I was re billed for two years for account # *** for providing a domain name and two years of webbuilder I am no longer with this group and left over months ago and gave the new leadership the login and password info I thought they had changed the account over to be billed for the charges I am only asking for the webbuilder to be refunded because this service is has never been used The domain name I am not asking for because they are using the domain name and I do not want to take their website down and treat them the same way Godaddy's customer service is treating me in the matter I was told by David I had by contract days to cancel and I missed the window by two days He is very condescending in dealing with customers and I asked to speak with his supervisor and he told me his supervisor would tell me the same thing I asked to speak to his supervisor and he put me on hold and told me his supervisor would not talk to me and he was not going to refund the charge
When going to GoDaddy.com to purchase a new domain I was given very specific yearly prices for the domains, for the privacy package, and monthly pricing for the hosting After selecting the items in the purchase area and having been given very specific prices I continued to the check out After proceeding to check out, additional items and terms were added, inflating the total times
After running into this issue I contact online chat support to resolve the issue I was connected with Manuel who was very abrupt, rude, and arrogant I was finally able to convince him to give me his email address at ***@godaddy.com, to send him screen shots of the pricing I was given when going through the selection process He then stated that since he could not locate those screen there was nothing he could do Through out most of the conversation he implied that I was either ignorant or a liar
This seems like a very obvious bait and switch tactic on advertising one price, while
After not using Godaddy's service for over months they charged me a renewal fee, and when I attempted to
1) Disable autorenewal or remove my credit card the site would not allow me to do so
2) When I called to file a complaint with the company they had multiple challenge questions to actually get to a live person where I needed to know a random customer #, a call in pin,
3) The did remove autorenewal from my account
3) After talking to the support person and their manager they refused to refund any of their fees and further the manager at godaddy refused to provide me a name for himself or his manager They also refused to allow me to record the call
Two problems:
Godaddy charged my card without my permissionAfter initially purchasing a domain from them I went back into settings and turned auto renewal offa year later, after the domain would have expired, they renewed anywayWhen I called customer service to explain the mistake, the person I spoke to claimed that it wasn't a mistake, he further claimed that it was mandatory to accept auto renewal in order to purchase a domainWhen I said that I don't believe that true, because I turned it off he became very rude and impatient and said that I cannotKnowing that he was mistaken I asked to speak to his supervisorHe put me on hold for several minutes and came back on the line and asked, "It's gunna be a while are you really gunna hold?" When I replied that I did intend to he uttered an intelligible guttural sound and place me back on holdAs time more time passed he came back and said "its gunna be a long time you know"I replied that this was OK and he placed me back o
I have an account with GoDaddy AuctionsI have sold a domain name on May 6th and have received payment for it for the amount of $after commission feesLater on, on May 26th 2016, I have sold another domain name for $- and have not received the payment for it - although the domain was transferred to the buyer - per the agreement
GoDaddy claims that they have sent out two payments for $on May 19th and May 20th - but I have received only one payment
GoDaddy refused to pay the proceeds from the second domain sale
Godaddy.com was my website builder for nine or almost years In March 2016, godaddy.com deleted my website in spite of my payments of $each monthAccording to go daddy.com people, the people receiving my payments do not know where to post my payments so it is sitting in a bucket somewhere (as accountant, we call that suspense account) and not being posted to my account I only have one account so how difficult is it to figure out where to post a $monthly payment when there is only one account for a specific customerI have contacted them several times about this issue, but they could no longer bring my website on line after the deletion One of the managers tried to persuade me to stay with godaddy.com to keep my business without giving me a reasonable discount for the damages that they caused me so I decided to transfer my domains somewhere else To make this story short, I called godaddy.com before the New Year's to request a refund for my payments (total of mo
I bought domains and they are good until June May 1st godaddy took money out of my *** account to extend for another yearI didn't ask for this!
They claim that auto renewal is a service so the customer will not forget to extent and make extra costsBut if this was a service to make sure I don't forget, then you would not force me to extend another year while I don't want tooI have paid till end of next month and that is enough
The so called "service" seems to be a tax for the unknowingAfter calling godaddy they told me that they couldn't refund the money...WHY NOT? The money for the new year is not even due until the end of next monthThis is clearly money hunger, not service
They told me that It was the policy of the registarNo idea, but I called with the number in Holland they gave meThe people their told me to talk to godaddy so that didn't help much
What I need to know is who am I dealing withgodaddy or the company in Holland? Beca
I had no idea that there was a problem with a billing issue on my account and I was not once contacted, instead the company sent the problem right to a collection agencyI plan to get rid of all my domain names and products with this company and move them elsewhereYou lost my business and I will do everything in my power to make sure anyone I know never does business with this company either
I was lead to believe by customer service rep and website that I was getting a web page for years for the aggreed price I paidLater I was told to keep my page running I must pay an additional fees monthly or yearly
No where on their website, by the rep I spoke with before I purchased,or at checkout was it explained that these extra services would need to be purchased to keep my site running
GoDaddy sells bundles on their services which are add-ons and already included in your purchaseBe diligent and pay attention to these unnecessary charges and unwanted services on a monthly renewalYou must cancel within hours
Have a server plan with this company and have had nothing but issues I spent days addressing issues last weekend which they refused to address Supervisors would not get on the phone to assist other than thru another party to offer discounts due to the issues that are still to be resolved I have emailed my primary contact and still have not heard back from them I emailed sales, support, webmaster and anyone/everyone that I could along with phone calls I also have an open ticket for unresolved portion of the issues that still exist today
I reviewed my recent statement that revealed a charge of $ 187,96, dated 10/15/16, of which I was not familiar with, so I asked them to dispute the charge contacted GoDaddy On 11/10/16, produced an invoice for web hosting This was for a business that I closed down In addition,, there was a policy note that I had days from the time of the invoice to contact GoDaddy to have the charges refunded Since is my billing agent, I contacted them GoDaddy is telling me that since I did not contact them directly, and may have contacted a department other than the billing department, I am outside the day window and they will not refund me these funds, even though they did admit this is a pre-billing that extends thru 10/15/ I've since cancelled this service as the business does not exist, yet they are holding firm and not refunding the funds I clearly contacted them, thru as I should, since they are the billing agent and acting on my behalf

websiteI had cancelled this website some time agoI was told that I only cancelled part of the websiteThe person I talked too said she would stop future billings but would not credit my account for the $ I then checked the website and found that GoDaddy was trying to sell the website name and claimed that the website was parked for free as a courtesyMost people probably wouldn't go to the trouble to deal with an amount this small Godaddy could be scamming millions by their business practices
Go Daddy had a "system error" and the domain name that I had purchased and had a receipt for was still up for sale for more than days after my purchaseI also was not able to work on it or see it in my accountThey had to re process my orderI brought this to their attention not once but twice first they tried to assure me that it took time and it would be taken down, then the second go around they realized they had messed up and left my domain name up for sale for days putting me and my company at risk of having to fight to retrieve a domain name that I had already purchasedthis company is a jokeMy only compensation was a long conversation with an employee and a supervisor and what felt like a trap of their legal terms which basically stated that they aren't responsible for anything and wont refund anythingI will never purchase another domain name from them and I would recommend that no one else does either
GoDaddy auctions is part of "cheating"For paying $you will fight with automatic bidding system for last auction hourIf you see auction for example for 10$ - in last hour automatic bidding will play with you in game you can win only if ready to spend thousands dollars for domain(I assume there is possibility to put max amount)

Go Daddy will not remove payment information at the customer's requestResult is they have credit card billing capability that is not approved by the card holder

I was charged an $redemption fee for a site that I did not receive any notices regarding it expiring Once someone notified me that my site was down, I went to renew right away I think it is inappropriate to not send renewal notices I had happily signed up for years, but without a clue as to it expiring, I had no reason to revisit the site after years
