I did not receive any type of sincerity on the phone regarding the incident, only a $10 gift card which does not cover my purchase or gas that it cost me to drive all the way back to Kroger due to the inconvenience so this does rectify the situation

[redacted] While I am more than satisfied with the credit that Kroger claims they put on my shopper's card... They are dictating all of the terms regading how I can access that credit. Kroger has no business dictating any terms to me whatsoever. I have sent a further email to them stating such. I am awaiting their response. I have told them, in very clear terms, that if they don't make any changes.... changes that will allow me to access the $20 credit as I wish.. that the offer will be deemed unacceptable.. their response will be deemed unacceptable.. and that the case will not be resolved.

Coupon usage can vary by store location and our store directors/managers determine how coupons can/cannot be used at their location for the welfare of all of their store’s customers. The store director/manager has the right to accept, decline or limit the quantity of coupons or items used or purchased in a single transaction, by a single customer, or in a single day. The coupon policy is subject to change without notice. We appreciate the opportunity to address the customer’s concern with the assistance of the Revdex.com. The customer comments were shared with our upper management team. We have determined the correct process was followed and therefore declining the customer's request for compensation. By giving your pin number and if Kroger system get hacked than they have more information than just my card number they now have my pin number Kroger is doing this to make money and covering it up like they are trying to help their customers I liked Krogers but they lost another customer as they are as rude and could careless wha ttheir customers think just like their local managers Now I know where and why they act like they do they get it from corporate

I received a response from Kroger explaining to me that I could have returned the donut and received a refund; they also placed $5 on my Kroger card. I find their "token of appreciation" to be disrespectful and dismissive. No amount of money could remedy this situation, however, to be given $5 and be told that I could have returned the donut is simply just a lack of respect for a long term customer. My daughter could have been deathly ill if the pork entered her system. If Kroger is unaware of the effects of pork on a system that is virgin to it, they should educate themselves before just dismissing our concerns. I am appalled at their lack of attention to this matter. I'm even more concerned that this could happen to others; is there a reason why the donuts are not labeled that they may contain pork? As this is not a normal practice for a donut. Is there a reason why their products aren't labeled as possibly having nuts, as having a nut allergy is serious. I see a lot of offenses here, however, I am only concerned with my own at this point and the blatant disregard for my family. I do not accept Kroger's response or "token of appreciation". I'm actually very unsure of what they expect me to do with $5 in their store, purchase 5 more donuts that could possibly have pork in or on them? What a joke!
