About seven months after we purchased a Vizio TV from *** ***, we began to see green patches on the left side of the screen We called Vizio on October 17th since we were still in warranty to report this issue We were told we would receive an onsite swap of with a recertified TV of the same brand within the next five days Five days came and went and no call We called back They stated they were using a delivery company named *** to have it delivered After contacting them, we received a tracking number from *** via email - they said it would be delivered on November 6th When November 6th came and went, we called them back They said they had sub-contracted the delivery to *** Delivery, and gave us the number to call them Mostly, we had professional style conversations with the folks at Vizio and ***, but when we called ***, what we received were poor phone manners, bad phone etiquette - they made it seem like they didn't care whether they delivered the me

I was at *** looking to buy a fan a worker seen me looking at a tv he told me he had a really good deal on a 50" Vizio tv p series regularly it wAs on clearance for plus tax I bought the tv because it was really nice and also lurch ached an extended warrantyThree days later the tv shut off so I called Vizio I told Vizio it smelt like something was burning inside of it they said they didn't make a p series no more that they would give me an m series they then sent it out and the delivery people somehow lost it so I had redid a claim they said they would give me a better one because of the situation it literally took over a month to a tv When I received the tv it was the cheapest model they have which was a d series I went from a p series to a d series the highest is a r series I have called several times they basically are not honoring my warranty and want to give me money back just because *** gave me a God deal on the tv it doesn't give them the rite to give m

A Vizio representative called me and told me that I had been informed about the length of the warranty and that I could an extended warrantyThe email they sent me informed me that the refurbished television had either a day warranty OR the remaining length of the warranty on the original television, whichever was longer and that I would have an opportunity to purchase any extended warranty prior to the expiration of the warrantyI received the original television as a gift, was not informed when that warranty expired, and was not provided an opportunity to purchase an extended warranty before the expirationThe ability to purchase a replacement television at a discount is not satisfactory to meGiven the fact that both the original television and the refurbished replacement developed the same problem within roughly six months of receiving them, I have no faith that Vizio's discounted replacement television wouldn't put me in the same place in six months minus whatever the reduced purchase price might beVizio is selling a product with an obvious defect in it and attempting to enrich themselves even further as a resultHad I been informed of my television's areas N.Ylength and given the option to purchase an extended warranty, I certainly would have done so after my experience with the original defective televisionVizio's vague and imprecise response regarding the remaining warranty for their refurbished unit is now being used as a tool to keep from having to repair their known defective product.

Purchased Vizio 70i Television January 30, This Television was recalled in 2012, but still sold to us The Chip Assembly in these Televisions caused pre-mature video to break This happened to us during the week of January 15th, We were not ever given information about the recall in 2012, even though we were sold this Television
We called Vizio to help resolve this situation on February 3, and February 4, to help us with this recall issue They declined helping us We were told that Vizio informed all purchasers that the television was recalled (which they did not) We were also told that the television was outside of the warranty
We feel that the recall suprecedes the warranty because this television should never have been sold to us in the first place The onus is on Vizio to stop selling televisions that were recalled years prior

is is an awful company to deal with.I purchased a tv from Costco for over $A few months after purchased I tried to hook up a DVD player to the television and had sound issues after calling Costco and being transferred to vizio to take care of the problem we went through trouble shooting the tv,once they determined there was a problem they set up a local company to come out and repair the tv,they told me the company would be contacting me within two weeks to fix it,after not hearing from anyone I called vizio back they told me that they would contact me back in 24-hours,days later (were over weeks into this now) they contacted me saying I had to box up the tv and send it to them and they would send me a refurbished tv to replace the brand new tv I paid for! I sent the tv to them and weeks later received the replacement, we opened the box to set up the tv for my children to find it was beyond poorly put togetherThere were screws where there shouldn't be any so I can't attach the stand to it,there were screws missing in places that is supposed to hold the tv together, the back of the tv is not attached to the inside so there are big gaps where the a.cports are and the tv,itself when standing leans so far forward you would have to lay on the floor to watch it.so I called them the first lady I,spoke to was awesome opened a new case and requested photos.so I took photos and sent them in days later still nothing so I called them, was told only one photo came through I would have to send more and was told if I don't hear from them in hours call back,I sent photos and called back hours later, when someone finally picked up I was immediately placed on hold, when he came back on I was told it was submitted to the warehouse to see if they would replace it! If! So I asked if there was a way to expedite this because my kids have been out a tv for so long he said there was no wayI asked to speak to someone else he said he could get a supervisory tell me the same thing he just told me I said I would like to speak to a supervisor and was placed on hold which I am still sitting on as I write thisCurrently on the phone for minutes and counting.I will never do business with this company again terrible customer service, terrible product, terrible business practice

I purchased a Vizio D39h-CO 04/20/The tv stopped operating properly within months of the purchaseThe company sent a repairman who repaired the tvThe tv is now operating improperly AGAINI contacted the company and they have offered to replace the tv with a refurbished oneI want my money refunded so that I may purchase a different brand of tvI am very unhappy with the quality of Vizio's product following this experienceCan you advise me of my rights and if it is possible for me to get a refund so that I do not have to use their product any longer?

I recieved a tv as a gift back months ago for christmas and it was a model I recieved and don't have the reciept to it since I didn't buy it and it is now six months later and they're informing me the tv was set up on 12/25/when I recieved 12/25/and considering that this is a model i'm pretty sure the date was still set for that year and I didn't realize it to later or that the item is refurbished on Christmas morning who really checks every little detail before setting up a gift you recieved to see how you like it and then go back to fix it later or my family could have purchased it refurbished and gave it to me on christmas but I noticed lines that appeared on my tv when I got home yesterday evening that were not there the morning before I emailed and live chatted with Vizio they kept telling me "We understand your frustration" and continued to do little to nothing to help resolve this, they then inform me to go to the store and request a receipt since i'm not the one who purchased it they would have no Idea what i'm talking about and since my family members no longer have the reciept considering it's been six months I doubt the store would even have it saved knowing it's a new year and all, so then I take it upon myself to do some further research and I noticed i'm not the only person who experienced this I have many screenshots showing people's complaints and there tv displaying similar lines to mine and Vizio informing them it's out of warranty and that it's physical damageTheir business score is very low on the Consumer Affair reports and on Amazon it shows a ton of people unhappy with their products and then when contacted they shift the blame of themselves and on to the consumer, these people did not recieve the help they should have been given and the discount they give you is the same amount as where you can buy it from k-mart or somewhere like that it isn't a discount they give you the price from another store and since of course it's higher to purchase it from them they want you to believe it is a discount I will not be happy until this issue is resolved and I did email them the screenshots of the people who had the same or similar problem and how this company blamed the customer and not themselves, if requested I will email the photo's to Revdex.com so they can see it for themselves and that i'm not the only one who experienced this horrendous service

Around Christmas of I purchased a VIZIO E65xCClass 1080p 120Hz FullArray LED Smart HDTVIn late it began getting darker on the top left corner, the problem continually got worse until it was getting hard to even see as the LEDs were going outIts now beyond usable and this is unacceptable to meI paid almost for a TV that lasts less than years? It's now out of warranty and I am stuck without a TV and do not have the funds to get a new one The internet is littered with stories like this and its quite shameful that Vizio makes throw away TV'sI would NEVER spend a dime on Vizio products ever again and will warn everyone I knowThings happen, I get that, but not standing by your product is unacceptable

Dear Revdex.com: VIZIO, Inc(“VIZIO”) is in receipt of the Revdex.com’s (“Revdex.com”) notice regarding complaint number ***As always, VIZIO takes any complaint reported to the Revdex.com very seriously. On January 20, 2015, a VIZIO customer service representative explained to the customer that the promotional code applied only to the purchase of a television and a soundbar which are purchased together in a single transaction, at full priceThe customer service representative further explained that the promotional code did not apply to products which were on saleAfter the promotional offer ended and in the interest of providing customer satisfaction, VIZIO offered to include the 5% promotional code to the customer’s order but the customer declined the offer because it did not include free shipping. At this time, VIZIO would like to take this opportunity to extend a final offer to the customer for a VIZIO television at a discounted priceThe offer includes the VIZIO television model number P552UI-Bat the discounted price of $which includes shipping costs, but which excludes taxesThe VIZIO television also includes a one year manufacturer warranty from the date the unit is receivedUnfortunately, VIZIO has been unable to reach the customer to extend to the customer this final offer At VIZIO, the quality of our products is very important to us We rely on and appreciate product feedback from our customers and encourage anyone who has questions or comments about our products to contact us at https://vizio.custhelp.com/ for information and assistance Sincerely, VIZIO, Inc

I have purchased Vizio TV's over the past number of years and have to say, I guess I'm one of the lucky ones after reading some of the reviews posted here This past weekend, I purchased the Vizio E55-E I was quite shocked when I went to set it up and realized, there is no port to connect this tv to an antenna? I gave up on the cable monopolies years ago Who has ever heard of a tv without a coax connection? There is every other connection in the world for this tv.....you can even download an app to your phone....but you can't connect it to an external antenna? So, I contacted their customer support and was advised it states on the box that this model is tuner free I went to look on the box....and in VERY FINE PRINT....it does state this model is tuner free The print is so small, you'd have to have glasses to see it and does the average person know what tuner free means? He goes on to tell me that I can purchase a separate external digital converter? Are you kidding me? I need to buy something else so that I can hook up an antenna? Oh yeah....and he went on to say that their models have the coax connection built in to the tv Obviously, this tells me that I purchased a model and so many people have complained about it already, that they put the coax connection back on.....but for those of us with the model, we're screwed......well.....not so fast Vizio! I just got the tv this past weekend, it's going back for a full refund and as I told the customer service department.....I will make sure I post this experience everywhere I can find for everyone to see! Take your business elsewhere!

I bought a Vizio 1080p 50" led smart tv, within a year, and for no reason, it turns off, then won't turn back onI spent a decent amount of money on it, and didn't even get a year out of itCould not get a hold of costumer service, even though several attempts were made, then when I did get someone, they told me I was past my warranty!! And told me I had purchased the TV years ago according to them!? Hadn't even been a full yearI don't know what happened, but I will never buy Vizio again, biggest waste of time and money everAlso, I will not pay dollars to replace faulty parts that wouldnt work for more then a yearI've also read that others have tried to replace parts to no availI refuse to spend money on a "hope this works"This company needs to go down, hundreds upon hundreds of terrible reviews and similar to exact complaints as mineHow are they allowed to do this?
I hope they tank when everyone realizes how terrible this company really is

My experience with Vizio has indicated a poor quality product and terrible customer service (seemingly poorly trained, rude, and unwilling to resolve the issue)The offer to give me a refurbished television is not acceptable. I have no idea the quality of this tv. I choose to purchase new electronics so that I know the history of the product. And, based upon my experience dealing with rude and unhelpful Vizio representatives, I have no desire to deal with Vizio any longer. Someone can come pick up the television and give me a full refund. This is the only option that I deem acceptable. Dealing with Vizio has added much unnecessary stress to my life. After paying a chunk of change for an inferior product, I was ignored and treated in a disrespectful manner. Based upon this experience, I don't have any faith in this company to make this right. I've spent a YEAR of my life dealing with this. I'm done.
It's a great shame that i've only received this offer AFTER having gone through the Revdex.com. Vizio should be ashamed at the way they treat customers - i've put much time into attempting to resolve this and only have frustration to show for my efforts. Let's sever our ties. Give me my money, i'll give you your TV - DONE
