Vizio once again has sent me one of their form letters!
Yes one of your reps has contacted me but nothing as of yet has been resolved
I have Fedexed your defective sound bar back to you. Your shipping department failed to send me a postage paid label as you promised so I ended up paying the $12.50 return postage myself. Your rep Rob (who has been helpful) said 
I would be reimbursed.
As I said before Vizio I will drop the case when I receive a refund so please stop responding to this case with your meaningless form letters.

The tv was delivered and set up. The picture does not have the sharpness or clarity as the previous one. despite the installers trying to clear it up. Also the picture chops off the top of their heads. Also the horizon is off making the side look awkward or abnormal. I was told by the Vizio representative that this is NOT a new tv but one that may have been in the warehouse a while OR may have been returned (for what????) and they checked it over to make it like new. (again????) The representative from Vizio said to call her if there were problems, but no new tv or refund. Rather than go thru another 2 weeks with no tv and no compensation for the inconvenience of another "recertified tv that is just like new", If I call Comcast to see what they can do, that is $40 out of my pocket. No, I am not pleased or satisfied at all!!!! regards,

[I think it is a shame that a company as big as Vizio will not stand behind their product.  They offered to sell me a "refurbished" model at a discounted price.  The only way I would take a TV like this is if it was given to me.  Why would I spend more money on a product when the brand new one that I spent $950 on didn't last a year and a half.  It never occurred to me that my TV would be disposable.  I will NEVER by a Vizio product.  Neither will my family or my friends. If I see someone looking at TV's at a store, I will stop them from buying a Vizio.  It is a luxury to be able to by a 55 in. TV so it will be a long time before I can get another one.  I realize that you think one persons views cannot do anything to harm a company like this and that may be true, but from what I can see online, I am far from the only one. ]

1- They Never Fixed it 
2- It infrequently came and gone, but now it has stayed for good and the TV is not usable.

They did offer to come out and fix the problem. The gentleman that they sent out was not a TV repair man and told me several times that he was not. He only worked on computers. After he replaced 2 parts he left. The TV still did not work, I called him and he said again he 
was not a TV repair man and had no idea what was wrong. After talking with Vizio they said they could not send out another repair man and that I would need to purchase a new TV. They did offer 3 different TVs at a small discount. To me who paid $1000 for a TV a year ago
I found this to be unacceptable. They should either repair or replace the item.

My new Vizio TV had three major issues within six months of purchase which clearly means there is a problem with Vizio TVs.    I will never buy another Vizio TV and will tell all my friends on social media to do the same.  My Vizio warranty did not state that my expensive TV would be replaced with a used demo TV that had been "recertified".   There is no telling how many months my used TV was playing 12 hours per day at the retail store before it was boxed up and sent to me.    In addition, my replacement TV only has a 90 day warranty.   The replacement TV should have a full one year warranty as well.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The business has claimed they "contacted this customer and has handled this complaint under the terms of VIZIO’s warranty".  In fact they have promised to reimburse me for a TV I had to purchase on my own. Initially, Vizio sent a repair company (HD Repair) to fix a covered TV, and that company caused damage, then HD Repair's representatives lied about it and would not accept responsibility. Furthermore, Vizio's representatives accused me of misrepresenting facts, and the only reason they later believed my side of the story, was because I provided proof that the company at fault (HD Repair), was in fact not being truthful.
Vizio has also stated "Accordingly, VIZIO considers this matter closed.", when to date, I have only received a check in the amount of half the amount owed to me for the new TV I purchased, which was paid by HD Repair. Vizio's representatives have claimed that it takes them two weeks to process a check, so I am still waiting on the half they have promised.

new products sold through authorized distribution and retail channels.  Upon review of the product at issue in this complaint VIZIO has determined that this product was purchased at a Walmart and later returned to Walmart.  VIZIO requires a copy of the customers receipt or proof of purchase to show that the product was purchased through an authorized reseller as a new unit and not a refurbished unit.  Refurbished VIZIO products sold through retail channels are not covered under VIZIO’s warranty.  These products are sold “as is” by the retailer.  A copy
of VIZIO’s warranty can be viewed online at http://www.vizio.com/warranty. If the customer was unaware that they purchased the product “as is” then VIZIO recommends that the customer reach out to that retailer directly.
