For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Problem: I filed a previous claim Claim ID #***I was contact by a representative of Vizio to attempt to resolve the issueHe offered a complimentary repair of both of the televisions in my previous complaintWe accepted his terms with the condition that if the repair was not successful that we would discuss other options for resolutionAn attempt to repair was made for one of the tv's thus far, and I am sad to say that it was unsuccessfulI explained the problem regarding the televisions white screen issue and that the television turned on by itself when plugged inVizio sent parts to a local tv repair company for replacement both parts sent did not repair the problemVizio's response to this was to attempt to sell us a reduced priced tv at a cost of $plus taxThe tv offered is currently being sold retail for $After explaining that this was not an option for us and that I felt that our $500+ television should last more than year months his response was the discounted television was there only offer otherwise the case was considered resolvedWell a reasonable attempt to repair the television was NOT madeThey sent parts for a problem that had not even been diagnosed to give the best chance for a repairAlso during our first contact with Vizio prior to our original complaint the cost of the part they were going to send us to presumably repair the problem was quoted at $If they were willing to absorb the cost of the part as a resolution to the complaint why are they not willing to absorb the cost of the $televisionDesired Outcome: At this time I am requesting a complete replacement of the first television that was not repaired during their futile attempt to do soOR actually repair the televisionReplace the actual part or parts that have failed and provide us with a working televisionThank You

My vizio TV has a black screen and my warranty expired in march I would like vizio to pay for either repairing my TV or replace itI have read reports that vizio has known of this issue and has done nothing to fix it

My wife and I just purchased a house and closed on it Monday, April 30, Since we were moving we knew we would need to purchase a new tv for the living roomSo, since we knew we would have other contractual agreements (painters, movers, subcontractors, etc) that needed our attention we decided to purchase the tv directly from VizioVizio had a sale that was ending and they had recently emailed me a 5% off coupon code so I felt this would be my best purchase for the priceHowever, this has been one of the worst customer service experiences that I have ever had and hate this because I have been a vizio customer for a long time, all of our tv’s are vizio products
After purchasing the tv I was informed via email that the delivery of the tv would be after our move out date from our apartmentSo I notified Vizio and was advised that the rep could not change the shipping addressHowever, she advised that vizio uses a third party shipping company and I could call them to reques

I already paid full price for a New TV about a year and half ago, and shouldn't be expected to pay the $for repair as wellI think the Manufacturer should be held liable for this type of power issue that the TV encountered, obviously I am not the only one that had this problem as read in thousands of reviewsI expected my TV to last for more than yrs and would have not mind paying for a repair cost thenWaive this labor costs and I will accept

Vizio has failed to cooperate with me as a consumer, after the fact I purchased a "brand new" surround sound systemI was told the warranty will not be honored and not even able to complete an even exchange despite the fact that I registered the product online with a unique and specific serial number

I purchased a TV with a faulty remote, a remote that they were replacing for free at one time I guess I missed the message that popped up on the TV giving me the number to call to have a new one sent to meumm because I don't use that TV because the remote doesn't work!! Sorry Vizio that I missed your message!! Rather than the company replacing it for free they directed me to their website to purchase the product for 9.99, a discounted price since they knew the remotes did not work Its not the money it is the principle I hope they realize I nor anyone I know will ever buy a Vizio producthope that $was worth them loosing many return or future customers Stick to Sony or Samsung Y'all ...just stay clear of this company! #VIZIOFAIL

Do not buy a Vizio smart 4k tv!!! They are junk and customer service is a joke! I have had my inch 4k tv that we paid for, for year months and now cannot turn the auto brightness off or on high cause my tv will shut off and have a very nice black shadow horizontally across my screenThis is not a one off issue just visit their Facebook page and see the complaintsThere should be a factory recall on their tv'sI personally will never buy another Vizio product, I have been buying their products for years #neveragain!!!!!!!!

I have had a Vizio MTV for year and months In the last month of so the left upper quadrant of the screen has become noticeably darker, Contacting Vizio they have let me know the problem is a quite expensive one to fix and that it is not economically feasible to do so They recommended I buy a new TV This is an unacceptable response as I bought the TV with the understanding it would last more then a couple years

I purchased a Vizio 1080p HDTV for my son January 16,On February 4th it went blackMy son called and said the HDMI ports went outI called Vizio and spoke to their manager, Beth She said because it was out of the one year warranty, they could not help me The TV is days out of warranty, and they will not honor it I felt this was an unfair decision on VizioI paid over $for that TV and in a little over a year it stops workingWe have Vizio TV's in the house and they are all over years oldI have the same TV hanging on my wall, which was bought one week earlier and it is working fine I expressed to Beth that my sons TV obviously was some sort of defect because mine is working fine
She still said that they could not help me but she could give me options Options do not fix TV'sOptions tell you, here is a shop you can bring it to for repairs, on your dime How dare Vizio does not stand by their productNineteen days out of warranty and they are refusing to repair the TV I am not looking for a replacement , just a repairAnd it is days not monthsBeth also told me, as the looked up the cost for repairing the TV, that it would cost Vizio $to repair the TVRidiculous, that is more that half of what I paid for the TVBut they still will not repair the TVIts all about the almighty dollar,not integrityI depended on Vizio to be an honest companyProduct made in the USA local business settled here in Irvine, CAMy confidence and trust has now turned to: this business is dishonest, produces an inferior product, and just does not care for their customersBeth was cordial, offered solutions but no helpShe is definitely a company personShe will back this company regardless of it's shady dealings
I am not asking for a replacement, just a repairBut the reply was still , sorry can not go past the one year warranty, even if it is by daysThis company needs to re evaluate their warranty if their product quits running after their one year warrantyCould that be intentional? I was talking to a lady about getting my TV work done and I was upset and told her when the service tech comes he could just take the TV with him out of frustrationThen she called me honey and when I asked to talk to a supervisor because I found that offensive and harassment she said you're going to escalate this over a pet name thenAfter several minutes I got to talk to *** *** which he said he was the supervisor and that he would look into it but didn't really take it serious to me I feel like I was offended and that is a type of sexual harassment

I have purchase a Vizio sound bar order number ***When I receive it from UPS the package was damageI went home to try it and it didnt workSo I contact customer service which was rudeI was told I can't return the item or get a refundI mailed it back to them and they receive it Jan and I still didnt get my refund back yet

I bought a Vizio *** Soundbar with Google cast, to be able to cast music from my google home device to the soundbar, when I set it up I found out it did not have the correct Cast driver Version, I called called customer service and they told me it was rolling out and to just wait for itIt has now been 4+ months and still no update to the correct driverI called customer service again today 02/16/and was told they don't know and have no way of finding out If I would have known that no one knew when I first called I would have took the device back bought a different one Now I cant and am stuck with this soundbar with no idea if it will ever do what I was told it could

Purchased Vizio television from ***(St Pete,FL) Feb 2015, television went out Aug Called for repair, Vizio sent repair person out which took wks and after repair work done, tv worked for day Vizio then told me they would send new television2nd set sent to my home took over days with me constantly calling all the time complainingFinally after delivery of the new set it worked for approx a little over a month and went out Vizio then sent another set to my home and upon delivery the set did not come on after being plugged in by delivery menSet was taken back and 1/2---wks later another set was sent out This time unit worked for mths and again has gone outOn Jan 20th another unit was delivered and upon the delivery men plugging unit in it did not come onAgain the unit was taken back I have again today Feb 11,been delivered a unit that upon being delivered and plugged in by delivery men showed nothing but vertical lines All these events
