I purchased a television and it stopped workingI called Vizio and spoke with *** ***, *** *** and *** ***, who stated there is nothing they can do because it is outside the year warrantyI paid over $and all I receive is a blank black screenVizio is aware they're selling defective products and something needs to be doneWhen you call their customer service and support they're rude, abrupt and doesn't care people spend their money to invest in a piece of junkConsumers trusted Vizio would sell a product that would like, not a piece of junk

I own a Vizio E701i-A3E inch flat screen TVOnly months out of warranty and my panel screen wentI called the company and was told this has been a problem because of a factory defect and yet they continued to sell these TV's without offering any kind of a recallKnowing it was a factory problem they tried to offered me a $discount off another Vizio inch TV, I was told the TV screen panel was non replaceable and basically a throw away TVThey knew there was a problem yet continued to unload these TV's onto the consumer hoping the TV would last until the warranty expiredI have read hundreds of complaints about their TV's breaking soon after the warranty expired and Vizio will not help you at all even knowing it was their own faultI'm now out $1,and Vizio could care less! I will never buy another Vizio TV, they sell knowingly defective TV's and won't stand behind their productPay the few extra hundred dollars on another brand, at least you'll know you're not buying a piece of junk! I'll never recommend a Vizio TV to anyone and they just lost all my business!

Do not buy a VIZIO television!!!! I purchased a brand new inch tv back in JuneWent out of town for a wknd, came back to watch some tv and noticed that the screen INTERNALLY was cracked after turning it onThe display or outer screen itself was completely intactI have not the slightest clue what could have possibly happened but customer service was trying to say I cracked the screen and it was caused by some type of blunt traumaI explained that the outer screen isn’t broken at all but they were not trying to hear what I had to say even though the tv was still under warrantyKeep in mind the household does NOT have any children or pets so there’s no way in hell that the tv was damaged from an outside sourceI went on YouTube and learned that it may very well be a “thermal crack” caused by an internal hardware failureVizio rep said I need to consult a tv repairman and they cannot/will not help meNow I’m stuck with a 50” useless brickDo yourself a favor and DO NOT buy from a company that doesn’t help their consumersShame on you Vizio!!! ??

Please be advised that VIZIO has determined that the VIZIO
television in question suffered a non-manufacturing defect, which is not covered under VIZIO’s warranty. The issue with the VIZIO television is the result of a cracked screen. Pictures of the screen are attached to this email for your review. A copy of VIZIO’s warranty can be viewed online at ***.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Like I said before it is very disappointing that a company that says "the quality of our product is very important to us," does not show that it cares about their customers or stand behind their productI spent a lot of money on this 70" 3D TV and I finally finished paying it off in December 2014, now I have a ViZio TV that is worthless and Vizio expects me to accept an offer of $discount on another TVI worked hard to earn the money to pay for my TV, and I don't have the money to purchase another oneVizio seem like just another company that cares about the bottom dollar and not the consumerI hate feeling like I got ripped off with a poor product, and be expected to feel grateful that I'm getting an offer of another TV that is 65" for $I paid close to $for my 70" 3D TV, one of Vizio's higher end TVs, a product that expensive should not go out after monthsI will only accept an offer of getting my TV repaired or exchanged

Vizio provided an inferior product and has declined to provide for it's repair. On one occassion, a repair company came to my home - but only changed out a part that they suspected may cause the issue. It didn't resolve the issue. When I talked to "Josh" today - he stated that I did not call back within warranty. I did. I have been sold a lemon, it was not repaired, and then Vizio ignored my requests for assistance. Now, they are suggesting that I purchase ANOTHER television. It doesn't make sense, nor is it fair. I would like them to pick up this television and refund my money. I have spent many hours of my time dealing with their antics. I'm done. They pick up the tv, they pay me my purchase price and my communication with them will cease. My receipt is attached

I will not accept Vizio's dismissal excuse. They do not help consumers and it is just too convenient tor them to use the out of warranty clause when I tried prior to this to get a solution to the problem. *** ***

I purchased a vizio TV in December On August 4, my TV came crashing to the floor due to a defective leg provided by vizioThe customer service department kept insisting that it was an external force that made the TV fallThis occurred at 4am when myselfHusband and dog were all asleep in bedThey offered me a discounted price on another TVI never found out how much they were going to discount as this is not the resolution I wantedI do not trust this product at this point and do not want another vizio product where the legs do not even screw into the unitThis company should stand behind their products and take care of their customersI have now spent hours dealing with this issue with vizio

I have a vizio Tv (inch), I purchased a refurbished tv through Walmart for over dollarsWithin months the tv lost audio and video, I contacted vizio to find out the unit was outside the ninety day window So I took the tv into a repair facility and they took over a month to ind out that the problem was in the panel (the display)They had changed the Tcon and main mother boards without success, but now they know it's the main panelI can't purchase a panel, because they say they don't sell them, since the panel cost more then the value of the tv
So in over a month of fruitless effort I find that I get no support from the maker and no repair options from any repair facility! This doesn't seem fair or rightThis sissue is a known issue for vizio and they should support a product that they sold!
To be clear, I purchased the tv for over 1,dollars and it's turned into a paperweight in less then ten months, granted its refurbished but that doesn't mean that it should have no value in less then a year!
The customer service people gave me a run around when I first contacted them, toook over a week to find out that it only had a ninety day warranty, and then when I found out that the tv has a know issue that the company was iisuuing a recall for, they say it doesn't meet the criteria
I will never purchase another product from them and will make sure to get all friends and family to avoid them too!

TV failed within one year warranty issueStated replacement time was 5-business daysReplacement TV shipped on 9/As of 10/23, there is still no replacement TVI have been in contact with delivery agents since 10/Company will not escalate to resolve issue

Vizio TV's are junk and their customer service is the worst in the country
So I bought a $2,Vizio 70" E701i-ATV about years ago well it quit working, no pictureSo I called them to check on issue with the TV that I myself could look into being that I have a electronics degreeI was informed by customer service that my TV has been recalled for the same problem that I am havingHe asks me for my serial number, so I gave it to him, and he informs me that my TV is one that falls under the recallSo I am think well cool they will fix it for meNOPE!!! I was then asked how long I had the TV, so I told himThen I was told well the recall is over now so there is nothing they can do to help meWHAT!!!! You said it was recalled for a known bad chip setThen I was told since it didn't break during the recall I'm SOL
So Vizio will not tell people about recalls even if it is registered with them, like mine wasHe told me it was post on the webSo I asked where, he couldn't tell me cause of course it was not on their siteIt took me almost an hour to find a site that had a posting about this recall, and guess what it was a site that gets less than 100,hits a year world wide
So not only do they not stand behind their products, but when they know there is an issue with them they hide a recall on sites that no one ever goes to
When we buy a New $2,TV we expect to get 100,hours out of it, which is years if you never turn it offWhich is what Vizio says their TV will last
I will never buy another VIZIO product in my life timeThey are in the business of making junk, knowing they are selling junk that does not work, and not standing behind their junkThey are in the business of ripping people off of their hard earned money

We purchased a VIZIO 55" television from *** in 1/ Within a little over a year the TV went up VIZIO sent us a refurbished TV and as of 3/12/2018, this TV has went up also for the same problem We contacted VIZIO and they are claiming it is out of warranty My issue is not with a warranty but a defective product Within years, we have had two VIZIO televisions that have gone up for the same problem I consider this to be a defective product I have went through the chain of command with VIZIO via of email (which I can provide you with) with no resolve They are suggesting to provide us with another television for a discounted price This is not acceptable They will not provide me with information of a higher authority to speak with other then their Customer Escalation Group We have also been in touch with *** who is currently looking into replacing the television If they do, then I would request a refund from VIZIO

Vizio televisions No Video / No Picture / Black Screen
are the worst ever, as is their company's customer service, OR LACK THEREOF!
I had my television for a little over years All of the sudden No Video / No Picture / Black Screen
After their ridiculous
"reset power fix" failed, Vizio said there was nothing they could do, I was on my own,
it was out of warrantySomething should be done about Vizio selling faulty products
l can't believe I spent my money on this television for it to work for only years
I am extremely frustrated that Vizio is getting away with treating consumers
this way!!! NEVER EVER WILL I BUY A VIZIO PRODUCT AGAIN!!!

Vizio Series E55-ETV was purchased on June 28, with one year warrantyHad ongoing issues with TV connecting to internet, which we contacted Vizio Support about before our one year warranty expiredWhile the issue was rectified, the issue has returned continuouslyVizio did not solve the issue, but rather temporarily made the issue go awayNow that the one year has passed, with the issue still reoccurring, Vizio is claiming that the one year warranty has expired, even though they had never fixed the issue
