To whom it may concern:
I have been a loyal customer of GoDaddy.com for a number of yearsThey have recently charged my credit card for a service that has no value to me and I did not request to purchaseAfter numerous requests for a refund and contact from an attorney, they have refused to return the feePer their representatives, they have a policy to charge customers regardless of whether they have written or verbal confirmation
It's unacceptable for a company to trick customers into continuing to pay for a service they don't need and didn't consent to pay forHaving a policy to send a commitment to purchase a service and charging a customer without having explicit confirmation should not be legalI did not benefit from their product or actively use itTheir policy cheats their customers out of their hard earned money and profits in a deceiving and dishonest manner
Consumers should be protected from such business practices and I would like help from this agency

I just find out, They were automatically charge my credit card every month for years, those options I didn't signed up for itGo to check your account under Renewal and Billing, Cancel everything you didn't sign up for it

I renewed domains weeks ago via godaddy.com and paid $ The GoDaddy added domain privacy service amounting to $
I would like to make a Revdex.com complaint to get my $back and a previous $because the GoDaddy system automatically added domain privacy service fees without my knowledgeWhen I contacted GoDaddy to get my money back, they were were not able to help because I did not have a pin # which only GoDaddy could have given me
I then contacted Paypal since I made the payment of $to GoDaddy via my Paypal accountI submitted claims and appealed claims to Paypal to get my money back from GoDaddy but they were not understanding
I don’t understand how I can be charged a domain privacy service which I did not wantAs a customer, I am being forced into buying something which I did not want
As a last resort to complain about GoDaddy and Paypal, I am appealing to you
Just as a FYI - I would not have signed up for domain privacy service beca

My domain name was due for renewal, however the credit card I had on file was no longer validWhen I received the renewal email I went online to add my new credit card info and was billed by godaddySince that date my website has still been inaccessibleI called in to Godaddy and was advised by customer service rep Bill that once to renewal fails billing the DNS must be resetI asked if this was the case shouldn't it state that in the billing renewal email or in a confirmation email once payment has been madeThere was no indication that I needed to call or update the DNS in any communications from GodaddyI asked to speak to a supervisor since Bill was unable to assist meI was left on hold for minutesI spoke to Ashley who was advised by Bill that I paid my renewal two weeks late, which was not the case, it was actually paid two days after the renewal was dueMy business website has now been down for two weeks.I have now been on the phone for minutes with no resolution

On October 6th I purchased services from your company for one yearOver the next couple of months, I tried using your services to see if I could get my website up and runningThis didn't work and so I had to purchase a theme from an external company and had someone else develop a website for meHere is the problem, in order to ad content to the website I would have to have knowledge of coding which I don'tI tried contacting your company again, asking them if there was any way they could meet me half way by either helping me to get a website up and running or give me credit for the remainder for the year since I am not able to get any where with what is being offered nowInstead, I was just met with condescending remarks from Jason Tomash and told that he was the be all end all in the entire company as it relates to my complaint and that it was the policy companywide to not hand out refunds after daysThe only other option that was being offered was that I pay an additional $

GoDaddy.com has been charging my credit card for a monthly (auto renewed) subscription of $since without my consentI do not own or have a web domainI do not even know what this isThis website apparently hasn’t even been up and running for over a yearI called Godaddy.com and they said they could not help meThe transaction did not look fraudulentThey were not very helpful and the man I spoke with was very rude

I have purchased approximately domains from GoDaddy last year I have done this for years and they always send an email to me to let me know they are expiring and I can also monitor in my account dashboard Last month the registration was expiring - GoDaddy charged my card for of them but the other they did not renew and they simply removed them from my list of domains that are on my dashboard I did an online chat with a representative who said she could see the problem and would have someone put the domains back into my account dashboard so I could access and renew She never did this I called again and spoke with someone who was very rude and told me I needed to pay $to renew only domains which should be about $- since I am on their annual "domain discount" plan These domains are valuable and I do not believe if they go to auction that I will be able to purchase I already have marketing materials in development and I want my domains back

After months of bad advice by GoDaddy reps, countless wasted hours on the phone, and a website that still does not work, I am told today that their Managed WP (that they told me I must move to) is the cause of my problemsIn order to correct the problem they caused I must now pay to move back to cPanel (where I was) and hope that solves the problemI must say that my experience with GoDaddy is one of the worst examples of customer service and delivering what you sell I have ever experienced

Go Daddy has engaged in unethical behavior related to the renewal of domain names Its not surprising to see the volume of negative reviews on this website given my own experience Go Daddy doesn't allow consumers to turn off the auto-renew option on domain names in advance They also don't allow me to delete my payment information to avoid being charged in the event I forget to turn off my auto-renewal prior to the renewal date They're basically betting on consumers forgetting to cancel their auto-renewal option so that they can collect more fees While I believe it is unethical this may end up being criminal

The WORST! I have used Godaddy since for multiple domains and will be transferring my domain elsewhereAt first, they seem user friendly and reliable since they offer services for less than the competitorsMost people fall for lower fees but in reality, Godaddy makes most of their income thru other services that you do not need or even requestThey will charge you for fees that are unnecessary and they are very shady about incorporating themThey never refund me; instead, they give me a "credit" to use with themAs of this time of writing this, they have Negative and Positive Reviews

I was contacted via email in regards to selling a domain name I own (***)I didn't respond because I thought it was spamI was then contacted via phone and told "I needed to give them a call back to let them know either way in regards to selling it or not)It sounded like a rushThe offer went from $1,to $2,and I acceptedI contacted them via the phone and completed all of the steps necessary to transfer the domain nameI also gave them my bank account information for the paymentI was originally told that after I competed my checklists that the sales representative would "push the information through to the accounting department and I should receive payment in 2-business daysThis did not occurI called in and was told it is actually 5-business days to receive paymentThis also did not occurI called in once more and was told "you'll definitely have funds by next Thursday, and if not give us a call back." Again, this did not occurI called in

I have been trying to get my website created by GoDaddy for the last monthsThe service has been HORRIBLE I have continued to provide information to Professional Web Services I have several emails that demonstrate the lack of responsiveness from the team Because I believed they would do what was promised, I decided not to request a refund a few weeks ago I was told I would receive a draft of my site by the 8th This was perfect since we have a board meeting scheduled on the 12th to review itToday is the 11th and I have not received a draft, nor a call/email explaining the delayNow, I need to reschedule my board to meet, causing me further inconvenienceThis is VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICEWe are a small non-profit and a current domain customer with GoDaddy and decided to spend more than our budget allowed for a professional site I am now concerned if we continue, what will be the response when we request updates!

We have aacquired a company and called godaddy to update their records about the acquisition and moved the account to the parent company with all the informationGodaddy charged the account for year renewal and was charged to the seller company without our consent either by email or phone, solely by their discretionWhen called they say as per initial term we have right to renew the same periodBut when questioned about us calling and informing Godaddy about the acquisition, they say it is our responsibility to check the account fequently for charges, These charges were charged to the seller company and we have no information for the sameThey say it is beyond days so we cannot refund the moneyits huge amount they have charged the account renewing all the services for year periodwhich we do not need it

This company kept my credit card information and automatically used it (charging me) for a service I transferred over to another partyThis went on for yearsEven after my credit card expired, they had the bank automatically renew the credit card without my knowledge
I never received renewal notices, I never received information because I had transferred to account to someone else
In speaking to the company, they say there is "NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT." They say they have a DAY CANCELLATION policyThey are not even willing to give me a credit with the company

On 11/2/I noticed that my email account was not working and signed onto my godaddy account to investigateAll of my products were setup on auto renewal with a credit card, but for some reason the email hosting did not renewI had to manually reenter the information so that it would process and received a confirmation email and printed a receiptI have just received the Credit card statement and noticed there were two identical charges from GoDaddy for the email renewal, so I contacted them to refund one of the chargesThey have stated that since this charge is past the day window, they CAN NOT reverse the charge and basically told me that I was the one who processed the payment twice and that they have applied it as a 4year plan instead of two year plansI requested to speak with the supervisor and Kayla stood by this decisionI explained that I have notified my bank that this is a fraudulent charge and I consider this an act of theft as I did not authorize a four year pl

Several years ago I registered a personal domain with GoDaddy but have not used it for years I recently noticed a charge from GoDaddy on my credit card bill so I called to request to have it reversed Turns out my account was set to auto renew but I did not receive a notice of the renewal since the email address I registered with was no longer valid(thanks to Comcast dropping the 3rd party ISP I was using) GoDaddy's policy only allows returns for days after the charge They are sticking me with paying for another years with no option to reverse or prorate the charge even though I am getting no use from the service GoDaddy being a technology company could easily track email non-delivery reports and attempt to contact customers via alternative method but I guess they would rather get one last payment out of you even it if means losing future business

Godaddy double charges, doesn't care they double charge, even flat denies double charging with a bank statementWon't give up the double charge and talks in circles over and over to keep from discussing giving me my money backWe are so done with this fraudulent company and will NEVER use them again

I contacted GoDaddy customer service five times today due to a charge to my account that I did not authorizeGoDaddy signed me up for a free website trial and I signed into my account and removed the automatic renewal optionI do not even use their websiteThe domain name I have is connected to an Etsy website and would not even link to theistsI was charged in January and saw that the automatic renewal box was checked so I removed itI was charged again in FebruaryThe moment I saw the charge, I contacted GoDaddy supportThey said that they could not correct the charge because my account had a two-factor identification process that did not authorize them to do anythingThe problem is that it was connected to my old phone number instead of the new one that had been updated previously with my accountTwo reps sent links to correct the issue and neither workedThey sent me to the billing department as well as tech supportThe final call, the rep told me I have to take it

My website hosting does not work...any files larger than about 1M cannot be accessedGoDaddy is able to reproduce this problem on their end
I asked for a ticket to be opened to debug it and they claim the problem is with my ISP
However...I have the problem (AT&T ISP), my phone has the problem (T-Mobile ISP) and of my friends have the problem (Spectrum and Verizon ISPs)
Additionally, *GoDaddy* can reproduce the problem on their end
So now 2mo into a 10yr hosting plan my website is unusable
I would ideally like the problem to be fixed, but if that is not possible then a prorated refund

When performing a search on GoDaddy.com to check the availability of a specific domain name, I found that GoDaddy.com had purchased the domain name I had searched forNow they are requiring that I pay $plus commission to GoDaddy.com to negotiate the sale, for what was a $domain, from GoDaddy.comI believe this is a poor business practice and that GoDaddy.com is basically extorting it's customers
