We appreciate the opportunity to address the customer’s concern with the assistance of the Revdex.comWhen any kind of debit, credit or pre paid card is used directly at our fuel station it is an industry standard for the card’s issuing bank or financial institution to place holds on the cards balance
This is to ensure that there are adequate funds in that account to pay for the fuel purchaseThe pre-hold amount differs among banking/financial institutionsIt can be a certain dollar amount or the maximum amount of fuel allowed to be dispensed at one time at that locationThis information is clearly disclosed on the pump. Typically, pre-holds are released within hours from the time it was initiatedAgain, the length of time and the amount are determined at the bank’s/financial institutions discretion. If you prepay for your fuel through the fuel center attendant rather than at the pump, the hold will be no greater than the amount of the purchase.If you would like further information or assistance regarding pre-holds, you may contact the Kroger Customer Relations Center (KCRC).KCRC Number: ###-###-####

Revdex.com: First of all I do not have Medicare and second of all the reason there listed in the response was not the problem at all and If this is how they operate this business then Kroger is in bad shape.To not even research into the problem the response was not accurateIf someone would have called and got my side of the story it would have been nice

We want to apologize for any inconvenience this customer has encountered by purchasing our productIt is not our intentions to frustrate or upset our customers but the information they've received multiple times previously by our Customer Service is correctWe simply do not have the option to
issue a refund for a product by cash, check or directly to a credit/debit cardWe can only issue a refund to a customer's shopper's card, a gift card or a paper coupon and all of these must be redeemed in one of our storesAfter researching, we have already issued this customer a refund of $to their shopper's card and this $of this credit has been redeemedThe customer has informed our Customer Service that they did not redeem this credit because they do not live in an area with our stores so someone else must have used itOur Customer Service offered to secure their shopper's card by removed their alt id from the account and return the credit to the card but the customer refused this serviceWe want to assure the customer that their concern regarding the performance of this product has already been properly documented and all of the appropriate parties have been notified in order to ensure better performance in the futureAlso this product does have directions on how to be removed and I've included it with this responseBut we only have three options to issue a refundIf the customer is refusing these options then there is nothing else we can do and we respectfully request for this case to be closed as we have nothing further to add.Regards,Kroger Co.Ref # ***

I would like to talk to someone in charge at this store I have another event coming up soon, Can I be certain this won't happen again and if it does is there a Manager always on site, When a order is placed a ID should be manatory to be showed for pick up for pre paid orders

it appears that the company focused on the policy and not the behavior of their employeeThe basis of the complaint was the unacceptable behavior of GeoffNOt the policyNext time Geoff or any other employee addresses me in that manner, follows me around that store yelling tonwherenother customers are telling them to calm down, I WILL call the police and video record thisYour response is unacceptable.
