Myself and Mr *** *** purchased a domain name for Godaddy in Everything was fine until Jan I received and email from Godaddy that my account information had been changedI tried to logged into my account but login information and pin had been changedMy web site became inaccessible because my domain name was turned offAlso the same day dollars was taken from my PayPal account I called Godaddy and they informed me I need to write ***@godaddy.com to change everything backThey informed me there was a issue with the domain nameI said my account may have been hacked, but the said no it was not hacked but under reviewI said how can you place my domain name under review and still take money from my account? They said another company took my domain name and there was nothing they could do about itPaypal agreed that the money was taken fraudulently and refunded my money in fullGodaddy said it would be days for the review, that was on Jan and s

I changed my checking account last year and inadvertantly failed to update my GoDaddy account I received a renewal notic email from GoDaddy in November informing me that my domain had been automatically renewed You an imagine my confusion when I received a collection notice, yes collection notice, right before Christmas I called GoDaddy and they advised me they use a vendor (Certegy Check Services Inc) to collect money from check accounts I never received any communication from this company at all They simply sent me to a collection agency and I had to figure it all out on my own I closed my account with GoDaddy as I have no desire to work with a company that choices their vendors with no apparent regard to how they treat customers Google now has my business and will forever
When I called to cancel my account they were more than happy to close it for me, no questions asked Apparently they have so many clients they don't care about the ones they lose

Godaddy mistakenly charged my credit card instead of using in-store credit, then charge me admin fees, not only that they are not making any sense to delete my email box *** that I used for a long time for the error they made and lying saying cancelled my domain, they actually hid it and not let me to access the DNS zone file and charge me for admin fees

Today, 01-20-at 12:PM every product I have with Godaddy stopped working due to an expired SSL certificate for their cpanel ***
I have spent over hours on the line being transferred from department to department being told that it would be an additional $for me to use a service is that is paid through 11-Godaddy has violated their 99.9% service uptime guarantee and when I ask to speak to a manager I get my call put back into the endless call queue just to speak to another rep

GO Daddy made unauthorized charges to my credit card I have purchases domain names, and only domain names, from them in the past Today they out of the blue charged my credit card $for Personal Website Builder Renewal and Office Starter Email Renewal How can this be a renewal if I never purchased it in the first place Beware!

On February 20, I paid $to GoDaddy for web hosting serviceAfter that, I asked them to cancel my order and asked them refund money
But they said they can not refund the money because it passed days period
I thought I have to use their web hosting service to utilize my already paid money of $
When I request to use the already paid money to web hosting service, surprisingly, they said I have to pay again because the payment of $was lost because of cancelling
I never experienced canceling make my paid money to disappear completely
I just want to make use of the paid money of $

I purchased Microsoft Office (year K) on 9/12/through GoDaddy, the host of my domain I asked about email hosting and cloud services and was sold this product
Since that time, I have had several issues with the product and every time I call GoDaddy customer service, and they don't know how to address my issue, they tell me that they do not support the product and refer me to Microsoft
The first -times this happened, I called Microsoft and was told that Microsoft would not provide free support since I had purchased the product from GoDaddy Microsoft will only support the product at a cost that I was quoted as $400+ for a single phone service call
I have spent countless hours on the phone arguing with GoDaddy about this issue to no avail
The product has never done what I need it to do - i.e., provide cloud services for client files - and I want my money back
GoDaddy is refusing to refund my money because it is past the days
I want my full $

GoDaddy cut off my email I called to find out what the problem was and GoDaddy said my domain name had expiredThey would reinstate my domain name if they were paid a large penaltyWhen I asked why I hadn't received a bill or notification they claimed that they had sent several to two email addressesNeither address received the emails GoDaddy claimed to have sentI inquired if this was a business practice GoDaddy used to generate income, they said "no" and they would lower my "penalty payment"I'm not sure who regulates GoDaddy but if this is an ongoing practice , GoDaddy should be punishedI had this domain name for over years and was told if I didn't pay the penalty this name would be auctioned off at a possibly much higher price than the "penalty fee"In order to keep my domain name I paid GoDaddy's "penalty fee" with a terrible taste in my mouthIf you want a domain name you can keep without paying "penalties" don't use GoDaddy

Unfortunately, I am unable to select more than reason as the Primary Nature of My Complaint herein but please note this also includes: "Customer Service Issues." Just moments ago I experienced YET ANOTHER misinformed rep & spurious charges, prompting this long overdue complaint for another situation!
I've been a customer with GoDaddy since Over that time I've spent thousands of dollars on several domains & other servicesOver a year or ago I switched all things over to include hosting, email-marketing etcNotwithstanding such, at the turn of the year, my sites were terminated as products were cancelled, etcI had never had this happen before but I assumed all responsibility & sought acceptable options per my businessUnfortunately I was 1st charged for a SSL Cert & an email address to include Office having, at the time, no knowledge that my websites content would not be recovered for restoration
On Feb 1st I spoke with a representative about my

GoDaddy retains credit card / personal information after purchases, and do not have the authorization to do so When speaking with the representatives of the company, it is stated that credit card information is needed to be maintained in order to renew the domains / accounts / services When completing purchases, there is an option that allows for "auto-renewal" (yes / no) When selected "No" there is no other indications that information is retained for any reason whatsoever, no statement that financial information is retained, nothing in writing Searching www.godaddy.com/legal, when directed by company representatives to read in order to justify this companies' actions, fail to direct to exact title, section, paragraph, subparagraph to which it states that they are retaining financial information in order to maintain 'their records'

Hi,
I was charged an $redemption fee for a site that I did not receive any notices regarding it expiring Once someone notified me that my site was down, I went to renew right away I think it is inappropriate to not send renewal notices I had happily signed up for years, but without a clue as to it expiring, I had no reason to revisit the site after years
Once it expired, I was unable to transfer out the site to another host without paying the redemption fee I absolutely do not mind keeping it at GoDaddy, but it felt like my domain was held hostage

Each year they send an email regarding renewalsEach year you have to enter your online account to accept or notEach year your password won't workEach year you have to call them to remedy(Or else they will bill you.)
This year, after days of phone calls, emails, etc, they switched it up and wouldn't even make it possible for me to enter into my own accountThe real scam is that they won't even let you cancel your account unless you can access your accountSo I will now have to contact my bank to cancel the payments

GoDaddy can no longer support forwarding URL'sI have worked with them for more than years and since they upgraded their site, the forwarding URL's add garbage when they transferie *** the url adds these crazy letters to the end of the url, *** which makes it return a error codeI have forwarding URLsNow broken URL'sThey say they can't fix it so I was forced to move them to another companyNow, if I total up all the the unused fees I paid (since some of the url's are renewed for several years) it is $It's not in their policy to refund it, even though they can't deliver what I purchasedThey are not telling customers their system is broke, they just let you find out on your own and continue to pay for something they can't deliverThis is the only time I have ever had a problem with GoDaddy and I'm so thankful, I didn't loose more money

This morning, I purchased a domain name that was at auction for $I clicked "buy it now" and was prompted to sign up for an account and give my billing info, which I didThroughout the purchase process, there were no checkmarks incorporating my understanding or agreement to any special policies, or even any links in fine print beneath any of the purchase stating "by clicking purchase, you agree..." etcAfter my purchase, I went to try and access the domain in my account to transfer it to an existing website built on a different platform, but my account showed domainsI did the live chat, where I was connected with someone named *** told me that I would not be able to see the domain in my account until the redemption period for the original owner expired on October 23rdI had no idea that I wouldn't be able to use the domain for weeks, and would never have purchased if I had known thatI told him as much and he asked if I wanted to process a refundI said yes, and he

This is a bad site Charge you for everything not a one price fits all outfit No cancellation policy would not recommend to any startups or anybody for that fact

In September, I signed up with GoDaddy for a package of domain services on behalf of La Petite Maison, Incof which I was an executive On March 8, I wrote GoDaddy at its corporate address stating that La Petite Maison, Inchad discontinued operations and requesting that the domain name be cancelled as well as the termination of all related services
On August 12, they billed me for $on my American Express card for services related to La Petite Maison, Incand when I disputed the transaction they provided Amex with an "automatic renewal invoice." Now they've charged my Amex card on 9/12/for an additional $
They ended email services for this account months ago, presumably resulting from my 3/8/notification that the company had discontinued operations They have no right to exercise an automatic renewal clause when they were clearly notified that the subject company for which the domain was created, and for which all related services were c

In January I ordered a domain and hosting services from GoDaddy, cr *** email address ***The last digits of the card charged were *** with a billing address of ** *** ** Oxford, OX6PEI cancelled this order days later, via telephone after no less than minutes on hold and being transferred and disconnected and calling back, etcI was told the account would be cancelled and closedDespite this, I was being charged monthly, sometimes twice monthly, for services I had cancelled and was not usingIn addition, certain charges were charged to the account that I had NEVER approved in the first place and never received a receipt or invoice forI have attempted to call GoDaddy times and have been transferred and disconnected all three timesMy inability to resolve the problem and have the illegal charges removed is why I have decided to file a Revdex.com Complaint

I purchased a domain a while back The business use is no longer valid as the business never got under way I was charged a TEN year renewal service for a domain name that I have absolutely no use for I asked for a refund and was quoted some small print pilferage justifier I the asked for a reduction to a year renewal and was again referred to the small print I was not afforded a copy of the small print and was directed to their website to look for it on my own This is highway robber y at its most classic
domain = gocleland.com

On 1/4/18, I paid GoDaddy $for a year Unlimited Business Email Plan ($per month)On 8/24/18, I transferred all of my email accounts out of GoDaddy and into Google G Suite Therefore, as of 8/24/18, I was no longer using GoDaddy's email service I called at least times and spoke with Billing representatives and Manager, requesting a refund for the remaining months on my plan, since I'll no longer be using their service They all refused to refund me I stated that the reason I pulled my email accounts from them was due to consistently horrible customer service and equally horrible technical support They failed to fix at least significant problems with my account over the past months Their excuse for providing poor service and poor support is that the email platform (Workspace) is old and their answer is for customers to upgrade to a more expensive platform (Office 365) They have no intention of fixing Workspace, therefore, I was forced to transfer
