Review: I saw the TV advertisement for the Hurricane Spin Mop - 2 payments of $19.99 plus shipping fee of $12.99. The ad stated that you could get a second set, just pay $12.99 to cover shipping fee. The agent who took my call also stated the extra set would be $12.99 for shipping. I have seen this mop in stores (Bed, Bath and Beyond/Walmart) for $39.99, so I thought it was a good deal. I should have received 2 sets of the hurricane mop and the sticky buddy. I ordered the extra set. However, I only received one set of the spin mop and NOT sticky buddy. I called the company thinking maybe it was shipped separately. However, that was it. I explained to the representative on the phone about the TV ad, and she said I was mistaken - I know what I saw/heard. I have seen the commercial dozens of times. So, they LIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I asked to speak to a supervisor, and she tried to tell me she had addressed my issue. I again asked to speak with a supervisor; she was hesitate, but told me to hold the line. I held the line, but was disconnected after about 3 minutes. I called back and asked to speak with a supervisor. I explained to that representative that someone had already disconnected my call. The supervisor answered after a few minutes, and I explained the situation again. He told me I only order 1 set, but he would take another order for $19.99 and charge it to my credit card. I told him that I had seen the commercial dozens of time, and I know exactly what it states as well as what the agent who took my order said. We went back and forth for a few minutes, and I informed him that I would be contacting the Revdex.com. He then offered to give me a $10.00 refund on my card. I was reading some of the complaints, and it appears that they tried to convince you that you did NOT order what you ordered and then offer a $10.00 compensation for your inconvenience. The spin mop is sold in stores for $39.99; why would I pay shipping charges when I could buy 2 sets from the store for less?????Desired Settlement: Honor the advertisement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: I ordered a Telly tank for my 5 year old on 3/14/14. It said back ordered allow 2 weeks for shipping. I called on 4/15 because still hadn't received. I was told it was shipping within 24-48 hrs. I still haven't received. Called today and was told it would be several more weeks. They took my credit card info for a product they don't have.Desired Settlement: I want the company to send my order ASAP

Review: I purchased a spin mop at a local retailer after seeing it advertised on television. The one I purchased says on the box to put the mop in the bucket and spin to clean. It has no mechanism to produce that action in the bucket. I called the number [redacted] to inquire why I see on television that you can spin the mop clean in the bucket and why it also says so on my box, but it isn't set up to do so. I was told that only the spin mop deluxe does that. Nowhere in the commercial does it mention that there are two models. The box certainly doesn't. So I asked to speak to the supervisor. His only remedy was for me to spend yet another 49.99 and then he would send me one with the correct bucket. What???? I told him I was going to file a complaint with the Revdex.com and he said that if that made me happy to do so. I feel like the box is misleading and deceptive and the contents does not fit the description on the box. It is clearly false advertising. It took me using the product a few times and watching the commercial again to realize that mine didn't do what theirs did because my bucket isn't the same.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the correct bucket. The one that is described on the box that has the ability to "simply put the mop in the bucket and spin the dirt away"

Review: The phantom saucer is the crummiest, cheapest toy I've ever bought. It says ages 6+ but there's no way a six-year old could 1)follow the directions or 2)assemble it without having something break, or 3) have the dexterity to operate this thing. The invisible string is impossible to handle and breaks off easily. I was sorry to disappoint my six-year grandson. The toy is made of cheap material and the directions are ridiculous (fasten the invisible string over your ear using a tiny piece of putty!). This toy should be taken off the market, especially at $9.99 (CVS). How can you disappoint little kids like this? Let the buyer beware.Desired Settlement: $9.99

Review: I ordered the special deal of two Hurricane Spin Mops and free shipping from a televised commercial (As Seen on TV) the offer also appears on the web site. I was prompted through automated help only. I gave my debit card number and the automated order totally was wrong. It said I ordered only one mop and charged me shipping. I could not get out of the call, nor could I get a live person. I went to the computer and there is no way to fix the problem. The customer Cr keeps looping the same message.So I called the NEW order number and prompted nothing until I got a live person. His name was given as [redacted]. He said it was too soon to see the order in the computer, Call back tomorrow or I could wait until the mop arrived and send it back, or cancel. Since the order was wrong I chose to cancel. He gave me a cancelation number of [redacted]...which is my phone number. That was 3 weeks ago. As of yesterday, my checking account was debited. I have received nothing. The bank said I have to have proof of the transaction or product return information in order to protest the transaction. The Telebrands affiliation to As Seen on TV is a major scam.I was charged for a product I did not receive with no way of communicating with anyone.Desired Settlement: I would like someone to get in touch with this outfit and give my money back through a legal bank transaction. Review: On Dec 6, 2013, I ordered 1 set of Perfect Polly Pets on line at http://perfectpollypet.com. The set contained 2 Pets. According to both the on line Order Confirmation and the Confirmation email sent to me a few minutes after purchase, the first Pet cost $10.00; the second Pet cost $6.99; the total shipping was $6.99; and the total Sales Tax (7%) was $1.19. The Order Total, as listed In both the on line Order Confirmation and the Confirmation email, was $25.17.

The amount charged to my credit card was $25.66. In addition, a second set of Perfect Polly Pets, which I did not order, was sent to me and my credit card was charged $25.66 for that set also. When I called the company, they did not address the overcharge for the first set. They tried to tell me that I had ordered the second set. When I insisted that I had not and had, in fact, only received one (1) on line Order Confirmation and one (1) Confirmation email, I was told that I could return the second set, but I would have to pay the return postage.Desired Settlement: I wish three (3) things:

1. A credit to my [redacted] Credit Card in the amount of $0.49 for the overcharge on the ordered item;

2. A credit to my [redacted] Credit Card in the amount of $25.66 for the charge for the unordered item; and

3. A postage prepaid return label so that I can return the unordered item.

It was ZERO on both counts until the 17th...

I have even received my freeshipping.com rebate check!

I don't know about you, but where I'm from, you don't get a rebate, unless there is proof of payment....

Review: On 2-19-2014, I order a BOGO Hurricane Spin Mop, 39.99 + shipping and handling, a total of $52.99

A few minutes later I received a call back from The Spin Mop company wanting to verify my [redacted] card #, I told them I had just given it to them but he was just verifying my order number, so I gave it to him. He then proceeded to offer me an extra aggitator for the bucket, at an additional $10.00 charge.

Then he proceeded to offer alot of other SPECIALS to try for 30 days free, then you could cancel.

I agreed to a couple, saying I would cancel, he said OK. I just wanted to get the 2 mops.

On 3-6-14 I received 2 Spin Mops, The next day, 3-7-14, I received 3 more mops. I tried to call on the 3-7-14, I was on hold for 20 minutes. The next day, 3-8-14, I tried 2 more times, 1 time I waited for 10 mimutes, the next time I couldn't get an answer.

On Mon, 3-10-14, I tried to get them again, I was on hold for 10 minutes.

I then called [redacted] card and explained to them about getting the total of 5 Spin Mops. I did open the other packages to see if may they were extra parts for the my other 2 mops,but no, just 3 more mops.

[redacted] was able to get through to a person at the Spin Mop Company, They said that I had ordered, but it was a mistake, I DID NOT. They said to send them back and they would credit my account, but they WOULDN'T PAY the POSTAGE, I wanted them to issue a return postage certificate, but they would not, they said I opened the Boxes.

On 3-12-14, I sent them back, I had to pay $64.44 in return postage. I did send them certified as a safety factor for me.

On 4-7-14 I talked to [redacted] Card about my refund from them. The refunds have shown up, but balances due on 1 bill it is $19.99, the other is $29.99.The bills read as for an additional mop, not, the charges are really for thr Free rewards, & magazine offers $24.99 is Free rewards, the extra $5.00 On bill I don't know.Desired Settlement: I would simply like them to pay the return postage of $64.44.

Review: I heard about grass ology and went to there web site looked like a good deal until I realized how much it was going to cost so I went to [redacted] found the same product cheaper and ordered threw there site, a few days later I was looking at my credit card statement and saw grass ology charged me $47.96. I called to inquire about the charge and all I wanted was to be refunded and get them to pay my return shipping because I never purchased the product. the only consultation they offered was a $10 credit and I keep the grass seed. I then requested to speak to a supervisor at witch point I was told I will get the same answer making me just a little more furious I talk to the supervisor he offered me a $5.00 credit and then offered the $10.00 credit but again no return shipping label I'm out almost $50.00 that I did not authorize them to take I cant pay return shipping until the 1st and then wait another 3-5 days after they receive it to credit it to my account over all this has been a very stressful event and don't agree with there business practices and don't want other people to get scammed like I did.Desired Settlement: I feel like I should get a full refund along with the cost to ship this stuff back I don't no the cost to ship it back yet but im guessing it will not be cheap based of the weight of the package.

Review: At the original purchase of the merchandise, the bill was 102.92. full payment. When items were received, the dust mops were not included and a charge of 19.99 was added to bill. Review: Re: StarShower. I ordered online on Dec. 7th, 2015, unaware that the delivery time would be over a month later, Jan 18th 2016. They should have stipulated that on their website, yet they still continue to air their commercials on TV. (including an option for Rush Delivery) I called this number [redacted] and it automatically told me when my order was to ship, they have no call center, just a recording based on the phone number you called them on. This is unacceptable. So, I called the number that was on the commercial and again, there was no person to speak with, just an announcement that they would not be able to ship for Christmas Delivery, yet that is what they are advertising with these lights. If I had known that the delivery time was going to be over a month away, I wouldn't have ordered. Why are they still advertising on TV if they can not fulfill any of the orders? That is not fair, and I think they should be told so and their commericals be pulled off the air.Desired Settlement: I bought your product for delivery asap, reasonably 7-10 day delivery, not over a month later. And even though you are not going to bill my cc until after it ships, you should have a call center set up for those who want to cancel their orders. Review: I placed on order online for Star Showers-set of 3 red/green plus extra long stakes $119.98 and star shower wireless remote set of 2 for $29.98 plus $4.99 ship on 11/30 and was given order number #[redacted] and a billed amount of $154.95. I immediately received a call from [redacted]. She called she said to make sure my order went through. I asked her name which she said was Angel, and her company which she said was Telebrands. I said I did not have a ship date. She said to call [redacted] that was the customer service number. I then called my credit card co. through UBS & talked with Lavey to see if any complaints had been registered against this company. She tried the phone number she had on line, we waited 5 minutes & talked with Richmond. He wanted to verify everything on my order. It was as if he did not really have the order. When asked when it would ship he said 2-3 business days. He then disconnected us. UBS said I could only file complaint after charge was no longer pending which it still is. A few days later I went on line to check status or my above order # . Then I had a different order # [redacted] & still no ship date. When I went on line today the order now carries today's date 12/6. I have tried to call both above numbers since and have yet to get an answer. I then sent an email on I think 12/3 and got a response on 12/4 at 4:25 pm saying I should expect a response in 24-48 hours. I tried calling the above 813 number this morning at about 8 am. They have a totally different recording today. It says they are active order processing 9 a-9 p M-S To check status of order call [redacted] M-F 9a-4p Eastern time or checking status go to www.becactivebrace.com. That is another made for TV item. If Telebrands is not behind this, then someone is using their company name for this scam. Star Shower continues to advertise on TV, and the stores that I have contacted locally Target, Walmart, & Sears get a few each day.Desired Settlement: I want to receive the product I ordered in a timely manner this week. Whatever part of this is a scam, I would like to see those active prosecuted and run out of business. If there is no more product, then I would like to see the advertising on TV and in print stopped.

I am rejecting this response because:I was given multiple dates for when to expect the product but on 12/15 I was told by end of day 12/18. Then on 12/17, delivery was changed to end of day 12/19. It did arrive today 12/19. When I first ordered the product, I suspected there might be fraud since immediately after placing the order, I got a call wanting to confirm my billing credit card which I refused to do. As I indicated to you in my original report, I called my credit card company to say I suspected fraud. Yesterday 12/18, I had a charge to my credit card from a company Procura I do not do business with. I called my credit card company who said it is a business selling groceries in Guatelama. My credit card has a chip. Star Shower is the only purchase I made on the internet this holiday season. My credit card company cancelled my credit card today and is in the process of issuing me a new one. I would like Telebrands to look at what their processing is on credit cards to make sure customer information is secure. I feel like mine was compromised perhaps through their ordering process.

Review: I ordered a Natural Solutions to things that bug you book. Received the book ok and was charged for the book. Not a problem. A week later I receive a second book with a note that they were out of the softback book and shipped the hard back book instead. Naturally I believed it was an error and tried contacting the company tonight. Here is the problem, we considered ordering the book last year and cancelled at the last minute after providing a credit card. They took the funds but refunded the full price last year when we cancelled. This year when I order the book, gave them a different credit card. They debited my account and I received the first book. When I received the second book, I checked my bank and they debited the card from last year. Now they won't refund the money for shipping and handling stating I ordered the second book. I believe this is their error due to the shortage of soft back books.Desired Settlement: Refund including the shipping and handling on the second book.

Review: I ordered a Pocket Hose on 7/30/14. I again called Pocket Hose to cancel Pocket Hose 7/30/14 after talking with my daughter. The man assured me it would be cancelled and gave me the cancellation number of [redacted]. It sat on my checking account as a pending transaction from order date to 8/7/2014 when they sent the charge through. I called and tried to make sense of what happened. I found their explanation crazy. They first wanted me to accept the Hose with a $5.00 discount. I talked to a Supervisor named Arthur who then offered me a $10.00 discount. They have shipped the Hose and now expect me to return the item and return it at my own expense (My FED X person always leaves the package after the ringing the door bell. He doesn't wait around for me to answer the door.) although they said they would return the cost of return shipment. Please understand that I think this must be a common practice with them hoping the customer will just say okay and keep the Hose accept the Discount of $5. or $10. They have had my money (deducted at time of order by my bank even though marked pending) and will still have my money for at least two to three more weeks. I have not even received the Hose at this point, it is on its way according to Arthur. I work with computers and know that they should beable to check my order and cancel it before it is shipped therefore refunding my money. HELP Don't let anyone else go through this mess.Desired Settlement: I expect my money returned along with return shipping costs. I expect them to explain to customers at time of purchase that they will have a possible month wait if item is cancelled before returning their money. I expect them to stop the practice of a discount to keep their hose. I want them to understand how madding and frastrating it can be for their type of practice. Review: February 11, 2014 I ordered two mops or $40.00. I then received four of them and they charged me more than $19.99 each. They called me a week later and wanted my credit card number again. I told her that if she couldn't handle a simple order I didn't want them and didn't give her the number. I cancelled the order. I called them and they insisted that I ordered four. They charged me $39.99 for three and then $19.99 for the 4th one.Desired Settlement: I had to pay $116.08 to ship all these products back. They gave me credit for the mops and charged me shipping for all of them.

Review: Call daily to say they need my credit card # as it expired so they can complete my order.

Every day someone from grabbag.com calls from the # of ###-###-#### to say they need my credit card number to complete my order. which I don't want any more.

I emailed the company a few weeks ago and they continue to call anyway. Apparently they don't get their emails? To contact my cell EVERY DAY is ridiculous!

Now I would never order from their company due to their customer service or lack of. It is always a man from India who calls.Desired Settlement: For them to remove my number from their database and to NOT EVER CALL ME AGAIN.

Review: T.V. commercial offered two spin mops and two Sticky Buddies for the price of $39.98 "if we would call now"

Once the two mops were received, billed for 39.98 + s/h of $12.99 + 19.99 extra for the second mop

The second mop leaks

Only one sticky buddy sent

I can live with only one sticky buddy... However, I want the T.V. offered honored (the 19.99 for the second mop removed as a bill remaining to be paid), and I want a second mop that doesn't leak.Desired Settlement: I want a complete refund of what I've paid so far (52.97 credit card + the billing still remaining of $19.99 removed) OR

I want a replacement for the second mop that leaks + a removal of the extra billing of $19.99 that they are still expecting me to pay. I also want any record of my credit card removed from their records.

Mrs. [redacted] saw Spin Mop ad on TV and called to order on/about January 16. The ad said buy 1, get 1 free. With S&H, it should've cost about $60. The credit card she used is in her husband name, [redacted].

The mops didn't show up so she talked to someone on the phone and he confirmed her delivery info and also tried to sell her additional products she didn't want. He said the mops would show up in about 6 days, which they did. Then a little time later, a box with 2 more mops arrived. After that, an additional 2 mops arrived. She checked her bank and she was charged $152.90 on 2/7 and $72.96 on 2/15.

She called about return/refund for products she didn't order, but was told she'd have to ship them back at her expense for a $30 refund. That is unacceptable.Desired Settlement: Refund for the unordered products. If company wants the extra 4 mops back, they should pay to have them shipped back.

I purchased two star showers and paid extra to ship 3 to 5 business days and has been several days still has not been shipped can not talk to anyone by phone nor gotten any response bad business!!!
