Attached is the written response from Kroger, denying the claim and any responsibility for the contamination incident. We, the Complainants, hereby reject the response provided by Kroger in its entirety. The reasons are 1) this subsidiary of Kroger repeatedly refuses to substantiate their claims with documented evidence refuting, beyond a reasonable doubt, that the fuel purchased by the Complainants on or about 7 October 2015 was not contaminated. 2) To simply provide a one-page written statement denying responsibility without providing verifiable written proof, is in itself inconclusive and lacks creditability. Yet, we, the Complainants, have provided irrefutable proof that the Kroger fuel products purchased on a specific day and at a specific time is directly tied to the contamination and inoperative condition of our vehicle which is not requiring a massive reconstruction of the entire fuel system. Kroger also refuses to contact the [redacted] Dealership for the official fuel analysis report. Instead they have made a unsupported, unsubstantiated and unrelated statement that "After a careful review of the facts regarding your incident, our investigation has revealed no negligence on behalf of the store......." We are not now nor have we ever claimed that the [redacted] store, its staff, were negligent or the root cause of the contamination incident. What we are stating is the fuel product sold to us on or about 7 October 2015 is directly tied to fuel contamination in our vehicle. We have offered to provide Kroger with the fuel analysis report which they have refused to request. Therefore, we are highly suspicious of Kroger's motive and their impartiality when they make misleading claims of having to "investigate this incident" fully which is neither been substantiated or proven to be factual. I have turned this case over to [redacted] for further action but this does not negate our Revdex.com complaint against Kroger or the necessity to hold the Kroger leadership accountable for its failure to properly and timely investigate this incident without bias and prejudice.
