The hosting provider failed to notify that the hosting cpanel was expiring as (all email boxes checked)and deleted our website from the server without our knowledgeIn reaching out to the company they now say they are unable to recover due to their own error

Recently renewed multiple domains at Godaddy, then modified one, resulting in a credit of $ Instead of issuing us a credit on our credit card, they put the credit into a special holding account without notifying usWhen we found out about this, we asked if the credit would be applied to upcoming bills, and were told No We then asked what the credit would be used for, we were told it would not be used unless we contacted them and specifically asked for a refund In other words, they will keep your money indefinitely unless you specifically contact them and direct them to issue a refund
I believe that Godaddy is not an ethical business

I had purchased a Domain name in and fought to cancel it about a year ago When I first signed up they offered free domain protection which I acceptedI just got a bill from these thieves for $for domain protection - even though I dont have a domain anymoreThey decided to start charging for domain protection without any notification to me and without my authorizationThen I tried to cancel it, I called them times and spent hours trying to re cancel their service that I didnt even sign up forI finally got it started but they put a day delay on it, thats just there process they sayI have never seen such blatant theft from a large company and I cant believe they are allowed to continue to do itIm sure Im not the only one to make this complaintThere behavior needs to be stopped

I was recently billed for an auto renew annual membershipThis membership is not something I am interested in and I was not aware it was going to auto renewI called to ask for the charge to be reversed and was told it was non refundableHow is a charge I was not even aware of non refundable?

Godaddy deleted my website without letting me knowI should have been notified prior to their decision
I spent over $5,on my website trusting Godaddy as a safe place for my website and files
I also spent about hours in work editing and perfecting my website
I'm requesting a full refund of all money that I have ever paid to the company for all sites and services
I would like to get this resolved before taking the matter to court
Customers have the right to be properly notified

I paid for domain buy service in July of I still haven't gotten a call or email or letter from go daddy with any answers or feed back I contacted them several times asking about it and what was they outcome and they had no answers for me it is now September this is not right not how you should treat your customers I was was very happy when I signed up with go daddy I had faith in them

Over a year ago, I was contacted by GoDaddy about the ability to participate in an auction service to obtain certain URL's, as there was one in particular that was going up for auction So I paid my $for the Auctions access I was not told that this access would be setup on an auto-renewal basis I consequently was able to purchase the domain name through their auction that I wanted Fast forward to nearly a year later and I was sent an email saying that they were trying to renew my $purchase I tried replying to the email to say that I didn't wish them to do this, yet they did it anyway I've been enrolled in many auto-renewal programs throughout my life, even though I'm not fond of them So I contacted GoDaddy to ask for a refund of this $charge I was told by their customer service rep and a Manager that they simply couldn't or wouldn't refund this $charge I threatened to pull my other services and they just said that if I needed to do this, that was fine I do not appreciate these tactics and feel that they are underhanded, and when my domain hosting comes to a conclusion, I will be looking for another company to do business with, as I do not appreciate these kinds of tactics Very poor customer service and it's amazing that they would risk a bad review and losing a larger level of business over $

This company support is absolutely by far the worst support on this planet, not only is this effecting my business, but I have no control over anything, they chose to respond days after and are not willing to help with solving the problemThey are trying to resolve problems by charging more money for things I do not need, almost as extortion to purchase additional services
I have a shared hosting account that was hacked, so I removed all the malicious content, it took them over days to review, I called everyday for days STRAIGHT from June 6th, its is now the 14thThey are trying to get me to buy a service to scan the files all the other website are saying my site is fine, GOOGLE, SUCURI, and othersEven after all the hassle the tech support team has still not given me a scan of the malicious files once again they want me to buy a serviceI have siteground and bluehost they help me find the files not to compromise the serviceI think go-daddy injects the files to flag their own servers to charge clients moneyI been with godaddy for over years now
Ultimately my busy season selling tickets online is this week, and I have no way of getting them the tickets I AM DEAD IN THE WATER! They could careless, one of the worst businesses ever, they should be shut down and sued

I purchased a website through GoDaddy in September for a new business I startedIt was a year "contract" Unfortunately, months later, roughly April/May I closed down my business I contacted GoDaddy then to close out the account and asked to take down the website since the business is no longer open I was told it was a year contract and that I could use it for something else At the time I told them I would consider that It has now been months after the business closed and I decided I for sure do not need the website for any reason I called and asked GoDaddy to for sure take down the website and also totally close everything out That there is no way it would be used for anything They told me they could not They don't issue refunds after days after the item is purchased I told them it doesn't make since, since the business is closed that I couldn't get a prorated refund of the amount that was paid for the website It doesn't make since to be pay

Horrible up time and even more horrible and incompetent tech support
Have a site a that's been running slow the last couple weeks and today it's bee down several hours and techs are unable to resolve my issue
Stay away from these overpriced horrible hosting providers

I have never run into a company that is as unapologetic and incompetent as GoDaddy The platform is horrible, there are repeated problems and they even erased my former email service prior to the 14-day deadline They take no accountability for their mistakes and I wish to see these issues escalated I am under contract with them until February but this needs to be fixed for other customers as they have a horrible reputation

Last year I purchased domains with go daddy web services and enabled two step verification for security since then I got rid of that phone number and no longer have it(Because of security reasons) I called to asked them to change the number so I can access my account on 7/20/The only way to remove the two step verification OR change the phone number is to disable the whole two step verificationThey said that I could not disable it over the phone or updated it and asked me to go to a site and upload my id, and fill out a form requesting it which I didI got a reply days later saying I didn't fill it out with the right emailThen I replied using the right email, then days later they said they replied to me which I never gotSince then I have the same form to the same email multiple times and got a response on 8/(one month later) saying they replied to another emailMy domains are expiring in November and I need to seek them or renew the, so they are not lost and

Unless you purchase their “privacy” product which they charge you monthly product for they will sell your email to everyone, I literally have my email, and cell phone flooded overnight with “offers” sales pitches, was even included in some ridiculous chain email who no person knew who the other people wereMany of the sites with “offers” when trying to unsubscribe showed a MalWare warningGreat job strong arming your customersHorrible customer service and protections, the chat person told me I have to but their privacy for it to take place in 2-weeksNo where on the site does it say anything about this and further more, this was after my 3rd domain purchase in over years, this purchase is the only one I had this problem with so they have certainly changed the way they do business

I sent emails and call them again and again , but no response
This behaviors looks like robbery
If they got any information with problem content or behaviors
We are happy to remove these contents even the whole site permanently and add pending system

I work in IT and have worked in the hosting industry so I know this is patently the truth is they can look at server logs to diagnose why my site is going offlineSites do not just go offline without their being a cause and server logs would let them diagnose
Anyways I did not have these issues with my site when hosted with a competitor and feel like I am not getting the service I paid for when my site slows down or is unreachable a few times per day on most daysThis impacts my business and makes
