godaddy is allowing ***ble activity from a user named faircannacare who sell bad things to people without age of majority, they sell dangerous moldy product and set a ***ble precedent of what godaddy is all about...godaddy has responsibility to protect its users, the reader

Hi
we are constantly receiving text messages from various phone numbers offering us discounts on Godaddy logo services
we have asked them to stop, but the messages keep coming
we receive an average of three text messages per day during weekdays

I purchased a website through GoDaddy in September for a new business I startedIt was a year "contract" Unfortunately, months later, roughly April/May I closed down my business I contacted GoDaddy then to close out the account and asked to take down the website since the business is no longer open I was told it was a year contract and that I could use it for something else At the time I told them I would consider that It has now been months after the business closed and I decided I for sure do not need the website for any reason I called and asked GoDaddy to for sure take down the website and also totally close everything out That there is no way it would be used for anything They told me they could not They don't issue refunds after days after the item is purchased I told them it doesn't make since, since the business is closed that I couldn't get a prorated refund of the amount that was paid for the website It doesn't make since to be pay

Go daddy charged me annually services that I did not knowingly sign up for or approve to be chargedI was completely unaware of these services or chargesOn July I was charged $for add on servicesI did not notice these charges until September 24th, once I noticed the charges I called go daddy to request a refund and was told I was out of the window for a refundAfter speaking with a manager I was told that even a partial refund for the months that are not being used (since I was billed for a full year in advanced) was also not refundableBeing a fellow business owner I cannot for the life of me understand why a company finds it okay to not keep a customer money even after requesting cancellation and removal of services months in advance I am seeking help from Revdex.com to help with my request for refund for services that was not requested or rendered

I signed up with GoDaddy LLCIn April of as a school project to get a domain name to build myself a portfolio site for my multimedia careerI started getting renewal reminders in mid March, I didn't think much of themFast forward to the date of my domain expiration, I wake up to find two, charges from GoDaddy; One for 128.88, and one for The lesser one is for an auto-renewal for my domain, I'm not too worried about thatBut seeing almost $vanish from my account is a little irksomeThey rope you in for little to nothing, then bait and switch a year laterTotally shady

In July I had extensive phone conversations about my website needs with GoDaddyI was told when giving specific examples of websites that I would like to model mine on that a "Simple Site" would fit the bill
It became apparent after the building of the site happened that there was no way this site would ever be any thing I could put in front of my customers and all the things that were missing I was told that I could "add later with their website builder"I hired GoDaddy because I did not want to spend the time building a websiteThe site did not cover the majority of items that I requested and was simply a plug and play template that looked amateur at best
Every time I tried to ask about missing pieces, I was just advised I needed to buy more servicesIt was clearly an original promise of things they could not deliver, followed with a request for me to buy further productsI was advised today that there is no way to get any refund on the site or the prepaid hosting and t

I signed up (monthly) for an online store I noticed different times that my online store was not working and not available online I called different times asking the problem I received different answers each time and never really resolved because it happened more times (that I knew of) The most recent phone call, the rep put me on hold and told me that it would be working again and did not tell me anything more I asked what happened and how long? No answer I told me my concern of paying for a service/product and not working I felt misrepresented and told the rep that FRAUD is a concern because my credit card was being charged for a service not working He then accused me of logging into my account and causing the problem Since I have not logged into my account in the last two weeks, I was not happy with this answer I should NOT be accused of the problem He then laughed This was unprofessional

If you receive a call to upgrade to the Go Daddy Go Central "DON'T DO IT" It's an offer for a special price extension, with the promise of new and great web hosting with a easy way to promote your web siteAfterwards, there is no access to your site, No return emails, Just unlimited "on hold" phone support

In October of this year, I contacted Go Daddy to renew our domain and hostingWe have been with the company since and every year, the cost is roughly $for both of those productsThis year we had spoken with the rep regarding "Website Builder"We were considering utilizing it as we desired to not have to go through the third party who had been maintaining our siteThe Go Daddy reps (I had spoken with them on more than one occasion) had said it was a very simple program "anyone could do it as long as you could drop and drag" I was told by the rep in Octthat they had a special on website builderI would get it for about the same price as what we were paying for the regular siteHe also said I would get a FREE domain nameI told him I didn't need another domain name and he said "well, you might as well take it since it's FREEYou can just use it as a redirect" I said okOn December 1st, when I realized we were never going to be able to figure this website builder out

I have been with GoDaddy for years and have always received credit back from a product that has not been fully used When I went to cancel one of my accounts I was informed that it has to happen within days in order to get a credit back to my account I was not told this when I signed up, otherwise I would have hesitated and checked with other services like WIX or not have done such a long term

A domain was purchased in error under my name and now I am being pressured to pay for itIt was an auction domain for which I never bid onI make less than 35k a year and the domain was sold for 20kI would have never purchased this domain in the first placeI contacted godaddy support and they told me that it was final, and that I would have to pay for the domainThis was a very shady practice as I see the domain on my invoice, but their is a purchase price of $not 20,

Complete Payment Recovery continues to call and harass meI NEVER authorized any payments to be taken form my account

Paid for three years of email serviceWas led to believe I could cancel anytimeDidn't like the product at all and tried to cancel it when I had some time to give them a callThey told me it had been forty-one days and that I was therefore stuck and couldn't get a dime of my money back - forty-one days used out of a three-year planLearn from my mistake: don't trust them and don't pay in advance

2-our website went downEmployee Jason told us that website was unrecoverable that our card did not processWe never recieved an email or phone call that there was an issue with our card and renewal and he said "we have over 1million clients, that's not our job and we don't give a *** We called back three additional times and were told several things including the site had been returned to ICANN and had to go through atleast a month process before becoming public again; we could pay $for first option to buy our domain when it became public; we could pay $to purchase it today and restart it but then was told it wasn't possible because thier system wasn't working or whateverToday (ONE BUSINESS DAY LATER) 2-we recieved an email that the domain had been removed from our accountWhen we go to our site it says "premium domain for sale$plus $yearly" and is now registered to a Jason Dr*** We are not getting straight answers from anyone at GoDaddy and

Absolutely the worst hosting company in the worldThe claim to have a 99% uptime guarantee and my website has downtime and issues on a weekly basisGodaddy does not take responsibility for this, and their customer service team constantly gives you the runaround to try to get you so frustrated you eventually just give upThe tell you they will call you back and then they never do, they promise they will give you a pro-rated refund only to go back on their word and try to force you to upgrade your hosting with a "credit"They put you on hold and then hang up as soon as you think you're getting somewheretheir managed wordpress hosting doesn't allow for reputable caching plugins to be installed and instead forces you to use their own caching plugin which doesn't work at all and makes your site crashIf you disable their caching plugin your website is slows down to a crawl and starts throwing server timeout errorsThey off absolutely no solutions to these problems and have absolutely zero business ethicsNo matter how much money you think you might be saving with Godaddy, I can guarantee you will be paying for it in the long run with downtime, customer service calls, and absolute frustrationSTAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!

This Gowill sell you information as soon as you hit the button send to register your domainI asked them to put my phone # in a Do Not Call List , but they didn't and I'm still receiving dozens of emails and phone calls from different fake US phone #sGoShiYou have to stop doing thatI stop doing business with you and will prevent anyone wanted to do business with youI would give -if I could !

In the Fall of I experienced billing issues, that were corrected by a customer service rep While on the call, we went through my entire portfolio once again and was told that he removed auto-renewal on domains I didn't wish to have anymore Once again, December came around, I was again charged for products I no longer wanted, so I went through the same process of getting a refund and reviewing domains once again Now, in March, a charge for dollars appears on my personal debit card for domains, once again, I no longer desired Instead of promptly apologizing for their mishap, I'm told I needed to request a refund during a hour amount of time My request for a refund was denied because that time period passed This problemonly continues to happen because of GoDaddy's own fault Numerous times I was told one thing by customer service reps via phone/email, but that never happened Now I don't receive a refund because of something they said they did, but in the end did

I had an account with GoDaddy for a few years and I cancelled all of my products in June 2015, turning off the auto-renew optionI tested my domain and it was deactivated at that timeIn Augof 2016, GoDaddy erroneously auto-renewed my accountI called on 10/10/to resolve thisThey say they would not refund months worth a product due to an arbitrary day cancellation periodThis is unreasonable and is a low-handed way to make moneyA reasonable refund would be 1/to 3/of the year
However, a much worse scenario resulted from my dispute with them and indicates seriously unethical business practicesSomehow the DATE of the auto-renew option on my account was changed to 10/10/at 1:pm (ET)I did not change this and in fact, I had not logged into my account since June of up until the time GoDaddy requested that I reset my password and log in at approximately pm ET on 10/10/The customer service representative at GoDaddy claimed I had changed the auto-renew setting myself at 1:pm when I had not! I was not even logged in at that timeSomeone at GoDaddy changed the date of the auto-renew option on my account to justify their charges to meGoDaddy can change their log files however they want to justify collecting funds from their customersThis is extremely unethical if not illegal

I believe discount email coupons Go Daddy sends to present customers, such as myself are misleading and induce customers to renew without Go Daddy applying the discount invoking similarity to a bait and switch paradigm I believe I was mislead based on my discussions with the customer service representative on August 29, when I renewed believing the 30% discount would be applied when I renewed this evening 9/24/before the 9/25/expirationGo Daddy refused to apply any of the email discounts upon renewal despite my discussions with the customer service representatives and supervisor ***I believe this bad faith issue needs to be brought to the attention of the news media, social media and the FTC, as well as other governmental agencies

I purchased a domain from GoDaddy.com Along with the domain name, I purchased a Web Hosting Plan The original plan I purchased didn't have the capabilities I needed for the type of business I am operating (it is an Affiliate sales site that specializes in Flowers), so I spoke with the GoDaddy sales team and they encouraged me to upgrade to a Premium Business Plan This plan includes access to a Mobile App that produces the site in a way that is frendly to Mobile users
Sometime during the first week of January I began to experience issues with the siteI would find hidden images embedded in my site that I didn't put in I tried deleting them, but they seemed to never end, so I contacted GoDaddy to find out what was happenngor if I was doing something to cause these issues
First I was told they had done a software upgrade and were having issues, but the problems would be resolved soon They explained that the images would go away, but that there were so many, they had
