on June 5th that logged in to Godaddy.com to renew domains for year period subscription for to debit withdraw form company checking account,
on June 13th that found out Go Daddy had deducted from checking account but also debit from credit card same day(Credit card on their system , I Immediately called toll free number that hold for hours and finally person name Christina answer the phone, I told her the problem but she said this is my problems and cannot refund back either to checking account or credit card, I asked spoke to manager that hold for another hour, a gentlemen name Albert or Robert answer the phone, I repeat my situation and he said this is my problem and nothing he will do , he stated this charges not charged by Go Daddy but other company, I asked why the name showed Go Daddy on checking account and on credit card as well, he cannot answer and upset with threading if I want credit or refund back either my account that he will cancel
GoDaddy charged us for a service we did not want to renew and then refused to refund the purchase price
When we registered our domains with GoDaddy, GoDaddy enrolled us in a "free" Get Found Starter service (Item Number: ***)Apparently, this is a service that came bundled with the domains we orderedHowever, it was very confusing and unclear that we were signing up for this service, that it would auto-renew by default, and that we would pay a lot more for it than the original priceIn other words, our second bill was nearly times more expensive than our first bill
This is advertising because this practice is very confusing and misleading
- The Get Found Starter is not a free service and therefore should not be presented as such
- The Get Found Starter service pricing is not clearly explained or that the customer will be billed later
- GoDaddy does not explain how the pricing will increase nearly 2X upon renewalThis is an important factor in the purchas
I paid in full for an update to my web siteNothing that was discussed for this update was included in the updateI can not use any part of the web site they createdEven though they have all the content needed for my updated web site, from my current web site, they changed the wording and most of it is incorrect and some of it is illegal to my professionIt was impossible to edit as every part of it was unusableThey insisted on using their version even though I gave them all the content neededTherefore, I asked for a refund and they refusedWhen I paid in full it was explained to me that if I didn't like it, they would refund the paymentMy domain is with them, my hosting is not but I intended to move to them for hostingMy goal was and still is to work with them to find solution but I think that because I paid in full for the service, they will only do what works for them instead of what I need for my unique businessI am seeking assistance from Revdex.comThank you in advance
I signed up for a GoDaddy hosting plan for a websiteGoDaddy also offered a FREE domain name to go with my hostingGoDaddy told me I had days to get 100% of my money backI cancelled after about daysThey then charged me for years for a domain name because the domain name refund was only days, as described in their terms and conditions I asked several times and in several ways about the refund, deadlines, etc., and not once did they did not reveal any info about the day limit GoDaddy is hiding charges in their terms and conditions The practice of placing charges and deadlines in Terms and Conditions and completely contradicting those T&C during the sales call is a scam and Illegal I feel a class action law suit is in order and all customers should get their money back that were charged in this manner
I'm a long time customer of GoDaddy This is the time the same situation has happened where a large portion of my Domain Names have been deleted because GoDaddy charged the incorrect billing card The old card was removed because of fraud and a new one has been on file These domains were my business, including my own name
We received an email from GoDaddy offering a 20% discount for the renewal of our domain hosting which, after reading the fine print, turned out to be a offerWe went ahead and paid the full price for renewal, since our hosting expiration date was nearThen we sent an email, to an address given to us by a GoDaddy customer service rep, requesting a 20% refund, in order to make the offer true, citing that the offer was deceptive
Our request was sent June 16th; it was not returned, so we conclude it was receivedThe request was sent before the discount offer expired and also before our hosting expired; we are still within days of the transaction, as stated in GoDaddy's Refund Policy
We have had no acknowledgement or response from GoDaddy as of yet

I received a charge for $40+ during the end of August for what they call "private registration"I called the customer service number to tell them I never wanted this productThey said I signed up for it (which I never have before)I told them that I don't want it and I want a refundThey said I couldn't have a refund because I was beyond days and to cancel it they would have to send me the linkI received the link and followed the instructionsHowever when I tried to do what the link told me to do it said that I never enabled the private registration and I would have to call customer supportUgh! So I called customer support back and sat in a queueI finally hung upI also tried the online chat and no one ever signed on with meI'll have to start doing business with another companyI have been completely scammed and I have no way to cancel this thing that they said would automatically renew every year!
I sent an email to GoDaddy asking them to cancel my auto renew for an annual service They wrote back and told me I had to call in I called in but they now say they have no record of my calling in They billed me for years of service and had it deducted from my credit card I did not see the charge as I now live in a different state and my credit card statements were not forwarded to me I only found out about the charge when a collection agency called regarding this credit card which has not been used for over a year
GoDaddy tells me they cannot cancel my service and will not prorate the charge, as if to say that I will be paying for years of service even though the service began months ago and they mistakenly did not cancel my service

There was no supervisor available They will have to call me back This is what has always happened
Due to an unrecognized charge on CC for a domain that was already paid for up to May of 2018, I challenged the chargeWhen GoDaddy got notified by CC company of the charge-back, they YANKED or FROZE my domain name that was already paid for and held it ransom till I paid for the charge-back fee and RENEWAL fee that was not due till May of I gave an example of purchasing a 3-year domain that is not due to expire in and they claim that is the policy to RANSOM the domain if a renewal or extended renewal is dinged with a charge-backSo they forced me to pay a $charge-back FEE and renewal on a domain that was already paid forI had no choice because my business is an online businessOnce they restored the domain back, I still had issues with domain propagating in the Internet and called back to get it resolvedI want my $back or I will TRANSFER each domain to Network Solutions as they come due and NEVER EVER recommend or use GoDaddy againBad policy and crappy way to t
I am/was a customer of Go Daddy for years and recently decided to change companiesI was not getting all that I could be getting so I shopped around and made a decision to move away from Go Daddy and Go to WixI started this process in March of On April 13, 2016, I decided it was time to change over and so I stopped auto renew on my products at Go Daddy and purchased a premium account with WixI then wondered if I had to do anymore with Go Daddy directly and so in fear of doing the wrong thing, I talked to someone via CHAT and his name was WilliamHe told me that if I transferred and was going with the other company, I would not have to do anything else with Go Daddy nor pay them for anything and the new company would own the domain(I copied and pasted that chat session.) On April 27, 2016, I talked to Bryce (via chat and have that copied as well) and he informed me that my domain was in fact NOT transferred and that I needed to follow the procedures to get the privacy ca
Godaddy.com will not allow me to transfer my domain to another provider and refuses to cancel all recurring billing Godaddy.com has willfully violated the Texas Deceptive Business Trade Practices Act, by doing so, as their website clearly states they are sending me the authorization code, but the code is never received When calling customer service, they refuse to provide the code and are willing participants in godaddy.com unlawful activity
On April 23, GoDaddy took payment of $to build a websitePrior to paying, we asked Ana Rajao with GoDaddy to confirm they would be able to move our current blog to the new site and if they would be able to build a shop like they did on our former site they built months priorShe placed us on hold came back and stated she could
We spoke with Shayla, the web builder, and she said they couldn't custom code the shop, but when we explained we just wanted it like our other shop, she said they could
She also confirmed they would move our blogs
I provided the blogs in formats as they requested
months later, they refused to complete the work stating we were asking them to 'custom code' and 'work out of scope'
This is untrue and supported by numerous emails and recorded conversations that our company has
A representative named *** from headquarters set up a call and was extremely rude and admitted GoDaddy was breaching contract and would not fulfill the terms of
