Review: This website is a full on scam when I registered and put my credit card on there just like I do on eBay and amazon I was charged a fee of $99.00 dollars which I never authorized they automatically purchased one of the highest packages for me just by me registering they stole my money when I called the 1-877-924-3390 there wasn't an answer until one minute which was when an employee I believe or name was Jane answered the phone she told me that they could take my money off of my card because its in their policies but you clearly dont see that they charge you right on the spot for signing up I never bid on anything I just signed up and got billed I know their are others who have been blind sided by this matter hopefully you can do something about this I receiver a partially refund and I had to work really hard to get that they refused to give me a full refund please if you see this site do not register on it its not worth loosing tour money this is a huge scam I found their number by reading another complaint they also go by Ecom intern, and ZBIDDY.COMDesired Settlement: I was charged $99.00 I only received partial payment if possible I'd like to receive the other half

Review: I registered with zbiddy to be able to bid on merchandise. After I registered I found out that I was being charged $99 and I immediatley contacted them via chat to cancel within 30 minutes. They refused to cancel my service and reimburse me. Instead I went through a series of deals and they offered me $100 in gas certificaes and half of my money back which was $49.50. I found out that the gas certificaes had to be redeemed by mail and that I would only get $10 worth of gas at a time. I received an email that said my refund had been processed and I could expect it in my account within 5-7 days. After 12 days I tried to contact them and could not get a chat response so I emailed them with no response. I finally found a toll free number that I called and then the lady told me that the refund had been processed and when I told her I had checked with my bank and it had not been received she told me to check again within 3-5 days. Still no refund. I can't log into the site because I get a message that says my email adress is not connected to the site but I was also promised to be able to get 100 bids and that I would be guaranteed that I would win but now I can't even log in to bid. This business should be shut down because it is a total scam!

Review: This company has fraudulently charged my account $99 without prior knowledge or "activating" my registration with them. It looked as if it were a site similar to how Ebay works so I registered to see the auction and if I wanted to big and then they automatically charged my account without any say so or forewarning. There is no number to contact them and they do not email you back, I have emailed repeatedly. Review: I registered in this online business today, December 1, Time: 12:26pm. I received an email of a Thank you for registering with hotcloseouts2013.com. In the letter it stated to check out "our "How it Works" section for helpful information, tricks, and strategies". Then another email arrived at 12:29pm which is the Congratulation letter that I was now registered. It stated: "To confirm your account please check the link below within the next 24 hours." In the letter, it has the link for me to click on. So I did straight away. However, after I clicked the link, another email arrived at 12:29pm with my "Order Details(#[redacted]" This third email letter stated welcome to HotCloseouts2013" and etc. However, the next paragraph stated "Thank you for purchasing the bid pack. Make sure to checkout our how it works section...." The letter has my order#, the Bid package, Status, Bids and Price. The price was for $99.00 charged unto my credit card after I registered. The letter has my billing information with the Sub Total: $99. I did NOT see any confirmation about this order nor billing. Usually to place an order online, there is always a confirmation of what I would be billed for and the amount. The billing letter came when I was at the website confirming my registration. I did do 20 bids but had no knowledge about the $99.00 bid package. What disturbs me is how this company placed an order without MY CONFIRMATION for me to submit that particular order. I would not have ordered the $99 bid package when there are bid packages for a lesser cost. Plus the whole website is quite confusing. I had to click everywhere to find information about how to bid, etc. which took quite some time to comprehend.Desired Settlement: I would like this business, HotCloseouts2013, to give me a refund of rest of the bids that are left. I only did 20 bids, but I did NOT know about the 200 bid package of $99! Review: I received an email from MyPoints.com to go to this site as I had won 25 free tokens to use. I used one and won a K-Mart gift card for .01. I had to put my credit card number in to pay for the .01 cents and when I checked my bank account they had charged me $59.01. I did this within 5 minutes after I put it through and immediately sent them an email and told them that I did not approve of the $59.01 charge and to keep the gift card and credit my card right back. I sent their customer service 3 emails. The first 2 were immediately after this happened on November 18th and then again after my card when from pending to a full charge on November November 20th. Review: While in Amazon.com, I noticed an ad which stated, "Black Friday and so I clicked on it." This led me to a site with a bidding price on Apple iPads for as little as a penny. I then clicked to see if whether I would be interested in Zbiddy.com and what it was offering, instead, Zbiddy provided only a "bid" button on the item of interest, and immediately as I clicked on that button, Zbiddy prompted me to "Register FREE and not thinking why they needed my credit card information, but because I was misled by their advertisement of Apple iPads sold cheap, I provided my information without knowing they would bill my credit card $99 for bidding on their site. First of all, there was no INFORMATION provided that such as transaction would take place immediately while registering just scan their products. Had this information been provided to me (customer) I WOULD NOT have willingly given my credit card information and WOULD NOT BE interested to visit their site. Instead, I immediately notice they billed my credit card and was upset at the fact that I just been HAD by Zbiddy. To some it may sound as if it were my fault, but I do not immediately agree to anything until all of the facts are presented to me. I live on a disability pension so I am very sensitive in spending money that I need to help me through my months. In any case, I notified Zbiddy of this situation and no one has contacted me. Although, I see that there might be a problem with my refund of $99, I am continuing to voice my complaint so that another person does not get caught up in this situation. Review: I went to the ZBiddy web page out of curiosity in response to an email. It seemed that it might be worth using someday, if I could verify it valid. was asked for information for possible future bids. Imagine how appalled I was when I discovered that they had debited my account for $79.01 on 11/15. I realized this when I realized that my account statement was short and upon reviewing it I discovered the charge that I neither wanted, nor authorized. Review: I signed up for this auction site (giving them my debit card number,) but decided not to buy any "bids." As soon as I left the website, I discovered ZBiddy had charged me $99. I tried calling their phone number, but it is "no longer a working number." I have just sent them an emai, asking for a credit but, based on the number of complaints I have found on the internet regarding this company, I am 99.9% certain I won't receive a dime. This is the first time (luckily) that I have been scammed. It happened because I did not follow my gut, which was urging me not to enroll myself.Desired Settlement: A check for $99. I am going to the bank tomorrow to close and reopen my account from which these funds were taken. I don't want them to have my number one minute longer. Review: I joined Zbiddy on 08/31/2013. I won several auctions up until 09/07/2013, when I stopped using their site. I paid a total of $140.33 for my purchases and shipping costs. To date I have not received any of the items I have paid for. I have sent 3 requests to them inquiring on the status of my orders but I have not received any response. They state online they have a online chat source but there is no way to access it. There is no phone number to call. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. I find it filled with deceptive and misleading information which I think other consumers should be aware of. My experience was not consistant with the terms of service. As they are refunding my money, it shows that I paid in full for the items I won, yet I do not believe they had any intention of sending them. There was one item that I won that did not require any shipping yet they wanted to bill me a shipping charge that was excessive so I did not pay for that item. But I did pay for every other item which was withheld. They seem to imply that my complaint was unfounded. Certianly when I pay $140 for items supposedly worth a much higher value, and these items are not delivered to me, despite multiple attempts to contact the company I think my complaint is very well founded. In their response they state they provide a customer service line 5 days a week, as they have claimed in numerous responses from other complaints. The problem is that they do not provide such a number for consumer access. Even in their response they do not list this number. This number is not available on their website. There is no contact address or business name on their website. The only option on their website is to contact them via a message service (no address listed) This I attempted to do on three separate occassions, each time waiting for one week for a response. I never received any communication. I will accept their resolution of refunding my money in this case as I believe that this is the only way I will ever receive anything from them. But I do not accept their response as a valid answer to my complaint. I am concerned that this business is receiving payment from individuals and not delivering the merchandise either to 1) defray the costs of something won at a low bid price, 2)to collect money and hope that consumers will not go through the effort or be unaware of options available to recover their money, or 3) they are accepting payment, investing the money they receive and making a profit on that money until such a time comes that they are forced to refund the money. If they had included the customer service number in their response, I would gladly call them to discuss my concerns in this matter. But as I mentioned above, if such a number exists, it is not available to the consumer.

Review: I purchased Zbiddy gas redemption offer on Aug. 9, 2013, order detail [redacted]. Then on August 13, 2013, I received a $100 Free Gas Voucher. I had been told that I had a free trial period and that I could cancel within 2 months and get a complete $60 refund. I had received a registration form on October 7, 2013 and sent it back in completed on October 10, 2013 to the address on the form, Zbiddy Gas Rewards Redemption Center,[redacted], with my registration with gas receipt mailed on October 10.I had not received anything back from Zbiddy. Because I had been within the 2 months cancellation period, I called Zbiddy on October 14th and decided to cancel. Because I had been within the 60 day free trial offer, I had expected a full $60 refund. Cancellation confirmation #[redacted]. I had not received any refund so I called again around Nov. 7 at with 2 redemption coupons but had never received anything back from Zbiddy. When I called I had been told that the $60 credit would be in my bank account. Finally, on Nov. 19, I received an email from Zbiddy Billing Dept. from Penny Garcia, stating that the $60 refund had been processed and that the $60 refund would appear in my bank account within 5-7 business days, depending on my financial institution. I called Zbiddy around Nov. 25 and with one of the Zbiddy supervisors we had done a three way call to my Chase bank and had spoken with one of the bank representatives who had confirmed that no $60 refund had been received in my bank account. The Zbiddy agent had told me that the money would be in my account shortly. Around Dec. 26, I called Zbiddy and spoke with a supervisor named Alice Gomez on extension 359, explaining the situation. She too told me a refund was forthcoming within 10 days. Nothing. On Jan. 10, I spoke with Zbiddy super.,[redacted], she too said that refund within 10 days same story. Around Feb. 3, and received the same story. Review: I received an email advertisement from zbiddy.com for its hotcloseouts2013.com site. The site offers bidding on items such as, ipads, kindles, ipods etc. The website is deceiving, it asks you to bid on items but you must register first. I registered to gain access to the bidding process. It asks for credit card information but leads you to believe that you are giving this information so that if you win a bid you can be charged. Nowhere in the registration process does it imply that you are purchasing bids. zbiddy immediately charged my account $99.00 for the purchase of 200 bids. When I realized that my credit card had been charged $99.00 I tried to contact them, but could not reach anyone so I sent an email and also wrote a snail mail letter to a Delaware address asking very politely for a refund. I heard nothing from them, but I was finally able to get on a chat line and after long chats with two different people they finally agreed to make a refund. Meanwhile, however, I had filed a dispute with my Capital One Visa card and they removed the charge temporarily, but later reinstated it because I had given my credit card information to Zbiddy. Capital One told me to wait until the charge was back on my card and then to contact zbiddy again. When I contacted them again, by chat and by telephone, they were rude and told me they could not refund my money because they had tried to do so when the charge was temporarily lifted from my credit card and now, even though it is back on the card, they cannot make a refund because it would cause a system error. I asked them to send me a check if they could not refund on the credit card and they said that is not possible. They ended the chat very quickly and used capital letters to tell me I was not getting a refund and also the customer service representative on the phone was rude and hung up very quickly on me.Desired Settlement: Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded $99. Review: Did not receive gas voucher as promised.

The problem occurred on November 4, 2013. I unknowingly purchased some kind of bidding package for $99.00. When I realized that I was automatically charged, I immediately opened a chat site with a customer service rep, don't know if it was a real person or not, but was able to get at least $49.50 credited to my account. I was also supposed to receive $100 worth of gas vouchers to cover the remaining amount owed. My refund amount was credited November 12, 2013. The representative that contacted me from their billing department was Penny Garcia, but don't really know if that's a real person. My reference number was [redacted] When the vouchers did not come I contacted another person and they sent a registration form to fill out to receive the vouchers, that was 11/23/13 and I still have not received anything from them. I don't have any phone numbers, as its all through the computer. I can't believe I did this, but this company is very crafty in getting people to look at their site and then get charged.Desired Settlement: I am seeking to receive $100 in gas vouchers that was promised to me in lieu of the remaining $49.50 that they owe me. Review: I got an email from hotcloseouts2013.com regarding auctions. I looked at the website and it seemed interesting and legal. you needed to enter information to register. I thought it was just for bidding so I entered info, without authorizing anything they automatically charged my credit care 99.00. When I try to find a phone number there isnt one. there is nothing noted on the site that they will charge 99.00, and I didnt click an authorization button. it just automatically directed me to my credit card into and payment. I checked and they are a scam.they also go my ZBIDDY.com or Hotcloseouts2013.comDesired Settlement: I want my refund of 99.00 and the company investigated for fraud.

...But, they need to provide a phone number to contact. And their live chat is not available as it says on their website. I was issued a refund only when I found a phone number from a website saying this company is a scam. and that was a phone number in Florida. Also, their site does not allow you to confirm or cancel your payment before purchase. It automatically billed my credit card. I was issued a refund but this website is still a scam and I will beware of them in the future.

Review: My complaint against this company is exactly like most of the complaints that I've read: on June 21, 2013, I was "gifted" with some supposedly free bids, when I was hit with a $79 bid package charge on my credit card. My order numbers were # 465054, 465055, and 465058. My printout also shows a bid for a magazine subscription ($13.98), and an Offer Package for eGift Cards at $19. My total was $111.98. The only product/service I received for this large amount was a one-year subscription.I have just come across this printout of the Order Details, and tried to sign on to the website, but they claim my email (my one and only personal email that I've had for more than 16 years) is not in their database. How can I get in touch with them, without having to sign up and give my credit card number again?Thank you for your help.Desired Settlement: I would respectfully request a refund of the $79 Bid Package, and $19 Offer Package, for a total of $98.00, since I was ill-informed about the amount of the purchase.

Review: I wanted to log into auction site, which req your credit card information.I thought this was to register to bid on items. it automatically charges 99$ and you receive 200 bids for the site, when completing the registration that is all you see on your screen unless you move to view any other information on the page which apparently tells you, that you are purchasing these bids.when I requested a refund they would not provide it I was given some kind of rebate for gas which I have to mail the form get a rebate form send in receipt and if they deem it appropriate they will give me 10$ I guess. Review: I Purchased multiple items from this auction website. The only thing delivered were the bids won in an auction. They were credited immediately. None of the other items were delivered. I contacted customer service via chat and they said they sent a message to shipping but it would take 3-5 days for a response, which is clearly unacceptable. The chat session went downhill from there and I asked that all items purchase be credited to my account. I was then given a customer service phone number, which by the way is not published or readily available on the website. I called to verify my cancellation request. Like the chat session, it appears that the customer service is outsourced and the business address appears to be a drop location. They said my request would be processed in 3-5 days. The site says that bids purchased are non refundable, however, in the description on item purchased it says returnable within 14 days. These issues seem to be frequent occurrences with this auction site and a typical canned response that refers to their terms of service saying the customer is informed of everything. Not so. They in no way address the promised dates of delivery in their terms of service.Desired Settlement: Refund of all charges for all items.
