Case number assigned to this incident by Kroger: *** - 7/5/Mike from Kroger called, left voice mail stating the amount overcharged would be credited back to my account within 7-business days. 8/- Spoke with Ellie at Kroger, she called in my bank and spoke with them. Ellie insisted the credit had been done, the bank could not locate it. Ellie stated the refund occurred the same day it happened, 6/30. 9/- Spoke with Richie at Kroger - He stated it was returned to my bank, that I had to take it up with them. He stated it was returned on 8/1, and that proof was sent to my bankI asked that he forward me a copy of the proof, so I could take that to the bank. He said he would, no problem. I never received it. Per this response I received yesterday, I AGAIN contacted Kroger. 10/- spoke with Angela who stated the refund was issued back to me on 7/7. Notice I have been given different dates as to when the refund supposedly occurred. Angela also stated they could not share with me the proof, she could only give me an adjustment numberI took the adjustment number, called my bank, they searched and they do not show EVER receiving the credit. So I am still out an extra $and Kroger's has done nothing but lie to me each time I have called. I do not know if Kroger keyed in the wrong account number when they attempted to return the money and it ended up with someone else, or more likely, never returned it since I am being given conflicting datesI would now prefer that Kroger issue a check and mail it out since this credit via the bank does not appear to be working

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI wanted to report this sooner, but there was no way for me to access this site until there was a replyIt took about calls to customer connect, wasted cell phone minutes, and even more emails, and about almost months, but the issue was fixedOne of Kroger's customer service reps told me to get a new card in early July, I did and they activated it over the phoneWhat they didn't do was put my address on the card account informationFinally last time I called, a rep named Kevin noticed this right away, and the tech team got on it and fixed everythingI would just advise Kroger's reps should be more trained to these matters regarding activating new cards over the phoneI am very happy the coupons are working now and so glad this mess has been resolved!
