Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
In the latest response from Kroger, they stated that the product in question was a gift card. This is incorrect; As I have previously stated, the card I purchased was a "[redacted] Add Minutes" card. Secondly, the Kroger response stated that they would not be financially responsible for the card because they do not manufacture the product. This is also incorrect. Just because Kroger does not manufacture a product does not absolve them from financial liability. Simply put, as a retailer, Kroger is still responsible for any product they sell. If the product is defective and the retailer can not fix quickly, then that is a problem that the retailer and the manufacturer need to resolve, not the retailer and the customer. Typically, a business will give a refund or replacement product to a customer who returns a defective product. As I have previously stated, I have contacted the manufacturer, and they told me that the card was not activated and that the card simply needed to be re-swiped. In the previous response, the person who asked for my Kroger ID was Carrera Smith, and she contacted me via email at [email protected]. Kroger Customer relations can reach me at ###-###-#### or at [redacted].This part of my message is for the Revdex.com. I know your agency's stated purpose is to simply help facilitate dialogue, but you must be here for more than that. If that was your only responsibility, why would any corporation even care to respond to anything. I am a mere customer; I can do nothing to them. As an agency that helps protect consumers from bad business practices of corporations and other entities, you have a responsibility and a duty to be the check and balance to them. I am sure you have much more complicated issues on your plate to resolve. It does not take King [redacted] to figure out who is telling the truth. Kroger now officially has my Kroger ID, by way of Carrera S., an executive representative of Kroger. DO THE RIGHT THING. Be the check and balance that is necessary for this industry to work properly.

I have already submitted a claim to their insurance provider and they have disallowed all responsibility for their property damaging my vehicle. They state these carts are for the convenience of their customers and that they are not responsible for their carts if their customers do not put them where they belong or return them to the store. It is an unacceptable response. If my property damages someone else's property, even if I do not have it under my control at the time I am responsible for the damages. Why King Soopers and their insurer feels that the property that they purchased and maintain for use in their stores is not their responsibility if it causes damages is beyond me. The only resolution that I will find acceptable is for them to reimburse me for the repair costs of my vehicle that was damaged by their property in the amount of $616.16.
