ZBiddy.com Online Auction Reviews (371)

Review: I wanted to log into auction site, which req your credit card information.I thought this was to register to bid on items. it automatically charges 99$ and you receive 200 bids for the site, when completing the registration that is all you see on your screen unless you move to view any other information on the page which apparently tells you, that you are purchasing these bids.when I requested a refund they would not provide it I was given some kind of rebate for gas which I have to mail the form get a rebate form send in receipt and if they deem it appropriate they will give me 10$ I guess. I don't believe I will receive anything. thank you,PaulaDesired Settlement: I would like my 99$ refunded and I would like the site fixed so that it is much more apparent you are purchasing something. normally when you hit the button that says register it does not mean you are purchasing anything

Review: I went to this auction website with the intent to review the products that are up for bid. However, in order to do so, I was required to create a username and password, which I did. It then asked me for my cc information. I figured it was one of those websites that requires a cc # for them to hold in case you do decide to make a purchase. Therefore I entered in the information. Then hit submit/create in order to view the website. However, un beknownst to me, they charged me $99.00 along with a foreign exchange fee on my credit card. Never once did the website say that I was being charged this amount, or for me to click here to confirm this payment amount. This website is completely fraudulent and hides information in the small print. As soon as I realized what a fraud this website/company is, I tried to contact them to cancel the transaction. They do not post their address or phone number. The only way reach them is correspondence through their website. Which is what I did. I demanded they refund the money and cancel the account. They did not respond. I disputed this with the credit card company and they countered with the "terms of services," that does not say anywhere that I am buy bids just by creating a username and password. Consumers need to be more proctected against such unfair and deceptive businesses. This business should not have been able to charge me without my consent of the dollar amount being charged. This business needs to be looked into and shut down to prevent more consumers from being scammed. Their website and practice is clearly unreliable and a unmoral activities are being committed. They were not even listed as a business with the Revdex.com. Wish I would've known that prior to looking at their website.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to refund my money as I was not aware of a purchase, and I did not receive any product in return. They need to be cracked down or shut down or investigated by the Revdex.com. They are a very deceptive company and does not provide a number for consumers to call or cancel.

Review: They never sent the items that I 'won' on their auction site. Also a refund for my investment has not been received.Desired Settlement: refund my $124.10 investment

Review: My complaint against this company is exactly like most of the complaints that I've read: on June 21, 2013, I was "gifted" with some supposedly free bids, when I was hit with a $79 bid package charge on my credit card. My order numbers were # 465054, 465055, and 465058. My printout also shows a bid for a magazine subscription ($13.98), and an Offer Package for eGift Cards at $19. My total was $111.98. The only product/service I received for this large amount was a one-year subscription.I have just come across this printout of the Order Details, and tried to sign on to the website, but they claim my email (my one and only personal email that I've had for more than 16 years) is not in their database. How can I get in touch with them, without having to sign up and give my credit card number again?Thank you for your help.Desired Settlement: I would respectfully request a refund of the $79 Bid Package, and $19 Offer Package, for a total of $98.00, since I was ill-informed about the amount of the purchase.

Review: There is no working email, legal address, or telephone number to seek customer service or to cancel a subscription. They take your credit card information but do not let you log back on to make bids on this penny auction site. They promise to send you a 'forgot password' contact but do not follow up with the information or contact. There is also no top bid. Bidding can go on forever with no one winning the bid - only 'purchasing' bids allows them to make money from the consumer. There is no way to see if any items have been won/awarded to the top bidder.Desired Settlement: Please see that my contact information is expunged from their records and that I receive any and all charges that they may have charged to me. Please make certain consumers are informed that there is no 'ceiling' bid whereupon bidding can last forever with the bidder only shelling out more money for items never won/purchased. I believe this is only a SCAM. There is no way to see if any items have been won/awarded to the top bidder.

But I would still like to point out that the Customer Service telephone/contact/email information is still not provided or working. Thank you for your prompt assistance.

Review: I won an IPAD on 10/25/13. Have never received it. I have had numerous conversations with the customer service agents but still no product. They say shipping area problem and will escalate. Still no IPAD. I want the IPAD and not a refund as I spent several attempts to win this and feel they should honor this. Otherwise, they will not ship and just refund the amount not considering all of the times you bid on one and didn't win. I have spent well over the $499 trying to win one. So a refund of the price for this one time no where pays for what I've spent. I have all of my credit card receipts for the bids I've purchased. I planned on giving this to my son for Christmas. I took a picture and told him he will get it soon but I haven't received. I had another conversation today with the customer service agent and she could not commit to a date it would be sent so I advised I would be filing this complaint in hope I would get it soon. I have a copy of my chats so if you need those I will be glad to provide. You will see it is like a record. Same reasons every time. The agents are nice and I know it is out of their hands.Thank you for any assistance you can provide in helping me get this item.Desired Settlement: I want the IPAD please. Nothing else would be acceptable.

Thank you so much for your assistance. We received the Ipad and are happy. It is a shame this business did not respond to the many attempts I made prior to asking for your help. I believe if you had not assisted I may not have ever received this item. Thanks again.

Review: I went to the part that said sign up, because most sites allow you to sign up and then determine if you want to participate. Once I signed up it automatically charged me 99.00. It does not adequately specify it is going to charge your account when you sign up. I was told they would refund 49.00, send me a gas voucher and I could use the points. I did not want to purchase only wanted to look. This is misleading.Desired Settlement: I want my 99.00 back in total. NOt 49.00 and not a gas voucher.

Review: I visited their website that claims to be an auction site. It required me to "sign in and register". I did register (and read their terms) and they ask your bank card info. to be able to bid, I tryed 2 times and could not understand their auction process. I decided I did not like their site so I logged off. I was on the site less than 5 minutes. Within minutes of logging off I got an email from them stating their had billed my bank account $99 for an order for "bids". I never ordered anything from this business. I returned to the site to complain and could not find any way other than an email to contact them to correct this bill. I found another complaint website that had a number of other people that this same problem and there was a reply from a zbiddy.com respondant that included a toll free number (888-406-6509) that will not dial through. Their business address is not listed in any directorys that I searched for. And I have not received any responses to the multiple emails I sent at their custumer service contact. I want my money back, this scam has caused me to have to close out my Visa card and have to spend all day contacting the businesses that automatically bill from my card.Desired Settlement: Refund my $99

Review: They asked for credit card # but did not tell why and they would charge you and why. In advertising didn't say they would charge you $99 for 100 bids

They did not tell how there site was ran and that one would be charged for any service. Just asked for credit card # and thought is would be used when you bid on and item and would win so it was there for that. They just automatically charged me $99 and didn't say why and what for in advertisement. Then tried and call immediately they had no # to refer too, just e-mail. So called credit card company and they was real shady said I had no account but took my money. So we was on phone for about an hour and first call was dropped through a cell with bad reception and second call didn't have any information on me so they needed a couple of days to get it but was able to take my money. I never use this and want my $99 back. They need to say how this works and how you will be billed if one choses to use there site. They need better customer service and that is if they are reputable. My credit card company told me they have many complaints against them and should not be a problem and don't talk with them further. Now here I am again fighting this charge for a service never used and never had a way on understanding I be charged automatically and how they operated.Desired Settlement: If this a scam need to be terminated and if not need to advertise and disclose how they operate.

Review: Waiting for over 3 months for a product I purchased. Fraudulent charge on my bank account.
I won a $10 gift card from the penny auction site, zibddy.com. It has been over 3 months since I purchased that gift card, and I still haven't received it. To top it off, at the time when I won the card, I was charged $79 for a bid pack. When I asked them about it, they claimed it was because I agreed to have the gift card shipped to me, that I also agreed to the $79 purchase and that it was in the terms of service. Well, I looked into the terms of service and nowhere did I say that. I informed them of this several times, and have never heard back from them. I won the gift card back on 10-15-2013.Desired Settlement: At this point, I am no longer concerned with the gift card, because that only cost me 1 cent, and I just know they will keep claiming that they are going to send it out, but they never do. At this point, I am requesting a refund in the full amount of $79.

Review: I joined this auction website. they took my money. WEbsite is down and I cannot use the points that I paid for to win any auctions. This place is a fraud. I want my money back for all the auctions that I paid for and pints that I have.Desired Settlement: I want my money back for all the auctions that I paid for and pints that I have.

Review: Company refuses to refund total amount charged on my credit/debit card for a cancelled transaction. Charge originated in Montreal Canada.

Tried to place bid on website. Invoice reflected charge amount as over 10 times the amount of product. I cancelled this transaction. Months later in November my credit/debit card was charged for this transaction. After lengthy telephone call, company only offers partial refund, refusing to issue refund for the total amount charged. Charge on my bank statement originated in Montreal Canada.Desired Settlement: I am seeking total refund of $32.61 from company.

Review: I was going on the ZBIDDY.COM website to look around because it was discussed on television. Before I was allowed on the site, I had to put in a credit card. Well, I thought they would need that in case I decided to bid on an item on the website. Boy, was I wrong! They immediately charged $99.00 to my credit card and said it was for a bid package. I did not want a bid package because at that point in time I just wanted to look around and see what the site was about.
