Vizio Reviews (1844)

I purchased a Vizio 1080p HDTV for my son January 16,On February 4th it went blackMy son called and said the HDMI ports went outI called Vizio and spoke to their manager, Beth She said because it was out of the one year warranty, they could not help me The TV is days out of warranty, and they will not honor it I felt this was an unfair decision on VizioI paid over $for that TV and in a little over a year it stops workingWe have Vizio TV's in the house and they are all over years oldI have the same TV hanging on my wall, which was bought one week earlier and it is working fine I expressed to Beth that my sons TV obviously was some sort of defect because mine is working fine
She still said that they could not help me but she could give me options Options do not fix TV'sOptions tell you, here is a shop you can bring it to for repairs, on your dime How dare Vizio does not stand by their productNineteen days out of warranty and they are refusing to repair the TV I am not looking for a replacement , just a repairAnd it is days not monthsBeth also told me, as the looked up the cost for repairing the TV, that it would cost Vizio $to repair the TVRidiculous, that is more that half of what I paid for the TVBut they still will not repair the TVIts all about the almighty dollar, not integrityI depended on Vizio to be an honest companyProduct made in the USA local business settled here in Irvine, CAMy confidence and trust has now turned to: this business is dishonest, produces an inferior product, and just does not care for their customersBeth was cordial, offered solutions but no helpShe is definitely a company personShe will back this company regardless of it's shady dealings
I am not asking for a replacement, just a repairBut the reply was still , sorry can not go past the one year warranty, even if it is by daysThis company needs to re evaluate their warranty if their product quits running after their one year warrantyCould that be intentional? Is the market flooded with too much competition that they make there product so poorly, speculating a consumer will go out and replace their TV with another Vizio? I would thing the oppositeIf I purchased and inferior product, which I did, I am not stupid enough to go out and repurchase the same productBut some people would to that, if the price is reasonableShame on Vizio for taking advantage of all of these peoplecomplaints on Vizio products, I wish I had checked them out before I spent my hard earned money on this TVI bought this TV as a gift for my son,who has PTSD My husband and I both work two jobs just to survive and support our two children This TV was something we could not afford but as parents, we will do anything to make our children happyBasically , I paid $for my son to watch this TV for one year I am very disappointed, (to express my emotions civilly,) with Vizio's decision not to repair the TVI will never purchase Vizio or recommend one be purchased I do not support crooked, dishonest businesses , regardless of their competitive pricing And neither should anyone else And shame on those employees who back Vizio's policy, how do they sleep at night knowing they did not help an honest consumer

In approximately late March, 2018, Vizio released a firmware update to my Smartcast television (Model # E60u-D3) which was downloaded and installed automatically, without my prior knowlege or consent, and did not have an opt-out option After installation of this update, the primary function of the television, known as Smartcast, stopped working Smartcast is a feature that allows Google Chromecast compatible applications to stream video directly to the television via WiFi networkIt should be noted that Smartcast requires an active internet connection to function, which means that a user cannot simply disconnect the television from the internet in order to prevent it from automatically downloading updatesUpon noticing that the TV was no longer working on Thursday, March 29, 2018, I began researching online for a solutionOn Sunday, April 1, I came across the official Vizio subreddit (https:/***), and added a comment on an existing post by another us

Vizio tv model E470i-A Tv purchased in LCD screen is no longer functional and needs to be replaced Vizio says they no longer have a replacement part What is customer to do? Left without direction

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear beloware not satisfied with this resolution
The representative did contact me and said there is nothing that can do to repair the television screen but the could offer me a pay inch TV for a charge of 700 dollarsFirst I should not have to pay in additional money for a defected productSecond I have a inch television so they are offering something subpar to what I have at a priceThird the representative I spoke with was very rude, stating, "He did not have to offer anything."

I bought a Vizio 60in TV and have had it for a little over two years The screen has gone black and now it only has audio It is a common problem with these TV's as I have found out on my internet research Vizio refuses to acknowledge this product as a recall and has told me to take it to a tv repair person I will never buy from this company again, and if you don't believe this post checkout their facebook with all the negative comments Their TV's are crap and they do not honor them at all

We bought our Vizio TV (Model NoE65-E1) on March 8, from Walmart in Janesville, WI Unfortunately for us, we did not get a warranty through WalmartFor about a month now, we have been in contact with Vizio's customer support because our tv started showing black, vertical lines that eventually turned white (with a few red, green, and yellow lines) and black circles at the bottom of our television screen, accompanied occasionally by the screen flickeringVizio claims this is due to physical damage, but there has been no physical damage to this TVVizio says our television isn't covered under a manufacturer's warranty due to thisHowever, these lines, as well as the circles, appeared while the television was on and being watched with no one/nothing near it(Please note the circles did not appear at the same time as the lines)They gave two or three suggestions of things we could try, which were appreciated, and then claimed it was just because we physically damaged the

I purchased a inch vizio smart TV from Sam's club in auburn hills, MI in December of Since purchasing I have had to call vizio on numerous occasions, due to the TV not turning on or having horizontal lines I was told that an on site swap could not occur due to me not having pictures of the lines, so they instead did an onsite repair The repair man came to my house on May 13th and replaced the two board inside the TV I was told that if the lines happened again to take a picture in order to do an on site swap Well, it happened again to a tv that is less than months old! So today, May 23,2016, I called to get an on site swap of a NEW TV and was told that can't happen because they need more information WHAT! I provided pictures like I was originally told and was still rudely told NO! Plus, they told me that I would be getting a reconditioned TV, not a new one if this on site swap were to happen after I provided more information, like if the menu button works when

Vizio company are knowledgeable that their t.v.'s have defaults and that they tell businesses to push extending warranties knowing that their product have defects and that the product will experience defects after one year of purchaseThey tell consumers that if you didn't buy the extended warranty there is nothing they can doThis company does not stand behind their products please do not buy vizio products

I purchased a (first) P55-Con 11/26/and the TV was defective (restarting bug) after 1/weeks of use I exchanged it for for the same model on 12/07/(second P55-C1) and in three weeks this tv was also defective and was unable to display a movie without freezing every hour At this time the return window has closed and I warranty the second P55-C Vizio sent me a replacement P55-C(Third P55-C1) that was delivered on 1/6/which came pre broken and had horrific black lines/spots throughout the entire screen
Vizio wants to send another P55-Cbut I won't accept a 4th TV of this model as it seems the ips panels are a problem with these TVsI wouldn't mind exchanging it for the P65-Cwhich uses a VA panel or a refund at this point

I own three Vizio television displays (Models M75-E1, M70-D3, and E65-E0)I use these devices with audio equipment (onkyo sr-353, onkyo sr-373, and sharp htsb603)Prior to a firmware update 4.0.23.2, which was automatically applied to my televisions by vizio on or around 03/23/2018, these devices all functioned properlyThis update supposedly provided "CEC Auto Naming", but all this update did was create intermitten issues with the CEC/ARC functionality in the televisionsNow, these devices no longer function correctly and the tv constantly needs to be restarted, unplugged and restarted, or reset to factory settings to get it to work temporarilyIf I turn off the displays, I must repeat these steps to get it to work for a temporary period of time, thereby causing undue frustration on my part
I have contacted vizio several times to get assistance with this issue and their troubleshooting issues are not a permanent solution as the issues returnThey simply advise me to wait for
