On 02/03/at 8:09pm I purchased a year basic reseller plan from Godaddy.com, LLC for $however I was double charge for total of $can provide bank statement and as proof and the plan is Misleading and is more like an affiliate program then a reseller I have contact Godaddy.com, LLC customer service times with unsuccessful results being Transferred from one department to the next and being placed on hold this issue has been on going for almost months What Godaddy.com, LLC did is theft all I ask for is my money back and Cancel the "reseller account"

Friday, May 11, 2018, GoDaddy automatically renewed my domain, directhitonline.com, charging me $for identification protection, which I did not request or want I called GoDaddy, spoke with *** the supervisor who said he would remove the protection feature but threatened if he had to refund the protection fee, they would take my domain from meI told them not to take my domain, I would pay for the renewalFinally he said he would let my domain in my name
Today, I find out *** took my domain name which has been mine business domain for years

I attempted to cancel my web hosting product with godaddy, a service costing $179/yearInstead of cancelling I unintentionally 'deleted' the product from my accountI thought the matter closed and was expecting a refundHowever, when no refund occurred I called to inquire whyAt the time of my call it was days after the point at which I 'deleted' the product from my accountI was told that the refund return policy is days and that I should have cancelled the product and not deleted itI was told it is my fault that I 'deleted' the product that I purchasedNothing in their documentation including any email received indicated this situation to me, otherwise I would have called prior to the day refund deadlineI do not expect to have to pay for a service that, according to the customer service representative, I "paid for and then threw in the trash"Rather, their policies should be more forthcoming in the difference and be more customer friendly

I am a small business owner that relies on my website to generate businessOn December 13th, I cancelled my domain with GoDaddy so that I could give my site an updated look with ***Also, *** offered a free domain with the purchase of a site, so I wanted to get the domain through them since it was free, and I wouldn't have to pay for another year with GoDaddyHowever, despite cancelling my domain with GoDaddy, it wasn't released immediately, so I called GoDaddy's customer service and spoke with Ben, and he said the domain would need to go through a release process that takes daysSo I waited until January 13, 2017, but the domain still wasn't releasedThen I noticed they had placed the domain into Auction status, and when I contacted GoDaddy again, they told me it would be in Auction status for an additional daysSo again I waited until February 13th, but the domain still was not releasedI called GoDaddy customer service again and was told the

I did not select auto renewal for my website domainThey apparently have a five day policy for cancelling domains; however, that is from the day the bill it, but it is definitely not the same day my credit card was chargedIn fact, when my credit card was charged without my consent, I called Go Daddy to get a refund, but because it was not in the five day window based on when they "billed it" they refused to do anythingThey would not even take the credit card off file despite me informing them that it is not my credit card any longerThey also increased the price and did not consult me to verify I still wanted the domain at that price

They are sending charges after my domain account has been inactive for two yearsIt's in their fine print apparently that they can keep charging you through PayPal for no services being provided, after your account has been closed for years Not only did they charge me, but it was at a much higher rate than what I had agreed to years ago Never sign on with a PayPal account! If I had not done that, they wouldn't have had a current form of payment on file to suddenly charge me out of nowhere There was no email or and correspondence to let me know it was 'billing time' either

In I received a notice in the mail from Go Daddy that my domain name was about to expire so I called to discuss possible options such as synchronizing the renewal of my domain name and the hosting of my web siteAlso, I asked about possible options regarding the length of agreements for both hosting and domain nameI was told I could renew the domain name for two years as this would have the hosting agreement and domain name renewing at about the same timeI also was told that at the time of the next renewal I could call and discuss options for the length of both agreements since I was not absolutely certain that I wanted an agreement for another five yearsI also asked if I would receive a mailed notice, as I had twice previously, at the time of the next renewal as well as email and I was assured that both these things would occurI also stated that I preferred to pay for the renewal myself and not auto payI then paid for the domain renewal fee as a onetime charge on a Cit

The worse experience everI am only giving them one star because I have to select oneThis company deserves a big zeroI am a small business owner and wanted to put a website together for my business but since I am not a professional website builder, I needed their support and had some issues I need them to help me with, but every time I called them for help, they told me I did not have the correct package, so they kept charging me to upgrade every timeThey will not give you a solution to your problems when you call them and they are not trained properly in their tech support department They are however very well trained to keep selling you more and more products for every time you call them and need their helpThey are rude and do not care about their paying customersIf you do not keep upgrading their packages, they will cut you lose in a second They have no care about all the work you put into building your website, they will delete it in a second if you do not keep paying them more moneyI am very disappointed and wasted my time with them For the price they charge we would think we would get great serviceDo not fall into the hype of their commercial advertising, it is a scam and their packages are miss-leadingBeware, do not use this company

I was trying to consolidate two accounts into oneThe current setup didn't allow for the renewal of my websiteI was constantly given the run around about eliminating two step verification for the changesIt was well documented that I had access to these accounts and yet tech support was useless
The domain expired and I lost the websiteI paid for the accounts to become current, including an $"to push a button key"Then I find out that they deleted my web pagesI pursued a chat to correct this issueI was informed that "it's gone, can't get it back"After complaining about all the $ I've spent on this, like magic, they inform me that it can be retrieve for $"to push a button"They're costing me $ in lost business
Then I find out my email isn't receiving emailsEvery time I try solving this problem, I'm on hold 20-minthen speak with a CS repGo through the problemThey inform me there is nothing wrong, so I need to speak with tech supportSince I run a biz, time to sit on the phone is a problem and sitting on hold for another 20-minwon't work
It's Sunday and the wait is minto do the same thing all over againI'm not optimisticI would highly recommend that business owners stay away from GoDaddy

Godaddy has asked me to pay $to renew my web domainThe agreement I made a year wgo when purchasing tis domain was a renewal price of $and they are not honoring this price nowThey lied to me and are completely being unfairI argued with them yesterday on the phone and they would not honor the original price that I agreed onAlso, I noticed that my account is unable to use coupon codes, but collegues of mine are able to use the same coupon codesWhich means, they have blocked my account from being able to use coupon codesThey claim that the did not block my account from using coupon codes but I have read complaints online of them doing the same thing to other customersI am unhappy and would like to renew my web domain capitalecreative.com at the $price that I agreed onThis is going to hurt my business because ym web domain and online prescence is now I jeopardy

I had the hosting of my website and emails connected or link to it since - with GoDaddyI had a Traumatic Brain Injury years ago, and I have been dealing with all the health issues a a result of a devastating car accidentToday 08/18/after a long time, I remember where some of my medical records were store, I attempted to access the email account I had since then - link to the hosting of my web site *** and I didn't remember the passwordAfter several attempts to log in, I called GoDaddy and spoke with a said man named Jake - he was extremely rude, unapologetic and sarcasticI try to explain to him that I wanted to access my email account, after the information was verified, he said your email doesn't exist anymore, and I asked what happened to all those files, I was told to review terms and conditions - I said, I can't, I have a TBI and im doing a big effort just trying to remember where did I store some of that informationI have been diminished and felt compl

I signed up with godaddy months ago and from day to get them to correct the problems I was having with the lack of picture detail I needed at my online store
For months, they kept me trying different things ,some at more cost to me none of which worked
I signed up for a yr commitment and finally, after getting tired of the run around, cancilled allWhen I called for a partial refund, they said "oh,it is outside of our day window, sorry we do not give refunds after that
They strung me along long enough to keep me from any kind of refundBad bussineess practice at least
I want the remaining portion of my money refunded due to thier practicesNo one mentioned a day refund policy Someone should have instead of dragging it out when they knew full well that it would never work the way I needed it toWhy did they not just say so up front? One reason, to get me to be hopeful it would work and keep all of my money

I've been a loyal customer for over yearsI have also referred dozens of other customersWith that being said, my hosting account had an issue with billing that I was unaware ofApparently the credit card on file (which was set to auto-pay) had expiredThey're claiming that they emailed me, but didn'tI even checked my spam folders to make sureThey deleted my hosting account and are insisting on charging me $to restore my filesI realize the mistake I made was not having a backup of my filesBut I trusted GoDaddyI no longer doThis is harming my business, as this website is used for suchI hardly ever login directly to GoDaddy, since I can manage my site through the Wordpress interfaceSo I wouldn't have seen a billing notificationTo top all of this offmy billing is ONE DAY lateONE DAY! After over years of being a customer, and referring thousands of dollars to GoDaddy, they can't waive a one-time fee of $140?!? They DID NOT email me or otherwise attempt

I have been a godaddy customer for many years for both hosting and email services, Per the trend of the US godaddy iss forcing clients into alternative more costly email services and removing godaddy backup/sync services So I was forced into the goddady platform once my emails in godaddy began to disappear Today all emails, since September to now magically disappeared Godaddy does not have my years worth of emails backed up or synced So not all of my work, bid docs, contracts, letters, and more are gone and godaddy's response is to try to force an additional services with additional cost for a service that I have always had with the fees that I paid I was forced into a $platform that has lost ALL of my email history for the past year

I registered for godaddy.com and bought our domain name from them along with others It came with or I further purchased email with them as well A few years into the service, after I renewed my contract, they started having computer issues and I couldn't get into godaddy or my email Customer service said that they were updating their service and that they new they were having issues So they told me that I woud have to upgrade to their new program for years to have my service work correctly and to stop being locked out of my account I continued to try to get into godaddy and I couldn't I also couldn't get into my email So eventually I had to change my email to a google email address Godaddy, despite my not being able to get on the site, continues to auto bill me on my domain names and I am not able to get into my account to stop it I have been on the phone with them again this evening for an hour *** Min Iowa says that he is the "highest point of contact in the c

Hello, In I made my own web site on Go-daddy.com for nearly a year I was unable to find my site by typing in key words In other words, if I type in safer now security, which is the name of my company, I was unable to find the site I believed I had done something wrong in building the site, so in January of this year I decided to pay a Go-daddy to build the site for me During conversations I was assured by Go-daddy employees that If I paid $to have them build my site for me, then it would be able to be found using key words, I just want to be found using the company name and Indianapolis, or Indiana I was asked questions about where I most wanted the site to be linked to for marketing purposes, I bought two versions of search engine visibility, and I was assured that when the site was done after weeks it would work properlyit doesn't I spoke to Cesar P who said that It will not be found on internet unless $per hour to have them fix it In addition a

Contract with GoDaddy # *** in the name of *** ***On February 18, 2018, I spoke to Godaddy to see if I could cancel the hosting I had hired for three years and if they could return the moneyThe person who answered told me that if they reimbursed the money proportional to what I had already used during the contract, that there was no problem and that the domain that had been given to me from could still be kept free of chargeAfter making all the changes in the new hosting of the website of the company *** S.A., configuring the emails in the new servers, I called Godaddy to cancel the hosting and they told me that they could not return the money; I asked to speak with a supervisor who told me that if that was what I had been promised that GoDaddy would respect, that I would review the recordingAfter reviewing the recording he told me that this was indeed what they had promised and that they would reimburse me for the money, which has never happenedOn May 7,

I have been a customer for a few months I was dissatisfied with the service that I was receiving so I transferred my domain to another web-host provider Go Daddy failed to allow me to transfer successfully They held back pertinent information that I needed to input to allow me to perform this process I had to call and speak to the supervisor, which advanced me a little bit They seemed to have taken me as a joke The emailed me certain information, but they failed to send me the correct information I( went back and forth from website companies where they seemed to be working together to halt my business practices I finally spoke with someone who was not an american who seem not to want to block me but help me and I got a little closer to transferring my email This process of transferring my domain and my email services have taken nearly months where I lost business opportunities

GoDaddy is the worst platformI am trying to update a website for a clientGoDaddy knowingly admits they have servers running php v4, and that their virtual environment is open to other security risks like DDoS attacks, hacks, SQL injections, etc., but they refuse to do anything about itIf you want to run a simple Wordpress site, or other CMS system, it will not function properly with anything lower than php if you plan to have any current functionality from current versions of WP itself, themes or plugins
Additionally, refusing to update their server environments leaves every client on these servers in jeopardyThey do this because they want the customer to upgrade to a more expensive VPS plan, which simply isn't needed for a small websiteThey are a total scam and they will happily put anyone's website at risk for their own financial gain
Never ever go with GoDaddy if you want a secure virtual environment

In December, our primary business changed ownershipThe ownership change includes transfer of the associated websiteWhile the transfer itself was not very smooth, I am bothered by the refund for services pieceWe are now reduced to a one income householdGo Daddy has issued an "in store" credit for refund instead of sending a check or refunding the method of paymentWe do not plan on using any of Go Daddy's services in the near future due to restricted income and because of this practice will most likely not use them in the futureThe in store credit feels as though they are trapping use to use their business again
