificationOur employees have nothing to work
Cause on this server, we also have our small business website, which is total authorized and legal

I own several domains with GoDaddy as my registrarI no longer have access to a GoDaddy account, but still own the domainsThe domains have my full name, address, telephone #, etc in the whois registryI asked Godaddy to assist me with moving the domains to a new registrar and they have refusedThey claim that I have to provide a copy of a business license or pin# to a paid account to get them to release my domainsThe domains are not registered to a businessWhen I registered the domains, I entered an unincorporated social club name in the "organization" name blockThis is NOT a business
Godady is using these arbitrary rules to avoid releasing my domains for moving

We received a credit card statement of years of email service totaling over $1k billed 3/I was made aware of the charge from our billing one week later than the day refund policy of GoDaddyI have had great experiences with GoDaddy in the past and asked them to do an exception to their policy, being that it is only days past the policyThey would notI once thought the customer service and support of GoDaddy was top notchI recommended them and advocated for them many timesNot nowAs soon as our indentured stay is over, since we are locked in now to years, our association with them is overWe were not even trying to cancel everything, but to just go to one year so we can better financially handle thisI am still astounded that not one single person there would not make the effort to make this happen That's not customer service

Representative at godaddy changed my contact email address without my consent or knowledge therefore I did NOT receive a reminder email that one of my domains was expiringNow godaddy wants to extort $from me to recover my domain because of their mistakeOh and before someone at godaddy replies that I changed my email...there is zero chance I would do that since I not only have had that email address for 15+ yearsI have that email at almost every address i.eyahoo, hotmail, live, gmail, sbcglobal, comcast, charter, at&t, even at a domain I have with godaddy with the same nameThere is, and I repeat NO WAY I would have changed my email with godaddyIt simply isn't possibleSo since this is something godaddy did without my knowledge or consent I BEAR NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT! They should not only renew my domain without the $recovery fee, they should renew it for free as compensation for the inconvenience their error has caused meOh but wait that is something on

The UX and UI are absolutely terrible Nothing feels streamlined, they charge for stuff you can get for free on other platforms, the support is largely unhelpful I really don't understand how they are still in businessI have never once had a client that used godaddy and everything went smoothlyThey should change or go out of business

Purchased business domain names for website building Was extremely unhappy with outcome of service including merchant charging for unauthorized additional items and double and triple charging to my cc account Website department was completely useless and after several complaints over number of months warned the merchant would be going to different hosting company After last step, sent a fax and told merchant that wanted my domain transfer codes for all three domain names to take with me to another hoster Merchant started out by telling me they charge a transfer out fee for any domains Had to educate the merchant these domains were owned by me and wanted these codes immediately Then, they told me the would only send these codes to me to an email address they had on file This address was a partial old address from a couple of years ago which they created by combining using this partial information Were sending these codes to [email protected] This address never e

On March 28, I purchased multiple domains from GoDaddy.com including kaittyler.comI added the secrutiy option to all domains which protects your personal information with encryption and 'dump' emails and business addressesWhen I went to check out, it was suggested to me by GoDaddy that I also purchase kaittyler.us to protect the integrity of kaittyler.comSince purchasing my GoDaddy domains I have been harassed with at least phone calls a day by third party phishing companies trying to "set up my website' for meI finally realized that the only 'new' thing I had done with my business was purchase those domains last week
I called GoDaddy customer service today to ask how my personal information was given out and they explained that the privacy protection was not available for my kaittyler.us domain- so all of my information was public and that was why I was getting the callsI asked them to refund me for the .us domain because of this issue and was told that their policy wa

I have been a godaddy customer for over years The company used to be the best in domain hosting etc and has now become a joke compared to it's former self You can no longer get any help from godaddy with any issues All they do is send email instructions and ask you to pay for even the smallest help when this used to be included Basic help is non existent Take your business else where

cr *** we initiated a transfer of domain, then declined it
company charged the card but did not refund the amount back
this company ended their customer support email, their chat version of customer support is virtually impossible to reach and last time I talked to them, they were telling lies over the phone including supervisorswe spent hours over the phone only to have the issue non-resolved

I was without my per;mission auto billed for a large renewal packageThe money was suddenly taken from my linked bank accountI requested a full refund over multiple calls for the past month and followed all the instructions they said I needed to do to get my money refunded and accounts closed, and they still have not refunded me the money and always find an issue unresolvedThey said I need to verify that my domain name was not a business for my protectionI notified them it was for personnel use and not a registered businessThey still said there department did not receive this email notice twiceI have spent hours of time talking to them on the phone

This company strings you along until you are outside of your cancel window to keep you moneyThey are only good for the user that does not know anything about web hosting, VPS hosting, etcTerrible company and I do not recommend unless you cannot afford anything else.Evidentally we were day past the days and they refused to refund us the months we are not using the servicesHorrible customer service

I purchased a domain name (***) through the GoDaddy siteNo where on the product purchase form or anywhere did the site say that A) I may not get the product purchased or B) You will have to wait 5-business days to get the productI paid $for this domain and my money was taken and chargedThis occurred on 07/25/I contacted GoDaddy later that day to find out why the domain wasn't in my account for useThe Rep told me that the domain was mine and guaranteed me that I would have it with in 3-business daysI called again today (07/31/2017) and spoke with Nicole first and then the supervisor MarcusMarcus was too busy defending his company and wouldn't be of ANY serviceHe told me that the domain I purchased had expired and they would refund my money
This is unacceptableGodaddy took my $and gave me hopes of getting a productIs still holding my moneyAnd I quoted a site based on this information and I will lose $because of this sca

A website that hosted by your company www.voterrecords.com I have contacted this website by email and they have replied by email refusing to remove a profile of me that has my name and address on their website

I spent over $for a custom designed ecommerce website from goDaddy After months
worth of going back and forth to try and get them to create BASIC things for example: what text or pictures should be in the front pageBecause of the poor quality of service and design, I requested a refund They say I am not eligible for a refund
This is their return policy:
Professional Web Design Services
Web Services: 30% cancelation fee when in progress, non-refundable once complete
This project was NOT completedI did NOT sign off on it or give my verbal agreement
According to their contract, which I did NOT sign, this is the definition of "Complete" I even offered to resolve
this by paying the 30%They wouldn't accept it
Completion of ServicePublication of your Design is acknowledgement of your satisfaction with the Services provided to date and releases us from any obligation for further revisions or alterations at that time or until the next Update Minutes

On March 21, I called GoDaddy for a domain registration and personal website The next day I began receiving spam emails, texts and phone calls on my cell phone Upon doing some research online, I found all of my personal information displayed on a site called "WhoIs" I immediately cancelled my domain name and website, but the harassing phone calls, texts and emails continued
Several phone calls to GoDaddy have not solved my issue I was never offered a privacy setting for my domain, and was never informed that my personal address would be displayed online for spammers to see My name, cell phone number and address are now publicly displayed on the web, and GoDaddy says I have to wait up to days for it to be removed Even if it's removed, the damage is already done I no longer feel safe, and am being harassed GoDaddy should be held liable for damages as a result of releasing this information

I've paid for a year of service and the company has corrupted the year of service on their end
I called them directly to report such
They wrote a ticket to repair it ensuring it will be taken care of in hours (protocol)
hours passed, they're asking for another hours or additional funds
None of which can help my business and I feel like a sucker
Who pays for a service then gets asked to pay again to ensure the initial service????

I followed a linked promotion through my employer’s website offering a $per .COM website purchaseI selected websites & placed them in my Godaddy cart at the $priceHowever, when my order went into the pay review my website costs immediately changed to $per .COMI called customer serviceA couple of hours later and lots of placements on hold, I was told that since I had been with Godaddy for over years, “historically, if I ever purchased a website at the $price, then I would never be able to purchase a $website in the present or future”Baffled by such an eternal promo policy, I asked if this restriction was somewhere in writing for the customer to reviewWell, the answer was simple, not from my account or accessibility anywhere in the websiteI had to be emailed the policy from the customer service repIn the policy’s vagueness, there was words that were supposed to represent a previous customer forever, never having access to this $.COM

In August of 2015, I bought the domain *** from GoDaddy for $3,I had set the domain up to autorenew each year for their price of $In January of 2017, my credit card was stolen and replacedOn February 1, we logged in to GoDaddy and entered the new credit card informationIt confirmed that we had added the new CC to use as the primary oneThere were NO instructions anywhere on the site that said to update anything elseIt appeared that our new card was added and would be used to process all new payments
However, GoDaddy did not use that new card on file to renew my domain, and instead reverted to the old oneIt was declined, and I lost the domainNow a GoDaddy broker has “bought” the domain and is selling it for $
We called GoDaddy on June 13, June 14, June 20, and the first two employees we spoke to there admitted that yes, it is quite confusing because there ARE not any instructions to do anything else to update the credit card on the w
