Horrible service---AVOID! DO NOT RECOMMENDI ordered flowers last weekend for my sister' birthday; google header said Troys is located in *** *** but its notIts located in NJ but more importantly, they sent me an email four days later telling me they could not fill my order as ordered but could substitute other flowers for more moneyThis was a $order already and they took my order, charged my credit card, but don't have the flowers available that I ordered (ie spray roses with greenery)---they waited four days, the day of the delivery to tell me if I paid more they could fill itThe email said they had tried to reach me but they had my cell number and did not call itAgain they charged me in full but knew they didn't have the flowers to fill the orderThey tried to get me to pay more after I paid $When I called them, I said I was the person they sent the email to telling me if I didn't pay more they could not fill the orderThey had no idea who I was without the "order number" , presumably because I was not the only customer they had sent the "bait and switch" email to---when I told them no I was not going to pay more they said they would refund my credit card and when I asked them why they charged it when they knew they didn't have the flowers to fill it, they said they "owe me" no explanationWhen I pressed them on their lack of presence in *** ***, they said they never said they were there (but the google byline does!)Finally, I asked them if they were a "call center", presumably a company that takes orders and then farms them out to legitimate florists in the areaThey hung up on meI still have yet to receive the creditI did not authorize them to charge my card for an order they said in writing they could not fill without my paying moreAnd, finally they said in writing they tried to call me but they had my cell and I have no record of them calling meThey waited to last minute to email me for more moneyI cannot express enough how much I am concerned about this business' business practices

The worst everI paid for a Piece of crap

I made an a bouquet order for my daughter's 22nd birthday for a bouquet of flowers that were called Purple medley, the vase was purple with white roses with purple flowers around itAfter my order was made and the money was taken out of my bank account I received an email that with the location from the delivery shop that'll be an extra $but because they talkd to the manager it was only going to be an extra if I wanted to cancel I needed to call cuz you can't cancel by emailI called to cancel my order and the lady was very rude to me did not let me finish one sentence interrupted me and said I wouldn't be charged the flowers were already sent out I hung up I wasn't dealing with her anymore.They deliver the flowers anyway they were orange ugly flowers with a clear vaseI emailed them back telling them that they delivered the wrong flowers and they said send me a picture so I sent them a picture and they said because the florist didn't have what I asked for I got what the flor

I ordered flowers for my mothers birthday march on 15th.She got the flowers and sent me a picI was beside myself because they were nothing like what I orderedI was pretty mad about it when I called TroysI demanded a refund, the girl told me to send her a pic of the flowers my mom gotI did and called her back right awayShe was really nice about and said she understands Im really upset and she would give me a full refundOk so I got an email that said to business days to credit my cardI googled reviews for them and all I saw was bad stuffI was pretty much kissing my $goodbye when days later it credited my cardI really couldnt believe itI wouldnt order from them again and take a chance, but at least they did the right thing this time

I ordered flowers from Troys Florist to be sent to a funeralThe original arrangement had to be switched to something smaller based on space at the funeral homeI selected a smaller and slightly less expensive arrangement, which I was supposed to receive a refund for the differenceOn the funeral day the flowers that were received was not even close to what had been ordered and the sympathy card was sloppily written and misspelledWhen I contacted them to complain and receive a refund, they refused a full refund and attempted to only off a 10% refund which was no where near enoughAfter going back and forth for a couple of days they refunded me 20% which was still not enough because the flowers sent were much cheaper than what was paidThey are hiding behind a substitution policy that states if a location doesn't have the exact flowers they would have to sub something outThis was not a substitution, it was a completely different order so they can't use their substitution policy

Save your time and money, flowers where three days late for funeral, and nothing close to the arrangement picked out in fact not a single flower was from the arrangement

A great example of lying and bait & switch When I spoke with them on the phone, they assured me they were a local florist in the VA area where I wanted flowers delivered What I wanted was in stock and available for next day delivery The next day I received an email at 6:AM telling me I had minutes to respond or they would be sending a "florist choice" arrangement instead of what I had orderedOf course, I didn't see the email until noon When I called back, they couldn't tell me what had been delivered or who had done it Since it was a sympathy arrangement, it is a little indelicate of me to call and ask if the recipient even got flowers They refused to give me my money back, said they could only refund 10%, but I haven't even gotten an email confirming that Buyer Beware - my fault for not checking further before I trusted them! I'm disputing the charges Negative stars!!!

While my Mom was in the hospital I ordered a plant to be deliveredThe plant cost was before other feesUpon arriving to see her there was a small arrangement of flowers that were not the plant I orderedWhen I called I was given instructions to send a pictureI did so, as well as sending information that the tag that was left on the arrangement had a price listed as This was far less value than the product I orderedI recieved no call back the next dayWhen I called the customer service rep was extremely rude and dismissiveThe next day I called and tried to talk to a managerI was informed she was on the phone so I followed instructions to get an email and picture to herUpon receiving my email, the manager offered a 15% discountThis was unacceptable as this didn’t reflect the difference in product valuesThe final offer was only a 20% refund, which is still far less than the differenceThey refuse to refund the difference between what was ordered and what w

Dang, I wish I had read all these complaints before ordering flowers! I searched local florists and this came up Well I didn't know it wasn't based where I was looking The flowers (if that's what you can call them) were delivered on time but the quality and quantity did not match was I paid for I am currently about emails in to trying to get a refund but they keep saying substitutions are sometime required That I get, my issue is that the flower look crappy and there are about half as many as I ordered So far the offer is to refund 15% but I will no settle for that! If they don't give me a full refund I will contact my bank and report it as a scam What a joke! DON'T ORDER FROM HERE!

I ordered a bouquet of flowers from Troys Florist on Dec for delivery on Dec The flowers were not delievered on Dec 24thI called the florist on Dec 26th and was told the flowers were out for delivery on Dec 26thThe flowers were not deliveredAfter several emails with the florist I was told the flowers would be delivered as soon as possibleThe flowers were delivered on Dec 28th and resemble nothing like the bouquet that was ordered onlineThe item that was delivered would have cost considerably less and the flowers are clearly old and past their bestThis leads me to believe that Troys Florist is scamming people out of their money with advertising and delivering a below par productLooking online a see a clear trend in this behaviorOn reflection I should have conducted bettwe research on the florist before placing my order

I ordered a flower arrangement through their websiteI selected a date for delivery which was clearly available on the website which advertised same day deliveryI was contacted on the 27th saying the shops in the area were closed and would not be delivered till the next day which I said was fineI was then contacted again on the 28th saying the shop did not have the color of rose indicated on the description but asked if I minded a different color to which I agreedWhen my recipient received her arrangement, there were less roses than the arrangment was supposed to come with and only fillerThe arrangement looked like it was put together by a complete amateur and definitely was not a $looking bouquetI wrote customer service and told them my issues and sent picturesThey only offered me 35% off trying to site their substitution policyI was fine with the substitution as long as it was up to par quality wise which it was notThe 35% back would just barely cover their $

I ordered flowers for my granddaughter's birthday on Thursday to be delivered on Friday....they weren't Called Satat 8:am...got the run-around...called back at noon....more run around....called back at and was told they never got to my order! This is ridiculous! Never use this florist!

I ordered flowers for my Mom's birthday on-line Troy's florist advertised as a local florist (Kingfisher, OK), so I placed the order with them They are not local, and took a chunk of the purchase price and passed on a smaller amount to another local florist in Kingfisher OK to deliver the flowers to my Mom This related in my Mom receiving a smaller flower arrangement
I would NEVER have chosen them if I'd known they weren't local I will NEVER use them again They should be fined for advertising as LOCAL when they ARE NOT

I placed an Internet order at about a.mon June for a flower arrangement to be delivered on June to an address in Bethesda, MD I received an email within the hour, confirming the price and the delivery date specified in my order At 1:p.mon June the vendor left me a voice mail asking me to authorize a substitution in the order, at an increased price I returned the call at 3:p.mon June and asked that the order be cancelled because I did not want to pay the increased price At 3:p.mon June I received a voice mail from a member of the vendor's staff who identified herself as "a manager." The voice mail said that my order could not be cancelled because it had already been delivered I called back and spoke with the "manager" at 3:p.m I told her that I expect a full refund for my order because I had not authorized delivery of the order (1) a day early and (2) at an increased price Nevertheless, my credit card has been charged for the deliver

This site is a scam When I did a google search, it came up with Troy's Florist in Fontana, CA It turns out that this is some company in NJ that pretends to be local There is a blurb on their website thanking people for supporting local business and claiming that they are a family business opened in I ordered a beautiful, and expensive, succulent arrangement What arrived was a joke It did not fall under the category of florist substitution I complained and they would only give me a %refund and stated that they would no longer use that location Oh really? Didn't you say you were local? There is even a dontusetroysflowers.com website devoted to this rip-off which, unfortunately, I did not find until after my troubles

"SAME DAY FLOWER DELIVERY" This is what is currently advertised for this companyI placed my order online and then proceeded to receive an email from them over hours later stating they cannot fulfill this without additional fundsThis was not advertised in the initial checkout after I already went through the entire process

I canceled an order with Troy's Florist because they wanted to charge me extra money and could not deliver on time as promised The flowers were for a family funeral I received a written email confirming that I would be refunded $ To date, they have not refunded the money They provided a $refund for my difficulties with the order They claim the flowers were delivered I have family members who confirmed the flowers never arrived When I contacted them about the written confirmation they would refund my money, they declined to refund my moneyThis business is also a scam because it advertises itself as a family business in KY when it is not in KY

This was the worst experience with a florist I ever hadI ordered flowers from Troys Florist, (thinking it was a local florist), for a funeral that same dayAfter waiting until almost the end of the service with no floral delivery, I emailed customer serviceThey said the florist didn't have enough time to make them from when they received the orderI was not notified of this at allSo after showing my daughter the beautiful arrangement her boyfriend's grandmother was being delivered to her funeral, she was so disappointed they didn't show upTroys sent me an email saying give us an address and we will deliver an upgraded bouquet tomorrowSo I sent one to her boyfriend's motherWhat a disappointmentNot only was it not even close to what I ordered, it was at least sizes smaller than what I had paid forWhen I complained they offered a 10% refundThis site is a scamThey don't fulfill your order with the same product at allI wish I could get somewhere to give a review that people can read it and not have the same disappointing results

Please do not do business with this company I called Troys Florist yesterday and ordered an arrangement to be delivered today I received this email this morningThank you so much for placing an order with us going out to HampdenI tried to contact you with the phone number that was left in your orderThe location in that area has a required minimum on just the flower arrangement alone In order to get the delivery out there, we would need an additional $that would go towards your minimum arrangement cost The order is also not able to go out for today's delivery but can go out tomorrowWe do apologize for the inconvenience this has caused; they are the only location that does deliver to that areaPlease contact us as soon as possible so we can take care of this for you If we do not hear a response I will process the refund for you to insure that your funds are released back to you, but you can always call back to have it reversed if you would like to pay the additional fundsI thought this was a local company - not a company in NJ I don't understand how they can be this deceptive and still be in business
