I purchased Managed WordPress Hosting from GoDaddy on 4/19/for $for a one-year termIn the process of setting up my website, I desired to have it function over HTTPSI had difficulty with configuring that with this instance of WordPress on their system and contacted supportSupport was unable to resolve my issueSeveral weeks went by and I attempted to configure my website with HTTPS again and was unable to complete the setup
I contacted GoDaddy on Twitter on 6/30/to seek additional help and confirmation whether this issue can be resolved or notThe conclusion was that GoDaddy's Managed WordPress hosting infrastructure was unable to support HTTPS / SSL transport protocolsDue to this incompatibility, I promptly moved my website over to Dreamhost and I was able to accomplish HTTPS/SSL connectivity with my WordPress instance

Godaddy's sales representatives used manipulative methods to get me to subscribe to a three-year hosting plan and an SSL certificate promising that if I decided at the middle of the road to unsubscribe, they would refund the amount equaling to the duration not usedThis was not the case when I decided to move to another serviceThey informed me that they would credit me the amount if I moved to one of their services or use their services to build the websiteThe sales representative that I talked to didn't mention any of that conditionsAlso they call me regularly trying to sell servicesA huge number of people have marked their number as spam that when I see their number calling, I get a red box saying (Godaddy- probably spam)
