I am completely unsatisfied with this "resolution". I was offered a new TV at a price of $450. At that price, I'm sure Vizio would be making yet more money off of me. I already paid for a new TV 3 months ago. If I were going to sink any more money in to a TV it would not be another Vizio. They claim it was not a manufacturing defect, but I certainly did nothing that would have caused any damage on even a fairly well made TV. And the wording in their warranty insures that once the TV is in the box, they are no longer responsible for it. It's just another case of a huge company not standing behind their product because they don't have to. Doesn't matter what is right or not. They know that there is really nothing I can do about it, so doesn't matter to them. But they definitely lost me as a customer. And I will spread the word to anyone I know looking at getting a new TV. Probably won't make even the tiniest of difference in their business, butit's all I can do. Simply put - not a reputable company.

Vizo refuses to fix the broken TV they delievered me, under warranty. They have offered to sell me a more exspensive TV.  Not only have I been taken advantage of but the manager who represents VIZO is exstreamly rude and unprofessional.
I am pursuing the company to find out how to file a formal complaint against the manager I spoke to [redacted]. I have requested this information but I have received no response as of March 1st. I have sent in two more request.
Since, VIZO has no integrity for their products, I will replace my electronics thru another company who is in good standing with the Revdex.com.
I am not able to attach the receipt since it has faded.  Vizo does have my year warranty informaion on file and all else pertaining to the purchase and warranty.  From my understanding the Revdex.com will be closing my complait listed as unresolved.

I agree with the replacement of the TV but I feel that they should also pay a fee for the time that I have been without the television. I am on a pay service for my television so I have had to pay for a service that I am not receiving without a TV. I feel that they should have to pay for that service seeing that it is coming out of my pocket even though I am unable to use the service without the Television. I pay 50$ a month to have cable brought into my apartment so  I feel that they should have to pay the 50$ charge that I am paying but unable to use without a TV.Thank you,[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I spoke to man I think his name was [redacted] last Thursday27th. He was nice and we agreed, they would at least replace the bad part. He stated he would call me back. I did receive a call from the team lead [redacted] is rude and talked mostly about a car beingwrecked and having a flat tire. As I stated twice, what does that have to do with the issue at hand? Towards the end of our conversation I re-inerated what I understood the out come would be. That is, they will not honor the fact the they delivered me a used TV with two holes in that also had the [redacted]e issue the first TV had.  They would not at least replace the part that makes the TV black out. They will sell me another TV for 800.00 dollars.  During our converstaion [redacted] continued to be rude and insisted on telling me again and again about a car wreck and replacing that tire? He was angry that I did not want to hear the story that did not pertain to my issue, then hung up on me.
Another words, Vizo called me to tell me again, too bad they delieverd me a used faulty TV. They would be happy to sell me a part to repair my TV at a discounted rate. Funny, if nothing was wrong with the TV why are you trying to sell me parts and/or another TV at a discounted rate?
Regards,
[redacted]

I have been trying to get my tv that is less than a year old repaired since October 25th. I set up one date to have my tv repaired (Nov. 2nd) and the repair man never showed up. I called the repair center to tell them that I was unhappy because their service man stood me up and I was then told the customer service manager would call me. After never getting a call from that manager. I made several calls to the repair center and Vizio's customer service number, I was then Referred to a Executive Resolutions Manger. On Nov. 12th I received a call from some one from the Executive Resolutions Center she asked me if I had gotten the call from the service center and that she was contacted and that I would receive service on Nov. 14th. According to her conversation with them, I should wait for their call as to the time but Nov. 14th was the date she was told my service Would happen. After receiving a call from the repair center (which I missed) I was left a message telling me I would have to wait 2 to 3 business days and at that time they would determine when my service time and date would be set up and also what parts would need to be ordered?? So needless to say I was very upset! So I again call Vizio to tell the person ([redacted]) at the Executive Resolutions Center. she made a call to check on the Nov 14th service call. She called me back shortly after and she told me I would then have to wait the 2 to 3 business day as per the phone message. I told her that was unacceptable that I believe I had been more than patient and understanding she informed that I would have to wait for the repair to happen on my tv. I asked to speak to someone in charge above her and she said I could talk to someone else but the answer would be the same. I informed her that I understood that because Vizio was using a third party to perform service on their products, they virtually had NO control over whether I ever had my TV repaired. But, I feel that wasn't fair to keep me hanging as I had bought this TV in good faith, and couldn't afford to buy a new TV every year. She continued to tell me I would have to wait until the repair people called. Still I haven't received a call, message or missed call to show they had at least made an attempt to reach me to resolve this issue. It's now 26 Days since I first called with my tv issue.

Revdex.com,
Vizio has resolved the situation and is sending me a new TV free of charge. Thank you for filing my complaint! It was a tremendous help to me and my family!

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The tv was purchased new around Christmas 2013, it was supposed to be a high end tv yet in January 2015 it failed, frustrated with VIZIO's response at the time I took it down and boxed it up hoping to have it fixed although VIZIO customer service when I called yet they told me it was out of warranty and there was nothing they could do. Fast forwarding to present, I was cleaning my garage out and the tv being in my garage brought back old angry memories so I went online and found out the issues are known far and wide by VIZIO for this particular tv model and an extended 1 year warranty was given out which I knew nothing about because I was never notified of that resolution. I purchased the tv new at [redacted], I have looked high and low for my receipt but cannot find it, as I recall it may have been provided back to VIZIO during the first go around or left on a scanner by accident when it was scanned to send the receipt on. The fact remains no product is worth $3000 for only 13 months of use only to fail and be told I am on my own while others with the exact same problem had theirs repaired under full warranty. I turn it on, the back light and sound are there but no picture, I have gone through hours of extensive troubleshooting to no avail, it is time for VIZIO to make this right for me as a consumer of their product as well being that it is a well know issue for this particular model, I will accept a repair or a replacement but I am not going to throw away a $3000 tv even though I believe that is what is expected by VIZIO for this matter. IT would be like buying a new car, driving it 1000 miles and junking it, it is a totally unreasonable solution! The tv has been sitting in its original box since January 2015 with no resolution.

Dear Revdex.com Representative:VIZIO, Inc. (“VIZIO”) is in receipt of the Revdex.com’s(“Revdex.com”) notice regarding complaint number [redacted]. As always, VIZIO takes any complaint reported to the Revdex.com very seriously.VIZIO has been unable to reach the customer...

regarding this matter.  VIZIO is requesting that the Revdex.com contact the customer and ask them to contact VIZIO back. Please be advised that VIZIO has previouslydetermined that the VIZIO television in question suffered a non-manufacturing defect. In the interest of providing customer satisfaction VIZIO has offered the customer a replacement VIZIO television at a discounted price.  This is the only offer VIZIO is able to make at this time.Again, VIZIO cannot further comment on this complaint without speaking to the customer.  At VIZIO, the quality of our products is very important to us.  We rely on and appreciate product feedback from our customers and encourage anyone who has questions about or problems with ourproducts to contact us at https://vizio.custhelp.com/ for information andassistance.   Sincerely,VIZIO, Inc.

In continuation to complaint # [redacted] which was marked resolved. VIZIO reached out to me within 24 hours of my last Revdex.com complaint to instantly resolve the problem to provide an out of service warranty for our TV. I have the email stating their contract and I agreed to the terms - updated my Revdex.com as resolved & satisfied. Today, I was contacted that my TV is not able to be fixed. Keep in mind this follows almost immediately after I resolved my complaint, and NO technician has seen my TV. My TV is fixable - it has sound but no picture. I was supposed to be held to a free repair service including parts/labor. The rep from VIZIO stated that it was a circuit issue based off their notes and even that is not covered by their warranty. In reviewing their warranty online - This defect would be covered because it is not listed as one of their exclusions: This warranty does not cover, for example: cosmetic damage, normal wear and tear, improper operation, improper voltage supply or power surges, signal issues, damages from shipping, acts of God, any type of customer misuse, modifications or adjustments, as well as installation and set-up issues or any repairs attempted by anyone other than by a VIZIO authorized service center. Products with unreadable or removed serial numbers, or requiring routine maintenance are not covered. I bought this at a reputable retailer 2 years ago. I feel scammed to accept their resolution to only after my case was closed that they called to tell us our only option is purchase a similar TV for $350 + tax. I feel not only do I feel that VIZIO acts unethically to resolve Revdex.com complaints to keep their complaints in the shadow, but they completely breached their contract agreement with us. They have provided us 7 days to determine if we will accept their offer to purchase another TV. Such a shame to treat their consumers in this matter!!!VIZIO needs to uphold orig resolution or refund us! Dear [redacted]: We are pleased that we are able to help you with the cost of parts and/or repairs for an out of warranty repair of your VIZIO product. Since you have agreed in principle to take us up on our offer for help, we just need your formal acknowledgement that you understand this is a one-time, out of warranty courtesy accommodation for this particular VIZIO product and that your current unit will no longer be eligible for any other out of warranty accommodations or assistance from VIZIO (i.e. no further cost reductions on parts, labor, etc.). Please note: VIZIO does not provide any warranty on the repairs being performed by the third party repair service on your out of warranty product in connection with this offer. However, the third party service provider will warrant their work (parts and labor) for a period of ninety (90) days and their limited warranty will only cover the specific issue/failure adde
