Vizio Reviews (1844)

We purchased a Vizio E60li-A TV on November 22, The tv had a problem and the company was replacing them because the video was going out on them, a known defect in the television We called during the warranty period of one year to see about ours being replaced and to report problems with our tv set We were told the company would extend the warranty another year Our tv went out about a month ago and feel as though they should repair it free because of the known defect, and the fact we called them during warranty to try to get a replacement as other buyers were doing Customer service said all they could do was offer a small discount on another tv For Vizeo to know they had a problem with these sets and to not replace our tv was not good business practice Other customers got new sets because of the defect, but we were not able to because ours happened outside of warranty The fact remains our tv should have been repaired or replaced when we called during warranty I do not recommend Vizeo because they do not treat their customers fairly

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I can't afford another inch vizio tv and the cost of the replacement tv is basically the same as just buying one at the store and refusing to do monthly payments cause not everyone has 1000s of dollars to be buying a new tv and forking out that cash all at onceHowever Vizio doesn't care about their customers satisfaction and have lost another customer due to lack of customer serviceNow I know why Aarons stopped carrying Vizio products cause Aarons is protecting their customers from wasting 1000s on defective tvs and products made by vizioVizio doesn't stand behind their products and are only worried about lining their pocketsI'm wanting a check or a replacement tv for freeUntil then I will continue to write to Revdex.com cause I'm not satisfied with the resolution.

E701i-Aand E701i-A3E LED/LCD panel failures If you are fortunate to have the defective panel on your 70" TV fail within the year extended warranty period you are in Luck VIZIO will replace the entire TV free of charge, but don't expect that to happen if you are even the slightest out of the warranty VIZIO will however, offer the two following TV’s at a reduced price as a replacement You will be able to purchase the replacement for approximately what you originally paid for your original TV just a couple years earlier The E70u-Dwhich normally sells for $1,can be purchased for $1,or the D70u-Dwhich sells for $1,can be purchased for $ Both replacements fail to offer tuners as the recalled units The LED/LCD panel is the main part of the TV, much like the engine in a carWhen it fails it seldom pays to repair it, that's why they replace it in warranty When I originally purchased the TV it never crossed my mind it would not last longer than two years Who wants to pay $1,every year for a new TV?
VIZIO built these TV’s, then discovered the panel used to build them was defective but only extended the warranty year Why should it matter if they fail in or out of warranty? They were still built with a defective panel VIZIO knows after discovering the defective panels that they will eventually fail Why did VIZIO fail to notify their registered customer base of the defective panels so they could do something about it while they were still in warranty? Is this really how VIZIO should conduct everyday business? How is this, building innovations that last?, as they state on their website and ads? How is VIZIO building products with their customers in mind? When they knowing fail to honor a TV built with a defective part
I wrote an e-mail to VIZIO customer support and a registered letter to the CFO of VIZIO on my experience with their TV I never received so much as an e-mail, apology or even an acknowledgment of the failure I did buy a new TV but I am sorry to say it was not a VIZIO I just can’t purchase a product knowing the company that manufactured it fails to stand behind it

The response given by Vizio is not accurateThe attached warranty (attached to your email to me) is titled TV Warranty The product which failed is a sound barThe product was purchased in CaliforniaGuam is not outside the United States It is a United States territoryNowhere in the warranty policy does it state that the warranty is invalidated by taking the product 'outside the United States.'Failure to honor the warranty is a violation of the Magnuson-Moss federal warranty act

The most recent message from VIZIO is materially untrue. The television in question is NOT out of warranty by nearly and 1/years. The television was purchased in December 2016, which meant that the warranty expired in December 2017. This was also a refurbished or recertified television which was to be covered by the remainder of the original warranty which would have expired in December (less than months ago, not and 1/years ago). The most recent conversation I had with the VIZIO representative resulted in being told that the language:"The replacement TV comes with either a day warranty or the remaining balance of the manufacturer’s warranty, whichever is longer. You are eligible to purchase an extended warranty for this replacement TV before that warranty expires."imposed an affirmative duty upon me to contact VIZIO to check into purchasing an extended warranty, which they no longer offer. I was never informed of a website page where I could go to purchase an extended warranty. I was never provided with a phone number I could call to check into purchasing an extended warranty. I was never informed of any way I could go about purchasing an extended warranty. I was never informed the length of the remaining warranty or whether the day warranty on the replacement TV was going to be the effective warranty. This made it impossible for me to determine by what date I would apparently need to contact VIZIO, despite never being told that I now had an affirmative duty to contact VIZIO, to purchase such an extended warranty. Moreover, VIZIO now no longer offers an extended warranty. VIZIO's proposed resolution of purchasing a new VIZIO television at some sort of unspecified discount is unacceptable to me for a number of reasons. First, I was never informed how I could purchase an extended warranty, despite that offer being made explicit when the original television was replaced by their refurbished appliance. Second, I have now had a total of two VIZIO televisions (the defective original and its defective replacement) which have both manifested their defect within approximately six months of use. I, and any rational consumer would agree, refuse to throw additional money at a proven defective product from a company which has decided to rely on the vagueness of its customer service responses to avoid repairing or replacing their defective product. Three, it appears that VIZIO has recently recognized that their appliances have a durability problem and are no longer offering extended warranties where they agree to replace or repair their products beyond one year

I paid cents for a Vizio tv that simply stopped workingI contacted them, they asked for the receipt, I eventually found it and they told me it was a few weeks out of warrantyThey then tried to sell me another unit at a discounted priceNeedless to say this was a tremendous amount of money to pay for something that just stops working and my current financial situation disallows me from making a purchase of any typeUpon investigation online, I found that I am far from the only person this has happened toI feel that the television itself is defective as I have found many others who's sets have also just stopped working weeks outside of their warranty due to a manufacturing issueMy set itself looks as new as it did the day I brought it home, mounted on the wall and literally never touchedI feel robbed or cheated that something I paid so much money for would suddenly just stop working without provocationVizio informed me that the store I purchased the set at only cam

I recieved my tv months ago it's a E24-CVizio it's a 24in tv and I recieved it as a gift for christmas and I don't have a the reciept and I set it up 12/25/and they are informing me I'm incorrect and set it up 12/25/which they are telling me they have in their system and are not trying to give me warranty to have my unit replaced, so if it's showing that date in their system it can either be one out of the twoThe year was more than likely still set in and when I set it up I didn't realize that and corrected it later which seems more likely considering it christmas morning and you're spending time with family instead of paying attention to every little detail because you want to go back to enjoying the time you have off to get to know how their life is going and what's next in their life you don't want to just use a new gadget or device instead of cherishing family time that comes only twice throughout the year which is what makes it worth it, and the second o
