I purchased a TV from Vizio directly and it arrived damaged Vizio has requested that I return the set to them and would have UPS (the original shipper) pick it up They told me UPS would make three attempts at pick up beginning Monday October 9th but UPS turned up on the evening of Oct6thshortly after I had received the call from Vizio The TV wasn’t reboxed yet (no time) and UPS couldn’t wait but told me another driver would come as from Monday to pick it up I volunteer and am not home all of the time and both UPS and Vizio told me to place the box outside for pick up Since then I have been hauling this large box (with large signs that say “For pick up by UPS”) in and out and nobody has come to pick it up I have called and emailed Vizio and they say just to continue doing this but they will not reimburse me the purchase amount until they receive the TV back They do not seem to be making any attempt to get UPS to return to collect the TV and I have to move this large

I HAD BOUGHT A T.V IN JULY OF AND WITHIN THE FIRST MONTH THE T.V HAD BACKLIGHT ISUESTHEY CAME PUT AND REPLACED IT WITH A "REFURBISHED" T.V WICH ALREADY MADE ME UPSET AND THEN WITH IN SIX MONTHS THAT ONE BROKE WITH THE SAME ISSUESI HAD IT REPLACED AGAIN AS I WAS TOLD I COULD NOT GET MY MONEY BACK UNTIL IT WAS REPLACED TIMESNOW HERE I AM NOT EVEN A YEAR LATER WITHTHE SAME ISSUE.I CALLED VIZIO AND THEY HAD NO RECORD OF REPLACING MY TV THE LAST TWO TIMES AND STATED I WAS OUT OF WARRINTY SO OH WELLI ASKED FOR A MANAGER AND WAS DENIED THAT,I ASKED HER TO TELL ME WHEN IT WAS REPLACE THE FIRST TIME AND ALL SHE KEPT DOING WAS PUTTING ME ON HOLD.MORALE OF THE STORY IS THEY DID NOT HELP ME AND MADE NO EFFORT TO HELP ME.NOW I AM DEALING WITH THE WARRANTY FROM THNE STORE I HAD BOUGHT IT FROM AND ITS A BIGGER PROBLEM THAN VIZIO.I SENT IT OUT TO GET FIXED AND IT CAME BACK BROKEN AND THEY ARE OFFERING ME REPLACEMENT T.VS AT HALF THE PRICE MINE WAS.NO WAY!!VIZIO HAS LOST A CUSTOMER IN ME AND I WILL BE TELLING EVERYONE HOW BAD THEY ARE

I got a new television from this company and within weeks the TV would just shut offI watch a lot of recorded TV and I would watch one show erase it and click on a new one to watchThe TV then just shuts off Or I would be watching a show and fast forward through the commercials and when I went to watch the show after the fast forward the TV will shut off I can hit the button to turn it on and the light will come on and then shut offSometimes the light will come on and the main screen will come up and then shut offI contacted their online support but they want to charge me to get help to try to fix the tvDoesn't seem fair to have to pay to have them fix their product when it is only weeks oldI have it connected to a brand new surge protector and the TV is the only thing plugged into itI am not sure I want the same television again but will give it a shotI just want a replacementI don't feel that I should have to pay anything for thatTheir online customer suppo

days without a TV and manager tells me I'm just unlucky the other tells me they're going to send another tech to fix a DEMO replacement TV, just be patientAfter spending over $1,for a new TV I have a DEMO broken TVJust on their website there are a number of complaints with the same issue that I amI have requested a different model replacement and they have refused, seems like they want to put a band aide on it until the warranty expires

TV faulty and not working since purchased ...contact Vizio keep getting the run around
after days of getting the run around from Vizio and walmart ...I am frustrated and mad that this company is getting rich
off of feeling faulty products to hard working people and never refund or replace there product !

I bought a Vizio 60inch Smart Television E601i-Athat has been having pixels all in the middle of the Television messing up the quality of the brand name VizioI'm asking for a brand new Vizio 60inch Smart Television not a refurbished one since this is still under warrantyPlease have a repairman come pick up the defective Television and send me out a new oneI have never had problems with Vizio products until this defective product

I purchased a inch Smart TV from Walmart in KYThis unit had been used as a display unitThe picture went out on the unit the other day and after contacting Vizio customer service they told me the unit was no longer under warrantyMy warranty period began the day I purchased the TV, not WalmartI completed the product registration with in days of the purchase, did everything I was suppose to do , yet the best Vizio would do was offer to sell me another (of their great products) at a discountI am also disappointed that after searching for information about this same issue, Vizio had even gone so far as to acknowledge the problem and had replaced tvs (with refurbished ones)I am the exception not the rule in this case because even though the tv is 1/years old I have not owned it more than the years the warranty coversMy recommendation is DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON VIZIO!!

The business has claimed they "contacted this customer and has handled this complaint under the terms of VIZIO’s warranty". In fact they have promised to reimburse me for a TV I had to purchase on my ownInitially, Vizio sent a repair company (HD Repair) to fix a covered TV, and that company caused damage, then HD Repair's representatives lied about it and would not accept responsibilityFurthermore, Vizio's representatives accused me of misrepresenting facts, and the only reason they later believed my side of the story, was because I provided proof that the company at fault (HD Repair), was in fact not being truthful.Vizio has also stated "Accordingly, VIZIO considers this matter closed.", when to date, I have only received a check in the amount of half the amount owed to me for the new TV I purchased, which was paid by HD RepairVizio's representatives have claimed that it takes them two weeks to process a check, so I am still waiting on the half they have promised

Because it wasn't a problem they had encountered, they said there was nothing they could do except give me a number to tryThe number was an instant generic voicemail that never called me back
The TV does not connect to the internetThe button on the back of the TV only works to turn the TV offThe remote ONLY works to turn the TV onOnce the TV is on, no other buttons workI can't access the menu, the settings, nor turn off the tvThe TV has to be turned off from the button on the back or unplugged

I am writing to let the consumers know about how terrible the VIzio product is I purchased inch HDTV years ago months later the picture became very pixelated and unwatchable I contacted the corporate office and they sent me a refurbished TV to replace the broken TV that I purchased months earlier I came home today months later and turned on the replacement they sent me to colorful lines running vertically down the right side of the TV screen along with black lines running horizontally across the middle of the screen Also, the bottom left side of the screen is pixelated I called to ask if they are going to replace the piece of *** they sent me and since I am out of warranty, they said that they can give me a discount to another piece of *** I will never buy another Vizio and I will certainly tell everyone to stay away from this product I would gladly send pictures of the screen if anyone was interested before I throw it away Please don't waste your money buying Vizio and spend a couple extra bucks to buy a more reputable product that lasts longer than year

I purchased a 65" Vizio 4K TV last year Nov 27,
I never watch the TV because it is in a guest bedroom I recently noticed that the TV randomly cuts off and goes to the Vizio Logo I am sure this TV has been defective from day one but I just never noticed it because I rarely use it I called Vizio and they said the TV was out of warranty This is obviously a manufactures defect and they should stand by their product
The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act is the federal law that governs consumer product warrantiesPassed by Congress in states that if a product has a manufactures defect the consumer must be made whole even if outside the stated warranty period
I have connected my TV to the internet and Vizio has sent me two firmware updates This has not resolved the problem There is a faulty power board on the TV that was installed during manufacturing
I have contacted Vizio customer support several times and the issue still has not been resolved My Vizio case

I too purchased a very expensive inch TV from Visio I had the TV for about mos when I had to have it replaced because a black spot showed up (also common issue) Now I have the issue with the line going across the screen and when you call they are so rude! But I have read the complaints on this site as well as others and this issues is so common that the company should really do something These TV are poor quality I have learned my lesson and SAMSUNG will continue to get my business I take every opportunity to this I make sure I share this experience and refer them to read the reviews
