I purchased Microsoft Office (year K) on 9/12/through GoDaddy, the host of my domain I asked about email hosting and cloud services and was sold this product
Since that time, I have had several issues with the product and every time I call GoDaddy customer service, and they don't know how to address my issue, they tell me that they do not support the product and refer me to Microsoft
The first -times this happened, I called Microsoft and was told that Microsoft would not provide free support since I had purchased the product from GoDaddy Microsoft will only support the product at a cost that I was quoted as $400+ for a single phone service call
I have spent countless hours on the phone arguing with GoDaddy about this issue to no avail
The product has never done what I need it to do - i.e., provide cloud services for client files - and I want my money back
GoDaddy is refusing to refund my money because it is past the days
I want my full $

GoDaddy retains credit card / personal information after purchases, and do not have the authorization to do so When speaking with the representatives of the company, it is stated that credit card information is needed to be maintained in order to renew the domains / accounts / services When completing purchases, there is an option that allows for "auto-renewal" (yes / no) When selected "No" there is no other indications that information is retained for any reason whatsoever, no statement that financial information is retained, nothing in writing Searching www.godaddy.com/legal, when directed by company representatives to read in order to justify this companies' actions, fail to direct to exact title, section, paragraph, subparagraph to which it states that they are retaining financial information in order to maintain 'their records'

In September, I signed up with GoDaddy for a package of domain services on behalf of La Petite Maison, Incof which I was an executive On March 8, I wrote GoDaddy at its corporate address stating that La Petite Maison, Inchad discontinued operations and requesting that the domain name be cancelled as well as the termination of all related services
On August 12, they billed me for $on my American Express card for services related to La Petite Maison, Incand when I disputed the transaction they provided Amex with an "automatic renewal invoice." Now they've charged my Amex card on 9/12/for an additional $
They ended email services for this account months ago, presumably resulting from my 3/8/notification that the company had discontinued operations They have no right to exercise an automatic renewal clause when they were clearly notified that the subject company for which the domain was created, and for which all related services were c

I purchased a Website development package on Jun for an online businessThey had me pick a general theme from choices
- I submitted all the content on July They promised a rough draft in - days
- On July 17, I emailed business affiliate logo I wanted added and asked about the progress/projected date for the rough draftThey did not respond to the question, but acknowledged receipt of the additional information and asked me if there would be anything else comingI responded, I was still waiting for my company logo, but DID NOT want to hold the project up for that and I could have it added later
- On Jul 20, I called about the progress again, they said they were waiting for my logo to get started I reminded them they had all my information since the 10th and I told them not to waitThey acknowledged I did say that and promised to rush on the project
- On Jul (their idea of a rush), I received the rough draft that was basically just cut and paste from m

Friday, May 11, 2018, GoDaddy automatically renewed my domain, directhitonline.com, charging me $for identification protection, which I did not request or want I called GoDaddy, spoke with *** the supervisor who said he would remove the protection feature but threatened if he had to refund the protection fee, they would take my domain from meI told them not to take my domain, I would pay for the renewalFinally he said he would let my domain in my name
Today, I find out *** took my domain name which has been mine business domain for years

I've been a loyal customer for over yearsI have also referred dozens of other customersWith that being said, my hosting account had an issue with billing that I was unaware ofApparently the credit card on file (which was set to auto-pay) had expiredThey're claiming that they emailed me, but didn'tI even checked my spam folders to make sureThey deleted my hosting account and are insisting on charging me $to restore my filesI realize the mistake I made was not having a backup of my filesBut I trusted GoDaddyI no longer doThis is harming my business, as this website is used for suchI hardly ever login directly to GoDaddy, since I can manage my site through the Wordpress interfaceSo I wouldn't have seen a billing notificationTo top all of this offmy billing is ONE DAY lateONE DAY! After over years of being a customer, and referring thousands of dollars to GoDaddy, they can't waive a one-time fee of $140?!? They DID NOT email me or otherwise attempt

I have used go daddy last years with no issues at all.As most companies as they grow their service drops .Today I received a call from them and never before they wanted to verify a purchase buying hosting for years. It was not meOf over he said maybe someone from my office did no true. Then he said maybe hacked my go daddy account was not really getting the answer sensed some reservation as they really didn't want to tell me I figured for sure they were hacked and did not want to get in the press not yeti finally kept trying to drag answer out of him for minutes I said you have no clue had access or how they login etc.he finally only then at minutes of games said it was overseasHe suggested to change my email he said he could not help so then he transferred me to the so called departmentto handle Then I told this guy what happened because the other guy for some reason didn't tell him so I guess they wanted to put me through another minutes. However after min

GoDaddy is the worst platformI am trying to update a website for a clientGoDaddy knowingly admits they have servers running php v4, and that their virtual environment is open to other security risks like DDoS attacks, hacks, SQL injections, etc., but they refuse to do anything about itIf you want to run a simple Wordpress site, or other CMS system, it will not function properly with anything lower than php if you plan to have any current functionality from current versions of WP itself, themes or plugins
Additionally, refusing to update their server environments leaves every client on these servers in jeopardyThey do this because they want the customer to upgrade to a more expensive VPS plan, which simply isn't needed for a small websiteThey are a total scam and they will happily put anyone's website at risk for their own financial gain
Never ever go with GoDaddy if you want a secure virtual environment

they had preasured me into buyint years hosting contract, then provided terrible web hosting service and when I asked them to refund unused funds or reallocate them towards payment for DNS services instead as they were ok, they refused attempts were made to talk to them about this

I've bought services from godaddy to host my websiteAfter three weeks time, I started to experience significant slow-down of the site, it started to crash/be offline, which in communicating with them, it was recommended to buy more servicesAfter buying those services, the site continued to crash and be offline, and more services were recommended by godaddythe site continues to be slow, crash, and pornographic material has been shown in its placeThis has caused us additional IT support a number of days of the site being down , when I have approached godaddy for resolution or accommodation comparable to the expense that I have encountered for their faulty services, they refused to do so and provide me with contactinfo related to their customer service manager

In I received a notice in the mail from Go Daddy that my domain name was about to expire so I called to discuss possible options such as synchronizing the renewal of my domain name and the hosting of my web siteAlso, I asked about possible options regarding the length of agreements for both hosting and domain nameI was told I could renew the domain name for two years as this would have the hosting agreement and domain name renewing at about the same timeI also was told that at the time of the next renewal I could call and discuss options for the length of both agreements since I was not absolutely certain that I wanted an agreement for another five yearsI also asked if I would receive a mailed notice, as I had twice previously, at the time of the next renewal as well as email and I was assured that both these things would occurI also stated that I preferred to pay for the renewal myself and not auto payI then paid for the domain renewal fee as a onetime charge on a Cit

Hi! I have been a consumer of godaddy.com since 1) Recently, they have charged me an auto-renew on09/01/of two products that were unaware on my side 2) I have not received any notification with the amount during the time of their transaction In fact, none of my products in was with the amount of 309EurosTo charge this without proper information is unacceptableI haven't been using the products at all as I am not even aware of themTheir staff told me they have policy about renewal under on their invoices before that they are legible to charge but I have never see that policy other Apparently, it is hidden with no words to trigger click such as "more information"The unclarity and invisibility of their policy means it is a trap for consumersI have spoken to their staff Mec, Jec and Neil from customer service than a guy calls Pete from the billing apartment I would love to have this resolved as soon as possible

They are sending charges after my domain account has been inactive for two yearsIt's in their fine print apparently that they can keep charging you through PayPal for no services being provided, after your account has been closed for years Not only did they charge me, but it was at a much higher rate than what I had agreed to years ago Never sign on with a PayPal account! If I had not done that, they wouldn't have had a current form of payment on file to suddenly charge me out of nowhere There was no email or and correspondence to let me know it was 'billing time' either

I did not select auto renewal for my website domainThey apparently have a five day policy for cancelling domains; however, that is from the day the bill it, but it is definitely not the same day my credit card was chargedIn fact, when my credit card was charged without my consent, I called Go Daddy to get a refund, but because it was not in the five day window based on when they "billed it" they refused to do anythingThey would not even take the credit card off file despite me informing them that it is not my credit card any longerThey also increased the price and did not consult me to verify I still wanted the domain at that price

GoDaddy allow souphisticated spammers to park their domain and send mass spam from their site

I have been a godaddy customer for many years for both hosting and email services, Per the trend of the US godaddy iss forcing clients into alternative more costly email services and removing godaddy backup/sync services So I was forced into the goddady platform once my emails in godaddy began to disappear Today all emails, since September to now magically disappeared Godaddy does not have my years worth of emails backed up or synced So not all of my work, bid docs, contracts, letters, and more are gone and godaddy's response is to try to force an additional services with additional cost for a service that I have always had with the fees that I paid I was forced into a $platform that has lost ALL of my email history for the past year

I had the hosting of my website and emails connected or link to it since - with GoDaddyI had a Traumatic Brain Injury years ago, and I have been dealing with all the health issues a a result of a devastating car accidentToday 08/18/after a long time, I remember where some of my medical records were store, I attempted to access the email account I had since then - link to the hosting of my web site *** and I didn't remember the passwordAfter several attempts to log in, I called GoDaddy and spoke with a said man named Jake - he was extremely rude, unapologetic and sarcasticI try to explain to him that I wanted to access my email account, after the information was verified, he said your email doesn't exist anymore, and I asked what happened to all those files, I was told to review terms and conditions - I said, I can't, I have a TBI and im doing a big effort just trying to remember where did I store some of that informationI have been diminished and felt compl

ON JUNE 23,I RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM GODADDY ASKING ME TO RENEW MY DOMAIN NAME WITH THEM FOR $I DECLINED THEIR OFFER AND RETURNED AN EMAIL TO CANCEL MY BUSINESS WITH GODADDY, AS THE WEBSITE GOT NO HITS AND IT DIDN'T COME UP ON ANY OF THE SEARCH ENGINES WHICH GODADDY SAID IT WOULDON 6/23/17, GODADDY REMOVED $FROM MY CHASE DEBIT ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION
I HAVE CALLED GODADDY AND ASKED FOR A REFUND OF THE $THEY HAVE GIVEN ME THE RUNAROUND AND REFUSED TO REFUND THE MONEYTODAY, I RECEIVED ANOTHER EMAIL ASKING FOR $TO MAINTAIN MY DOMAINI HAVE CHANGED MY DEBIT CARD, SO THEY CAN'T TAKE ANY MORE MONEY

On January 17,I paid godaddy.com online $to host and secure my website ***On April 10, 2017, I tried to access *** and received an error message: "BAD REQUEST - INVALID HOST NAME."
I called godaddy.comThey stated that they do not "host" that website and did not know who does it for sureThey suggested "West Host" which I triedThey did not host it and I was referred to *** then *** then Domainsbyproxy.com who referred me back to godaddy.com
I attempted to stop automatic renewal by godaddy.com online and I received error messagesEven though their phone message states that I could send an email, I sent an email asking them to correct the website error message and to stop automatic renewal and ask for a refund for a product they are supposed to ensure but does not existI received an automatic email stating they cannot be reached by email
I called them today, on April 20,2017, asking them to correct the error or refund me and to stop auto

My credit card was charged for services I did not authorize.Be aware that when you call to complain to have the charges removed, the Service Representative will tell you that there is no one at Go Daddy who is capable of reversing the charge and that you are auto-enrolled in auto renewal when you sign up for a service
This is a deceiving consumer practiceI also spoke with a Go Daddy Manager named Jenna and advised them that I would be filing a consumer complaint with my state of residence to contest the charge
She stated there is nothing she can do because of policy and that there is no one else for me to speak with to contest the charge at Go Daddy.Stay away
