I hired GoDaddy to build a Wordpress website for me to advertise our vacation rental propertiesmonths & upwards of $later I've ended up with a terrible website that does not allow a visitor to ever reach a page that describes any of our properties much less allow them to book it, formatting issues such as text being hidden by the site's header, etc
I have had multiple calls with their "Professional Web Services" staff members and developersEach time I've provided a detailed list of the issues with the websiteI even had to pay an additional $for "WP Premium Support" because the original payment I made did not include support after the website was published (despite the fact that the website has NEVER operated correctly)I've received emails saying that they've fixed the issues that I've reported but the site is still a disasterTo prove my case today I've recorded a video review of how my website displays just in case there is a need for it later
Today I was promised that my account manager would call me within minutes, however that was hours ago and still I've not received a call
I am terribly disappointed in this whole process and am just done with GoDaddyNow I need to start from scratch and find a web developer who actually knows how to build a good website

I received a charge for $40+ during the end of August for what they call "private registration"I called the customer service number to tell them I never wanted this productThey said I signed up for it (which I never have before)I told them that I don't want it and I want a refundThey said I couldn't have a refund because I was beyond days and to cancel it they would have to send me the linkI received the link and followed the instructionsHowever when I tried to do what the link told me to do it said that I never enabled the private registration and I would have to call customer supportUgh! On Dec 9th I paid Go Daddy $to build a web site for my company "*** *** *** ***"
They basically just cut and pasted over my existing website
In January I requested a refund because they were not truthful nor were they responding back with my previous concerns
they claimed they could only refund me 2/of my payment
I then requested a supervisor and was told that they would upgrade me to a better website and I would be very impressed
I supplied them with the items that needed to be on this new website over a month ago and nothing has been done nor was there any follow up
A phone called was made last week and they are refusing any type of refund and they are claiming they spent a lot of time, when in fact NOTHING has been done
After consideration with going with a couple different places we chose go daddy to build our word press siteThey really built it up with the idea that they were creative, we would have all the tools to run with the website after it was built, and how easy it was for anyone to useFirst off, the creativity was subpar at best but we realized we could adjust some at a later date to our own ideasI have used go daddy for many simple website building and it was soon easy, however with word press it is completely different you have to understand coding etcEven the web programmer guy we hired to help with modifications thought it was very difficultLastly, we told them exactly what we needed with our website and it was a monthly subscription siteNow after people signed up we found out they didn't put in the correct plug in for that and they want an additional $for the plugBasically the whole way though the process we have felt like we are constantly being mislead by go daddyW

I've checked my spam, overflow, etcemailNOTHING FROM GODADDY even after they promised to contact meCrappy customer service!
Last month I called GoDaddy and wanted to pay for all my domains coming due in to be renewedThe rep gave me a price to do that and I paid itThen this month I get a notification that I had a domain due to renew in a few daysI looked online and sure enough I had one dueI then called them and spoke to their rep in customer serviceI told him that the price I paid was supposed to have covered all my domains for He said I would have to pay for the domain to renew itI told him I already did and he said they must have missed it, still insisting I must pay itHe was also getting an attitude which did not go over well considering I was already upsetI then asked to speak with a supervisor He started to insist he had to tell me something before transferring me to a supervisorI told him I didn't want to hear it and let me speak to a supervisorWe argued and he then proceeded to tell me what he wanted to say and then got me a supervisorThe supervisor was polite, and said he could give me a discount on the domain, but that was all he could doI told him that was not acceptable as I had already paid for it according to the first rep I originally talked to a few weeks agoI then waited awhile to calm down from the horrible experience I just hadI then called their financial dept and spoke with a rep theirHe said I didn't pay for the domain and I should have checked my receipt they sent me by email to make sure all the domains were on itFor one, I was out of town and could not check it at the time and two, the main thing, THEIR REP TOLD ME THEY WERE ALL RENEWEDWith attitude, the financial rep then told me I had two choicesOne pay to renew or two lose itI asked to speak to his supervisorI never spoke with the supervisorStill with attitude in his voice, the rep said " My supervisor is feeling generous and said he would renew it for freeThat is what should have happened the first timeAgain, it's not freeI had already paid for itI've always received a customer survey after calling them, but I find it odd that I did not get one after the customer service rep started an argument with meI'm wondering if this is a new approach GoDaddy is teach, bullying the customer so they accept what they are told and end up paying moreGoDaddy has been going down hill over the past few yearsYou can look on the reviews here and see each year they increase more and moreI have wrote GoDaddy emails about issues I've had and ways to fix them, but they must not care because I never received a reply backThis experience has ended my very long relationship with GoDaddyI've been with them almost from their startI will be looking elsewhere to transfer my domainsI'm a client and I pay them moneyI'm not going to get treated badly to do soThe only reason I'm giving them one star is because I can't give them none
I have been harassed day after day with phone calls, texts, emails, etc., from Go Daddy as I chose NOT to renew any domain I held with them, or my website Even after calling them and speaking to THREE different supervisors, they are STILL harassing me!! They think they're slick when you tell them not to call, so they bombard you with emails, and text messages!!! This company should be brought down!!! This has been going on now for over months!!!
I was a customer with godaddy for several years I purchased all of my domains through the website and hosted all of my websites on their serversI was in the hospital for a few months due to a health issuesDuring that time, I was also a victim of identity fraudSomeone got a hold of my debit cardsMy cards were cancelled but the autopay was not updated for several of my service providers including GodaddyWhen I was finally released from hospital, I was shocked when my websites were no longer liveI called Godaddy and they said my websites were deletedI asked to speak with a manager and they transferred me to Andrew ***He told me my websites could be recovered but I would be charged a $recovery feeI explained my situation but he was extremely nasty and condescending through the entire conversationRepeatedly saying it was fault and how didn't I have a backup He was like why should I waive the recovery fee for youI told him I was a customer with godaddy at th
