Separation alerts do not work. They go off when the trackr is right next to the phone! Hence it beeps all the time even when the two are close.
Sometimes when you leave your item, the alert does not sound too. The company claims the app works in the background but I got a good 500m away and no alert occurred. As soon as I opened the iOS app, the alert went off. Kinda pointless if the separation alerts only actually work when the app is open (unlike what is claimed).
