This is a customer service issue and product issuePurchased for the first time one of your products for a new condo I just moved intoWe opened box yesterday and realized we couldn't locate the support stands for the TVI located the bag with four screws and checked the entire boxContacted customer support which I thought would help me but instead was hit with some hidden policy in regards to the TV must have been purchased within days to send out missing partsThey even accused me of purchasing an open box and I advised it was newHowever, humans do make mistakes and maybe the items weren't packed in the boxDon't appreciate being called a liar My complaint number is *** and receipt is attached to the complaint

On January I began to have an issue with my Vizio television that I purchased from Best Buy in April After going through the proper channels I received an appointment for a warranty repair to the TV through their third party repair serviceI was given a customer service request number of *** and the appointment was scheduled for the following weekAfter receiving my appointment date and time which fell on one of my work days, I took a vacation day to meet the repairmanThe afternoon of my appointment I received a call from the repairman saying that they parts did not come in in time to fix the TV, which I later found out that they were never orderedAfter contacting the company service company and Vizio multiple times I was assured that they would work with me and they were able to set up an appointment for the following WednesdayKnowing the issue I had the first time around I called the repair company the day prior and learned that the parts were still not

I changed internet today and I go to restart my tv and it’s not able to connect even though all of the other devises workThe tech had no clue what to do kept telling me to do the same thing over and over againThan finally it gets escalated to some guy named Harley in the executive resolutions team of the cooperate office of south Delors who than asks me to find a receipt from months ago to prove my tv is in warrantyI’m sorry but the tv worked fine it’s a wireless tv and the wireless isn’t working sounds like a manufacturing issueHe was rude he treated me like a child he talked down to meAfter I told him I was going to write this complaint as well post on my very high volume blog about my experience , it was than he resided to send out a complimentary technicianThat he wanted me to know was going to cost “a couple dollars” like it was a burden on themI’m sorry I believe we would can that your jobI am an established year old with more schooling than that man has ha

We spent $on a 60" television less than two years ago (new out of the box)The television now has a backlighting issue that will cost more to fix than the television is worthAfter escalating this issue to what they said is the highest it can go all they can provide me is what they call a discount on a smaller televisionVisio does not stand by it's products although there was no extended warranty purchased a television should last more than two years with out having such an expensive fixThere resolution was to discount me for a new smaller model televisionwhich is unacceptableAll I am really looking for is the television to be repaired free of charge if Visio stands by there productsI am not looking for a new television nor the expense of purchasing a new televisionhowever, Visio themselves recommend purchasing an new television because of the complexity of the repairThey will not even entertain the idea of repairing or replacing this television for a same

I got a tv months ago and we used it a few times and one day we turned it on and it had color lines on it so we sent photos to them and they say its a internal problem so they say the one year warranty wont work I didn't break it I got it for dollars I know that's not a lot of money but it is to us

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The VIZIO product that was sold to me is clearly of poor manufacturing I have found numerous websites with others describing a similar spontaneous problem with LCD screens Vizio's assumption that there must have been some non-manufacturing related problem is not possible, and they have not demonstrated that the defect in my TV is from any trauma - because IT'S SIMPLY NOT POSSIBLE They have not seen the TV, they have not demonstrated what type of "trauma" could occur to this TV that has been mounted on the wall since Aug 2015, and only started having problems in the last weeks
The replacement TV is being offered at a discounted price They have made no more specific information as to what this might be I am reluctant to get another VIZIO product after this interaction, but if the discount is a replacement TV at no charge, then I would consider that as satisfactory resolution of this matter
Regards,

I've been a Vizio customer for years now I have a 42" Vizio TV for about years with no issues I purchased a 49" and a 55" Vizio TV and both went bad after the one year warranty was up49" was months old and the 55" was monthsI called Vizio's tech department and they couldn't assist with the issueThe top of the 49" TV was gray the 55" TV just won't turn on, the power light is on but no sound or pictureI was on the phone with Vizio's tech support last night and spoke with the managerShe kept saying the TV is out of warranty and I will need to take it to a repair centerWhat a joke!! Vizio does not stand by their productsThere are alot of other Vizio customers complaining about their TV's experiencing this same issue Obversely there are defective TV'sThere is a class action law suite against Vizio My 55" MODEL # E550I-Bisn't part of this complaint as of yet I'll be joining the law suite when this TV is addedThe Vizio TV are defected and I'm very disappointed in Vizio for the fact they are not taking action and fixing these issues to keep their customers satisfiedJust google and read about the complaints regarding these issue and how TV's that are under warranty are not being repairedI really thought buying from an American company would be better but I guess it really doesn't matterVizio just lost another customer Remember Vizio for every unhappy customer you really loose to customersFrom a very disappointed customer
