In Mid December of I had gotten several emails from Go Daddy that I needed to pay a fee to keep my domain name active I logged in to my account numerous times to pay the fee and could not find a domain name registered to me that would allow me to pay the feeWhile this was happening my web site went downI called Go Daddy and began working with MrLance Hewitt After much research he was able to find my domain name, I paid the fee and the site went back upWhile we were working on the domain name issue I told Hewitt my current web host was no longer going to host sites and that I needed another hostI was petitioned by Hewitt to allow Go Daddy to host my site and we began to set that up During the process, that took over three weeks and many, many hours of my time, I was told by Hewitt what to do, every step of the way and followed every instruction Supposedly the site was migrated and a

They continue to contact with with e-mails and they wont stop I have been on the phone with their personnel for months I am not allowed to talk to a supervisor or when I tell them the problem, they hang up on me
They want me to renew service with them for a company that is out of business and the owner is DEAD!

Initially spoke with a sales rep in May and based upon what was to all be part of a package for the "Premium" package I was promised many things only to find out after paying thousands and months later the things the sales rep *** said would include in my purchase price was notI have made many calls, finally was able to reach a supervisor who stated she could not provide me with even a email address for herself so I would have a point of contactIn the end she emailed me with different stories that each contradicted her statements in writing but siding with Go Daddy and found no wrongWhen asked for additional info she said I needed a subpoenaIn addition in one of her replies she stated she spoke with the sales rep about my conversation with him in May and states he said he remembered exactly what he told meI find this hard to believe as he most likely has spoken with several hundred people since yet he can remember my conversation with him? Common sense no! I ha

In July 2016, I purchased a year web hosting plan for my wordpress website In May 2017, I added a year SSL plan In May 2018, GoDaddy parked my domain for no reason, which took down my entire site It took phone calls and 16+ hours to bring my website back up In that time, I lost ad revenue, affiliate income, and all my social proof I worked hard over the years to achieve
When I moved to a new, more reliable and supportive hosting company, I requested a pro-rated refund for the remaining years of hosting and year of SSL I was told it is their policy not to provide any refunds It took hours for me to research their refund policy to find that you have days from initial purchase to receive a refund for future services
So, as it sits, I'm out roughly $because GoDaddy apparently believes they can retain money for future services just because you don't have issues within days? I'm still trying to figure out how they can keep money for services that wil

GoDaddy is my Domain Registrar and I need to update information to meet ICANN rules and to make configuration changes that will allow internet traffic to find my new hosting site, *** I just bought this domain but have an existing account Earlier that same day I changed my phone number and got the confirmation at my personal email address but could not log on because GoDaddy sends an auth code to your phone number on fileSupport cannot assist so you get another group that asks you to send Personally Identifiable information to them over emailBut then they refuse to accept it since the account email does not match and you email them over again and they do not respond This means I cannot put up a website, change my company info, etcThey are holding my business hostage and it's been a week and I'm still waiting for an adult response They are punish their customers for their own past failuresThere are other validation info on file (PIN, Credit Card, domain order co

I have never experience customer support that goes word to word with a customerI called godaddy to inquire about when my account would be credited my refundAfter cancelling my services on the previous Thursday and speaking with customer service I was expecting to be fully refunded my unused servicesI'm and was upset and had a nasty attitude after speaking with two customer service representives in which I explained myself to several times and not to be understoodThe first representives could not locate upper management (Chris W.) and then second Eric was able tooOnce the manager even came on he fail to assist BenjaminAfter speaking with customer service I understand you have a policy in place but as I explained I was unaware ofI would not HAVE PAID ANNUAL prices knowing it was possibility I would LOSE my moneyI had a lot of phone and chat inquires where services were changed added and deletedA lot was said and offered I don't recall a day policy or lose allDon

GoDaddy cut off my email I called to find out what the problem was and GoDaddy said my domain name had expiredThey would reinstate my domain name if they were paid a large penaltyWhen I asked why I hadn't received a bill or notification they claimed that they had sent several to two email addressesNeither address received the emails GoDaddy claimed to have sentI inquired if this was a business practice GoDaddy used to generate income, they said "no" and they would lower my "penalty payment"I'm not sure who regulates GoDaddy but if this is an ongoing practice , GoDaddy should be punishedI had this domain name for over years and was told if I didn't pay the penalty this name would be auctioned off at a possibly much higher price than the "penalty fee"In order to keep my domain name I paid GoDaddy's "penalty fee" with a terrible taste in my mouthIf you want a domain name you can keep without paying "penalties" don't use GoDaddy

My site was down for hours and they can't do any thing about itAfter a hour chat, all I can do is wait

Horrible up time and even more horrible and incompetent tech support
Have a site a that's been running slow the last couple weeks and today it's bee down several hours and techs are unable to resolve my issue
Stay away from these overpriced horrible hosting providers

This couses practices designed to encourage loss of service to customers so that they can extort "recovery fees."
They then demand month payments for restoration of website when they know that their own policies allow for mohosting plus the $ransom payment for each site to restore sites to live active online status
They deliberately fail to provide proper notice to site / domain name owner when the customer's site is down due to billing issue such as credit card neededNo phone call, no clear email messageThey camouflage email notices with promotional offer messages and many other notices so the customer is not alerted to the urgent matter of their site being scheduled for "removal" and ZERO NOTICE AFTER SITE IS ACTUALLY "REMOVED."
They take actions that they themselves "puts you out of business." until they collect your ransomWhen you call to complain or dispute their lies and hostile actions, they do not allow you to speak with supervisors and refuse to answer

I purchased a domain from GoDaddy.com several years agoI no longer use the domain and do not plan to use the domain in the futureGoDaddy.com automatically put my account on Auto-RenewI noticed a charge 2-years later on January 12, on my credit card for $which was for another 2-years of serviceI called GoDaddy.com 10-days later after I noticed the charge on my credit card to get refund because I no longer use the service or domain and do not plan to use the service or domain in the futureThe customer service rep told me they would issue the refund within 5-days and gave me a reference #After more than a week, I noticed that I never received a credit back to my accountSo I called GoDaddy again with the reference # they gave me and the rep now told me they are no longer issuing a refundThis is very frustrating because more than a week ago they told me I would receive a refund and even gave me a reference # for the refund requestI no longer use the service fo

I purchased two domain name from Godday.comThe first domain was www.***.net and the other one was www.***service.com but Godaddy.com's representative order this domain name instead www.***.com on December 21, Now the www.***service.com is not available at the regular priceNow the domain is at a premium price of $at a mark up price of $moreI want Godaddy.com to purchase the domain at the markup price because the price I would have paid was $

I purchased a company in January of who already used GoDaddy for a website and hosting When purchasing the company I was not informed the need to pay for an additional three years of website domain, hosting and migration fees to update the owner of the business until trying to change the responsible party for the website I had to pay out of my pocket that day to "migrate" the website from the past owner of the company to me Then I had to purchase software called SiteLock due to an issue with migration and files the previous owner had in storage that contained a virus Then more hosting for three years, migrating, domain fees and such = lots of money out of my pocket I wasn't expecting I had no choice I now owned the business and needed to move the website over
Here we are three months later and after getting the company information all moved over and finding a much cheaper and easier website and hosting company where they actually help you without wanting you to pa

Tough to pick one category: customer service issues, contract, billing I spoke with a GoDaddy rep on July 11th They explained what I needed to do to move my websites (High Impact and Selection Success) from the Deluxe Hosting plan they were on to the current c-panel At that time, He also mentioned that I could move the c-panel under the TFE umbrella without having to cancel the current plan and start a new one GoDaddy was contacted to move the C-panel to the be under *** *** *** since I was shutting down the business This was just a formality since both the *** domain and the c-panel were paid through
Instead the GoDaddy representative deleted the c-panel and told us that we had to load the websites onto a new c-panel This was never our request They never asked about the sites hosted to ensure their safety Nor did they check they account to see that it was paid through
We were fortunate that the three websites hosted

Received several emails stating that I needed to update credit card information or service would expireI did not update information so services would expire , but was charged anywayRefuses to give refund, sorry customer serviceUnethical as can be with that billing tactic

Trying to steal my domainI registered a domain in 2011, created traffic for it with a popular blog for yearsOne day, I try to linto my site and it's not thereIn it's place is the Godaddy expired domain pageIn my control panel, the domain is set to expire 12/2/But Godaddy affirms that expired on 2/12/They're trying to swipe my domain because it has ranking and favorable keywords in the domain nameShamelessWon't be using them again

They are sending charges after my domain account has been inactive for two yearsIt's in their fine print apparently that they can keep charging you through PayPal for no services being provided, after your account has been closed for years Not only did they charge me, but it was at a much higher rate than what I had agreed to years ago Never sign on with a PayPal account! If I had not done that, they wouldn't have had a current form of payment on file to suddenly charge me out of nowhere There was no email or and correspondence to let me know it was 'billing time' either

I was automatically enrolled for an aproduct that I never realized came with a package I signed up forThis product was auto-renewedWhen I called to cancel and be refunded for this product, I was told that I was outside of the day policy to have this refundedI had this issue escalated and was told the exact same thingCalled repeatedly to have this refundedWas treated rudely, told there were no supervisors available, was hung up on
Canceling my other products because there are way too many sneaky add-ons and bills for products I never signed up for

I have several issues with the way I’m being treated by go daddy
Regarding my web sites *** *____ ***
