Godaddy deleted my website without letting me knowI should have been notified prior to their decision
I spent over $5,on my website trusting Godaddy as a safe place for my website and files
I also spent about hours in work editing and perfecting my website
I'm requesting a full refund of all money that I have ever paid to the company for all sites and services
I would like to get this resolved before taking the matter to court
Customers have the right to be properly notified

I transferred my domain name away from GoDaddy on 4/9/17, before it expired GoDaddy rejected the transfer because the email of the administrative contact had changed within days, even though ICANN (GoDaddy's regulator) does not allow GoDaddy to deny a transfer on this basis I spoke by phone to GoDaddy on the evening of 4/9/and was advised to send them an email and reinitiate the transfer on 4/10/ I was told that I am entitled to a day grace period after expiration to initiate the transfer Early on the morning of 4/10/17, they autorenewed the domain even though they knew I was transferring it away I immediately called and requested the autorenew to be undone The rep informed me that doing so would delete my domain name and they would deny me the mandatory day grace period The rep said to reinitiate the transfer and request a refund, which they would grant I did so, and today on 4/15/17, representative Chuck denied the refund and said, "there's nobody you ca

Ever since purchasing a domain name through GoDaddy, I have been receiving multiple phone calls every day from around the world on my personal cell phone advertising products and services that I never requestedI also receive mail to my home addressInitially the callers even said that they were affiliated with GoDaddy, but now they often hang up as soon as I answer or are simply recorded messagesI strongly believe that GoDaddy sold my personal phone number and home address to businesses all over the world without my consent

Worst customer service EVER Sell me to port out my existing number for a $a month plan days later when I call they tell me that I can't port it out to that plan and they messed up I have to pay $a month instead! (the old up-sell like the cable companies)
ZERO empathy, ZERO ownership of the problem and offered a measly amount and cut the service period in half from years to Even the Supervisor (or Admin as they call it) was horrible
Time to take domains and hosting elsewhere! DON'T TRUST THEM WITH SOMETHING LIKE A PHONE NUMBER WHERE THEY CAN ERR AND YOU LOOSE THE NUMBER
Buyer Beware!

I was recently billed for an auto renew annual membershipThis membership is not something I am interested in and I was not aware it was going to auto renewI called to ask for the charge to be reversed and was told it was non refundableHow is a charge I was not even aware of non refundable?

When I reviewed my Master Charge Statement, I noticed a charge from GoDaddy of $ I phoned their office to inquire what this charge was for I was informed that it was an automatic renewal of WalterFamilyWebsite.com
websiteI had cancelled this website some time agoI was told that I only cancelled part of the websiteThe person I talked too said she would stop future billings but would not credit my account for the $ I then checked the website and found that GoDaddy was trying to sell the website name and claimed that the website was parked for free as a courtesyMost people probably wouldn't go to the trouble to deal with an amount this small Godaddy could be scamming millions by their business practices

Complaint
When you leave, for bad service, you keep our domain names hostage, when we are the ones who paid, the rights of these, bravo! It is on that if there is a place where I can complain I will do it.Ok, I've closed my account at home But, I paid for my domain name pierrelachance.ca for year, I did not give you the rights and you have not refunded me this! And I want no refund, I want my rights in this field.RecentlyI paid for one year an amount of $ on 18/08/for this domain pierrelachance.ca so it does not belong to you.I did not pay to give it to you, if I had not bought it.After more than years as a customer thank you
I do not want to deal with you any more, but this product belongs to me.Your customer service is in FrenchNever your employees let me talk about explaining as soon as I wanted to put word, they cut me off which made me angry, already that you had spent a $ bill on my credit card without my permission .If the renew mode was in automatic mode

I have an account with GoDaddy AuctionsI have sold a domain name on May 6th and have received payment for it for the amount of $after commission feesLater on, on May 26th 2016, I have sold another domain name for $- and have not received the payment for it - although the domain was transferred to the buyer - per the agreement
GoDaddy claims that they have sent out two payments for $on May 19th and May 20th - but I have received only one payment
GoDaddy refused to pay the proceeds from the second domain sale

I purchased a website, URL, and email package from godaddy a few years ago I have renewed it annually with no problems This year I went to renew, and while I was a few days late, it said I could still renew I noticed the URL wasn't on my list for renewals I called in after I renewed the website and email and was told that I had cancelled the URL several weeks prior I did NOT cancel the URL because it's for a customer of mine who I handle the website I told them I needed the URL back and they told me there was nothing they could do I am now in a bind from Godaddy because my customer wants their website back up and I cannot deliver I am not sure what happened with the URL or why their system shows I cancelled it but I would not have cancelled it, and no one else has my username or password to access my Godaddy account

It saddens me that I have to write this letter due to the unprofessionalism and horrible experience I had with your
company on a recent transaction, especially being a long time customerOn 11/29/around 1AM I called your customer support department to follon a credit for an Office Business Premium account that I cancelled today that was purchased back in June of this yearI spoke to Jacob and he advised me the policy had changed that GoDaddy was no longer giving refunds on un-used subscriptionsI advised him that when I spoke to the sales representative back in June she advised me I could cancel anytime and get a store credit for the un-used portion if I paid for the whole year up front, which I didIt’s obvious I was not told the truth back then, but nevertheless I asked Jacob to make an exception as I was not properly informed of this change and to please give me $credit which I could use for our annual GoDaddy SSL CertificateHe said “No” and then got an atti

I have a server which crashed I lost all my info from it
for now I have no server but go daddy wont refund me the rest of the server because I can erase all info from it and start it again
I believe they should take responsibility for our company that we lost all server info after the server crashed because of there faulty hardware and at least refund me
whats still left from my order number ***

I bought domains and they are good until June May 1st godaddy took money out of my *** account to extend for another yearI didn't ask for this!
They claim that auto renewal is a service so the customer will not forget to extent and make extra costsBut if this was a service to make sure I don't forget, then you would not force me to extend another year while I don't want tooI have paid till end of next month and that is enough
The so called "service" seems to be a tax for the unknowingAfter calling godaddy they told me that they couldn't refund the money...WHY NOT? The money for the new year is not even due until the end of next monthThis is clearly money hunger, not service
They told me that It was the policy of the registarNo idea, but I called with the number in Holland they gave meThe people their told me to talk to godaddy so that didn't help much
What I need to know is who am I dealing withgodaddy or the company in Holland? Beca

When going to GoDaddy.com to purchase a new domain I was given very specific yearly prices for the domains, for the privacy package, and monthly pricing for the hosting After selecting the items in the purchase area and having been given very specific prices I continued to the check out After proceeding to check out, additional items and terms were added, inflating the total times
After running into this issue I contact online chat support to resolve the issue I was connected with Manuel who was very abrupt, rude, and arrogant I was finally able to convince him to give me his email address at ***@godaddy.com, to send him screen shots of the pricing I was given when going through the selection process He then stated that since he could not locate those screen there was nothing he could do Through out most of the conversation he implied that I was either ignorant or a liar
This seems like a very obvious bait and switch tactic on advertising one price, while

I have been with GoDaddy for about ten years and never had a problem with any of my websites redirecting to other sitesI currently have five websites up on GoDaddy digitalseven.nyc thegrindny.com onythestory.com nylahd.com and brendan cochrane.com Recently GoDaddy purchased a company called *** which handles website ***tyAll of a sudden all of my websites are redirecting to other sites and having problems loading
GoDaddy told me to purchase SSL certificates which they maintained would make my sites secure and these problems would not occur anymoreThey also advised me to purchase the ***ty package which monitors and cleans your site and gives you regular checkupsNone of these additional products which cost me several hundred more dollars a year workThen a representative told me I need a firewall protection package which he indicated would be $70+ per month totalling over $year
I am maintaining that GoDaddy in conjunction with *** are looking at websites and

On January 24th, 2017, I called GoDaddy to inquire about upgrading my Wordpress hosting plan from Ultimate to DeveloperWith Ultimate, SEO came included, so I asked them if I were to upgrade if the SEO would still remain (as it's not included with Developer)The rep I spoke with advised me that the SEO would remain on the sites I am currently using it for but would not apply to any additional sites
On January 31st, 2017, I was ready to upgrade and inquired about this again via GoDaddy live chat just to make sureI spoke with Anj and they advised me that there would be NO SEO if I were to upgrade

The worse experience everI am only giving them one star because I have to select oneThis company deserves a big zeroI am a small business owner and wanted to put a website together for my business but since I am not a professional website builder, I needed their support and had some issues I need them to help me with, but every time I called them for help, they told me I did not have the correct package, so they kept charging me to upgrade every timeThey will not give you a solution to your problems when you call them and they are not trained properly in their tech support department They are however very well trained to keep selling you more and more products for every time you call them and need their helpThey are rude and do not care about their paying customersIf you do not keep upgrading their packages, they will cut you lose in a second They have no care about all the work you put into building your website, they will delete it in a second if you do not keep paying them more moneyI am very disappointed and wasted my time with them For the price they charge we would think we would get great serviceDo not fall into the hype of their commercial advertising, it is a scam and their packages are miss-leadingBeware, do not use this company

I was lead to believe by customer service rep and website that I was getting a web page for years for the aggreed price I paidLater I was told to keep my page running I must pay an additional fees monthly or yearly
No where on their website, by the rep I spoke with before I purchased,or at checkout was it explained that these extra services would need to be purchased to keep my site running

After 10+ years of paying for service, GoDaddy changed my permissions to my folders on my website WITHOUT my knowledge I am a web Developer and now my customers are down I was on the line for hours and still cannot get my clients websites online GoDaddy's customer service is a total waste of time After many years of payment GoDaddy doesn't care about the customers, they only care about the money they get each month
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Use any other company
I WILL be suing them for breach of ToS

I called Go Daddy in December of to cancel a domain name The representative explained a complex way to cancel which was difficult to understand He proceeded to sell me a membership worth $1,and reassured me if I joined this then I will have no further charges However, I was charged $for a "privacy protecter" feature a few days later I had spent an hour on the phone with the representative and understood that I would not be charged this amount if I paid the $1,for the club membership I called today and spent another hour on the phone and they refused to reimburse the $charge, even though I had already paid the $1,for membership They claim I was outside the day period - but I originally within this period and the representative did not clearly explain the process to cancel the domain All in all, it seems GoDaddy makes processes overwhelmingly complex and difficult to cancel accounts They also try to sell you on a new service when you call i

Over a year ago, I was contacted by GoDaddy about the ability to participate in an auction service to obtain certain URL's, as there was one in particular that was going up for auction So I paid my $for the Auctions access I was not told that this access would be setup on an auto-renewal basis I consequently was able to purchase the domain name through their auction that I wanted Fast forward to nearly a year later and I was sent an email saying that they were trying to renew my $purchase I tried replying to the email to say that I didn't wish them to do this, yet they did it anyway I've been enrolled in many auto-renewal programs throughout my life, even though I'm not fond of them So I contacted GoDaddy to ask for a refund of this $charge I was told by their customer service rep and a Manager that they simply couldn't or wouldn't refund this $charge I threatened to pull my other services and they just said that if I needed to do this, that was fine I do not appreciate these tactics and feel that they are underhanded, and when my domain hosting comes to a conclusion, I will be looking for another company to do business with, as I do not appreciate these kinds of tactics Very poor customer service and it's amazing that they would risk a bad review and losing a larger level of business over $
