Hello, I bought a domain name from Godaddy on Dec30, I selected the registration through Facebook, in which I thought I was only just signing up to get an account with itI ran into issues because my official Hosting Company needed to validate my company information before my company receives it's Extended ValidationBut when they looked in the "Who Is" which is a website verification site, my Facebook email address came up as the register and along with my name, BUT when I brought the product from Godaddy, I entered my company address, my name, my Organization Name and company phone numberBut Godaddy ignored what I put and put my companie's name, which is a Limited Liability Corporation All of this happened because Godaddy fail to tell companies that they SHOULD NOT use a Facebook Account as login in information
I tried to correct this with Godday different times and still nothing has changedI was told earlier in the week to go into my Godaddy Profile and update
I spoke to a customer service agent in October about my hosting site *** ** *** ***I was asking questions about subdomains and add on domains, when the answers made clear to me that the product did not fit my needs, I made it clear than I would not be renewing the web hostingthe associate until then kept pushing for me to renewi told her the hard sell had no business in our dialogue as I had not had my questions answeredi made clear I do not do auto renew so that needed to be taken offwell, it was noteven when I thought I had all the auto renews turned to the off position, I still got $taken out of my checking account on Nov this payment was NOT authorizedwhen I saw what happened when my budget numbers did not add up in my checking account, I was told there was no refund availableone, it was over an imaginary hours, which was not made clear at firstthen when I showed that I turn off all the auto renews and that backed my play, the customer service representative got snotty with me and I hung up on himi went back through my accountmy products to my account shows nothing but Undawnted being renewed in Februaryi went through manage *** ** *** Today and nothing else came up about renewalsso I believed I had canceled any renewal with the turning off the renewal button for that websitelittle did I know there are different cancellation pagessomeone NOT affiliated with godaddy had to show me today where they hell that was I am disabled and do need assistanceAssistance I did not receive from the Godaddy representativei didn't want to renew this hosting package as it did not fit my needsi expressed that to your customer service agent back in Octoberit should have been taken care of by her then and thereinstead, it seems godaddy has a policy of blame the customer and that is why I hung up on your last customer service agentto me, godaddy stole that renewal money out of my accounti will be researching a new hosting/domain companyi do not call to get pushed for a salei do not call to get blamedi call to get issues resolved favorable to both parties, I was even nice enough to suggest a pro rated refund as I did not want to continue this deluxe hostingbut that was ignoredthat is terrible customer serviceterrible company policyi do not see going forward with godaddy in the future and considering I am the blogger/website manager for west Phoenix communities, I am going to find a company more willing to work with usThank you,

I have all of my domain names registered with GodaddyWhen it is time to renew, they do not tell you the number of years that you are renewing for, It is not put into the email they send youIt is not available on their web siteIf you have automatic renewal, they bill you for as many years as they want and then tell you that you can not lower the number of yearsAVOID doing business with themThey are sleazy, dishonest and not forthcomingAny honest business would tell you the total they are selling you when they send you a renewal reminderAn honest business would also display the number of years of renewal with the domain name information and make it easy to changeNOTE: There are almost complaints against them and take warningDO NOT do business with themThey are a rip off Why they have an A+ rating with the Revdex.com is beyond my comprehension

I moved a few domains to a new account, and it didn't disclose in the help article that private registration would not transfer over
I called customer support and both the rep and supervisor were extremely rude and condescendingThey told me that there was a disclaimer about private registration, despite me having the help article open and searching for the word 'privacy' and 'private' with no results
I asked them to either refund the private registration fee or provide private registration in the new account for freeIf they refused I'd just do a chargebackI was told that if I did a chargeback for the cost of the private registration, GoDaddy would retaliate by revoking my ownership of the domains
Will be moving to a new registrar when this is up for renewalYour reps need training
